As they approached the cube they saw that it was much larger than a Poneglyph. It was taller than King, maybe eight meters tall.
"What could this be?" Robin wondered.
"Maybe it's..." King thought aloud, "Hey! That's my room! I told you it was like a safe."
King laughed and ran to it. He examined it from all sides, wiping some ashes here and there. "It is turned on its side. Here's the door."
King went down on his knees, created a flame in his hand and heated a certain place at the lower part of the door. Suddenly there was a 'click' and King lifted the heavy steel door up on its rail.
Robin peeked inside. A huge bed stood with its headboard side down on the floor and the feet side almost touching the ceiling. A large closet filled almost the entire floor, and thrown on top of it were a chair without a backrest and a desk of a size fitting King. Between them, a jumble of different objects of various kinds was tossed around.
King held the door over his head with one hand, and with the other dragged the bed to it, so that it would hold the door and prevent it from falling down. For Robin, the room looked like a large hall, but for King's size, it was merely a pretty small and compact room, containing nothing but his personal belongings.
"Nothing is burnt." Robin said, astonished.
"My room is fireproof." King explained. "Oh, finally, a shirt I can button!" gladly, he took off his torn shirt and put on the shirt from the closet. The shirt had two long slits on the shoulder blades, for the wings, which were closed from above with a button.
"I'm going up in the meantime." said Robin, allowing him privacy rummaging through his belongings, "Maybe I I'll be able to find the red Poneglyph from there."
Robin looked around, over areas that had previously been too far away to see very well, and examined the black landscape.
"I'm just packing myself a few things and I'll join you." King replied. "Oh, here's my other mask! And my coat!"
Robin smiled to herself. Zoro wouldn't like to see him as if nothing had been damaged. At least he will not be able to hide his wing.
"My father's sword!" called King. "Did I tell you that Kaido stole it from Punk Hazard for me?"
"Wasn't that the sword that was broken?" asked Robin.
"No," replied King. "That one was a sword made in Wano, with a tooth-comb trick that pulls away the opponent's swords. Queen's design. But this – this is a real Meito. During the fight against the King of Hell I recalled some things my father had taught me, things that I had long since forgotten when I adopted the fighting methods of the Beasts Pirates. Even though I was defeated, I'm glad I fought him. It was an important lesson for me."
King came out of the room, hung the scabbard on his belt, pulled out his long sword and looked at it lovingly. "With this sword, I will only fight in Mary Geoise." he decided.
"There it is!" Robin called suddenly, "I'm sure it's a Poneglyph! Are you done here? Let's move. Cien Fleur!" Robin leaped from the roof of the tall room.
"Wing!" A pair of wings burst from her shoulder blades to soften her landing, and disappeared as soon as she touched the ground.
"You have wings?!" King's mouth opened in amazement.
"Just for a few seconds." Robin apologized. "I wish I could hold them longer."
"You have wings..." King repeated in shock, staring at her eagerly.
"Robin..." Absently, he sheathed his sword again, and fell to his knees, gathering her in his arms and bringing her closer to kiss her lips. "You're so beautiful... you are simply... perfect..."
