After a quick shower, I dressed and met Percy in the hall.

"Sup Perce."

"Hey, Jade."

"I'm surprised you didn't run and say hi to your friends."

"Yeah well I'm trying to figure out a way to tell them about all of this," he says gesturing to the house.

"So are you going to tell them about the family?"

"No, not yet. I don't even know why they're here yet."

"Okay. Just tell me when you do."

We reach the end of the hall and go down the stairs to the dining. I open the door and smile.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here."

"Be nice Jade," says Percy from behind me. He tried to say it seriously but ended up smiling as well. "So exactly how do you find me?" Asked Percy.

"Leo," answered a girl with blonde hair and a nice tan. She was pretty with her curly hair and grey eyes.

I sneak a glance at Percy. At first, all I saw was happiness and love but behind his bright eyes, there was fear. According to Percy's stories, his girlfriend was clever and would figure things out faster than preferred. Percy wanted to ease his friends into things. Despite his fears, I smile at the thought of someone making Percy scared. He isn't someone that scares easily.

I walk to my seat which is at the moment sandwiched between a girl with black spiky hair and electric blue eyes and a guy with black hair with dark basically back eyes.

"Hello," I say to the girl, "and your name is."

"Thalia."

"And you," I look at the boy.

"Nico."

"So what's yours?" Asks Thalia.

"Jade."

"Kit. It seems you healed well," says Rose from behind me. She and a few other girls set down a few trays filled with sandwiches and pitchers of lemonade.

"Yes. There's nothing water can't do."

I couldn't help but smile as I see all of the teens and gods look at Poseidon. Thalia caught it so I push it down. She narrowed her eyes at me and was about to say something but I beat her to it.

"Percy, are you just going to stand there like an idiot, or are you going to sit down? Also, where are Micah and Dylan?"

"I don't know."

I heard my phone ring and answered it.

"Hello."

"Your eating with Demigods. Really?"

At the voice, I stand and excuse myself as I leave the dining room."Yes. Do you have a problem with it?"

"Yes, I do."

"Why? What are they going to do? Kill me inside of my own home? I understand that you don't trust Percy but could you please take your head out of your ass. You know what? Tell me this. How do you know that I have guests in my house and how did you know that I'm about to eat."

"Oh, I always know what going on."

"So you're a stalker now. You know I don't really care what you do because:(1) my guards know to kill you if you're seen on my property and (2) if I see you I'll personally make sure your world burns to the ground."

"You're making a mistake Jade he lied to you."

"Oh okay let me ask Percy something," I put the phone on mute and look at Percy who followed me out.

"So this is an interesting conversation."

"Is it who I think it is."

"Yup."

"What does he want now."

"Nothing yet. He seems to think you lied to me."

"About what. Because I've lied to you about surprise birthday parties, presents, and pranks but that's all and you already know this."

"Yeah let me ask him."

I take the phone off mute. "So what did Percy lie about?"

"The Greeks and Romans have a truce."

At his words, I let out a small scoff. "You shouldn't lie about shit like that. You know very well what happens to people when they start talking about their kind. So take this as a warning Lestrange, that if you even try to convince me that they are at peace then I won't wait to hunt you down like the mutt you are and burn you at the stake," I yell into the phone and hang up. To be honest I already knew they had a truce since Percy had told me but Parker didn't need to know that.

I sigh and rub my hands over my face. With the help of the gods, their children and my kind have remained a part for centuries but due to the recent war, things have changed. The demigods know little to nothing about my world. This is why Percy doesn't want to say anything yet it's a delicate situation.

"We have a problem."

This time Percy sighs. "What?"

"Parker knows about the Roman-Greek truce."

"That's bad right?

"Yeah if my people find out they might panic. Since they know where the camps are, they might feel the need to attack if they think you guys are planning something.

"Yeah, that's pretty bad." Percy rubs his face then looks at me, "You have a lot of influence in your world right?"

"Yeah. Why"

"What if you put in a good word for us.

"I could do that but it wouldn't be enough. How about this. Our school is mostly nonhumans. Important and powerful nonhumans. If they get attached, which they will since they'll believe their humans, no matter what happens I'll be able to convince them to fight for you all. The higher-ups won't be able to do anything."

"So keep it a secret until necessary."

"Yes. they don't need to know."

"But that's only if they attend our school."

"Well, then Perce I guess you need to convince them."

He nods and we walk back into the kitchen.

Everyone had been eating but stopped to stare at us when we entered. Someone had asked Percy if everything was alright and he came up with some lie. I sat and ate silently as people conversed. then I realized I didn't know names or well I didn't know what names went with who.

"Sorry, but I just realized I don't many of your names."

As I said the words they impliedly set off with introductions.

"You have a lot of friends Percy," I say absentmindedly.

"Says the girl who's loved by everyone in our school. That's almost 1000 people."

"Yeah well, I'm pretty sure the people from our school are your friends too."

"No, half of them hate me because I'm friends with you, especially the guys."

"I'm pretty sure more people hate me than you."

"My grandpa and great Grandma hate me and they also tried to kill me. Separate occasions."

"My three ex-best friends killed my brother and sister-in-law because I rejected their brother and know they hate me."

"My uncle's wife somehow managed to wipe my memory and sent me to San Francisco."

I laughed, "If this was a competition of worst relatives you would win. Why did she do it?"

"I don't remember."

I laughed again.

"The worst thing any family member of mine has ever done was when my cousin kissed my boyfriend in front of me. Which he almost killed her for."

"Wow, even my cousins aren't that bad."

"Hey," said Thalia.

"Your Percy's cousin?"

"Yeah so are Nico, Jason, and Hazel."

"Hmmm. That's...interesting."

My phone dinged, so I looked at the message and it was from one of my friends, Cassian.

"Sorry, guys something has come up."

"Is everything all right?" Asked Percy.

I smirked.

"Yeah. It's Cass."

"Who's that?" Asked Thalia who earned a glare from Nico.

"It's none of our business Thalia," Said Nico through gritted teeth.

I laughed, "It's okay."

"See," she says while glaring back at Nico, "So nothing bad has happened."

"Well with my friends something bad always happens. Trouble is attached to us. Cass is the worst. Very irresponsible. It seems he and my other friend have done something impeccably stupid. So I will be back within the hour...or two."

I rose from my seat and quickly made my way to the garage. Like humans, some people do bad things. I'm no stranger to these bad things. In my world, there's this thing called The League. It operates similarly to the Mafia. The League is divided into ten sectors that have different jobs. With this, we help each other. Some of the sectors do illegal stuff some don't but all answer to one guy. I work for Sector One which specializes in information gathering. Within Sector One there are five teams. I'm in team one. Two of my teammates were on a mission but according to Cassian, shit hit the fan. So now here I am driving to a privately owned warehouse where my friends were.

The warehouse was close so the drive wasn't long. Soon enough I'm inside a musty room looking down at a dead body littered with bullet holes. I glance at Carter who held her upper arm as blood gushed between her fingers.

"Kay is already on her way," she says.

I nod and turn my attention to the problem at hand. The guy, who was supposed to give us important information, is now dead.

"What happened?"

"Well...he managed to break out of his bindings, steal carter's gun, and run away. We got into a gunfight and obviously, we won."

"I wouldn't call this a win. Now I have to use necromancy. That takes a lot of magic."

Cassian gave a lopsided grin and sling his arm around my shoulders. "Well, then it's a good thing our best friend is super powerful."

I shrug his arm off and went to my car to get the stuff I needed. Luckily this spell didn't need many materials.

I came back into the room and began. With necromancy, you could do two things. Control the dead or look into the dead's mind. I was doing the latter. All I had to do was remove the brain and say the spell. Too bad said spell drains your magic. As I was attempting to get to this guy's brain without a saw Kay came. Kay was one of our two medics. As an Angel, she had the ability the heal any physical injury.

She focused on Carter while I focused on the guy. Cassian got bored and decided to talk to me even though I needed to concentrate.

"Dylan told me some of Percy's friends are visiting."

"Yup."

"What are they like?"

"Friendly but I don't have a good enough read on them."

"Do they know?"

"No."

After an uncomfortable crack, the skull splits giving me access to the brain. After cutting the brain stem I place the brain on the ground and do the spell. In a few seconds, my mind links with the dead brain giving me access to all his memories. In a few minutes I was done and very tired.

"So?"

"I got what we need so I fill out the report and give it to William."

"Thanks, Cub. Will you be leaving out the part where we killed him before we got the information?"

I give Cassian a look. "Yes but not next time."

"That's what you said last time," Carter says with a smirk.

"Shut up. I really will."

At this kay smiled. The three of them knew I never would.

"I have to get back to the house. Percy and his friends are waiting."

"Say hello for me?" Asked Cassian.

I nod as kay and carter join in.

"Yeah, see ya later. And clean up that mess."

I made my way to my way to the car and headed back to the house. I wonder if Percy's convinced them to go to our school yet.
