(Ruins of South park, many years into the future)
Snow fell from the Winter night sky. A young black-haired boy with ice blue eyes hid behind an old metal beam. The Boy's name was Stanley Marsh Jr.
He looked out from behind the beam and into the open.
The coast was clear...for now.
Stanley ran out into the open. He just had to make it to the woods, and he would be safe.
As he got closer to the woods, he felt the ground begin to shake.
"No. No, there is no way it could have made it's out this far west so quickly.
The shakes became more frequent until he knew it was there, right behind him. Stanley didn't even have to look behind his shoulder to know it was there, the Shrike.
A Gigantic skeletal robot that stood 500 feet tall. It looked down at Stanley like he was an ant that was unwelcome in its domain.
Stanley then heard its ear-splitting electronic voice: Wild human alert! Must capture and proselytize.
Stanley jr began to run faster as the Shrike's hand shot down at him.
Stanley jumped off the ground and gladly landed in a bush. The Dark haired boy sighed in relief.
He was safe for now; the shrike couldn't track anything once they were in the woods. That was its one weakness. Its sensors had been nearly destroyed years ago when some idiot had tried to take it down with a rocket launcher.
Stanley watched as the Shrike looked around for a few minutes before its attention was taken when it noticed a few fireworks had been shot out of the woods and towards the Ruins of Old South park.
Stanley then felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around and saw his best friend, Jacob Broflovski.
"Was that you who shot thos fireworks?" Stanley asked.
"I wish I could take credit, but I can't. Herman and Dani were the first to see you coming, and they could tell you needed a diversion. Come on; everyone is waiting for you."
As the two friends walked deeper into the woods. Jacob restarted their conversation.
"So, why did you go back into town anyway?" Jacob asked.
Stanley reached into his coat pocket and showed his friend what he had gone to great lengths to get.
Stanley showed his friend an old photo.
Jacob grabbed the picture and noticed two black-haired adults, a man, and a woman. In the man's arm was a baby with a tuft of black hair.
"Who are these people?"
"They're my parents, Stan and wendy."
"You went through all that just to get a photo?!"
"No...but the photo was my main reason for going there."
Stanley could tell his friend wasn't convinced.
"Jacob, I never knew my parents. They died shortly after I was born. I just thought that maybe if I knew what they looked like, it would fill the hole, you know."
Jacob nodded. He was one of the lucky kids whose parents were still alive. He couldn't imagine what his life would have been like if his parents Kyle and Bebe, had been killed by the shrike.
"Sorry...so what else did you go into town for?"
"I'll tell you once we're underground."
The two boys then found the secret entrance to New New South park. The original town had been sacked by Demons back when their parents had been kids, and then the shrike came along and destroyed New South Park, and now only New New South park remained as an underground colony.
As they went underground, Jacob noticed how careful his best friend was as he went down the ladder.
When they finally reached the bottom, Stanley grabbed his friend by the hand and led him away from the many crowds of adults and children.
"Where are we going?" Jacob whispered.
Stanley looked around to make sure no one was listening.
"Iv been helping Alfred with one of his special projects."
Jacob looked flabbergasted.
"Wait, you've been helping Alfred Tweak?! Why the hell would you do that?"
Stanley shrugged.
"He seems like an ok guy besides what he's making could change everything, Jacob."
"Stanley, im saying this to you because we're close friends. Alfred Tweak is fucking nuts. He's probably just making you get rocks that he thinks will help him communicate with Aliens."
"I haven't been getting rocks."
Stanley looked around again then whispered in Jacob's ear.
"Iv been helping Alfred construct a Time machine."
Jacob then rolled up his sleeves and looked at Stanley with a mix of anger and pity in his eyes.
"What are you doing?"
I'm going to kick Alfred's ass for making you crazy, then im going to kick your ass for listening to him."
"Hey, where are you guys going?"
Stanley and Jacob turned around and saw their friends Dani Tanner and Herman Cartman running up to them.
"So, did you get it, Stanley?" Dani asked.
"It didn't break when you jumped, did it?" Herman asked.
"Don't worry, and I kept it with me the whole time. I was just about to deliver it to Alfred right now."
Jacob looked back at Dani and Herman.
"Wait, you two knew about this time machine thing too?" Jacob asked.
"Well, of course, we knew about it. How do you think Herman and I knew to be waiting for the shrike right before it came here?" Dani said.
"You guys seriously think Alfred built a Time machine?"
Stanley then got out a golden-yellow canister.
"With this stuff, he will have," Stanley said.
Jacob sighed.
"If we go to see this, it better be real and not be part of some elaborate prank."
Stanley smiled then led the way to where Alfred's laboratory.
While the four boys were walking towards the lab, a tall man in a blackish-red cloak tried to get their attention.
"Hear my words, children. The shrike is not our enemy; it is our salvation. The gods sent the shrike to punish humanity for its sloth-like nature. Join us at the church of the everlasting."
Stanley angrily ripped the flyers out of the man's hands and threw them into a nearby puddle.
"The Shrike Murdered my parents! And not because of the will of some make-believe Gods you made up. It's because the shrike is a psychopathic killer that only freaks like you would worship!"
Stanley would have said more, but Jacob grabbed his friend and pulled him away.
"Forget about him. You know all these creeps say stuff like that to make people mad; they are no better than Seth Macfarlane." Jacob said.
"Jacob's right. Besides, if Alfred's time machine works, then we could save Stanley's parents and defeat the shrike before it kills off 85% of the human race."
"What are you guys gonna stop?"
Herman turned around and noticed five girls walking towards them.
The five girls were friends. Bertha Stoley, Theodora Thorne, Nancy Donovan, Claudia white, and Alfred's twin sister, Patty Tweak.
"W-what are you, girls, doing here?" Stanley asked.
Jacob raised an eyebrow as he heard his best friend talk like this. Stanley was usually Mr. Calm, but now he was acting nervous. He then noticed that Stanley Hadn't taken his eyes off of Patty Tweak. Now it made sense. Stanley had had a crush on Patty since Preschool.
"We're bored, so we decided to look around and see if there is anything fun to do around here, and lucky for us, we found you, boys." Bertha stoley said as she brushed aside her long bright red hair.
"So, what were you guys saying about a time machine?" Theadora Thorne asked.
"There is no time machine. Alfred is just lying to everyone." Jacob said.
"That doesn't sound like my brother. We should go with you guys."
"Ugh... i guess that's ok."
"We don't need your permission," Claudia said.
The group of children then continued their way, unaware that the red-robed man was watching them. He got out a walkie-talkie and began to speak.
"Gather our brothers and sisters. Several heathen children need to be taught a lesson."
(Alfred's Laboratory)
Stanley opened the Doors, and everyone else was amazed by what they saw.
"So Jacob, what was it you said about Alfred lying to us?" Dani said smugly.
"I still don't believe this is. I'm sure this is just part of some scam." Jacob replied.
"Ack! It's no scam."
Alfred Tweak then came out from behind a giant orange orb in the middle of the room; before addressing any of his visitors, he ran up to Stanley.
"Did you find it?" Alfred asked as he Twitched and jittered much like his father used to.
"Yep, got it right here," Stanley replied as he got out a canister and handed it to his friend.
"Perfect, this was the last thing I needed."
Alfred then ran back to his giant metal Orange and began to pour Amber liquid into a hole on the back. As soon as he finished, the orange started to light up.
"So, does this mean it'll work?" Dani asked.
"It should. I'll have to run a few tests, but if my calculations are correct and I'm sure they are, then it should be working just fine."
"Alfred, how long have you been building this?" Patty asked her Twin brother.
"Iv been making this for more than two years. I would have been done with it sooner, but since all that's available down here are scraps of metal we have to gather from the surface, that is why it took longer than possible."
"Why didn't you tell me about this?"
"Because you know that if anyone else down here knew what I was making, they would use it for there own devices. I made this thing for one reason, to go back in time and stop the shrike from being activated.
"So, how exactly are you gonna do that?" Claudia asked.
"I'll show you."
Alfred then gestured for everyone to follow him in. The only person who didn't was Dani.
"Dani, don't you wanna come in?" Herman asked.
"N-no, thanks. I'm pretty claustrophobic."
Herman shrugged.
"Dani, one quick thing. Don't touch that big yellow button on the wall; that's what would send us back into the past." Alfred said.
Dani noticed the Button then shrugged.
"I won't touch it."
Alfred rolled his eyes then began to show everyone else the inside.
"Before doing anything, one of us would have to set a specific date. So if we want to stop the shrike, we would go back to Friday, October 1st, 2021. Then I would-"
Alfred was interrupted when the door to his lab came down, and several robbed men and women ran into his lab with torches and machetes.
"Brother Hobart was right. These heathen children have committed Blasphemy. The Gods will punish us if we do not destroy it now!"
Several of the men and women began to destroy the laboratory.
One fat record man tried to get into the orange, but Alfred closed the door quickly.
Before Dani could do anything, short women brought out a club and began to beat him severely over the head!
Bertha and Herman watched from Inside the time machine, powerless to stop it.
"Dani!" Bertha shouted from inside the Orange.
Before the women could deliver the death blow, Dani used the last bit of strength he had to bring his arm down on the yellow button a second before the final blow was delivered!
The orange then disappeared.
(New South park, October 1st, 2021 6:30 pm)
Stanley fell to the floor!
He opened his eyes to everyone else inside the time machine was, for the most part ok...except Dani. He didn't see Dani anywhere.
Stanley ran over to Herman and helped his friend get out from under a pile of debris.
"You ok, Herman?" Stanley asked.
Herman nodded.
"Ya...im ok, Stanley."
"Did you see what happened to Dani?"
Herman then looked down.
"Last I saw, he was being beaten to death by one of those cult freaks."
Stanley was silent for a moment. The only thing that brought him back to reality was Hearing Alfred struggle to get up.
"Can someone help?!"
Stanley, patty, Jacob, and Herman ran over to Alfred.
His left leg was stuck under a fallen beam.
"Alfred, can you still feel your leg?" Patty asked her brother.
Alfred didn't answer but nodded.
"Please, it hurts so much."
Stanley, Jacob, and Herman pulled the beam off of Alfred's leg. The three boys almost pucked when they saw Alfred's smashed leg. The foot was backward, and bone was sticking out of his calf.
"Oh my God! Wha-what are we going to do?!" Patty said as she saw her brother's broken leg.
Stanley looked out the window and, for the first time, noticed the lights of the town below. The sights of the people bewitched him. This was what an authentic village looked like, and it wasn't overcrowded or underground.
"Stanley!"
Stanley turned around and saw Jacob and Herman trying their best to hold Alfred without hurting him.
"What should we do?" Claudia asked on the brink of tears.
"We'll take him to the hospital," Stanley said.
Everyone stood silent for a moment then looked at Stanley.
"Y-you mean in town?" Theadora asked.
"Well, if you guys wanna wait around and watch Alfred's leg become gangrenous, your welcome to do that, but im going to take him to the hospital. I know New South Park has a hospital, iv had seen it a dozen times when I snuck into town.
"But what if we somehow change something significant that is supposed to happen this very day?" Nancy asked.
"Im losing a lot of blood, and I think im gonna blackout any minute, so im with Stanley on this," Alfred said as he tried his best to Stay Awake.
"We need to get him out of here," Patty said as she fretted over her brother.
"Well? Come on, let's go!" Stanley shouted, and everyone immediately ran out of the time machine and into the chilly yet somehow comforting night air. When they lived underground, it was often very balmy.
"Wow, look at all the lights," Nancy said.
"We never had anything like that in New New South park," Theodora said.
"Well, well, well, look what we got here—a bunch of little kids hanging out on our turf." The Sixth-grade leader said as he and his compatriots rode up to the children.
"Wow, look at that kid's messed up leg." One of the sixth graders said as he pointed at Alfred.
"Please, can you help us get my brother to the hospital?" Patty pleaded.
"Why the fuck would we do that when it would be more fun to make his other leg even worse."
The Sixth-grade leader then got out an aluminum baseball bat and made a few practice swings before looking back at Alfred.
"I hope your parents have good medical insurance because when I'm done with you, you're all going to be in hospital for the next three months."
The other sixth-graders gathered around the kids.
Stanley noticed the look of fear in Patty's eyes; he walked over and stood in a protective stance in front of Patty. Herman did the same with Theodora as well as Jacob with Nancy.
The sixth-grade leader was about to swing his bat but stopped when he felt a rock hit him in the back of the head!
"Ow! What the hell was-" The Sixth-grade leader was hit again by another stone, but this time it hit him in the balls!
The other Sixth graders were also pelted with rocks.
"Forget this; let's get out of here!"
The remaining sixth-graders jumped back onto their bikes and rode away.
"You guys ok?"
Stanley looked over and was immediately stunned when he saw none other than the young version of his father, Stan Marsh Sr.
(Washington, D.C., Underneath the White House)
Joe Biden didn't know how he allowed himself to be talked into seeing this. One of the first things he had done once he had taken office was to end any active weapons projects that his idiotic predecessor had greenlit. There was one project that had still been in the works without his say-so.
General Luther led the president and Vice President down a long dark hallway.
"I assure you, Mr. President and madam vice President, once you see the progress we have made with operation Hyperion, you will approve its continuation.
Joe's eyes went wide as he and Kamala Harris were stupefied when they saw a 500-foot tall chrome Skeletal robot covered in sharp spikes with four long arms.
"I present to you, the Shrike. We've been working on this since the Clinton administration. It's designed to protect humanity in the worst of circumstances." General Luther said.
"What exactly is this thing supposed to protect us from, general?" Kamala Harris asked.
"The possibilities are endless, Madam Vice President. Nuclear holocaust, Terrorist attack, environmental disasters, it can do nearly anything...including enacting a preemptive strike on our enemies."
Joe narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"Think of it, Mr. President, the Shrike, could be in Pyongyang, Tehran, and Moscow within minutes and obliterate these cities in a matter of minutes before any of our enemies have time to mount a defense. And once all our enemies are gone, we'll be the strongest nation on earth."
Joe looked at the Shrike for a moment, then looked back at general Luther.
"Shut it down, General."
Now it was General Luther's turn to look stupefied.
"Excuse me?"
"Im not going to be responsible for millions of deaths, General. Evan, if they are our enemies. I want all work on this automaton stopped immediately, and I want it disassembled."
"B-but Mr. President, you can't just-"
"I can, and I will, and if you want to keep your job general, I suggest you follow my orders!"
Joe and Kamala then walked out of the laboratory.
One of the technicians walked up to General Luther.
"So should I tell everyone that we should begin dismantling the Shrike?" The technician asked.
"No. We're going to show the president that he's wrong. Speed up production; I want this thing done in four days."
"B-but what are we going to do with it?"
"We need a significant natural catastrophe to show the world what the shrike can do. And it can't be just some little storm or something and has to be something big and preferably in an area where people won't be surprised something terrible is happening."
The General then smiled.
"I think I know just the place."
"Where?"
"New South Park, Colorado."
( New South park, Colorado)
"You kids ok?" Kyle asked.
Jacob stared at the young version of his father.
"Hey, what's the matter with you guys?" Kyle asked as he snapped his fingers to try and snap Jacob out of it.
Jacob shook his head then looked at Kyle.
"Ya, im fine. Ugh, thanks for saving us back there."
"It's no problem; those assholes are always trying to screw with someone."
Patty and Alfred couldn't take their eyes off of their father, Tweek.
Tweek himself felt uncomfortable when the twins were looking at him. He then noticed Alfred's injured leg.
"Ack! Oh my God, what's wrong with your leg?!" Tweek asked as he pointed to the injured boy's leg.
"Sweet lord, look at his leg! We have to get him to the hospital." Butters shouted.
(Hell's pass hospital, a few minutes later)
Stan and Stanley helped Alfred off of Butters's big wheel and brought him to the hospital.
"Help, my friend's leg. It's fucked up," Stanley said.
Two Nurses walked up to the two and gently put Alfred onto a wheeled stretcher and took him into the inner rooms of the hospital.
The two stans, as well as everyone else except Eric, waited in the waiting room while Eric tried to take all the jello he could from the cafeteria.
Everyone was silent, except Patty, who cried most of the time while they waited. Stanley was surprised when patty began to cry onto his shoulder.
Stanley held her close and tried his best to comfort her.
"Do you think he's going to be ok, Stanley?" Patty asked in between sobs.
Stanley thought to himself for a moment. He had no idea how Alfred would be, but if he told patty that, he figured that would only make her feel worse.
"Im sure he'll be fine, Patty. The Doctors here are a lot better than the ones where we come from."
Most of the Doctors in New New South park were all hacks who barely knew what there were doing.
"Where did you guys come from?" Kyle asked.
"Ugh, we're from Minnesota."
Herman blurted out.
"You don't sound like you are from Minnesota?" Butters asked.
"Ignore Butters. Whatever he knows about Minnesota is from the movie Fargo."
"What are you guys doing out here anyway?" Tweek asked.
Now it was Nancy's turn to speak.
"Our parents all work for the same company. They're being transferred out here, so we all were moving here."
"Then where are they?" Stan asked.
Stanley thought to himself for a moment. What the hell could he say? We're your kids from the future; it's nice to meet you?
Before Stanley could say anything, the doors opened again, and a squat Doctor with a clip bored walked out.
"You're the kids who came in with the boy with the broken leg, right?"
Patty immediately got up.
"Yes, we are. I'm his sister." Patty said.
"Well, your brother is a fortunate young man; if he had waited any longer to come into the hospital, he would've died of a massive blood loss." The Doctor said.
"So he's ok?"
"We've stopped the bleeding, but unfortunately, your brother has a very severely broken leg. We'll operate on him tomorrow."
"Can I see him?"
"Unfortunately, no. Your brother is on a massive amount of painkillers. We'll let him sleep; then you can see him in the morning before surgery."
"Ok...when is it?"
"We'll prep him tomorrow at 9:00 Am."
The Doctor then walked over to some other patients.
"Well, at least your brother is going to be ok," Kyle said.
Patty sighed in relief.
"Thanks to you guys. If you hadn't come when you did, Alfred would have died."
"I bet your parents will be happy to know your brother is ok...where are they anyway?"
"Ya, where have they been this whole time?" Tweek asked.
Patty wanted to say you have been here the whole time, Papa. But she knew that would be unwise besides; if she did tell Tweek that he was her father, he would probably ask who her mother was, and if she told him it was Millie Larsen, how would that affect her future?"
"They'll be here soon. A friend of our parents was driving us here, and when he crashed his car, he went to get help, and then you guys found us." Claudia
Claudia mentally punched herself.
"Way to go, Claudia, that only sounded like the stupidest back story ever. Now they'll know for sure that it's all a lie!" Claudia thought to herself.
"That's horrible. Do you guys have any way of contacting him?" Butters asked.
"Wow, I guess people were foolish then." Claudia thought to herself.
"Well...i guess since you guys don't have a place to stay for the night, you could stay with us." Stan offered.
"Ya, we were all going to stay over at stan's house tonight. we could sneak you guys in for tonight, then sneak you out in the morning," Kyle said.
"Really? That would be great. We promise that it will only be for one night." Jacob said.
Kyle didn't know why, but there was something oddly familiar about this boy.
Bertha then began to whimper before she ran out of the hospital crying.
"Is she ok?" Tweek asked.
"I'll go talk to her," Herman said as he followed Bertha out of the hospital.
Herman found Bertha crying behind a bush.
"You ok, Bertha?"
Bertha turned around, and Herman could see the red irritated skin of her eyes.
"No, I'm not ok. Herman! I can't keep acting as nothing happened. We are stuck in 2021; the shrike is going to rise soon and probably kill us, and...why is everyone just acting as nothing happened to poor Dani?"
Bertha continued to cry into her hands until Herman tried to comfort her.
He could sympathize with Bertha. Dani had been his best friend, and he had also known Bertha had had a crush on Dani since they were little kids.
"Dani meant a lot to both of us, Bertha. I know he wouldn't want us, especially you, to waste what little time we have left on this miserable blue marble crying over him. He would like us to carry on with our lives."
"You know I liked him, right? I mean like like."
"Yes, I know. He liked you too, Bertha."
Herman noticed a smile creeping onto her face.
"Really?"
Herman nodded.
"We have a chance now to stop the shrike from ever-rising, and without the shrike, there would be no cult, and without the cult, Dani will live, and you two can get together and runoff into the sunset or whatever."
(Marsh Residence)
Stan undid the window, and one by one, the kids came in.
"Are you sure this is ok, Stan? I don't want you to get in trouble." Nancy said.
"It's okay. My parents are busy watching informative murder porn, so they won't be coming downstairs till around 7:30 in the morning." Stan said as he got out several sleeping bags.
"Be careful when some of you go to sleep in the living room; my sister Leslie doesn't know about any of you staying here. She only knows about Kyle, Tweek, Butters, and Cartman staying over."
"We'll be careful," Jacob said as he, Nancy, Herman, Claudia, and Theodora walked out of the Bedroom.
After a few hours, everyone had finally fallen asleep. Stanley quietly got out of his sleeping bag and tiptoed past his friends until he reached his dad's bed and grabbed his dad's phone. He moved stan's thumb onto the phone button and then opened his father's photos.
He was overjoyed when he saw the many photos of his father and mother together. He had never gotten to know his mom and dad, so seeing these pictures of them together meant the world to him, even if they were of his parents as kids.
"Stanley?"
Stanley turned around and saw patty standing in the doorway.
"Patty, what are you doing up?" Stanley whispered.
"I couldn't sleep. I kept worrying about Alfred. What are you doing to your dad's phone?"
Stanley looked away for a moment, then looked back at patty.
"I want to see some pictures of my mom and dad together. Growing up in an orphanage, I always wanted to know what my parents were like, and now I can. Idon't care if it's just them as kids, im still grateful to be here with them."
Patty looked at him for a moment before she looked back down.
Stanley walked over to patty.
"I wouldn't waste your time worrying about Alfred. The Doctor said he would be ok."
"It's not his injury I'm worried about, Stanley. I'm concerned about his psyche. Alfred has always been an enormous stress case, just like my papa used to be, and im worried that all of this is too much for him to take."
Stanley took Patty by the hand.
Patty didn't know why but this made her feel so safe.
"Im not going to lie to you, patty. With time travel and his massive leg injury, this whole experience is probably going to be hard on him; heck, he's probably going to be the most stressed-out he's ever been."
"Are you trying to comfort me? Because you're doing a pretty crappy job."
"Patty, this might be good for your brother. He has to learn to control his stress. Tomorrow when we visit him in the hospital, we have to start talking to him about either getting back home or stopping the shrike; personally im in favor of the latter, and that kind of talk will probably stress him out.
"I need you to help him as much as possible and keep him calm because he and you are the only ones with any real Brains in our little group."
Patty blushed. It was sweet of Stanley to say she was brilliant. She was nowhere near the level of her Twin, but she wasn't that far off either.
"Do you think we can stop it, Stanley?"
Stanley tightened his grip on patty's hands.
"We may, but we also might not. If old-time travel movies have taught me anything, our presence here might change the future, and maybe the events that are altered will lead to Shrike's destruction."
Patty looked side to side before looking back at Stanley.
"Ugh, Patty, what are you doing?"
Patty blushed before smiling.
"This."
Patty then kissed Stanley on the lips.
After Patty took her lips away, she noticed Stanley's cheeks turning a dark green color.
"Are you ok?"
Stanley immediately grabbed his beanie hat and vomited into it.
(Interstate 25)
Three massive trucks drove towards New South Park.
Two of the trucks carried the many parts and pieces of the Shrike, while the third truck had the CIA's experimental weather comptroller. The plan was to disassemble the shrike and supposedly destroy it.
What President Biden didn't know was that the shrike could and would reassemble itself and wait for the weather comptroller to start a Rockside. The shrike would save the townspeople from certain death, and the president would see the Shrike's true potential.
The Driver then saw the Welcome to New South park sign coming up. By this time tomorrow, the whole world would see what the shrike could do.
(The Next day, 11:34 Am)
Alfred opened his eyes. The first thing he noticed was the large cast that covered his injured leg.
"How do you feel, Alfred?"
Alfred recognized the voice of his Twin sister, Patty.
"Ugh, Patty, I had the weirdest dream. I, the guys traveled back in time and-"
Alfred stopped talking when he noticed the outdated hospital room he was in.
"Oh God, it did happen, didn't it?"
Patty nodded.
"W-we are all doomed."
Alfred began to freak out like his dad used to.
"The Shrike is going to come here any day now and kill all our parents and us!"
Stanley, Jacob, and Herman tried their best to hold their friend down.
"Alfred, calm down!" Patty said.
To everyone's surprise, even Patty couldn't calm her brother.
"Alfred, please calm down," Claudia said, and to everyone's surprise, Alfred laid back down in his hospital bed.
Patty noticed the look of worry in Claudia's eyes.
It wasn't the type of worry that you see in a friend's eyes but the type of worry you see in the eyes of someone who is in love. Did Claudia have a crush on her Brother?
Patty then tried to get the thought out of her mind, One problem at a time.
Everyone waited a few minutes while Alfred took a few deep breaths before he finally spoke up.
"We can't go back or, at the very least, not yet."
"Why not?" Jacob asked.
"Because it took me almost two years to make that Time Machine from bits and parts that haven't even been invented yet. The main problem is that the amber liquid I used to make the machine active was not developed until a year from now when the human population was still
7,953,952,567. "
"What if we stop the shrike like you originally planned?" Stanley asked.
Alfred chuckled.
"I said that as a joke, Stanley. There is no way to stop the shrike. Maybe if I had told the government about this and gave it to them, they could have found a way to do it, but we're not competent adults; we are just a bunch of Eight-year-olds who don't know what we're doing."
"So your just going to give up even though we have the chance to save millions of lives?"
"Im being realistic, Stanley. We can't do anything to stop the shrike. The best we can do is try to save our families and protect the people of New South park."
Theadora was about to say something but noticed something on Alfred's room's tv. She grabbed the remote and unmuted it.
The female anchor was in front of the New South park town sign.
"Meteorologists say that heavy rain may cause a severe rockslide. Residents of New South park should begin evacuating as soon as possible."
"You kids gotta get out of here."
They turned around to see a gaunt Doctor with two robust nurses. The two nurses then began to unplug Alfred from the monitors and wheel him out of the room.
"Hey, what are you doing with him?" Patty asked.
" We are moving all patients to secure and safe areas. I suggest you kids come with us."
Alfred then remembered that the shrike first appeared after a massive storm. His eyes went wide in fear.
"It's coming now! The shrike is coming; get everyone out! Save our families!"
One of the nurses got out a syringe and injected Alfred with a relaxant.
"You can't do that to him! Claudia said
"We can." The Doctor said before getting out a Walkie-Talkie and speaking into it.
"Need backup on the fourth floor."
Herman narrowed his eyes.
"Your not a doctor, are you?" Herman asked.
"How do you kids know about the Shrike? It's been a closely guarded secret for years."
"How, do you know we know about it?" Jacob asked.
"The Cia has had sleeper agents living in this town for years because of all the supernatural shit that happens here."
Several more agents disguised as nurses came into the room and grabbed each child.
"Take them and the shaky kid to the holding area."
His walkie-talkie then buzzed. He answered.
"The shrike is ready, sir; we await your command."
"Increase power on the weather comptroller and make sure the rock slide happens soon!"
(Outside of Town)
A technician was busy putting the last touch on the massive robot. He was trying to cover up the shrike's one weak point. On the right side of its head were the personality chips were placed. It would take a master sharpshooter to hit the shrike in this area.
Beside him were two personality chips. The first one was the chip that would allow the shrike to be seen as a savior. The second would make the shrike an unstoppable war machine. He was about to grab the savior chip, but a spray of exhaust got him in the eyes! As he was rubbing his eyes, he accidentally grabbed the warlike chip and put it in without checking which was which.
The Shrike was then activated. The robot's red eyes came to life as it looked down at the humans below it.
"Order 137, destroy all enemies in the nearby area." the Shrike said through its speakers.
The Robot then grabbed all the humans nearby in its enormous four hands and crushed them all to death until they were nothing but blood and bones dripping and falling from its hands.
The Shrike then used its scanners to search for more of its enemies. The town of New South park came upon its screens.
(New South park, town square)
The National Guard was moving the citizens of New South park out of their homes and to a more safe area.
Stan, his Twin sister Leslie as well as their parents were being led out along with everyone else's families.
"Stan!"
Stan turned his head and saw his girlfriend, Wendy Testaburger coming towards him.
"What's up, Babe?" Stan asked.
"Do you have any idea what's going on?"
"I have no idea. There must be some big storm coming or something."
Kyle and Tweek then ran up to the two.
"Stan, they're taking away those kids from last night," Kyle said.
"Who is?"
"I saw some nurses from the hospital taking Stanley and the others away."
"Ack, kyle is right! Look, there they are now!" Tweek said as he saw the kids from last night being loaded into an armored vehicle.
"Hey!"
Stan, Kyle, Tweek, and Wendy ran over to where there friends were being loaded.
"Stan, where are you going? Get back here!" Sharon said, but these words fell on Deaf ears.
"Hey! What are you doing to our friends?!" Tweek Shouted.
"That's none of your concern; move along, citizen." One of the guards said.
"No, it is our business. These kids are our friends, and you can't just kidnap them." Stan said.
"Get back to your family, kid. That's your last warning!"
Stan didn't flinch. He looked right back into the guard's eyes.
"Let my friends go."
The guard was about to say something but stopped when they all felt the ground shake violently.
"What the hell is that?!" Tweek asked.
"Here it comes!" Alfred shrieked.
"Here what comes?" Wendy asked.
"The Shrike!"
The gigantic robot locked on all of them.
"Several enemies are located; begin termination." The robot then grabbed several guards in one of its hands and squashed them with ease!
The Shrike then looked down at the kids.
"Enemy preadolescence detected, termination recommended."
Before one of its other hands came down, Stanley grabbed a rocket launcher from one of the dead guard's hands and shot it at the Shrike!
The rocket destroyed its left eye!
"C'mon!" Stan shouted as everyone got out of the van. The last one to get out was Stanley.
He was astonished when he saw both of his parents together.
"Dude, what are you looking at?" Stan asked.
"Im looking at you and mom, Dad," Stanley said.
Everyone stared at Stanley for a moment except Alfred, who ran over to Stanley and grabbed him by his coat.
"Stanley, do you have any idea what you've done?! Thanks to you, our timeline will be forever changed!"
Stanley grabbed His friend's arm and gently lowered them back down.
" Alfred, our timeline changed permanently once we went back in time."
Stanley then looked over at his mother and father.
"D-did you call me and Stan, mom, and dad?" Wendy asked.
Stanley nodded.
"You and Stan get married after college, then two years later I was born. Stanley then looked over at Kyle and Tweek.
"Kyle, after you graduate from medical school and Bebe graduates from Business school, you two get married and have Jacob over here." Stanley pointed to his best friend as he was saying this.
"And Tweek, the night you propose to Millie Larsen, she tells you that she's pregnant with twins, your son, and daughter, Patty, and Alfred."
Stanley then pointed to Patty and Alfred.
"Then who are the other kids?" Kyle asked.
"Herman is Cartman's foster son, and Nancy, Bertha, Theadora, and Claudia are the Daughters of your other friends and classmates, and we-"
Stanley was interrupted when the shrike brought one of its massive hands down on the armored vehicle and crushed it like an ant.
Patty looked around but didn't see Stanley anywhere.
"Where is-"
Patty stopped talking when she remembered that Stanley was pretty close to the van when the shrike brought its hand down on it.
The shrike then dropped the van, and patty noticed a mangled Human corps stuck in the broken door.
Tears immediately began to fall down her cheeks, she tried to run towards the van, but Herman grabbed her and dragged her into the woods.
Because of the rocket damage, the shrike could not track the humans into the woods, but it did not care; there were more humans in the nearby town, he would deal with those humans first.
While the shrike was heading towards the Town, it was unaware that Stanley was climbing up the robot's second left arm. When the shrike had grabbed the van, Stanley had still Been inside the truck when the shrike had caught it, but luckily Stanley had jumped off the car before it had been crushed.
Stanley almost slipped off the robot's chrome arm but quickly regained his hold on it and continued to climb up.
The shrike didn't notice him because its left eye had been destroyed.
(In the woods)
Patty tried her best to hold in her tears. She knew that she had to be strong for everyone else now. A hand then touched her shoulder; she turned around and saw Wendy.
"Oh, hey, wendy."
"It's patty, right?"
Patty nodded.
Wendy then pulled patty into a comforting hug.
Patty was a bit surprised at first but returned the hug.
"Thank you; I needed this," Patty said.
"I know what it's like to lose your boyfriend. Lord knows I've lost Stan and gotten him back countless times."
Patty and wendy let go of each other, and patty noticed it was wendy who was crying now.
"Was he really my and Stan's son?"
Patty nodded.
Wendy then began to cry even more.
"B-but how did..."
"We time-traveled into the past by accident," Patty said.
"Of course. Yea, know what's weird about this whole situation? I'm not surprised by any of it!"
Wendy then collapsed to the ground and began to cry even more complexly.
Stan ran over to wendy, and as soon as she noticed him, she picked herself up and began to cry onto her boyfriend's shoulder.
Stan didn't say anything. He only held wendy close to him, hoping she wouldn't see him begin to cry.
Kyle hadn't taken his eyes off Jacob since Stanley told him that Jacob was his and Bebe's son. As he looked at the boy, he could not help but believe it. Jacob mostly looked like a boy version of Bebe, especially with his frizzy blond hair, but Jacob did have kyle's jungle green eyes, and he was happy to see his son wearing an old green Ushanka hat.
Kyle wanted to talk to his son, but at the same time, he knew that now was not a good time since his best friend's son had just been crushed to death. To his surprise, Jacob ran over to him. His son was crying and pulled his father into a hug.
"Im sorry, dad, I know this is awkward, but I just-"
Kyle interrupted his son then pulled him into a comforting hug.
"It's ok, sport. Just let it out."
"Did you call me sport?" Jacob asked.
"Ya, did I just ruin our moment?"
Jacob shook his head no.
"We can't stay here!"
Everyone looked over at Bertha.
"If we stay here, we're going to be crushed or killed in ways you all can't even imagine, and Stanley and everyone else will have died for nothing! Come on!"
Everyone followed Bertha while the shrike got closer to New South park.
Stanley finally reached the shoulder of the massive robot. He wiped the sweat away from his forehead then looked up at the shrike's head.
Its eyes and part of the left side of its head were severely damaged. Stanley then noticed a port on the side of its head was exposed. He continued to climb up and saw exposed wiring and a computer chip halfway out. Years ago, he, as well as the other survivors, had gained access to the shrike's blueprints. This was what gave the robot its warlike mentality. No one has ever gotten this close to the Shrike before. If he could remove the chip, then maybe he could finally save everyone in the future.
He grabbed the chip and tried his hardest to pull it out, but it wouldn't budge.
He looked over his shoulder and saw that the shrike was a minute away from New South park.
He pulled again but still nothing! All of a sudden, Stanley remembered an old trick he learned. Sometimes to get a stuck object out, you needed to put a thin thing in so you could get the other object out...the only thing he had left was the photo of his parents. He pulled it out of his coat pocket and looked at it one last time. Losing this photo would be hard for him, but if this worked, then it would be worth it.
The port itself was hot, so he had to do this fast. He gently slides the photo in and moved it around a little until the computer chip fell out of the port and down below to the ground.
Stanley looked back at the port to see his photo was burning up.
The shrike stopped in place before it became stiff and began to fell to the ground!
Stan, wendy, Kyle, and everyone else ran away from the falling behemoth until it hit the ground!
As soon as the dust cleared, Patty began to look around and make sure everyone was ok.
Patty was about to call out to everyone but stopped when she heard a familiar moan.
"Oh my God."
"What?" Wendy asked.
Patty didn't answer. Instead, she ran towards the fallen automaton.
She frantically looked around until she finally found him.
Stanley had landed in a pool of mud which had saved him from certain death but had also broken nearly every bone in his body.
"Oh my God, Stanley. You all smashed up.
"Not company, I didn't break my head...or at least I don't think I did." Stanley struggled to say.
Tears of joy began to fall from Patty's face. She wanted to hug him, but she knew that would only make his injuries worse.
"Is it dead? The Shrike, I mean."
Patty nodded.
"You did it, Stanley. You saved us, your parents, and all the other people who the Shrike would have killed."
"Patty...i wanted to tell you that-"
Stanley was interrupted when Alfred called out to sister.
"Patty!"
Patty turned around and saw Herman, Theodora, Bertha, Jacob, and Claudia were fading away.
"Ack, what's happening?!" Tweek shouted.
Alfred crawled towards his sister as he too began to fade away.
"Alfred, what's happening?!" Patty shouted.
"Because the shrike has been destroyed, our timeline is repairing itself," Alfred said.
"What's going to happen to us?!"
Alfred completely faded away before he could answer.
Patty looked down and was shocked to see Stanley was fading away.
Before his body wholly faded away, patty gave Stanley a short but loving kiss before both children added away.
(The Future, New South park)
Stanley opened his eyes immediately and looked at his surroundings.
Stanley saw that he was in an average eight-year-old boy's bedroom. He was sitting in an actual bed instead of an old cot. He was about to get out of bed and explore his new surroundings when he saw two adults walk by his bedroom door.
"Stanley, get out of bed. You're going to miss the bus." The voice belonged to an adult Stan Marsh Sr.
"Are you feeling alright, sweetheart?" An adult Wendy Testaburger Marsh asked as she felt her son's forehead.
Stanley jumped off of his bed and held his parents close.
"I...i can't believe it. You and mom are alive." Stanley said.
Wendy and Stan looked at each other for a moment before looking back at their son.
Stan then felt his son's forehead.
"Are you sure your all right, champ?" Stan Sr asked.
"Did you have a bad dream?" Wendy asked.
Stanley wiped away the tears from his face then smiled.
"It doesn't matter, mom. Everything is going to be ok, now. "
"Ok, no more Red bull for you, now do get dressed and meet your friends at the bus stop."
Stanley then got dressed in his school uniform and was delighted to see his friends, Jacob Broflovski, Herman Cartman, and Alfred Tweak, as soon as he ran out to the bus stop.
"Guys!"
His friends smiled as Stanley joined them.
"Thank God that your ok, Dude. The last time we saw you, you were all smashed up." Jacob said.
Stanley didn't answer but looked at Alfred instead.
"Alfred, do you know what has happened?"
Alfred shrugged.
"the best way I can say it, without the shrike most of humanity and our town, it seems we were all born and have everyday lives...well as close to normal as we can have in New South park," Alfred answered.
"Sorry im late, guys. I accidentally stepped in dog poo on my way out of the house and had to scrape it all out."
The four boys turned around, and to their joy, saw Dani Tanner running up to them.
Without saying a word, the four boys hugged their friend.
Ugh, what the hell is going on with you guys?" Dani asked.
"Ack! Don't ruin the moment, Dani!" Alfred said before the Bus drove up to the five boys, and they each got on.
The five boy's joy was increased when they saw their girlfriends waiting for them on the bus. Bertha grabbed Dani and pulled him onto her seat.
Dani blushed when he noticed the longing look in the red-haired girl's eyes.
"Ugh, Bertha, why are you looking at me like that?" Dani asked.
Bertha put index finger on Dani's lips.
"Just shut up and let happen what happens, Tanner."
Before Dani could say anything else, Bertha kissed him lovingly.
Stanley likewise was pulled onto his seat by Patty.
Stanley blushed as he noticed Patty looking at him the same way Bertha had with Dani.
"Stanley, before we faded away, you were about to tell me something; what was it exactly?"
"Well, I wanted to tell you that I-"
Patty then put a gloved hand over Stanley's mouth
"I know, and I like-like you too."
Patty quickly kissed Stanley, and before he puked, she got out a small barf bag and gave it to her new Boyfriend.
"Thanks," Stanley said before he began to vomit into the bag.
(The past, New South park)
The government had tried its best to cover up the failed Shrike activation from most of the country. Still, unfortunately, too many people had found out about it, so to avoid scandal, Joe Biden rightfully told the public that general Luther had acted alone when trying to show off his killing machine to the world, all the other technicians and scientists involved in shrike project were paid off and told not to tell anyone of their involvement.
While a work crew was dismantling the shrike, one of the robot's designers was looking through the rubble until he found what he was looking for, the personality chip that made the shrike warlike. He placed it in his pocket then walked back to his work tent.
As he went in, a short Hooded figure waited in the corner of the Tent.
"Did you find it?" The Hooded figure asked.
"Yes, sir, I did."
The designer then handed the chip over to the hooded figure.
The Hooded figure smiled as he undid his hood and revealed himself to be Mickey Mouse.
"I want you to come to Walt Disney World in Florida," Mickey said.
"W-why?" the designer asked.
"I want you to start building a new
Shrike. I don't care how long it takes. Just to get started as soon as possible."
The End?
