Narcissa and Elizabeth were brought to Sao Feng's ship and her sister was given more Chinese pirate clothing. Narcissa was not afforded the same curtesy though it mattered little to her. As the blond changed Elizabeth and Narcissa had a hurried conversation.

"What is it with pirates giving me a change of clothes?" commented Elizabeth.

"To be fair father was just offering you an option that wasn't a nightgown." Elizabeth tilted her head in agreement.

"Any idea of how we're going to get out of here? I mean as soon as they find out I'm not Calypso we're dead."

"Well, they are still going to shipwreck cove with the other pirates so hopefully we can escape when we get there and figure out some way to get Sao Feng off our backs," answered Narcissa.

Before Elizabeth could say anything else Sao Feng entered the room.

"By this time tomorrow, we will arrive at Shipwreck Cove and you will be free. Calypso."

"Excuse me?" said Elizabeth clearly still getting used to being addressed by the false name. Luckily Sao Feng didn't notice the difference.

"Not a name you fancy, I imagine, out of the many that you have...but it is what we call you.

"We being who?"

"Pirates as a whole," explained Narcissa and Sao Feng inclined his head.

"Indeed Miss Barbossa is correct. But you confirm it."

"Confirm what? You've told me nothing," said Elizabeth as Sao Feng advanced on them. Narcissa adjusted the knife she always kept up her sleeve ready to interfere if Sao Feng went too far.

"The Brethren Court, not I. The First Brethren Court, whose decision I would have opposed. They bound you to human form so the rule of the seas would belong to man and not..."

"To me," finished Elizabeth slipping into her role.

"But one such as you should never be anything less than what you are. Either of you in fact."

"Pretty speech from a captor," commented Narcissa hoping to draw attention off of her sister but to no avail. It seemed that while Sao Feng might have found her attractive in Singapore the combination of Elizabeth's beauty and supposed power as Calypso was more appealing.

"But words whispered through prison bars lose their charm," Elizabeth pointed out.

"Can I be blamed for my efforts? All men are drawn to the sea, perilous though it may be. And some men offer desire as justification for their crimes."

"Or they're just honest about their less than pure motives," said Narcissa once again ignored.

"I offer simply my desire," Sao Feng was now dangerously close to Elizabeth who asked.

"And in return?"

"I would have your gifts, should you choose to give them." Narcissa could see her sister's revulsion matched her own.

"And if I should choose not?" said Elizabeth swiftly. Sao Feng gave a cruel smile.

"Then I will take...your fury." He lunged at Elizabeth pressing his mouth to hers. As Elizabeth struggled Narcissa drove her hidden knife into Sao Feng's side. The surprise of the blow allowed Elizabeth to shove the man back.

He stumbled into the table looking furious. Sao Feng opened his mouth to say something only for a cannonball to suddenly rip through the side of the ship sending chunks of wood everywhere. Narcissa threw herself in front of Elizabeth pushing her back and hopefully out of harms way.

As the smoke cleared they heard a groan. Sao Feng lay with a good sized portion of wood impaled in his side. He gestured for them to come forward and any indecision was thrown out the window by another jerk that sent them to his side.

With difficulty Sao Feng reached to the pendant around his neck and ripped it off. He held it out to Narcissa.

"With all nine pieces...she shall be free."

"I'll do it," she assured Sao Feng.

"Good. You are the Captain now."

"Me?" asked Narcissa in surprise

"Go in my place to Shipwreck Cove and set Calypso free," he ordered before turning to Elizabeth.

"Forgive me...Calypso." Then his body went limp. There were footsteps on the stairs and Elizabeth and Narcissa turned to see the first mate.

"Captain the ship has been taken!" his eyes widened as he saw his dead Captain.

"What did he tell you?"

"He made me Captain," said Narcissa standing up and holding her head high and placing the pendant around her neck with the Aztec Medallion.

Before the man could answer they were swamped by EITC soldiers. Who dragged them on to the Dutchman with the rest of the Chinese crew.

"Out of the frying pan and into the fire," muttered Narcissa. They were met by a shockingly familiar if unwelcome face. James Norrington.

"Elizabeth!" he exclaimed not bothering to notice Narcissa.

"James," said Elizabeth.

"Well if it isn't James traitorous bastard Norrington," said Narcissa as the man turned to her.

"Miss Davis,"

"Remembered I'm here?" snapped Narcissa. James turned back to Elizabeth.

"Thank God, you're alive. Your father will be overjoyed to know you're safe, both of you," said Norrington.

"Our father's dead," said Elizabeth and confusion clouded Norrington's face.

"No, that can't be true. He returned to England."

"Did Lord Beckett tell you that?" scoffed Narcissa. Suddenly Mercer came up from behind. Narcissa was really getting to hate that man.

"Who among you do you name as captain?" he asked.

"Captain. Her." said the first mate.

"Her." agreed the rest of the crew. Narcissa wasn't sure if none of them wanted the consequences of being Captain or if they genuinely believed in her but didn't particularly care.

"Captain?" asked Norrington and Mercer looked as if all his birthdays had come at once.

"Tow the ship. Put the prisoners in the brig." he ordered

"Elizabeth and the captain shall have my quarters," ordered Norrington but Narcissa shook her head.

"Thank you, Borrington but I'd prefer to remain with my crew." Sticking with the crew would hopefully make escape easier and make a good impression on the crew.

"Elizabeth. Narcissa," said Norrington grabbing Elizabeth's arm. "I swear. I did not know."

"Know what?" asked Elizabeth with a glare. "Which side you chose?"

"Well, now you do," added Narcissa scornfully and they were led away to the brig. There in the wall almost a part of the coral and fungi that stuck to the ship was a man who resembled an older version of Will.

"Bootstrap? Bill Turner? " asked Elizabeth who had also clearly made the connection. The man chuckled.

"Bootstrap. You know my name."

"Yes, I know your son. Will Turner." A look of relief passed over the man's face and it occurred to Narcissa that this was the person her father had sentenced to death.

"William. He made it. He's alive. And now he sends you to tell me that he's coming to get me. God's wounds. He's on his way."

"Yes, Will is alive. And he wants to help you." said Narcissa. Bootstrap looked at her with sad eyes.

"He can't help me. He won't come."

"But you're his father." pointed out Narcissa jarred by the sudden mood change. She might not be pleased with Will but if he'd made a promise to his father she didn't see why HE wouldn't believe Will would keep it.

"I know you. He spoke of you. Both of you. He can't save me. He can't come because of you," he now seemed to be more addressing Elizabeth.

"Me?" asked Elizabeth looking a little hurt.

"You're Elizabeth."

"Yes, I'm Elizabeth," the blond confirmed.

"If Jones be slain, he who slays him must take his place. Captain... Forever. The Dutchman must always have a captain. And if he saves me...he loses you." This wasn't quite news to Narcissa as she recalled Weatherby saying something similar. It appeared that killing Jones wasn't as easy as Will believed. As with most things magical there was a catch.

"I see." said Elizabeth looking both sad and pensive.

"He won't pick me. I wouldn't pick me. Tell him not to come. Tell him to stay away. Tell him it's too late. I'm already a part of the ship...and the crew." His eyes became unfocused and Narcissa felt a brief tug of pity for the man. His determination to protect his son at the cost of his own pain reminded her very much of her own father who gave her up on more than one occasion.

"Bootstrap." she said hoping to continue the conversation.

"You know my name. You know my name."

"Yes, we know your son." she said but as she feared it seemed his brief moment of lucidity was gone.

"William. He's coming for me. Wait and see. You'll see. He promised." Bill closed his eyes and sunk back into the wall.

"Poor Will." said Elizabeth.

"Yes," agreed Narcissa. "But it doesn't justify him getting us into this mess with Beckett."

"I suppose not," sighed Elizabeth. Narcissa was just about to start trying to think up a plan when Norrington of all people came down to the brig.

"Come with me. Quickly," he said unlocking the door.

"What are you doing?" asked Elizabeth as Narcissa stepped out and gestured for the Chinese crew to follow. They obeyed without question.

"Choosing a side." Answered Norrington. They reached the deck and the crew began to shimmy down the rope and swim to the Chinese ship.

"Do not go to Shipwreck Cove. Beckett knows of the meeting of the Brethren. I fear there may be
a traitor among them." Norrinton told the women. Narcissa groan.

"Just what we need. Another traitor."

"It's too late to earn my forgiveness." said Elizabeth.

"Or mine," added Narcissa who was grateful to the man but could not help but resent his actions that had assisted Beckett.

"I had nothing to do with your father's death. But that does not absolve me of my other sins," Norrington answered.

"James, come with me," said Elizabeth. Narcissa felt slightly iffy about that decison but knew the man would be dead if he did't come. Suddenly Boostrap came around the corner.

"Who goes there?" he asked.

"Go. I will follow," said James though it didn't sound convincing.

"You're lying," said Elizabeth as Narcissa began to climb down.

"Our destinies have been entwined, Elizabeth...but never joined. Go, now." James told them and Narcissa pulled Elizabeth to join her. Her sister did so reluctantly. Just as they reached the water she heard someone call,

"All hands, prisoner escape!"

"Belay that!" came James's voice.

"James!" gasped Elizabeth.

"Don't let his sacrifice be for nothing!" said Narcissa and they swam towards the ship. The crew it seemed at just finished cutting the ship from the Dutchman as they came aboard.

"Your order's Captain?" asked the first mate.

"The same as your former Captain. To Shipwreck Cove. As fast as the wind can carry us," ordered Narcissa and they were off, the Dutchman fading into the background.

Author's note: Like I said this came out a lot fast than expected please comment and let me know your thoughts below it means a lot some asked who Narcissa was feeling betrayed by and it's Will because as I've tried to set up they were very close so him betraying her hits home. Someone also asked what happened to Myrtle and Victoria from the flashback. Myrtle ended up married to a nice shopkeeper and Victoria became a spinster governess. Karma folks! One final thing do you think by the end of the story Narcissa should keep her father's name or go by Davis to stand on her own so to speak?
