In the Blanchard Loft, David, Mary Margaret, Emma, Henry, the Professor, and Clara entered. When Regina saw Henry, she smiled. "Oh, Henry!" she said, running over and hugging her. It had been ages since she last saw him.

"Mom!" Henry said into the hug before a loud rumbling and shaking rattled the apartment. Everyone lost their balance before it subsided.

"Was that ..." Clara began to ask.

"Yes," Regina answered. "The diamond was activated."

"So, we're all gonna die?" Henry asked.

Regina turned to Henry. "You were born here. So you'll live."

Henry turned to the others. "But … I'll be alone."

The Professor shook his head. "No. You'll have my father and me. And Clara," he said. "I know it won't be the same, though."

Emma shook her head. "No. It's not going to happen. I'm not going to let this happen. We are all going to survive." She turned to Regina. "You did this. Now make it stop."

"I can't. There's no way," Regina stated.

"Well, figure it out. It's your fault," Emma said.

"Stop!" Henry said. "I already lost my dad. I don't want to lose anyone else. We have to work together."

"Out of the mouths of babes, I'd say the lad has a point," said a familiar voice. Everyone turned around and saw Hook enter the apartment. The Professor stepped closer and waved his hand. When he did, two cuffs appeared on Hook. One on his wrists. The other one was on his ankles.

David pulled his gun out. "Now, tell us why you're here before I use something."

"I think threatening to kill me is a bit redundant," Hook said, "when we're all about to die anyway."

"No thanks to you," Emma said bitterly.

"We all know you were working with Tamara and Greg to get your revenge," the Professor said. "Tell me, is this worth it?"

"Not if I have to die to get it."

"We don't have time for this," Emma said. "We have a real problem."

"Which is why I'm here," Hook said. "Because staring death in the face has made me realise, if there's one thing I want more than my revenge, it's my life. I don't know why I'm tied up, though."

"Can't have you escaping like the last time," the Professor said, thinking back to New York.

Hook sighed. "Can we stop this thing now and then resume bickering?"

The Professor glared at him. "Fine." He waved his hand again, uncuffing the pirate. "But no funny business," he warned.

"Exactly what the dwarf told me earlier."

Regina stepped forward. "There is no stopping it. Now, the best thing I can do is slow it down, but that will only delay the inevitable."

"Or give us the time we need," David said. "The time for what?" Mary Margaret said.

"Steal back the beans. Use them to get everyone back into the Enchanted Forest before Storybrooke is gone."

"How?" Emma asked. "We don't even know where Greg and Tamara are."

"Well, I do," Hook said. "I can help."

"Help yourself, you mean," Emma said. "You'll take them and leave us all behind. Why should we trust you?"

"No. We won't have to," David said. "I'll go with him. If he tried anything, I'd shoot him in the face."

"Everyone's quite hostile today, aren't we?" Hook said.

"We're just making sure that we're clear with you."

"I'll take Regina to slow down the diamond and give you guys time. Mary Margaret, you take Henry, gather everyone, and make sure everyone is ready to go."

Everyone nodded and turned to go when Regina stopped Henry. "Henry. Before you go, I'm sorry for what happened. I tried to be the person you wanted me to be, and I failed. But I won't let you be alone. You know that I love you."

"I love you, too," Henry said before he and Regina hugged each other.

David and Hook arrived at the docks to find Greg emptying a file into a fire barrel outside his car and trailer. Then, throwing the empty file in the trailer, he went back inside the building.

"They're in there," Hook said, getting out of David's Ute.

David followed. "Let's go."

There was another rumbling from the diamond. "Time's running out," Hook said before running towards the building.

"Oh, is that what that means?" David asked sarcastically and followed Hook.

Inside, they moved along some narrow corridors. "So, tell me, Hook, if all this time it's been about revenge for you, why is it suddenly so important that you survive?" David asked. "I know what I'm fighting for, my family. What are you fighting for?"

"Myself," Hook answered. "It's plenty of motivation, I can assure you. Finally, the two men came across an empty room. "Quiet," Hook instructed in a whisper.

David cocked his gun and moved forward. They saw a figure move, and David leapt out. "The beans," he told Greg. "Give them to me."

Greg slowly lowered the cases onto the floor and then moved a hand into his coat pocket. "You mean these?" he asked, holding up a small container full of magic beans. But what they did know was that Tamara was behind them – also with a gun. She fired her weapon first, and David jumped out of the way - narrowly missing the bullet as it whizzed past his arm.

Tamara ran away, and David followed her. On the other hand, Hook jumped after Greg, and he dropped the beans. The glass jar shattered as the two fought—both of them after the magic beans.

Meanwhile, Tamara was running away when she tripped and fell. Her gun slid away, and when she got up, David was standing behind her – aiming his gun at her. But Greg had broken free and pushed David out of the way. He dropped his weapon.

Tamara was going to pick it up, but Greg pulled her along. "No, come on, we got what we need," he told his partner. And both ran off together.

David slowly got up and picked up his gun. He was going to run after them, but Hook stopped him. "What are you doing? They've got the beans!"

"Not all of them. I snagged one," Hook said and pocketed the bean. "Where's the rest?"

"Who cares? All we need is one."

David was going to run after them again, but Hook stopped him. He pulled him back. "Hey! Live to fight another day, mate."

David let go of Hook's grip. "I'm not your mate," he told him and grabbed the leather pouch that had the bean in it.
