Bo and Luke cringed and exchanged glances, backing up a little.

"What the hell happened?" Luke asked.

"I think I went too fast," KITT replied, watching Rosco.

"Yeah, Cooter said y'all would be here in about a half-hour, it's been ten minutes," Bo argued.

"Yeah, about that, see, when Cooter sent me up here I thought it was urgent. It's not urgent, is it?"

"We're drivin' out to Savannah to try and track down the Acid Corporation and figure out where they've stashed General," Luke explained.

"Random question, ah, how fast were you goin'?" Bo asked.

"My fastest point was 198 miles an hour," KITT replied.

"Right, and you're okay with this?" Luke asked.

"Yes."

Rosco staggered away from the trash bins, still a bit queasy. He stumbled and Luke caught him by the arm, holding him up.

"Aw Jesus, you alright, Rosco?" he asked.

Rosco shook his head and rested his hands on his knees. "We broke the sound barrier."

"No we didn't!" KITT argued.

Bo laid a hand on KITT's hood. "Don't worry, KITT, he's just old, ain't used to goin' fast," Bo chuckled.

Rosco pushed himself up sluggishly. "Now you listen… here, I ain't that old I'm just outta practice!"

Bo laughed.

Rosco straightened himself, brushing off the front of his shirt and straightening his tie. "Alright, Cooter said we was goin' somewhere, now, where's that?"

"Savannah, there's a warehouse at the port we need to check out, we think General might be there," Luke explained.

"Alright, I'm ridin' in the truck. Luke, you drive, I don't wanna end up twenty feet in the air 'cause Bo decided he wanted to jump a bridge."

Rosco walked off towards the truck and the Duke boys exchanged glances. Bo smiled and shrugged and walked off as well.

Luke looked up at the sky, watching the clouds shift. "Lord, help me," he muttered.

The drive out to Savannah was a long one, it was noon by the time they got there. The cool temperatures blowing in from the ocean created a fog over the city. The thick haze created small droplets of water on the vehicles as the wet air condensated. The drive through the city went slow, the fog making it hard to see. So much for beautiful Savannah, they got creepy Savannah. They drove until the harbor was in sight, which was on the other side of the city from which they'd come.

Bo, Luke, and Rosco ditched the truck in an alley upon arriving at the harbor. KITT drove out onto the deserted street, scanning the area.

"Looks like we're clear," he said quietly.

The others nodded and followed him out into the street. The lamps above them flickered from years of use in the salty ocean spray. The fog seemingly only grew thicker as they ventured on. KITT's headlight panels flipped open, trying to allow light into the fog, however, the light only succeeded in reflecting off of it.

"Alright, Bo, what're we lookin' for?" Luke asked.

"Oh very funny," Bo shot back.

"No, seriously, what buildin'?"

"Should be a big one that says Acid Incorporated on the side in white letters."

"And a big white Hearse?"

"Yeah."

"Like that one?" KITT asked, pointing with his hood.

Through the haze a few yards ahead, the same Hearse that Rig had described sat in front of a chain-link fence.

They all exchanged glances.

"Ah, maybe if we don't move it won't see us," Rosco suggested.

"Maybe if you stop talkin' it won't hear us!" Bo argued in a low voice.

Just then, the Hearse flashed its lights, revving its engine.

"Hand over the Trans Am and you get your Charger back!" it rumbled loudly.

"I think it saw us," Rosco mumbled nervously.

"No shit?" Luke growled.

"I'll say it again, send KITT over before I come and take him from you!" the Hearse growled.

KITT stood, not saying anything, not moving. The red scanning light in his hood moved back and forth.

"Why should I? How do you know you'll keep your word?" KITT asked.

"The General Lee is useless to us, you're the one we want. And besides, we have Michael Knight, I know you've been dyin' to see him," the Hearse replied.

KITT revved his engine lurching forward. "Prove it, show him to me."

"I'm sorry, KITT, he's not here right now, he's at our home base. Don't worry, though, good hospitality there."

KITT shifted on his suspension, a gesture of confliction, yet he didn't respond.

"He's lyin' KITT, don't listen to him," Luke said.

KITT's scanner started moving faster. He sighed. "You're right, General's not here, I'm not getting anything," KITT whispered.

"They must've moved him," Bo replied.

"Either way, they knew we were comin' and this's a trap, we gotta get outta here fast," Luke explained.

Just then, a band of police officers appeared behind them, drawing their guns. The Hearse rolled forward, arcs of electricity passing through his frame. The four of them backed up towards the guardrail, KITT's back bumper hitting it. Rosco looked over his shoulder down into the dark waters slapping against the jagged rocks sticking up on the shore. He swallowed hard and took a few steps away from the guardrail.

"Dirty cops," Luke spat.

KITT glanced at the Hearse, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Where's Thunder when you need him?"

The cops continued to close in, as did the Hearse, cornering them. KITT revved his engine, pulling forward towards the Hearse. It jumped back, having been caught off guard. He tried to push KITT with his tire, but KITT didn't budge. He hit him in his windshield, however, the Hearse's blows had no effect on KITT.

As KITT charged forward after the Hearse, the police officers came after Bo, Luke, and Rosco.

"Now look here, I am an officer of the law and this might not be my jurisdiction, but y'all are gonna be in big trouble once your commissioner finds out about this!" Rosco growled.

The police officers exchanged glances all sneering at each other. One of them took aim with his gun and fired, just in time for Luke to pull Rosco out of the way as the bullet ricocheted off of the guardrail behind him. Luke pushed him onto the ground where KITT had been.

"If you ain't gonna fight, stay down!" Luke ordered.

Bo caught the arm of one of the cops as he tried to hit him. He drove his fist into his stomach, pushing him off to the side. Another one came at him from behind, wrapping an arm around his neck. Bo grabbed the man's arm, trying to get him to let go.

Just then, Luke ran back into the action, kicking the cop in the back of the knee. His leg buckled and he let go. Bo stumbled forward, clutching his throat as he tried to catch his breath. Luke gave him a pat on the back before turning and locking into a fight with another police officer.

It wasn't long before Bo caught hands with another cop as well. As they all fought, the ground that they'd gained in their initial attacks was quickly lost as they were being pushed farther back towards the guardrail. Bo and Luke were outnumbered, and KITT was outmatched, as whenever he attempted a maneuver, the Hearse was always one step ahead of him.

Finally, they were cornered again, just as they were before. Bo and Luke exchanged glances. Luke caught the baton of one of the men, manipulating the end of it and clocking him in the face with it.

"Alright, what now?" Bo asked.

"That's a good question I ain't got the time for right now," Luke growled, punching a police officer in the stomach and forcing him back.

Just then, a shot rang out among them as Rosco stood and fired his pistol at the cops. However, he didn't hit anything, still being a horrible shot as ever. The Hearse growled, charging up and sending sparks of electricity KITT's way. With no way to dodge them, KITT braced himself for impact. They hit him, clear, plastic-like plates flew off of him as it did, leaving a blotchy scorch mark on his fender. However, the high voltage left him stunned and reeling backwards into the guardrail, into Bo, Luke, and Rosco. They tried to jump out of the way but were dragged down with KITT as he broke through the guardrail, his two left tires slipping over the edge of the port.

They each yelled KITT's name, trying to get him to snap out of it, but the Cyborg was barely conscious. As KITT's front end slipped over the edge, they all knew there was no going back at this point.

One by one they each crashed into the ocean below, disappearing into the dark, frothy waters of the harbor.
