Truly a God Incarnate.
"There's no way, that's impossible!" Kayoco Ann-Paterson was left paralysed in her seat, horrified by the latest piece of news about Gojira; frankly, after what everyone around the world had been seeing since this incredible creature which had taken the world completely by surprise when it had first appeared, this was just a new example of how the creature was so impossible.
The creature which had appeared in Tokyo only a few days ago, as a shambling sea monster which crawled painfully across the city before it suddenly…stopped, and it stood up, its form changing and twisting before it reared up on two legs and roared in the air a sound that would likely frighten and make even the largest prehistoric carnivores' tremble, the creature which had returned to the depths of the sea and continued to evolve into a new form that made it seem like an armoured tank, had started to glow. After opening its mouth, Gojira had breathed fire, actual fire, reminding Kayoco of the fire-breathing dragons of legend, but even with that simple power Gojira just had to evolve. The fire which had already devastated Tokyo since the flames rushed through the city streets and junctions, and overwhelmed the structures of the buildings until they gave in, was transformed into purple energy.
The Geiger counters throughout the city, already ticking madly because of the amount of radioactivity from Gojira's body which confirmed Goro Maki's theories and facts on the rapid evolution of the creature, were now likely going into overdrive as they registered the sheer amount of radiation streaming out of Gojira's mouth. The beam of atomic energy had already destroyed an American stealth bomber, which was why the ambassador said it was impossible and there was no way it could occur, but because of the time she had spent working with the Japanese officials to try to help against Gojira, and go over Maki's work and research even though the scientist himself had vanished, Kayoco had begun to wonder just what else this incredible, destructive creature could do.
What worried her the most was it was far from being all over.
Gojira, from what she could understand, needed to expend vast amounts of energy before it began to change; it had happened before, it could happen again. But what worried her was what it would become next.
Author's note - Shin Godzilla is still one of the better modern Godzilla movies, going back to basics and twisting the whole of the mythos to further emphasise how Godzilla is a victim of nuclear energy.
