A/N: Hey folks, I am back again with a fic after long hiatus due to personal reasons. While I was nursing my depressed and burnt out mind back to activity, I have written a lot that I just didn't want to share with you all yet.
Now that I am up and running, it is only fitting to share these with you. I have two fics that I have written quite substantially. One is this and the other is also a Harry Potter fanfic but in First Wizarding War era. Hoping to hear your feedback.
Ummmm... what else? Ah, while I haven't touched Oddity or Lyra Black story yet, I may either continue with Oddity or rewrite it. As for Lyra Black fic, I haven't made up my mind yet.
Anyways, here is the fic... Just don't scold me too much in the comments eh! :)

Chapter 1 – Enter The Nutjob

"I think that's all of them, Kingsley's on duty. Hestia and Dedalus are on patrol. No one knows where Mundungus is, now we have to just wait for Dumbledore, Minerva, and Snape to come along," Mad-eye Moody stated as he limped into the kitchen.

Harry looked at the ex-auror, who had been their Defense Professor for the past year at Hogwarts, scratch that – who had spent the last school year locked up inside his own trunk with a frown. He could see Moody's magical eye revolving around madly in its socket. He felt a strange kinship with the ex-auror, after all, he knew all about being locked up.

Even now, after arriving at No.12 Grimmauld Place a week ago, he still felt like a prisoner. With each and every move of his being watched by the Weasleys and other Order members, he didn't feel much better than he was at the Dursleys. But, relatively, Grimmauld Place was much better than Privet Drive. After all, he still had Sirius and his friends here for the company.

The mere thought of Sirius brought warmth to his heart. While he was still mad at his friends for letting him stew in Privet Drive earlier in the summer without any information, he wouldn't be able to stay mad at them for longer considering how all of them were also deprived of information here similar to him. And he was never able to be mad at Sirius. In fact, their situation was so similar that it made him frown.

While he understood that it wasn't ideal for Sirius to leave considering that his identity as an Animagus was known to Voldemort's followers and his public criminal record in the wider world, he also sympathized with Sirius for being cooped up in a place he hated. It was eerily similar to his own situation in Privet Drive.

As he stewed in his thoughts, the age-old argument of the twins wanting to be let into the meeting occurred in the background. The shouting match they had with was making his head throb in pain. Nearby, Hermoine shook her head at their stubbornness and Ginny pouted at her mother. Ron was busy once more consuming the entire pudding.

This was the third meeting after he had arrived. The start of every meeting repeated the same old pattern of the twins arguing with their mother, and by now, he was beginning to think they were just arguing to drive their mother mad. As much as he would have liked to have sympathy for Mrs. Weasley, her recent actions had been grating on his nerves too.

She had been shadowing him much closer than anyone else in the house. Every time he and Sirius found some time to be together, she would come up with a chore for him to complete. Not to mention the argument between Sirius and Mrs. Weasley on the day of his arrival.

"What do you mean that there would be an extra person attending, lad?" Mad-eye Moody's growl interrupted his thoughts.

Harry looked up as the conversation around the table came to a stop all of a sudden. Mad-eye Moody was fixing Bill with a scowl of epic proportions that twisted his features further and made him look more vicious.

"My apologies, I only received the owl from Charlie this morning," Bill shrugged, "I didn't have time to inform you all."

"Does this person know how to get in here?" Remus queried.

"Charlie said he gave her the slip Dumbledore gave him to contact us," Bill replied looking around the table.

"How do you know we can trust this person?" Moody growled.

"Have no worry about that," Bill smiled in reply. "Charlie said she was a former member of the Order when it was around last time. He had been trying to contact her all this time ever since Dumbledore asked him to check if any foreign wizards were willing to join the Order."

"You are making no sense lad," Mad-eye snapped, "There weren't any foreign wizards in the Order last time."

"She isn't a foreigner. She is British. Charlie said she fought in the last war and was a member of the Order at that time. He said she hadn't been to Britain in years. But, one thing did stick out for me in his letter though," Bill pondered, "Charlie said that she wasn't keen on returning until he informed her that she might probably meet Harry here. She seemed to be awfully interested in Harry and immediately agreed, according to Charlie."

Everyone exchanged confused looks around the table, before turning towards him. Harry grimaced at the thought of yet again being showcased as if he was a zoo animal.

"Guess your reputation precedes you, Harry," Sirius smirked causing him to shoot him a glare.

"How can we trust this woman? Why does she seem interested in Potter?" Mad-eye growled.

"I don't know why she is interested in Harry, but Charlie assured me that she is completely trustworthy," Bill replied shaking his head.

"We shall see," Mad-eye growled as his magical eye started revolving even faster.

"Oh, what's her name?" Sirius asked playfully as he stretched while balancing his chair on its hind legs. "If she was around last time, I might have known her. It would be good to see some old faces."

"Yeah," Remus agreed wistfully.

"Evelyn Thorne," Bill replied as he arranged the parchment in front of him.

Bill's answer was met with a pin-drop silence before it was broken by Sirius falling out of his chair. As Tonks and the twins snickered at Sirius' predicament, Ron and Ginny snorted in amusement, Harry saw Hermoine's eyes narrow. He followed her eyesight and saw Remus looking pale. His eyes wandered towards Mad-eye, only to find him stiff. The look on Arthur and Mrs. Weasley wasn't anything good either.

He watched as the Weasley couple exchanged a troubled glance, before honing in on Sirius and Remus's reaction. The laughter around the table petered out as the grave atmosphere sank in amongst the younger ones present at the table. The silence lasted a moment before Remus broke it.

"Do you mean Evelyn Bloody Thorne is coming here?" Remus asked softly afraid as if Bill would say yes.

Bill took in the troubled expressions around the table for a moment, before nodding in answer.

"Bloody hell," Moody swore and started towards the fireplace as pandemonium broke amongst the adults.

"Boys, Ginny, Hermoine, get back to your rooms, Now!" Mrs. Weasley shouted hysterically at the younger ones at the table, which was met with vehement refusal by the twins.

"Dad, what happened?" Bill asked his father worriedly over the chaos, only to be ignored by Arthur as he shook his head.

"Not now boys, get back to your rooms now!" Arthur Weasley shouted at the twins causing everyone to stare at him in shock.

"Dumbledore! Get Minerva and come to the Headquarters now! Evelyn Thorne is on the way here," Mad-eye's shout from the fireplace came over the chaos causing everyone to jump, except for Harry.

All through the pandemonium, Harry's eyes were fixed on Remus and Sirius' pale forms. They both were stiff and seemed to be rooted in fear. He had never seen either of them in such a state in the entire time he had known them. Sirius was still gaping like a fish from the floor. Remus was looking into the distance as his hands trembled lightly.

Not even the twins seemed to be in a joking mood as the gravity of the adults' reaction to a single name seemed to settle on them. Harry watched woodenly as Mrs. Weasley began herding the younger members upstairs. He allowed himself to be herded alongside them as he was still confused about the reactions of the adults but didn't take his eyes off Remus or Sirius, who looked to be still in shock.

"Not you Potter. Stay!," Moody growled as he grabbed him by the arm and pulled him towards the kitchen.

"Moody," Mrs. Weasley began only to be cut off sharply by the ex-auror.

"Do you want to be in the room with an angry Thorne?" Moody all-but-screamed at her causing Mrs. Weasley to shut up like a wet chicken. "The only way to calm her is for her to see him."

"He's right, Molly. We all know how she reacted when someone prevented her from seeing Harry last time. I, for one, would like to keep her as calm as possible." Arthur's stern tone brooked no argument either.

"Tonks, go with the kids," Moody growled as he dragged Harry towards the chair he had just vacated. "Don't allow anyone to come down until I tell you, including you."

"I can take care of myself," Tonks responded rebelliously.

"Against Dark wizards, yes," Mad-eye snapped at her, "against an irate Thorne, no. Now, get going. Last I heard, she was hunting Nundus in Africa. How the hell did your brother manage to contact her boy?" Moody asked as he shoved Harry into his earlier seat.

Harry gulped and looked over to make eye contact with his friends who were watching from the first-floor landing. He saw equal parts of curiosity and fear etched on their faces. He would have given anything to be with them in safety now. Somehow, he could feel the tension in the air in the dining room. It almost looked as if they were all preparing for a fight.

He didn't know what to think about the bizarre situation. As his mind whirled with thoughts about what he had heard about this Evelyn Thorne until now, he couldn't help but feel apprehensive. The woman was coming for him. And the last time she wasn't given access to him, her reaction had probably been so bad that every adult in the room was afraid of her. And the fact that she was hunting Nundus, which were known to kill entire villages on their own, just made her even more terrifying. If that wasn't terrifying enough, he didn't know what would be.

"I don't know. Charlie said he had some difficulty in tracking her down but was able to do it at last. I guess he found her through some of his contacts in the reserves. If she was hunting Nundus, that's my best guess," Bill said apprehensively. "Will she be a problem?"

"Let's hope not boy," Moody growled. "The only one she listens to is Minerva. And if she gets angry or violent, none of us would stand a chance without Dumbledore in our corner. Snap out of it Black, Lupin,"

Sirius and Remus took deep breaths as they got their mind back in control. Despite that, Harry could see that Sirius still looked pale and Lupin was gripping his wand tighter. He wondered why both of them were so afraid of this woman. If she was in the Order, it would only prove beneficial to the fight against Voldemort.

"I almost pity those Death Eater bastards," Moody chuckled lightly. "They have no clue what's coming for them."

"Easy for you to say," Remus mumbled causing Harry to look at him questioningly.

"Moony," Sirius's soft voice interrupted Harry's question. "Does…. does… does she know that I am innocent?" Sirius almost whimpered causing Harry to snap back to him.

As he looked back at Remus, he saw him pale further as if it was possible.

"I think you better hide Padfoot," Remus hissed urgently causing Sirius to stare wide-eyed.

Sirius nodded vehemently and looked as if he was about to bolt. Just then the front door groaned before it was blasted open with an almighty bang. While they weren't blasted off their hinges, it was apparent to everyone that someone had blasted open the locks. The sound caused the portrait of Walburga Black to spring open and start shouting.

But, no one paid attention to her. All their focus was on the figure of the woman on the front step. The way she wobbled made her look like she was half-drunk. There was stagger to her steps as she came in. Her eyes squinted as she took in the room.

"Oh fuck!" Remus groaned.

"Merlin, the nutjob's here," Sirius whimpered.

In return, the woman's gaze sharpened. It looked as if her drunk demeanor vanished in an instant and Harry could feel the magic in her thrum in rage across the hallway as her gaze snapped on to Sirius' form.

"Black!" she honest-to-merlin growled as if a lion staring at its prey.

The next moment her wand was out and a green light raced towards the spot Sirius was there a split-second ago. It would have hit him square in his face if he hadn't ducked and rolled away.
