― A blind angel falls in love with the most fearful devil ―

WRATH

"My dear Aisha… where did you get such imperfections…?" the blind angel's mother asked in a voice filled with nothing but worry. She gently caressed Aisha's soft skin and came to a quick halt at the sight of sharp scars near her fingers. She also noticed that Aisha gained similar scars on her ankles as well.

"It's nothing mother. It does not hurt," Aisha quickly spoke. It did not matter. She did not dare to say― for such words would anger her mother and she would quickly assume that Aisha was lying. However, it was not a lie. The scars on her fingertips and her ankles that were caused by sharp thorns near the gate to hell really did not matter, to Aisha at least.

"Aisha, you need to tell me where you got these scars from, sweetie," her mother said in a gentle voice yet Aisha could sense a hint of annoyance mixed within.

"Nothing, mother," Aisha replied firmly, also getting annoyed at her mother's continuous question.

"Aisha! Listen to me!" her mother screeched, her voice filled with complete anger at this point.

"I said it's nothing!" Aisha screamed back, wrath had quickly built up inside of her and bursted into madness. Aisha quickly stood up and stumped away from her mother into the dark void. She had no idea where she was going, but her heart was telling her that she was heading in the right direction― hell.

At this point, she didn't even feel like she belonged in this place called heaven. She has never felt full happiness; she always felt like an outcast, being the only blind angel within the crowds. Angels are supposed to represent purity which is symbolized by the color white. Yet the only color she can see is black― complete darkness, so how could she be a symbolism to represent purity and cleanliness? She finally came up with a decision, that she will just enter hell and never return back home― no, she doesn't even want to call this place home anymore.

With absolutely nothing in sight, she dashed forward, hoping the thorny bushes would soon pierce through her soft skin. She felt it at that moment. The thorns of rose bushes that barriered the gate to hell. She was here. She felt the prickly bristles jabbing into her skin, creating a small pool of blood. Yet she did not mind the pain, she just wanted to see Elsword― right at this moment.

She placed her hand forward and the sound of door creaking echoed into her mind.

"Elsword!" she yelled out his name, and soon enough she heard his demonic wings flutter near her. He was here, in front of her.

"Aish..," his happy voice drifted apart, almost into a whisper. He let out a soft gasp.

"What's wrong, Elsword?" she asked in worry, wondering about what was happening around them. She was completely unaware of her surroundings. A huge mistake.

"Aisha, what is the meaning of this," her mother's voice echoed into her mind as Aisha let out a huge gasp.

Mother.

How could she make such an idiotic mistake? Whenever Aisha visited the gate that leads to hell, she always made sure that there was no one around her. She was always careful enough to stay quiet and put, so no one could hear her grunting through the pain of walking in prickles. Yet wrath has blinded her.

"Mother…?" Aisha asked cautiously, slowly turning her head toward the voice of her mother. Although the only thing she could see was pitch-blackness, Aisha could feel the anger arousing from her mother. Then the sound of her mother's feet thumping on the ground echoed into her ears.

"Mother, this is not what you thi―," before Aisha could even finish her sentence, her own mother has slapped her precious daughter with nothing but wrath.

"Aisha―!" from afar, Elsword yelled out Aisha with a worrying voice. But before he could even move an inch, Aisha's mother beamed a holy light that temporarily blinded the devil. Elsword winced in pain as he placed his bloody hands on his eyes.

"A cursed girl, a cursed daughter… you should never have been born!" Aisha's own mother screamed with fury, tears rolling down her eyes. "Your blindness is nothing but a mere curse, never a gift!"

Aisha couldn't do anything but gape in shock. The gentle whispers that her mother sang into her ears, stating that her blindness was a gift from God― those were all a lie.

And with those words, the devil felt fury― wrath building inside him as well.

"That's not true," he stated with a rather calm manner. "Her blindness is a gift, for if she was not blind, she could see how hideous of an angel you are, faking your innocence. The angel that's truly pure is Aisha, not you,"

The blind angel felt tears forming in the corners of her eyes. She could not believe that her own mother had pierced her heart with painful words, yet the devil quickly came in to heal those scars.

"What did you say, devil?" her mother asked, infuriated.

Before Elsword could even reply back, another footstep approached.

Ah―. Aisha knew whose footsteps these belonged to.

The archangel.

"Aisha, you have disappointed all of us with your terrible sins," the archangel spoke in a deep voice. "Lying to your mother, and seeking devil in your freetime,"

The blinded angel could not say a single words― because those were nothing but truth.

"Aisha," the archangel whispered her name once again, and for the last time.

"You have experienced heaven by being fallen in love, but you will experience hell as the fallen angel,"
