I really like Shipping War. It's helping me keep a steady schedule for writing without worrying about timing or that I won't get stuff finished. This is for the prompt 'Time Travel' and is set during the episode 'Razor's Edge'. First few lines are from the actual episode.

"I left to protect the person I loved the most," Krolia told Keith. "You."

Seeing all those flashes of the past and learning more about his parents made Keith's head spin a little but he knew it wasn't over yet. There was no time for talking though as another blast headed towards them. They couldn't stop them, so he simply braced himself.

The scenery around them changed and it was a castle. It looked like the Castle of Lions but why were they here?

"This place, where is it?" Krolia wondered as the flashing light faded to reveal two little kids who ran across the floor.

"Akira! Melanor!" A familiar voice called out and Keith frowned a bit as he saw Allura step out. She was wearing a casual suit with a small diamond tiara on her head. Why was she in a vision? Wait, were they in the future now? But it would have been his future, wouldn't it? Was Allura a part of his future? His cheeks flushed a bit, question being answered as the future version of him picked up the little girl in his arms.

"It's okay, Allura," His older self said kindly as he smiled down at the little girl. "They're both okay. But Melanor, Akira, be more careful, ok? The floors of the Castle of Lions can be a bit slippery sometimes."

"Okay, Papa," The little boy said happily. "Can Mel and I go play now?"

"Be careful," Allura reiterated as Keith set Melanor down who took her brother's hand and giggled.

"Yes, Mama," Melanor said, giving a little curtsy.

Keith felt his face his turn even redder as he watched his future-self wrap an arm around Allura pulling her close and she rested her head against his shoulder.

"It's nice to see you have your own little family in the future," Krolia remarked, a smirk on her face as they returned to the present situation. "She's beautiful though, your girlfriend…well, future wife, I suppose. Who is she?"

"She's not my girlfriend," Keith stammered out, face going even redder. "Not now at least. I don't…I mean, maybe this place shows fake images as well?"

"It showed the truth about my past with your father," Krolia pointed out. "Why would this be fake?"

Keith fell silent at that, heart beginning to race. Allura was beautiful and a princess, not to mention, she deserved way better than him. Still, seeing that future, seeing himself with her and their kids, a part of him longed to reach out and keep it. But did he feel that way towards her? She had drifted into his mind more often than the others even while he was with the Blades, but he had just dismissed that as something normal. She was just as reckless as Shiro sometimes, after all. But now, was it something else? She was intelligent and incredibly talented – he could always count on her to be there when he needed her, oh and she was very beautiful too, of course. He would have to be blind not to see how attractive she was – it was something that didn't cross his mind often because there was so much about her that was amazing.

"Yeah," Keith finally admitted, cheeks still bright red as he leaned in closer to Krolia before they were blasted again.

Krolia chuckled a little bit. "Well, one thing is clear, you have quite exquisite taste."

Keith didn't think it was possible to go even redder than he was currently, but one definitely learnt something new every day.
