(before we start, this fanfic is an idea and I'm not a great writer, but I hope that people like it and can be inspired by it to make new stories and let go of the imagination)
CAP1- Awakening
In space you could see a huge gray ship, its shape was somewhat irregular but intimidating and Spirit of Earth was written on its sides in giant letters, but the most important thing was not the ship but who woke up.
In one capsule a man could be seen waking up from a long sleep dressed in a greenish uniform with the UNSC symbol.
(change of perspective)
I woke up seeing that he was in some kind of capsule, very similar to the one you see at the beginning of fallout 4.
'A cryogenic capsule, where will I be' I was surprised at how calm he was, waking up in a capsule in who knows where it was a crazy situation and more when I remember that I had just gone to bed, luckily my questions were going to be answered soon the capsule began to open.
It opened and I saw a young woman in an officer's uniform with a marine I immediately recognized from the Halo universe.
"Captain, it's time to wake up" The officer greeted me with a somewhat informal tone but at the same time she seemed worried.
"Captain, me?" I was quite confused, I mean I read a lot of transmigration novels and many of them Chinese, like one where the main character transmigrates into a clone of Hitler, just after the murder of the original, but what happened to me is another story.
"Yes sir, are you alright?" When I asked, the officer got even more worried, it's normal she knew we were in a bad situation and that her captain being sick would make things even worse.
"I think I may suffer from amnesia, I need a situation report, where are we, who are you and the situation of the ship" Since I confirmed that I was the captain I had to act a bit like one, and amnesia was a useful excuse for this and at the same time Listening to me, the officer seemed to feel a little better.
"Captain, I'll take you to the bridge and let's talk on the way." After saying that, he helped me get up from the capsule and we began to walk to the elevator that leads to the bridge.
"Captain first of all my name is Sarah, I am your second in command, we are aboard the Spirit of Earth it is a Phoenix class support ship and the current date is 2540 or so I think" Sarah tried to be the most restrained when explaining but I had doubts.
"officer just tell me if we are close to home and the state of the ship, I remember that we were at war with the covenant and that the situation was not good" when she hears me mention the war she feels better.
"Let's go in" we had just reached the elevator and shortly after we would be on the bridge.
"Captain before we froze, we were escaping from a covenant super destroyer that ambushed us, we were lucky and we were able to escape into slipspace, but just as we entered a plasma torpedo hit right in the area of the slipspace engine, and next thing we know we're in unknown space, without materials and 1 year from the nearest star, so you sent us to sleep "
'What a problem I hope it's not a crossover type transmigration, who am I kidding it's probably that.' crossed my fingers and thought 'please not warhammer'
The opening of the door along with an officer saying "Captain on the bridge" made me stop thinking about the problems and focus on the current situation.
At the same time everyone on the bridge stood up and saluted. "Rest" I said and everyone kept doing their job.
At the same time, a projection of a woman in Greek dress formed on the center table. "Good morning captain, Athena at her service" she said as she bowed a little.
'An AI, at least luck smiles on me' she thought.
"Athena I need a situation report, first start with the ship and then where the hell are we" when speaking she adopted a firm tone, in a situation like this people need a figure to lead them.
"I understand captain, the ship is mostly intact, only some superficial burns on the armor, the most damage is to the slipspace engine which until we find resources to repair it is inoperable and to the stores, which were mostly part destroyed, making us lose most of the reserves, as for the crew except 20 people with bad luck, the rest is fine "
The AI gave me several projections while reporting, luckily the situation was not so bad.
"And how far are we from home Athena?" I asked for
"far away sir" that didn't sound right "as we all know slipspace travel involves moving through another dimension, which is connected to others,"
"That is to say we are not in the same universe or reality" I sounded little surprised
"Yes sir, we are not only in another reality but in another galaxy, luckily we were not far from this solar system" The AI sounded optimistic.
"At least we don't have to worry about the Covenant, Athena, and the planet?" I was curious the planet was completely green, with only the polar ice and some gigantic rivers.
"It's a jungle planet, the atmosphere is suitable for life" but before he could finish, a red light appeared.
"Athena, what's wrong?"
"Captain, I am receiving a transmission from the planet, but it is very slight."
"You can translate it?" I was curious who would call a ship like ours.
"yes captain, the language is very similar to english, but with many differences in accent and several words, only that it is a bit incomplete"
Shortly after an audio sounded "Here the Jedi Knight - we have been shot down by - we request immediate assistance, the ship is - and the rest of the crew is dead"
After that it cut off.
"A sign for help huh" 'jedis' I thought, the universe of star wars is dangerous, but danger brings many opportunities.
"Sir, we know where they are, do we send troops?" i wonder sarah
"Send out a squad of ODST, and send them a couple of armed Pelicans for support and reconnaissance."
"Yes sir" answered both the AI and sarah.
'Now we just have to wait' I thought
(The end)
This chapter cost me a bit to write, any advice is welcome, and if you can leave information about any interesting subplot of the star wars comics, I would be very grateful.
Ps the story begins several years before the attack on naboo, simply because the unsc technology is too weak to get in the way of everything.
