Some men have died,

and some are alive

Others sail on the sea

and others sail on the sea

with the keys to the cage

and the Devil to pay

We lay to Fiddler's Green

The bell has been raised

from its watery grave

Hear its sepulchral tone

A call to all

Pay heed the squall

We are a call to all, pay head the squall

Turn your sails to home

and turn your sail toward home!

Narcissa and Elizabeth rowed a small boat through the waters of Singapore. They reached the bank still singing.

Yo, ho,

haul together,

Hoist the colors high

Heave-ho

- Thieve...

"Thief and beggar. Never say we die." Two dark haired men stepped out of the shadows.

"A dangerous song to be singing...for any who are ignorant of its meaning. Particularly for women," said the first man.

"Particularly for women alone..." The second added leering at Narcissa and Elizabeth as he pulled out a knife. Narcissa's hand drifted towards her sword but luckily a familiar voice spoke from behind the men.

"What makes you think they are alone?" Narcissa smirked as the men turned to see her father who cut quite the intimidating figure in his large feathered hat.

"You protect them?" the leader asked.

"What makes you think we need protection?" said Elizabeth who within seconds had a knife at the leader's throat. While impressed by her sister's speed Narcissa winced. A fight was a bad idea if they wanted Sao Feng's help.

Her father appeared to be of the same mind as he said,

"Your master is expecting usand an unexpected death would cast a slight pall on our meeting."

"You are Captain Barbossa?" asked the leader.

"Aye, that be my daughter Narcissa and the lady with the knife is Elizabeth Swann. Sao Feng has promised us safe passage."

"For as long as it suits him," corrected the leader before gesturing for them to follow. Singapore was full of East India Trading Company agents and they had to enter through a large sewer pipe.

"I thought this was a pirate port?" said Narcissa.

"It appears Sao Feng has some agreement with the EITC," replied her father.

"Oh that's encouraging," muttered Narcissa sarcastically. As they headed towards a decrepit old bath house Elizabeth whispered.

"Have we heard anything from Will?"

"I trust young Turner to acquire the charts and you two to remember your place in the presence of Captain Sao Feng by showing a bit more difference than is your custom," said Captain Barbossa shooting both women pointed looks.

"I think I've been a bad influence," chuckled Narcissa.

"He's that terrifying?" asked Elizabeth.

"He's much like myself but absent my merciful nature and sense of fair play." Narcissa snorted at this remark.

"Did you get a new personality as well as a resurrection?" her father simply rolled his eyes in response. They reached the door and were stopped by two guards.

"No weapons. Remove them please," having expected this they removed their scabbards and pistols. Yet were stopped when they tried to move forward.

"You think we would not suspect them simply because they are women?" asked one man.

"Well, when you put it that way..." said Narcissa's father trailing off.

"Nice to know pirates are all for equality," quipped Narcissa as she and Elizabeth removed their coats which held several concealed weapons. Elizabeth also pulled out some nives and a few small bombs from seemingly nowhere leaving Narcissa and her father slightly shocked.

They tried for a third time but Narcissa and Elizabeth were once again stopped. The leader leered at them.

"Remove please," he said, holding out two short robes. Narcissa opened her mouth and Elizabeth looked indignant.

"I'd advise ye against that," growled her father his voice dangerous as he fixed the leader with a glare. The leader and his men backed away slightly under Captain Barbossa's stare and finally the man in charge said,

"Your daughter may pass but the other must obey." Narcissa, her father, and Elizabeth shared a glance. They didn't have time for a fight just yet.

"Fine," scowled Elizabeth and she changed into the robe the men provided. As the three of them at last moved forward into the bath house. Elizabeth muttered.

"For once I envy you having a notorious pirate as a parent."

They walked through the bathhouse full of leering pirates in tubs, some of whom had barnacles and fungi growing off them, to the very back where a tall, thin, asian man with his arms spread out was standing with his back to him surrounded by steam and two scantily clad assistants. He turned around and she saw he was dressed in Chinese armor. The man was bald but had several scars on his head and a black mustache and beard. This was Sao Feng Pirate Lord of the South China Sea.

Narcissa's father bowed and swiftly gestured with his hand for Elizabeth and Narcissa to do the same.

"Captain Barbossa, welcome to Singapore. And I see you've brought your charming daughter."

Narcissa was fairly certain given the step closer her father took to her so that he was slightly in front of her, that in any other situation, had a man called her "charming" he would have found himself dead as a doornail. As it was her father simply forced a smile.

"I understand you have a request to make of me," said Sao Feng.

"More of a proposal to put to ye," replied her father. I've a venture underway and I find myself in need of a ship and a crew."

"Hmm. It is an odd coincidence," said Sao Feng considering them and scratching his head with his talon-like nails.

"Because you happen to have a ship and a grew you don't need?" said Elizabeth hopefully.

"No. Because earlier this day, not far from here, a thief broke into my most revered uncle's temple and tried to make off with these. The navigational charts. The route to the Farthest Gate. Wouldn't it be amazing if this venture of yours took you to the world beyond this one?" said Sao Feng. Narcissa's heart dropped but she kept a cool face as did her father.

"It would strain credulity at that," he told the Chinese pirate lord. Sao Feng gestured to two of his men and suddenly Will was pulled up out of one of the tanks, his arms tied to a plank of wood. Narcissa groaned inside. So much for plan A.

"This is the thief. Is his face familiar to you?" The three of them shook their heads attempting to maintain a picture of innocence.

"Then I suppose he has no further need of it," Sao Feng told them taking out a large wooden stake and moving to stab Will.

"No!" said Narcissa and Elizabeth together. Sao Feng looked both angry and triumphant.

"So, you come into MY city and betray MY hospitality..."

"Sao Feng, I assure you, I had no idea..." began Narcissa's father in an attempt to do damage control, but Sao Feng interrupted him.

"That he would get CAUGHT! You intend to attempt the voyage to Davy Jones' Locker. But I cannot help but wonder... Why?" Narcissa's father sighed and tossed a golden medallion (though thankfully not cursed) towards Sao Feng who caught it and raised it to his ear.

"The song has been sung. The time is upon us. We must convene the Brethren Court. As one of the nine pirate lords, you must honor the call," said Narcissa's father calmly.

"More steam." demanded Sao Feng none came and he called again more angrily. "More steam!" A jet of steam erupted from below and Sao Feng breathed it in before turning back to them.

"There is a price on all our heads." he said.

"Aye." agreed Captain Barbossa "It is true." Narcissa had to admire her father's negotiating skills. He hadn't lost his temper or shown his true feelings once.

"It seems the only way a pirate can turn a profit anymore...is by betraying other pirates." said Sao Feng thoughtfully. This thought rankled Narcissa. Backstabbing each other was one thing, you kind of had to expect it as a pirate, but to do it with people like Beckett was just wrong.

"We must put our differences aside." said Captain Barbossa smoothly. "The First Brethren Court gave us rule of the seas. But now that rule is being challenged by Lord Cutler Beckett."

"Against The East India Trading Company, what value is the Brethren Court? What can any of us do?" said Sao Feng.

"You can fight!" said Elizabeth sharply. Narcissa's father tried to hold the blond back but she shook him away. "Get off me! You are Sao Feng, the pirate lord of Singapore. You command in an age of piracy where bold captains sail free waters. Where waves aren't measured in feet, but as increments of fear, and those who pass the test become legend." Sao Feng didn't yet seem moved so Narcissa stepped forward as well despite the slightly exasperated look from her father.

"Would you have that era come to an end on your watch? The most notorious pirates from around the world are uniting against our enemy, and yet you sit here cowering in your bathwater!"

Narcissa wasn't sure what to expect as a reaction and wondered if she had gone too far. Sao feng circled her and Elizabeth.

"Elizabeth Swann and Narcissa Barbossa. There is more to you than meets the eye. And the eye does not go wanting." Narcissa held back a shudder at the lustful gaze Sao Feng gave them.

"But I cannot help but notice you have failed to answer my question. What is it you seek in Davy Jones' Locker?"

"Jack Sparrow, he's one of the pirate lords," replied Will and Narcissa cringed as the room went silent. Will really needed to learn to keep his trap shut. If things hadn't already gone to pot they were certainly headed that way.

"The only reason...I would want Jack Sparrow returned from the land of the dead...is so I can send him back myself!" yelled Sao Feng.

"Jack Sparrow holds one of the nine pieces of eight. He failed to pass it along to a successor before he died. So we must go and get him back." Explained Narcissa's father.

"You admit...you have deceived me!" snarled Sao Feng

"Weapons!" he called and all the men in the room pulled weapons from the bath water.

"Sao Feng, I assure you, our intentions are strictly honorable..." began Captain Barbossa when as planed six swords shot up through the floorboards. Narcissa, her father, and Elizabeth caught them and Narcissa smirked at Sao Feng who swiftly grabbed a nearby man and held a knife to his throat.

"Drop your weapons or I kill the man!" The three shared a confused glance.

"Kill him. He's not our man," said her father with a shrug.

"If he's not with you, and he's not with us...who's he with?" asked Will. Suddenly the wall of the bath house broke down and EITC soldiers swarmed in. They were thrown into battle and Narcissa wasn't entirely sure who she was fighting. All she could do was slash and stab anybody who came after her.

Elizabeth was holding her own much to Narcissa's pride. Narcissa glanced over at her father who was grinning clearly glad to be back in the action. Just as a group of soldiers made formation to open fire on Captain Barbossa, Sao Feng, and the two women an explosion came from the floorboards and Ragetti, Marty, Pintel, Gibbs and the other remaining members of the Pearl's crew came running out firing in every direction.

The fight carried out into the street and soon they were dodging between stalls and knocking over barrels. She found herself face to face with Mercer.

"Mr. Mercer," she said blocking his slash.

"Miss Barbossa," he said distastefully. "Lord Beckett was most displeased you declined his offer. It's still open you know."

"Well, you can tell him to I'm still disinclined to acquiesce to his request," replied Narcissa knocking over a bunch of apples to trip up Mercer who stumbled. She moved in for the kill but they were separated by an explosion. She glanced over and saw Jack the monkey, wearing a pointed rice paddy hat, screeching next to cotton's parrot. They had caused the explosion.

"Thank ye Jack!" she called at the same time as her father who was on a bridge across from them. Will came racing around the corner followed by several of Sao Feng's men and carrying the navigational charts.

Narcissa and her father met Will at the bottom of the bridge.

"You've got the charts?" asked her father.

"Better yet a ship and a crew," said Will.

"What about Sao Feng?" asked Narcissa skeptically.

"He'll cover our escape and meet us at shipwreck cove," explained Will. Before they could question him, further shots rang out from behind them.

"I think we can continue this once we're out of bullet range," said Narcissa dryly as they ducked.

"Aye, lead the way lad," said her father. Will nodded and charged ahead leading them to a ship.

Author's Note: And here's chapter 1! The Barbossa's are back together so of course there's gonna be trouble! In answer to Guest on I planned to do the first 3. I don't remember much about 4 so I'm not sure if I would do that one although I am potentially considering doing movie five given the Carina reveal. It'll kind of depend on how much of a response I get. So to everyone please like and COMMENT. Let me know if you want to see any of the other movies and I'll consider it. Until next week.
