The following day, Regina walked around the docks when she spotted Doctor Archie Hopper walking his dog, Pongo. She approached him and stood in his way. "Beautiful day, isn't it, Regina?" Doctor Hopper asked, looking up at the mayor.
But Regina didn't answer back. She was still mad at him for what he had been telling Emma. What she thought he would have said to the whole town too. "Why should I answer you, Bug?" she asked back sternly.
"Because I'm making friendly conversation," he answered, though he was confused about what Regina meant.
"That you'll just repeat to anyone with an ear. You told Ms Swan about our sessions."
Doctor Hopper sighed. "I was simply trying to help you."
"By betraying my trust?"
"I mentioned only that you had come to see me as an example of your commitment to change."
"I came to you in confidence, Cricket. How am I supposed to prove to people I've changed when you're there to chirp in people's ears and remind them of my past?"
"I said nothing specific. I would never betray the doctor-patient confidentiality."
"Doctor? Doctor?! Need I remind you got your PhD from a curse?"
Ruby was running past when she stopped by them. "Hey. Is everything okay here?" She asked. "Private conversation. Go take yourself for a walk," Regina said, not taking her eyes off Archie.
Ruby took a glance at both before leaving and continued on her run.
"You can trust me. I assure you," Doctor Hopper said.
Regina glared at him. "You're lucky I've changed."
That night, there was a knock at Doctor Hopper's office door. Doctor Hopper went to the door and opened it to show Regina standing there. "I know it's late, but I hope we can talk," Regina said.
"Sure. Come on in," Doctor Hopper said when Pongo started to bark. "Hush, Pongo. You know Regina," Doctor Hopper said as he went over to his file cabinet. "I know how hard it is. Real change can often be...a struggle."
"I couldn't agree more."
Doctor Hopper turned to face Regina. "Regina is there something..." he said but was cut off by Regina, who started to strangle him in mid-sentence. Pongo began to bark again, but Regina stunned him with magic while choking Doctor Hopper's life. Afterwards, she left the office and walked into an alleyway, where she turned to her proper form in a poof of purple smoke, revealing it wasn't Regina in Archie's office. It was Cora.
