Author's Note: Hellooooo! How're you guys doing? I'm doing great! So as I said in the last chapter of "One From Many" I'm taking a break from that story in order to focus on a story that recently popped into my head. That story is this one! Though unlike in the update, I made a few changes due to my inspiration being that of my hometown, Kodiak City, and Alaska in general. So before we begin I need to explain a few things.

Using the general rules of Horikoshi's naming themes, similar to that of Izuku, my self-insert of, Traves Omar Medina, will have a naming theme that barely matches his quirk and personality. Traves means Traverse, and, as you will see, the Quirk Laws of Japan prevent him from using his quirk to utilize his preferred means of travel. Omar means either "Long-lived" or "Eloquent" which you will see me utilize both in both my writing style and Traves's personality quirk. Finally, there is his last name, which is the Spanish variant of the Arabic word for "City" in which is a reference to the kinds of places he would like to work and live in.

Next is his Hero Name, which I have changed to "The Midnight Sun Hero: Alignak". My reason being is the way I wrote the word Storm Front. Put together, Storm Front, is the name of a Neo-Nazi group that I dont want to have any Association with, even if it's by coincidence! My autistic brain and sense of justice won't allow it. But anyway, as you can guess, Midnight Sun is a reference to the nickname of Alaska, "The Land of the Midnight Sun", however, the name "Alignak"' has some special meaning. You guys might not know this, but my personal hero is my Stepfather, Moses Malutin Jr. He came into my family's life when we needed a Hero and he helped save my mother, sister, and I from an abusive stepfather. Not to mention his joking nature, kindness, and compassion saved me from becoming the man I hate most. So he is my hero, and I want my character to pay respect to that. Unfortunately, there is so little recovered information on Alutiiq culture that there is barely anything found online, so I had to resort to another Alaskan Native culture to find inspiration, and I found two Gods from Inuit Culture that spoke to me, but the one that fit the bill best was Alignak, the Inuit Lunar God of theWeather, Tides, Eclipses, and Earthquakes. I also found that the Southern Alaskan Natives hold the Thunderbird as a Sacred Beast, so you guys can now guess what is inspiring my character's costume. Finally, for the color scheme for the hero suit, that should be obvious, I'm having it that Alignak's costume will be based off of Navy Blue and Metallic Gold.

Anyway, there are other things I planned for this story, the two big ones being that of getting rid of Minoru Mineta and Neito Monoma, and giving Inasa Yoarashi a better rival that convinces him to stay to be the 5th Recommendation Student, with my character being a rare Foreign Exchange Student, or FES, who was given enough recommendations to take said exam. Two more things I want to mention before we begin is that I am having it that Traves is Izuku's American Version, where Traves is trained by the #1 Hero of America, Star and Stripe. However, Traves would be trained to avoid having him suffer the same fate as Nine, with his "godlike" quirk turning him into a monster, and giving him a sense of duty and honor to keep his darker impulses in check. The second thing is influenced by my beloved Girlfriend, Wolfflight of ShadowClan. For context, I wanted to pair my character with a canonical character that was close to what she is as a person, and when she asked which of the girls in 1-A and 1-B, I gave her a choice of Momo Yaoyorozu, Ochako Uraraka, Mina Ashido, and Toru Hagakure from 1-A, as well as Pony Tsunotori and Setsuna Tokage from 1-B. I gave her my thoughts for how each of them fit her, especially Toru and Setsuna, and she chose Setsuna because of her Quirk and how it just gave her all sorts of ideas for her evil plans. So we're going with Setsuna for Traves's love interest, and since she is based on Buggy the Clown from One Piece, I have an arsenal of ideas I could use for her! So thanks Ana, I love you!

Anyway, that is enough out of me! Please be sure to Follow, Favorite, Review, and Share this story! Catch ya on the Flipside! May the Light of Alignak guide you safely home!

Prologue:

Peterson's Elementary School, Kodiak City, Kodiak Alaska

There is rain pouring down from the sky as kids in Peterson Elementary School are crying due to the fact they can't go outside to play. However, a single kid sits alone, but sees the other kids crying, and he looks at them, confused as to their tears. He can't understand why they are crying, but he doesn't like what he is seeing, and so, he opens the door to the outside, in which the teachers look in shock and try to call him back inside. The boy then looks around the playground, his mind calculating the area and brings his arms out in front of him, and slowly pulls them apart, the light of the sun peeking through as the children watch in wonder, seeing the sky clearing out.

To the shock of the teachers, they see this boy clear out the playground of rain clouds, and the children cheer as they rush out to play, all of them thanking him. Passing by this spot is someone nobody expected to actually to see her, a Hero in a red, white, and blue costume, the recently promoted #1 Hero of America: Star and Stripe! The Hero enters the playground, becoming surrounded by the children, and she greets all of them and walks to the boy. "Hey little boy, what's your name?"

"Traves Omar Medina…" the boy says, and Star and Stripe recognize some of the symptoms from the way he is moving, his rather neutral face, and his robotic sounding voice, an autistic.

"Nice to meet you! I'm the #1 Hero: Star and Stripe!" She says, smiling at the boy. "That was an amazing display there, Kid! What's your quirk?"

"Quirk?" Traves asks, confused.

"Your superpower!" Star and Stripe says, smiling.

"I can control weather conditions within an area around me… I can also generate them within that space." Traves says. "But I start coughing a lot if I switch weather conditions too fast."

"Oh my!" She says, smiling. "Well you have a really strong quirk, with a lot of potential behind it!" The #1 Hero of America says, smiling. "I would like to speak with your parents about training you!" This causes a look of surprise on the boy, much more than should be normal for a boy his age. Again, she chalks it up to his autism, but she sees the shock turn to excitement, which somewhat scares the other children, whilst others are just jealous, and rightly so.

Some hours pass and sitting in the room with a little girl following close behind her are Traves's mother, sister. "Thank you for coming today, Mrs. Malutin! Hello, little Nakita!" The Teacher says to the little girl.

"Hello!" Nakita says, smiling big, then she notices her big brother. "Travy!" She says, giggling as DeAnn Malutin sets her daughter down and she rushes to her brother, who opens his arms and hugs her. His smiling is faint, but his sister can see it, and she smiles bigger than he does.

"Is Traves in trouble?"

"No, far from it! Though I have to ask, did you know about your son's Quirk?" The Teacher asks.

"Yes, I did, and I kept it silent until now for good reason!" DeAnn says. "His Quirk is extremely limited, but extremely powerful, and anyone who sees it will either treat him as a god or as a demon, and I don't want either idea to get into his head!"

"Aren't you stunting his abilities?" The Teacher asks.

"Oh no I'm not, in fact, I make sure he has the mastery of his quirk he has now, but I wanted him to live life as a normal person first." DeAnn says, "His stepfather, Moses, God bless his heart, is very understanding and has been teaching him different philosophies to help shape him so that he doesn't let his power go to his head. I don't want him to become like his biological father, Francisco, who used his quirk to con and steal from people."

"That is reasonable!" A new voice comes out from behind a bookshelf. "Perhaps I can help?" Star and Stripe makes herself known, and Nakita is bouncing for joy.

"Th-the #1 Hero: Star and Stripe!" DeAnn says, shocked. "Wh-What are you doing here!?"

"Oh I'm actually on Vacation for Crab Fest, and I happened to be passing by when I found a certain little boy who chased the rain away to stop the tears of crying children who wanted to play!" Star and Stripe says. "Your boy may be autistic, but he has got a really big heart! Tell me, where is he on the Spectrum?"

"On the more Mild End of the Spectrum, Asperger's Syndrome." DeAnn says, getting over her shock. "Why?"

"I knew it…" Star and Stripe breathes a sigh of relief. "Anyway, we called you here so I could ask if I could train your son after Crab Fest!"

"Huh?" DeAnn asks, shocked.

"My superiors have stationed me here for the next 7 years at least, saying that I need time away from the big cities, and honestly, I am starting to like the idea. Besides, I've been given housing on the base, so I am relatively close by!" Star and Stripe says, to which DeAnn looks at her son, and sees a look in his eyes she hasn't seen in a while, and then she sighs and smirks.

"What do you say, Traves?"

"I've never asked for much, mom… but…" Traves steels his nerves, "Please? I want to train with her, and I want to go to UA in Japan when I turn 14!" DeAnn looks at her son and smiles as she nods, giving her son her blessing, to which Traves sheds tears of joy and hugs his mother with a big smile on his face. Star and Stripe smiles as she looks at her new apprentice, loving the smile on his face.

7 years later…

The past 7 years training with Star and Stripe were rough but worth it. She put him through top grade military training, and despite how it nearly broke him at times, but he wouldn't trade it for anything. Thanks to her training, he managed to discover that his original maximum area of effect was the size of the average school playground for a student body of his school's 300 students; 40,000 square feet. After the 7 years he spent training under her, he was now safely able to add the entirety of Baranof Recreational Park to his maximum total, having him sitting pretty on a grand total of 800,000 square feet. This means that, thanks to Star and Stripe, his powers had actually become 20 times stronger than they were when they first met, and that was just with what time she could spare to teach him!

(A/N: I don't know the Square Footage of Peterson Elementary's Playground, but it has an average student body of about 300 students, and the minimum play lot for a student body that size, according to a 2011 PDF by 21st Century Schools, is about 43,600 square feet, but for the sake of maximum impact, i'm going to lowball it a little. Not to mention that playground is part of the Baranof Park Recreation Center, which contains a Relay Track (157,100 sq ft), a Football Field (60,000 sq ft), a Skatepark (Minimum of 8,000 sq ft, to a max of 18,000), an Ice Rink (17,000 sq ft), and a Baseball Field (105,000 sq ft) are, literally, right next door, and it is shared by the schools and the city. So when it comes to the final calculations, since I don't know all the dimensions of Baranof Skatepark, I'm going to high ball it just to make it look good!)

Now, Traves was riding the train to UA Highschool, thanks to Star and Stripe training him, and his grades being near the top of his class, he got chosen for the Recommendation Exams at UA. Despite this, Traves wanted to take the regular entrance exam, not feeling all that special, aside from his training, but who was he to argue, since the Recommendation was that of a Race, and Traves was confident that if Quirks were allowed, then he'd definitely leave the competition in a dust devil. He looks at Japan with wide eyes, smiling as he looks at everything, smirking as he looks around at everything. This place was different from what he was used to in his small fishing city, much more cramped, louder, and, worst of all, the air was fouler. This was why he preferred a small city like Kodiak, and was personally annoyed when the Quirk Laws of Japan prevented him from being able to actually fly so he could commute to school. It's the reason why he had to take on the stereotype of most autistics, and put a pair of bulky headphones on to cut out most of the noise so that he could focus his sense of hearing.

Yeah when it comes to Traves, only three of his five senses are hypersensitive, his sense of hearing, his sense of sight, and his sense of smell. He knows this and to try and minimize this, he has purchased headphones that have some sound dampening tech in them, transitions lenses in his glasses to cut down on the brightness of the sun, and has learned how to adjust to certain scents faster than most, though there are a good number that send him into a coughing fit. Speaking of his cough, Traves has grown up with people making fun of his chronic cough, often saying he "has to stop smoking" or other things along those lines, it has pissed him off more than once, and the very same number of times, he was tempted to zap the bastards with a lightning bolt and be done with it. Still, Star and Stripe taught him better than that.

It takes him several minutes, but, eventually, he is standing in front of UA High School, and thanks to a brochure given to him, he finds his way to the Written Portion of the Recommendation Exams, which, to him, is a breeze, no pun intended, though he snickers at the thought. "Oh?" A voice calls, a highly energetic one. "Is there something funny?"

"Oh nothing, it's just I thought the written exam was… A breeze!" Traves snickers and snorts. The jar-headed giant looks at Traves with confusion.

"Wait… A Breeze… Do you have a quirk that controls the wind too?"

"Not just the wind, I can control the weather itself!" Traves says, "Sorry, I didn't intend the pun, but it was just too funny!" He calms down after some chuckling, and the boy laughs with him.

"You're right! That was too good to pass up!" The young man says, "Yoarashi Inasa! Nice to meet ya!"

"Traves Med-!" Traves begins but stops himself, forgetting how the Japanese introduce themselves, "Medina Traves! A pleasure to meet you too!" Inasa looks at the stopping and then it clicks.

"Are you a Foreign Exchange Student?" Inasa asks.

"Yeah, I'm a Fes, though from what I heard, people like me don't usually get to take recommendation exams."

"Oh Really? Where are you from, and how'd you get your Recommendation!"

"Alright Listeners, go with your groups and prepare for the Practical!"

"Oh! Looks like we'll have to catch up after the race!" Inasa says.

"Hey… Yoarashi! How about we make a bit of a wager?"

"Wager?" Inasa asks.

"Since we're in the same group for the practical, and since it's a race, loser buys lunch after this?" Traves says.

"You're on Medina!" Inasa says, smiling as the two shake on it, and the two line up at the starting line.

"Alright listeners, with the Written Exam done, it's time for the Practical!" Present Mic says, "Use your Quirks to get to the finish line as fast as possible!"

"Remember, Yoarashi, lose pays for lunch!"

"Right!"

"Ready? GO!" Present Mic shouts, in which the alarm is sent out, and both students charge off in bursts of air that sends several of the participants flying backwards, the two of them moving as fast as possible with large gusts of wind flowing behind them. Inasa's style of flight has him charging in at hurricane force to reach the goal, whilst Traves is moving at a similar speed, but is using the drafting air of Inasa's whirlwinds to empower his flight. It means he is lagging behind by a slight margin, but he smiles as he saves his strength for the final push. The two of them look each other in the eye, a passionate and competitive fire burning in their hearts, but Yoarashi can see there is also a toxic sneer on his lips, showing the Whirlwind Quirk User how competitive his rival airbender is. However that is when Traves sees the finish line and decides to give it everything he has for the win.

'Win or Lose, if my gut is right, we're going to have the top two fastest times in this exam, so give it everything I've got and hope for the best!' Traves thinks, gritting his teeth and pushing his wind as fast as he can. "CYCLONE EFFECT!" With this, the winds erupt from Traves's back like wings made out of tornadoes and he is sent flying forward, with Inasa's passion igniting further as the two of them reach the finish line.

"IT'S A DRAW!" Present Mic shouts, 'Gck! And these two finished 3 minutes faster than most students on an average year!'

"Hey it's a tie, so who buys lunch?" Inasa asks, excitedly, to which Traves flips a coin in the air, a golden dollar, catches it and slams it against the back of his hand.

"Heads or Tails?"

"Hmmm… Heads!" Inasa says, to which Traves removes his hand and reveals it is indeed heads. "Awesome! I won!"

"Meh!" Traves says, shrugging.

"Also, where did you get that golden coin?"

"It's a 2020 Golden Dollar! My dad has a habit of collecting rare coins, and I just so happened to find this one lying on the street, so we cleaned it up, and it's been a lucky charm of mine for years now! In fact, the very day I found it, got chosen by the #1 Hero of America, Star and Stripe, to be her apprentice! I was seven years old!"

"WHAAAAT!?" Inasa shouts, excited. "You got trained by America's #1!?"

"Yeah, since age 7!" Traves says, smiling big, "Star and Stripe was like a second mother to me for the years I knew her, and it was thanks to her militaristic training that I got to where I am with my Quirk. Now, when I'm home in America, I can fly wherever i want on Kodiak, and the Heavens are under my control!"

"Amazing!" Inasa says, "So anyway, let's get the interviews done and go grab some lunch!"

"Agreed, Yoarashi!" Traves says, smiling as they go through the interviews, which are, fortunately, short and sweet. However, as they exit, some guys were surrounding a woman with green hair, and she looks like she was about done with their flirting and nonsense. Deciding it was the right thing to do, he walks over. "Hey sis! I've been looking everywhere for you!" He then gives the guys a look as his hair sparks with electricity. "Are these guys bothering you?"

"No, bro… In fact, they were just saying goodbye… Right?" She asks, looking at the teens who were harassing her. They look into Traves's eyes, which glow with lightning as he glares at them.

"Really… Then let me ask you this before you go… Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning?" The sound of thunder booming near the grounds is heard all over the school, and everyone is terrified. "Same thing that happens to everything else…" The group of harassers run as fast as they can, screaming in terror as Traves makes a mudra with his hands and breathes. "Well, that takes care of that!"

"Hey, not to sound ungrateful, but I could've taken care of that myself!" The young woman says, "Still, thanks anyway."

"Meh, no problem!" Traves says, tapping her shoulder with his hand. "Later!" He flies off in a burst of wind to catch up with Inasa, just before the young woman can get a chance to actually ask for his name.

'A cold frigid wind that smells of the sea… Raven black hair shaped like wings… Eyes as warm and dark as freshly melted chocolate…' She thinks as she sees him fly off, and smirks, 'I know I'll see you again… Stormcrow…' She soon leaves and smirks as she looks back at the boy flying off, 'I wonder how he will react to the costume I have in mind…?' There were few things that Tokage Setsuna was unsure of, but one of the things she was sure of is when she saw the potential for a future husband, she knew what she wanted out of them, and that guy just hit a majority of the checkmarks right off the bat. Ferocity, the ability to tell a white lie in order to make a point, and the fact he was willing to get himself into potential trouble to help others all struck a chord in her, and the Lizardy woman just knew what this did to her. 'Breathe, Setsuna, breath… Don't let your instincts get ahead of you… Wait until you meet him again first.'

"Yo!" Inasa says, "What took you so long?"

"Had to help a woman in trouble with a few punks!"

"Oh so that was why i heard thunder! You were scaring them off, weren't you?" Traves nods at Inasa, and then they notice a boy with red and white hair, to which Inasa notices the cold, hateful eyes of his, and Inasa feels a bit put off by him. "That's Endeavor's Son…!"

"Endeavor?" Traves asks.

"The #2 of Japan…" Inasa says, "He's one of the best heroes out there, but he's also one of the least passionate people I've seen, his eyes are filled with nothing but cold, cold hate in them. He is one of the heroes I don't recognize…" Traves looks at him and then sees the scar on the boy's face.

"Wait a second… That scar…" Traves says, "Did Endeavor burn him?"

"Huh?" Inasa asks, stunned, looking at Traves. "What do you mean?"

"Well it was part of my training, but my master had taught me about the signs of abuse for crime fighting, as well as how to recognize scars and injuries…" Traves explains, "She even taught me how to use first-aid with my quirk." He looks back to the half-and-half child, "I can't tell from this distance, but that looks like a burn scar of some kind, but I can't tell if it was done by fire or boiling water."

"You think Endeavor abused him?" Inasa asks, "Thats so cruel and dispassionate that it makes me sick."

"Yeah, and I think that hate in his eyes is aimed at the one who abused him, and something else related to it." Traves explains, "Again it's a theory without any proof, but based on what you explained and what little I know, it seems to fit."

"What are we going to do?"

"For now, we do nothing, however, we do our best to try and get information out of him, and work with his outbursts and his rage until we get the truth out of him. Once we do, we can move on to the next step." Traves explains. "Anyway, let's go get lunch… I'm starving!" Inasa nods solemnly, but internally, he is promising himself to ignite Todoroki's passionate flames and melt his heart of ice.

Three days before school starts…

Traves smiles as he moves into his dorm room, having finished unpacking the last of his stuff with a smile, and decides to go to the roof, looking up to the clear cloudless sky. "Such a fine wind today…" Traves says, smiling as he walks to the edge with a smile, in which he doesn't notice the others students coming towards the dorm with Principal Nezu, which all of them look up with shock in their eyes, save for Nezu. Traves steps back a few feet then jumps, turning on some music as he launches himself into the air… The song "Into Free" by B'z. He smiles and laughs as he falls for several feet before taking off into the sky, the winds spiraling around him. Not far behind him, Inasa catches up, and Traves smirks as the two of them begin flying down towards the ground, chasing each other with a smile as the use their Quirks to Parkour around the school, both smiling as they have become fast friends.

Unfortunately, just as they are about to take off into the sky again, they feel their quirks shut off and both crash to the ground. Apparently one of the teachers doesn't like them using their quirks in such a way, and he shut them off with an angry glare on his face. The two of them are brought before the dorms of Class 1-A with both of them standing whilst holding up two buckets of water and balancing a third on their heads, "This is what I get from wanting to fly and not asking permission…" Traves says as he stands there.

"Hey, don't be discouraged, I broke the rules too in order to match your passion for freedom!" Inasa says, "So we're both, appropriately, in trouble!"

"As you can see here, these two morons decided to break the rules to not only give the rest of you undeserved heart attacks, as well as use their quirks illegally since they thought they could do so while on school grounds." The teacher says, looking exhausted whilst dressed entirely in black, save for the wraps around his neck.

"What were you two thinking?" The other teacher says, dressed in red with white hair and an underbite with fangs. "Even if you have more leeway here, you should've asked for permission before going on an early morning flight like that and scaring the daylights out of your fellow students!"

"Sir, We're so sorry, sir! It won't happen again, sir!" Inasa and Traves shout dutifully, as if they were soldiers. The two teachers look at Traves and Inasa, and both sigh.

"Keep your word and we can schedule times where you two can have a limited amount of time to fly on school grounds before curfew! Understood?" The Red garbed teacher says.

"Sir, thank you, sir!" The two boys say, to which the teacher in black pinches his nose and walks off, that is when the rat-bear-dog (man-bear-pig!), makes his presence known.

"Well at least you two got this out of the way before school started, so you won't repeat this mistake again! And with your backgrounds, I know you two will not break your word, even if you wanted to!" The Principal says, "I will allow you to end your punishment early if you cook dinner for your classes tonight!"

"Sir, thank you, sir!" The two boys say, "We will gladly cook dinner for our classes tonight, sir!"

"Very well, then at the top of the hour, you may end your punishment and join both of your classes outside for some introductions!"

"Sir, yes, sir!" The boys say. It honestly doesn't take much longer for the punishment to end, and as the students gather, outside for dinner, Traves discusses with Inasa what they should cook, and after that scare earlier, comfort food seems like the best idea right now, but since he isn't sure about any Japanese Recipes, he knows one very simple but also very quick and easy comfort food he can make, provided Inasa is willing to cut up a lot of garlic and onions.

"Oh now that sounds like a plan! What do you have in mind?"

"A Classic in my household, one that I crave more than once every month, due to how comforting and salty it is. There is also a side project that goes into it that I need you to take care of once I start focusing on the main dish… Think of this dish as a poor man's ramen, only with much fewer ingredients, shorter cooking time, and just as comforting!" Traves explains, "It's called Chicken Adobo… There are also Pork and Beef variants… I can also use Rice and noodles as a side dish, but the major thing that needs to be there as a second side-dish that my mother rarely makes are her signature eggrolls…"

"Alright, I think I can help with all of that!" Inasa says, to which Traves nods and the two of them walk towards the students. "Alright everyone! We've got a nice and easy meal for you tonight, full of comfort, and salt if you're up for something salty tonight! Chef, would you like to explain what we are cooking tonight?"

"Of course!" Traves explains, "We are cooking for you tonight a very simple and delicious meal known as Adobo, we will have chicken, pork, and beef variants for you to choose from! We will also have a choice of Traditional, or Medina Household Variants for you to choose from! The broth is a carefully balanced mix of Soy Sauce, Water, and Vinegar, with the diced onions and garlic, with the traditional variant calling for the addition of Bay Leaves, Black Peppercorns, with an option of bullion for the meats." Traves explains, "You will also have the option to choose between Rice, Udon, Soba, or Ramen Noodles, and finally, the crescendo will be a pair of homemade eggrolls in my family's style." he then brings out black cards, "So please, take a card and mark it in the style you wish, we shall begin preparing the ingredients immediately!"

It takes them an hour to prepare the ingredients, including the 9 broth variants, the meats that are boiled in the salty broths, as well as the 5 side-dishes. As everyone watches, they are shocked at how well the two of them work together, and even Shoto Todoroki is stunned at how they seem to work as if they can read each other's thoughts. The truth of the matter is, that the two of them are using a form of communication that allows them to whisper to each other on the wind, so Inasa can follow his instructions to the letter, whilst Traves guides him to what needs to be tended to next, and switch places with Inasa. Thankfully, Traves knows that the only need to occasionally stir the broths on high, so they can focus on the noodles, rice, and the eggrolls. It takes them a bit, but when they are done, Traves lays out the servings of noodles and rice in ramen bowls, with a ladeling, or two, of sauce with meat on top, and placing two eggrolls resting on top.

When the students dig into their meal, everyone is shocked at how salty it is, but it's not an overwhelming saltiness, it just hits the spot, and there flavors of onions and garlic, along with those who chose to have the bayleaf and peppercorns, and even more so with the extra bullion. For Setsuna, with her choice of the Medina-Style with ramen noodles and the eggrolls, it was like something that was clawing at the back of her mind was chased away. It was pure comfort, the saltiness reminded her of a ramen broth, only saltier, with the acidity of onions and the savoriness of the garlic bringing comfort, and the tenderness of the chicken after it had been boiled in the broth… It was so tender that she barely needed to put any pressure into her bites to get good tasty chunks. But more than that, looking at her classmates, and the members of the other class, all of them sharing a meal together, it was like something in her had found it's home.

For Shoto, who ordered his adobo with Cold Soba, he hadn't expected Yoarashi to actually do as he asked, but what he said as he handed him his plate… "Here Todoroki…" Yoarashi said, "I don't know why you have such cold hateful eyes, but maybe this will help you forget what is causing you pain, if only for a little while…" Why did he say that, and what did he know? Questions for later… Shoto ordered his food Cold Soba style, in which Traves had taken the time to let Inasa show him how Cold Soba is served, and he even put the pieces of meat and eggrolls aside in a separate dish for the plating. He had ordered the traditional chicken broth, and with it, the extra bullion, wanting to taste this for himself in the traditional style. He can tell the noodles have been chilled to perfection, and in such a short amount of time, he had seen his classmate use his quirk with his left hand to chill the soba to the proper temperature, whilst seeing him use his right hand to heat all the pots and pans… Did he have a similar quirk to his? Had his parents been in a quirk marriage? If so, why was he smiling and laughing? Doesn't matter…

He tastes the broth on the noodles, and, much to his shock, Inasa's assumption had been right… The broth was incredibly salty, but more than that, the flavors of the bay leaf, peppercorns, garlic, and Onion had created a taste that seem to cause him to forget what was bothering him at the moment. Wait, what was he thinking about? Doesn't matter, this tastes so good! Continuing to eat in the traditional style, there was broth set aside in a small bowl for dipping the eggrolls and the chicken pieces into, and it just exploded in his mouth. The Eggrolls are not fried, but only slightly to have a slight charring on the wrappers, but the inside is delicious, filled with cabbage, lettuce, carrots, and pieces of cooked meat fried in soy sauce, particularly, this one is filled with chicken, and it's so tender he can't think straight.

However, for all the students, all good things must come to an end, and after a second helping, everyone is full, but shockingly, they all see Traves is already on his tenth bowl, in which everyone is shocked as to how he could eat so much. Soon, all the food is packed and everyone gets a final serving packed into lunch boxes for tomorrow, whilst Traves packs what leftovers are left all for himself. "How can you eat so much!?" Inasa asks, shocked.

"A combination of having a bottomless pit for a stomach, and my antipsychotics just making it worse…" Traves explains, "I have to take my medicine every day or else the person you see before you is replaced with a far more aggressive, easily agitated, and anxious version of myself. My medicines were dirt cheap back home, but one of the drawbacks is increased weight gain and hunger inducement. Among other things…" Traves finishes his last bowl, "Though the reason I can stay so thin is due to my quirk." He looks at Todoroki, "I'm sure you all noticed earlier me flying through the air, and I'm sure Todoroki noticed that I was able to generate heat and cold…! Well I can also generate lightning, clouds, rain, and snow, and manipulate them to my will. To do that in a localized area, such as my hands for instance…" He then generates sparks of electricity in his hands, "I utilize fat cells in my body to generate the necessary energy to manipulate the weather in such localized areas. However, it takes up a lot of…" He then goes into a coughing fit, bending over as he does so, Inasa catching him before he falls over.

"Medina! Are you alright!?"

"Yeah… I'm fine, just one of the downsides of my quirk…" Traves says, standing up… "My lungs are sensitive to the changes of temperature and humidity in the atmosphere… Utilizing my Heat and Cold Manipulation while were cooking generated a perfectly balanced zone of temperature and humidity that I didn't need to worry about it, but generating lightning, that increased the localized area's temperature, causing the humidity to rise sharply… Thus, a coughing fit…"

"Amazing!" Izuku says, and starts going into one of his famous mumbling tirades, in which Traves just chuckles at it, seeing how he starts to pick apart his quirk like it's nothing. "Uh… S-Sorry!"

"No it's okay, I've never seen anybody dissect my quirk as well as I could, so I'm honestly surprised and impressed. "Anyway, as I was trying to explain, my Quirk allows me to generate a Personal Area, an Area of Effect where the Weather inside is under my complete control, where I am the Eye of the Storm. To do this I need to create a general area of, at most…" He does the math in his head, "Of about 75,000 square meters… Give or take a few hundred meters…" This causes everyone to look at him in shock, "Once I do this I expend energy in my body in the form of fat cells to generate the weather effects I desire, and I can thus manipulate them as long as they remain within my Area of Effect. However, as I just said, it requires me to expend energy in the form of fat cells, and rapidly changing the weather conditions creates an imbalance of humidity and temperature where it makes it hard for me to breathe, sending me into coughing fits."

"That's great and all, but do you usually ramble about your Quirk like this?" The Teacher in black asks.

"Did I?" Traves asks, eyes bugging out. "Shit…!"

"Language!" Tenya Iida says.

"Sorry, my autistic nature makes it impossible for me to stop rambling unless somebody stops me, or until I realize it on my own, which is hard to do enough already." Traves explains, sighing.

"Well I think it's kind of cute!" Setsuna says, giggling with a smile on her face. "Anyway, want some help carrying those up to your place?" She then splits her body apart to pick up a dish with each one."

"I'd appreciate it!" Traves says, a breeze flowing past him and he gently extends his quirk to manipulate it to take the remaining dishes and lift them into the air, before joining them himself. "Oh and a rule amongst my family… "The Cook Don't Clean", so you guys got the dishes!"

Name: Traves Medina

Name Meaning: "Traverse" and "City"

Hero Name: The Midnight Sun Hero: Alignak

Quirk: Weather

Quirk Type: Emitter

Quirk Description: This Quirk allows the user to generate an area of effect (that is centered on and moves with him) where the Weather within is under his personal control, allowing him to generate his desired weather conditions and manipulate them to his will. He can also rapidly change the Weather Conditions to different conditions that fit the situation. The conditions he can create are that of Intense Heat and Cold, Sunlight, Clouds (including Fog and Mist), Precipitation (Such as Rain, Snow, and Hail), Lightning, and powerful windstorms. However this comes with a drawback with him having to utilize fat cells to create the necessary energy to generate and change the weather conditions rapidly, and the drastic changes in temperature and humidity sends Traves into vicious coughing fits that leave him vulnerable for several seconds, leaving him vulnerable to an opponent who is either fast enough to bypass his weather conditions or smart enough to play him into his quirk's own weaknesses. Overusing his quirk will cause him to cough up blood, and pushing himself too far will lead to permanent damage to his lungs.
