At noon that day, Mr Gold knocked on the door with his cane, to which Emma opened it. "Ready to go, Miss Swan?" He asked, entering the apartment.
"Almost," Emma said, sighing, as Henry approached them, coming down the staircase.
"Do you think it'll be cold where we're going or warm?" He asked.
"I think layers are always a good idea," Emma told her son.
"I thought the terms of our agreement were quite clear. You owe me a favour. You alone," Mr Gold said.
"I'm not leaving Henry here with Cora lurking about. So either we both go, or we both stay."
Mr Gold was silent for a moment, then said, "Then, we'll have to purchase another plane ticket, won't we?"
Emma looked at him, confused. "Wait, we're flying?" she asked. "We're not taking the TARDIS?"
"Well, it's my trip, dearie. I'm covering expenses, even the new ones," Mr Gold said as David walked down the stairs, holding a bag.
"You're a real gentleman, aren't you?" David said, giving Emma the bag, then went over to Mr Gold. He said, in a calm voice, "Alright, Gold. You're going out there with my family. Just know, if anything happens to them, I'll..."
Mr Gold interrupted him. "Then, you'll what? Cross the town line, and David Nolan will hunt me down in his animal rescue van?"
"I'll be devastated. This isn't a threat. It's a request. Take care of them."
"I promise no harm will come to your family. After all, we have a deal."
All piled into Mr Gold's car. With Mr Gold in the driver's seat and Belle in the passenger's, the Professor was seated at the back with Emma and Henry sitting in the middle.
Once everyone was seated, Mr Gold started the car's engines and drove off towards the town line. Everyone was silent until they came close to the town line. Henry leaned forward. "So, where are we going?" he asked.
"Logan International Airport," Mr Gold answered.
Emma looked over at Mr Gold. "I think he meant after that." "Let's just take things one step at a time, shall we?"
"Are you sure that this will work? That you two won't forget who you are?" Emma asked.
"It will work."
Belle nodded. "Of course. Our love protects us," she said of the rings.
"I don't see how those rings will protect you," Emma said.
"They're more than just rings," the Professor said. "They're made of technology far greater than you have ever seen."
The car crossed over the town line, and both Mr Gold and Belle had a blue light shimmer over them.
Emma leaned forward. "So?"
"My name is Rumplestiltskin. And we're going to find my son," he said, and Belle gave his hand a soft squeeze.
