Boom! The ground shook.

O-Tsuru ran out of the tea house in Ebisu town to see what had happened. In the distance, outside the town, she saw a massive lump in a cloud of dust. When the cloud dissipated a little she saw that the lump was inside a crater. Did it fall from above?

O-Tsuru looked up and saw a kind of blurred diamond shape surrounded by clouds that partially obscured the moon. What is that? The diamond shape was getting closer. Is this a piece of rock?

Woosh-woosh-woosh-woosh...

Something else fell from the rock. Something spun on its way down. A bird with a broken wing? No, it's bigger than a bird. One of the pirates with some Smile fruit? Aren't they all supposed to be in Onigashima tonight?

Woosh-woosh-woosh-boom!

A crater again, a little smaller, and again a cloud of dust. The dust settled and nothing else moved. O-Tsuru advanced towards it cautiously when something fell suddenly on her head.

Gyaaa! She was startled. But it was not painful; it was something black, soft and caressing. A huge wing? O-Tsuru lifted the wing and examined it. No. It's only half a wing. Cut in a completely straight line, bleeding from the cut. What on earth?

She dropped the wing and continued to advance to the closer crater, the one formed last. There lay the man from whom the half-wing had been cut. His legs were tucked into leather pants with studs and were very long. He must be really tall, she thought. His left wing, the one that was not cut, was folded around him and hid his face and most of his upper body. But O-Tsuru managed to see that his bare brown abdomen is slashed and bleeding profusely, starting from the belt line and straight up, to his chest hidden by the wing.

Could... could it be King? Kaido's right hand man? O-Tsuru recoiled. She had heard horrible things about the cruelty of this pirate. Even if he is unconscious and severely wounded, it is best to keep some distance from him. His wheezing breaths made it clear to her that he was still alive.

Quietly and carefully, she went to check out the other crater. Her eyes widened in astonishment. There lay Kaido's second All-Star, Queen. His face and teeth were crushed, his right hand was missing, and a huge bump grew on his head. He was just as unconscious as his crewmate, but he too, unfortunately, was still breathing.

What are they doing here? And what is this thing that they fell from? The floating rock was getting closer, going down and down. Not as if it's falling, more as if a power struggle was taking place within it, whether to get closer and fall or move away and float up. The rock was getting closer and closer, bigger and bigger, and O-Tsuru started running back towards Ebisu town, frightened that it might fall down on top of her.

When it was close enough, she saw strips of clouds surrounding the rock, and holding them was… Kaido? No, it was a pink dragon! The dragon seemed to be trying to keep the rock away from the town and the city, but despite his efforts, the rock kept getting closer.

Suddenly another really big boom sounded, and to her amazement, O-Tsuru saw another crater, a really big one, in the middle of which, stuck like an onion, head down and feet up, was the emperor Kaido with its horns stuck deep into the ground.

C... C... Crack! The horns cracked and broke with a loud sound of explosion, and Kaido lay unconscious in the pit created by his fall. A huge hole was gaping open in the center of his chest all the way to his back, as if a bomb had blown him up from the inside out, and his body was lying at an odd angle, as if his spine was broken in ninety degrees.

Tsuru hastened her steps, but suddenly the rock gave an upward jolt and leaned on its side! Tsuru managed to see the Skull Mountain and one of its horns. What is Onigashima doing here?! She thought.

Suddenly she heard a familiar voice: "Hurry! Everyone get off the island!" Is she dreaming? That's the voice of Kozuki Oden! Actually no, not exactly... but very similar!

Ropes began to dangle from the island, flying fruit-users carried others and flew to the ground, and people began descending, running away from Onigashima in any possible manner.

Robin's net of hands stretched out very wide, and masses of samurai and pirates descended and glided down it.

O-Tsuru turned around and began to help the descending people. Many of them were injured to one degree or another, and she helped them get away from the island a bit and sit or lie on the ground side by side. More people from Ebisu town began to arrive, running back and forth bringing worn-out clothes that they tore to bandages, and what little clean water they could get to clean the wounds.

After a few long, tense minutes, all the people had descended and the pink dragon, even more stressed, began to lift the island and move it away, towards the Udon Desert. This time the island did not seem to resist its movement, and after gaining enough speed, the dragon released it in a swing, and it advanced in a wide arc, before exploding with a deafening roar over the desert.

The dragon quickly flew back towards them, landed on the ground and... disappeared? No. In its place stood a tall, familiar man. O-Tsuru's heart began to pound. Kozuki Oden? It can't be! No... not Oden... Momonosuke?
