Meanwhile, Emma and Regina were walking through the tunnels to the diamond itself. "I can feel it. It's like it's sucking the oxygen out of the air," Emma said.

"Not the oxygen. The magic," Regina corrected her as both rounded a corner. "There it is. Once it stops glowing, its destruction is achieved. And then, well, we'll see the real carnage." Both approached the humming diamond, with both pairs of eyes fixated on it. "I'll try to contain its energy as long as possible."

"It won't be long. They'll have the bean soon," Emma said. "Then we can get the hell out of here." "Slowing the device. It's going to require all the strength I have."

"You're not going with us, are you? So when you said goodbye to Henry, you were saying goodbye."

"He knows I love him, doesn't he?"

"Regina, no. There has to be another way."

"You were right, you know. Everything that's happening, it's my fault. I created this device. It's only fitting that it takes my life."

"What am I supposed to tell Henry?"

"Tell him that it wasn't too late for me to do the right thing in the end." A sad smile. From a once evil Queen. She didn't want to be evil anymore. She wanted to be the perfect mother for Henry. Maybe now, with her sacrifice, she could at least let Henry remember it by. The person that he wanted her to be.

"Regina, please ..."

"Everyone looks at me as the Evil Queen, including my son. Let me die as Regina." Regina took a deep breath and placed her hands on either side of the diamond, which then began to pour light – magic – into the diamond while Emma told the others what had happened and what Regina had decided to do.

Entering the diner, David waved the leather satchel in his hand. "We have the bean," he said, to which everyone exclaimed happily.

Emma closed the door after Hook and went to her father. "You did it?"

"Yeah," David said with a nod.

Emma noticed a cut on David's arm. "You okay?" "Oh, it's a scrape. it's fine."

"Okay, let's get going. Henry?" She turned to look for her son. Henry approached. "Where's my mom?"

"Regina can hold off the self-destruct device long enough for us to escape. But ..."

"But what?"

Emma took a glance at her mother. "She won't survive. Everyone was silent; then Henry shook his head. "No. No!" "Henry, I'm sorry. I promised her I'd get you to safety."

"But we can't do this. She's family. We don't leave family behind."

"I know, but this is what she wants. We have a way out. We have to take it."

"We saved her from being killed by the Wraith! How is this any different?" Mary Margaret looked at Henry. "The Wraith."

Emma looked at her mother. "What?"

"We sent it through a portal. Why can't we do the same with the self-destruct?"

The Doctor stepped forward. "I have a better idea," he said. "Instead of sending it through a portal, how about sending it through a black hole? We just need something to put it in while I take it out to deep space."

"Leave that to me," the Professor said with a nod.

The Doctor took his son, Clara, Emma, Mary Margaret, David, and Henry aboard the TARDIS and took them to the tunnels where Regina was with the diamond. Hearing the TARDIS materialise, she looked up and watched it begin to appear. When the Doctor, the Professor, Clara, Mary Margaret, Emma, David, and Henry all walked out of the wooden, blue doors, she looked up. "What are you doing here?" Regina asked.

"You were willing to die to save us," Henry said. "That makes you a hero. And now we're going to be the heroes."

The Professor nodded as he walked up to the diamond and encased it in a small forcefield, which made the light stop pouring into it from Regina. Once the forcefield covered it, the Professor led it towards the TARDIS.

"The Doctor and the Professor, they're gonna throw this thing into a black hole," David said.

"Will it work?" Regina asked.

"Of course, it will work. Have faith," the Doctor said.

"If it doesn't, then we have a bean. And we'll use it to take everyone back to the Enchanted Forest," David said. He opened the leather pouch, only to find the bean gone. "It's gone," he said. "Hook. He must have taken it when we weren't looking."

"Well, then. We need to make sure that this works," the Professor said as he and the Doctor boarded the TARDIS. But they weren't the only ones who entered. Clara did too. "Clara?" He asked, turning around. "You were supposed to stay behind."

"Well, I couldn't just leave you," Clara said. "And, besides, I need you to help me make my future."

"Well, alright," the Professor said reluctantly before going over to the console, and the two Time Lords started the

engines. But as they did, the TARDIS began to shake and shudder, and the cloister bell began to toll.

"What's happening?" Clara asked.

"The diamond," the Doctor said above the noise as sparks sparked out from the console. "It's pulling us through time."

"Where in time?"

"Back," the Professor said. "Back through the TARDIS's history. Something we're not supposed to do."

The TARDIS continued to shudder and shake till it came to a complete stop. "Where are we?" Clara asked.

The Doctor went to the doors, followed by the Professor - with the diamond - and Clara. He opened the doors, which revealed them to be in orbit around a massive, burning star.

"What star is this?" Clara asked.

"No idea," the Professor said as the diamond broke free of the forcefield and raced to the star. "But the diamond seems attracted to it."

They watched it fly towards the star until it merged. And once the star and diamond joined, it let out a bright purple light-emitting, turning the star into a supernova on the verge of a black hole. But the light shockwave didn't just travel in space. It travelled through time too.

"Of course," the Doctor muttered. "It's the Eye of Harmony..."

"It is?" The Professor asked.

"Yeah. And any moment now, Rassilon and Omega will come to harvest it," the Doctor said, closing the doors.

"So, we're all done?" Clara asked.

"Yes," the Professor said. "Now, where did you want to go to make your future?"

"The Maitland House. I need to hand in my resignation. I know where I want to be. But, as I said, I want to travel. I think Storybrooke and you guys will do that for me."
