'Wow,' Latios thought in wonder as the eon dragon looked around in the radiant waters of Altomare.

Glancing around the ports, Latios could see the open blue waters of the ocean bordering the city of Altomare. The dragon could see the boats on the horizon, arriving and departing the city. Staring at the clear blue skies, sensing the calm breeze coming from the ocean.

"See, this is the ocean," the voice of a little girl explained.

Looking to his right, Latios could grin as Bianca, said little girl, was carrying a small Latias near her chest. Latios drifted near to the girl to give a better look at his baby sister. The Latias, meanwhile, stared at the ocean with wide eyes, making Latios smile at his little sister, being that this is her first time out to see the ocean.

Latias jerked her body, letting Bianca realize that she wants to move around. Bianca nodded in understanding as she gently positioned the baby dragon on the stone concrete. Once free, Latias started to bounce her way to the ocean.

Latios came behind Latias, inspecting over her in case something were to happen. Latias hopped down a set of stone stairs. Once near the ocean did the Latias look at the water, startled at seeing her reflection. This made Latios chuckle at her expression.

The baby Latias gave a playful swing with her claw, swiping the water. Latias cackled until she suddenly fell into the water, earning a surprised yelp from the Latios. Latios quickly went to where Latias fell but was surprised to see the Latias emerge from the water, laughing as if nothing happened. Latios sighed in relief at seeing the Latias that was unexpectedly swimming and paddling around in circles.

"My, my, it appears that she's enjoying herself," a male voice said aloud.

Looking back, Latios could see Lorenzo, the one who spoke out, stand beside Bianca and observe the scene. Latios nodded in agreement with Lorenzo's statement as he floated close to him. "La," Latios said in its language.

"Yes, she does seem to enjoy it," Lorenzo agreed as if he understood the pokemon.

Latios nodded until it looked at Lorenzo and his granddaughter, Bianca, as he silently thanked them as through the years did they help him raise the young Latias, along with keeping his home a secret to the city.

But unbeknownst to the group the heart of the city, where a hidden haven exists, did a gem begin to pulse and radiate huge amounts of energy.

The Latios stiffened as he felt the energy. Looking at the source did it draw the attention of both Lorenzo and Bianca.

"Latios, is something wrong?" Lorenzo asked, but received no response.

The Latios quickly flew in the direction of the gem, known as the 'Soul Dew'. Lorenzo followed behind, but not before telling Bianca to keep an eye on Latias. Bianca nodded, scared of what was happening, but replaced her scared look into a determined one in her eyes.

With a huff, Lorenzo turned and ran to where Latios was heading. Bianca, now by herself, walked around and waited, all while being nearby Latias. The Latias however was unaware of what was going on as she laughed at how the water was rising and falling, pushing her back and forth.

The Latios flew by the city with ease until it entered the haven, where it then went to the fountain that was holding the jewel. When the dragon arrived, however, it was stunned as the gem was glowing, which Latios has never seen. This was bad as Latios didn't know what to do. How he hoped that it could end soon and that nothing bad will happen. And it will, yet the dragon doesn't know as it floats around the jewel.

The Latias meanwhile, without Bianca knowing, was being carried by the waves. The Latias giggled from the ride, but she heard a scream from Bianca. Turning to the girl did the dragon realize how far she was from the land. With haste did the Latias try to swim back, but the waves were pushing her farther away from land. The Latias let out a shriek of fear as it continued to struggle against the waves but it was in vain.

Looking behind, Latias's eyes shrank and pulled her body close in fear as a huge wave was heading towards her way. She turned to where the docks were and let out one final scream before being submerged underwater, never emerging again, for a while. It then did the waves calm down, and in sync did it make the Soul Dew stop its weird act.

The Latios, watching over the jewel, was confused as it stopped glowing and pulsing out energy. The Latios rotated his head in thought until his hearing picked up the sound of Bianca screaming. 'Latias!' the Latios screamed as it quickly flew to where Bianca was.

When Latios arrived, he only see the sight of a crying Bianca. "What happened?" the voice of Lorenzo called out.

Behind Latios did Lorenzo approached the scene as he'd been following Latios back to the docks after seeing him fly back around. Looking around, Lorenzo could thank Arceus as no one is around to see the commotion right now. He focused his attention on Bianca once again.

"What happened? Where's Latias?"

"I don't know, one thing I was watching her, and the next thing was that she was swept away by the water," Bianca explained as she continued to cry afterward.

Lorenzo looked at Latios, who in turn eyed the ocean. Without a sound, Latios shot toward the ocean and began his frantic search for its sister.

"Where are you!" Latios screamed out but received no call in return.

When searching, Latios would become frustrated as it would shout out its name. But the Latios stopped and returned to the docks. Heartbroken, dull, as it was becoming dawn did the Latios return and shake its head when asked about finding Latias.

Bianca and Lorenzo felt heartbroken upon hearing Latios scream out in grief. They hugged the pokemon who returned as it let its tears flow.

On the other side of the world, a young boy along with his mother was visiting the beach for a vacation. It was sunny, humid and a cool sea breeze to help cool them down, thanks to the ocean waves providing the breeze. But the ocean waves were moving fast from across the world, faster than one would notice.

With the boy, known as Ash Ketchum, did he notice that the sea levels rise and fall, but mostly rise? He thought nothing of it as he continued to perfect his sandcastle. But hearing his mother's call did Ash abandon his castle as he went to his mother and dried off the sand and water with a towel.

As his mom, known as Delia Ketchum, packed their stuff away did Ash went off to explore, dragging a towel with him. Ash would gaze at the water in front of him and gasp at the beautiful sight before him. Oh, how Ash wished that something would happen already as he was getting bored and impatient with waiting for his mother.

Being observant did Ash notice the ocean waves calm down a bit. At first, they were strong waves, ones that could drag a kid away, but now it's slow and smooth. Ash shrugged in wonder as he soon forgot about it and began to think about something else.

Ash suddenly stiffened as he heard a call to his far left. Turning to the direction of the call, he trudged forward to the noise. Walking past all the people on the beach did Ash realized that the noise was farther away, way out of sight from these people.

'Is it worth it?' Ash thought to himself.

He didn't want to as he did not want to get lost and worry his mother. But he threw that thought away as he heard the call again, but this time more urgent. He sprinted as fast as his little legs could.

Running farther down, just near where Ash could see people over the horizon, did Ash skid to a stop upon finding the sight in front of him. In front of him, washed up on the shore was a baby pokemon all soaked up from the water.

Upon closer inspection did Ash hear whimpering from the pokemon. Looking at the pokemon's eyes did Ash see the pokemon cry and look around, not noticing Ash. Not a moment soon did the baby pokemon see Ash.

Ash and the pokemon both froze when they spotted each other. With baited breaths did both beings decided to wait. The pokemon moved first as it meekly try to hop away. "Wait!" Ash called out.

But the pokemon didn't stop there and kept on going is when Ash decided to chase after the pokemon. Luckily the pokemon wasn't fast, meaning that Ash quickly caught up to it. Blocking the pokemon, Ash tried to talk to it, but the pokemon squealed and run in a new direction.

Ash ran after it again but he suddenly tripped and landed on the pokemon. "Sorry!" Ash apologized but he was drowned out by the pokemon's scream of pain.

Ash quickly wrapped his arms around the pokemon in an attempt to soothe its pain. The pokemon noticed and in a fit of anger and pain, it bit down on Ash's arm, and it bit hard much to say. Ash grimaced but held firm, not the smartest idea as the pokemon kept on biting.

After a while, the pokemon grew tired and stopped as it huffed. Holding back tears, Ash lifted his bitten arm and gently petted the pokemon's head. The pokemon flinched a bit but soon relaxed to the touch. "There, there see. I won't hurt you," Ash cooed out.

The pokemon then purred from the touch, now knowing that Ash won't intend any harm. Ash smiled a bit as he scratched her chin. The pokemon sighed and leaned into his touch.

With a gulp, Ash got off the pokemon and lay down beside it. Looking at the pokemon, Ash could see it not move in panic, which made him smile. With a groan, young Ash Ketchum spoke with the pokemon. "So what are you. I know that pokemon speak their names, which I learned from prof. Oak,"

"L...Latias," it hesitantly spoke.

"A Latias. Are you a boy or girl," Ash questioned?

The Latias nodded at Ash's answer, making his eyes twitch. He tried again, "Are you a boy?" Ash asked, receiving a no, via headshake.

"Are you a girl?" Ash asked.

This time Latias nodded vigorously, making Ash chuckle. Sitting up, Ash yelped from the sudden pain in his arm. Gripping it, Ash tried to soothe the pain, but it was still there. This got the attention of Latias as she hopped over to where Ash's arm. Latia's expression soured at seeing his arm, covered in bite marks, and she did it to him.

"Hey, it's alright, it doesn't bother me that much," Ash reasoned. Latias gave Ash a 'really' look and gently nudged Ash's arm, earning a yelp from Ash.

Latias voiced its apologies as it nuzzled Ash's stomach. Ash laughed and patted Latias back, earning a sigh from the tired pokemon. Noticing this Ash asked Latias, "Hey where do you come from?"

The Latias looked at Ash and began to cry and whimper as it hugged him. Ash was surprised by Latias's outburst. So he gently rubbed her back and whispered to her. The Latias sniffed and shrugged, letting Ash know that she is lost.

"I see," Ash mumbled. His expression changed into one that had a bright idea, but could it be called an idea when it involves Ash? Nonetheless, Ash asked Latias, "Let me take you home, maybe I could find it for you,"

Latias beamed up at his proclamation, so she chirped at him. "Well wherever you came from, you must have had a long swim huh?"

Latias looked at the ocean and shrunk away in fear, whimpering while doing so. Ash quickly patted Latias and calmed her. Ash didn't know what to do, he had a pokemon with him, and how was he going to take her to his mom, who would probably freak out. Ash slowly looked to his right and spotted his towel.

Ash reached then grabbed the towel where he proceeded to wring out the water inside. Ash could hear Latias voice its confusion. Turning to Latias, Ash opened the towel, inviting her to come close to Ash. Latias perked her head at him but made her way to Ash nonetheless.

Once close enough, Ash gently wrapped his arms, holding the towel as well, and brought her close to him. Latias sighed as she melted in Ash's hug and closed her eyes. Ash then started to rub her with the towel, making her eyes jolt open.

"It's alright, I'm just cleaning you," Ash explained.

Latias nodded as Ash continued to rub the towel all over. He carefully scrubbed her belly, her back, her wings, and now he was gently rubbing her head. However, Latias enjoyed the scratching sensation from Ash so she purred in delight.

"Alright, all done now!"

Latias looked up at Ash, who moved the towel beneath her and was now holding her with the towel to the side. Ash picked up Latias and looked over her. He then smiled as he was pleased that Latias was partially clean as there was some sand stuck between her feathers.

"Come on Latias, let's go," Ash said.

Getting up, Ash could hear Latias call for him. Turning to the distressed pokemon, Ash wondered what's happening. "La, Latia,"

"Do you not want to be seen by people?" Ash said.

Latias eagerly nodded at Ash's question. But this was going to be hard for the young boy as he didn't know what to do to hide Latias. But he looked at the towel, and it seemed to be big. Hand on his chin, Ash spoke, "Well, I may have something that could help,"

Latias looked at Ash in wonder until it turned into surprise as Ash gently grabbed her with a towel. Ash then wrapped the towel until it hid the pokemon, with one end so that the pokemon could breathe. "There you go. Uh... are you all right?" Ash said, looking into the one entrance of the towel.

Ash laughed as the Latias tickled him when she suddenly licked him in the cheek. With some room to wiggle around did the Latias extend her head and continue her assault on Ash. "Haha, alright, alright. I get it, now let's go," Ash said as he carried the towel.

"Also, could you please move back inside some more and try not to move around," Ash asked.

Latias complied as it shimmied inside the towel and didn't move, but Ash could feel her body rise from the pokemon's breathing. Ash gently patted the towel, as he found himself in the crowd of people that were enjoying the beach.

Ash hurried to where he last spotted his mother as he felt the Latias in his arms shivering and whimpering from a large number of people around. Patting her again did Ash notice his mother out in the crowd. Her hand to her brow as she was gazing around until she spotted Ash did she put her hands on her hips.

'Oh boy,' Ash thought as he walked up to his mother. Ash winced as he heard his mom call on him, "Now where were you, young man?!"

Ash could shrug, as he nonchalantly held his towel. His mother sighed as she wondered, 'How come Ash never gets lost for long?', along with 'What type of trouble did he get into to this time?' But she'll never know, or maybe she will.

But there was no time for that, she quickly picked up the four-year-old with ease, just like how he held his towel, and they headed to the car they borrowed from Prof. Oak. Opened the back door for Ash to enter, but she spotted Ash holding the towel, making her ask, "Ash why do you still have that towel?"

"Well I... uh, I like it and I could use it for the car ride," Ash said, hoping that the lie could work.

Luckily it did as she didn't push on as she moved to the side, letting Ash inside the car. Ash watched his mother walk to the front seat, to which he placed the towel to his left behind the driver seat so his mother couldn't see the pokemon.

Placing down Latias, Ash loosened his seatbelt to which it has enough room for Ash to lay down. Laying on his side, his head near the towel, Ash raised his hand and rubbed the pokemon. The pokemon hopped around until it was facing Ash's face. Ash gave her a tired smile as he closed his eyes listening to the tune of music that the car was playing.

'Lock the door, sun's a falling,'

'Poke the fire, don't let the cold in,'

'Going to try to sail away from the rest of my life' The voice sang out from the car's radio.*

Ash could partially understand the lyrics from the chorus but it did soothe him. Gently he hugged the towel covering the pokemon as his eyes closed into slumber. Soon after did the Latias sleep as well, snuggling up with Ash.

It was night when Delia, Ash's mother, turned into Prof. Oaks' laboratory. Parking the car, stepping out of the driver seat, heading to Ash's passenger door did she knock on the glass. This stirred Ash and Latias awake.

Ash put his hand on Latias, telling her to be still until he moved to open the door. He yawned as he stretched his legs. "Mom, where are we?" Ash mumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"We're at Prof. Oaks lab. Now come on Ash, I need you to take your towel," his mother calmly asked.

Ash did so without incident, but he wondered why she asked for him to take his towel, but he didn't speak his mind.

Walking up the stairs until they waited outside the gates to the building. It was that Prof. Oak himself opened the gates, letting the family of two, three even, inside. Without knowing what's going on, Ash was asked to sit down in a chair as his mother and Prof. Oak sat in front of him. And they both had concerned faces, making Ash wince. 'Am I in trouble again?' Ash thought to himself.

"Ash I would like to know what's in the towel?" his mother suddenly asked.

"Wait what?" Ash asked, surprised.

"Well, your mother called me here because she thinks that you're hiding something," Prof. Oak explained.

Ash started to sweat as he didn't know what to do now. He didn't have many choices, and lying seems like a terrible choice. Having no choice, Ash let out a shaky sigh as he told his parents, "It's a pokemon,"

"What was that Ash?!" Ash's mother yelled out.

The result of Ash's mom's outburst was a chirp from inside the towel. Delia and Prof. Oak immediately looked at Ash's towel. They sternly looked at Ash, asking him to show them the pokemon. Ash did so as he unwrapped the towel, revealing Latias.

The adult's eyes widened at the pokemon, more so that it was a baby, due to its size. The Latias, however, gave a squeaky yawn, earning an 'aw' from Delia, and sucked on its claws as a baby would. Doing so, Latias turned her attention to Ash, we're she beamed as she hopped on his lap, asking for his attention.

Ash laughed as he picked up the Latias and gave her his love by hugging and nuzzling her. The Latias loved the attention and returned her love as well. While this was happening, Delia and Prof. Oak were staring at each other as they were having to speak with their eyes.

"When did this happen?" Prof. Oak whispered to Delia.

"I don't know, but I did notice Ash run off at the beach. Maybe he found the pokemon then," Delia concluded.

"Even so, we have to set it free,"

"I know, but looking at the size I already know that it's a baby. Shouldn't that mean that its parents should be looking for it?" Delia asked.

With that Prof. Oak shrugged his shoulders as he watched the two young children enjoy each other's company. Delia too has watched the two and couldn't help but aww at the cute scene as the baby Latias crawl up to Ash's body and hug him. Ash in return, would hug her back.

Delia spoke out loud, drawing Ash's attention from the Latias caw.

"So are you going to introduce us to your new friend,"

Ash nodded eagerly as he picked up the Latias, where he turned her to his mom as he brought her to the woman. The Latias however, shrunk back at Delia. Delia gently rubbed her hand on her head, soothing its nerves. Bit by bit did Latias look at Delia until she was fully confident that Ash's mother wouldn't do any harm to her.

Latias reached with her tiny claws as she played with Delia's wandering hands. Delia giggled at the pokemon, especially its reaction when she playfully poked her nose.

"So, Delia. What are you going to do with the pokemon?" Prof. Oak asked from behind.

She put on a stoic expression for a moment as she thought about exactly what could she do. But her expression changed as she became gleeful.

"Well, I guess I have to take care of these two from now," Delia exclaimed.

Prof. Oaks' eyes widened in surprise but he nodded in acceptance. But he still had one question on his mind if he was to allow Delia to take care of the pokemon. He turned his head to Ash and eyed the Latias in the boy's arms.

"Ash. Was Latias by itself when you found it?" Prof. Oak questioned.

Ash nodded solemnly, hugging the Latias close to his body. Prof. Oak shook his head as he turned to Delia where he nodded to her.

Delia gleamed at this as she stood up, ushering Ash to do the same and follow her. They both walked to the entrance where they both arrived at the lab, Prof. Oak following behind. Opening the door, she let Ash and Latias out. Turning to Prof. Oak one last time, Delia spoke, "Thank you for letting us use the car. And thank you for allowing me to care for the pokemon,"

Prof. Oak responded and watched them head out.

As Delia and her son walked through the town did they gaze at the stars that were surely shinning on this day. Latias followed Ash's gaze and she too became amazed at the set of stars in the sky. Latias then reached her claw out and tried to grab a star, this made Ash and Delia chuckle.

"So... Are we going to keep her?" Ash called to his mother.

Delia turned to Ash and nodded in confirmation. Ash beamed at this as he rose Latias in the air as he celebrated. Ash twisted in circles as the Latias laughed, urging Ash to continue. But he had to stop if he didn't want to be too dizzy and fall, or maybe puke.

Delia smiled at the scene, where she then turned forward to see the family house. Reaching up the front stairs, leading to the front door, and entering the house with Ash behind, closing it as Ash walked through.

"Alright, welcome to your new home!" Ash shouted, not loudly, to Latias as the eon pokemon twisted her neck to look at the furniture of her new home.

"Now, now Ash. You have to get yourself cleaned, along with you Latias," Delia said, pointing her finger at them both.

"Aw," Ash wined but he didn't continue as Delia gave him the 'look' that he knew that he didn't want to face. Without a word Ash, still carrying Latias, ran upstairs towards the bathroom, leaving Delia by herself in the kitchen.

Once Ash entered the bathroom, placed Latias in the bathroom rug, and started the water in the tub did Ash began to gather soap and towels. Opening and closing cabinets once finding or not finding what was the need for the bath. While Ash knew how to clean himself, he didn't know how to clean someone else, that being Latias now. This is why Ash gathered soap and towels as he would expect to use a lot of soap for washing a pokemon.

Once the water was near full to the tub, Ash grabbed hold of Latias where he walked toward the tub. However, Ash became concerned as the Latias was whimpering at the sight of the water. Patting her back, Ash turned Latias around where he calmed her, "It's ok Latias, the water isn't going to hurt you,"

But it didn't do much as Latias continued to whimper, along with shivering from the fear and curl into a ball. Suddenly, Ash had an idea to somewhat calm her.

"Do you want me to get in with you?" Ash asked.

Latias turned her head to Ash, with tear-filled eyes, and gave a gentle nod. Ash wasted no time as he pulled off his shirt and took off his shorts and underwear. Now naked, Ash did not want to be in the cold air for long. So Ash picked up Latias as he entered the tub. Standing on the tub, Ash cooed Latias as he slowly fit his body into the water.

Latias however was looking frantically as Ash was sinking into the water, in Latias mind. But Ash was still there, which calmed her for a bit as she was not sitting on his stomach, not wanting to move. Ash, not intentionally, lowered himself more and earned a surprised yelp from Latias as she crawled up to Ash and hugged his neck.

Ash became sad when hearing Latias whimpers, though she wasn't in the water. To the right, the soap was sitting on the edge. With care, he reached above and took one of the bottles. "Shh, it's alright. You're not going anywhere,"

As Ash soothed Latias, he'd gotten a scrub and applied the soap where he washed. Finishing as quick as he can, he scrubbed his neck, down to his chest, stomach and finished with both his arms. Traveling downwards, Ash began to struggle as the Latias was holding him down but he did finish.

Ash splashed water on himself, where it also landed on Latias until the soapy remains were off. Once done, Ash slowly pushed Latias off of him until she was in the middle of the tub. As rude as it sounds, Latias for once looked around, anxious if the water will take her again.

But nothing happened, and that was enough for Latias as she paddled back to Ash. Ash in return, smiled as Latias didn't seem to fear the water anymore. As fast as she was over her fear, Latias swam around in small circles before facing Ash.

Ash rubbed Latias head until he moved his hands and grabbed the soap again. Squirting some to his hands, Ash immediately went to work on cleaning Latias. He dug his fingers into Latias's feathers, getting dirt and sand out. While Ash was busy cleaning Latias, the pokemon would purr in appreciation.

Once Ash finished scrubbing Latias, and washing the soap off did he notice her feathers were ruffled. Ash rubbed her feathers down, but there were a few that were standing tall. Ash shrugged as maybe Latias could fix it herself.

With that into consideration, Ash got out of the tub first where he dried himself. On his knees, Ash drained the plug and picked up Latias with a towel. Ash tip-toed his way to his room only to find a bundle of blankets on the floor.

Hearing footsteps from behind, Ash slowly turned around only to see his mother. She put on a warm smile, as he grabbed the towel from Ash and rubbed his hair, drying it. "Aw mom," Ash groaned out.

"Now, now, sweetie. Go get dressed and get ready for bed. I also made a little bed for that pokemon of yours," Delia spoke, emphasizing 'yours' to Ash.

Ash pouted but complied as he placed the Latias in the bundle of blankets. Once on the ground did Latias begin to groom herself. And on the other side of the room was Ash putting on his pajama pants and top. With careful speed, Ash ran across the room as he hoped over Latias and landed on his bed.

Once Ash was comfortable with the sheets and blankets over his body, he turned to face Latias who was done grooming herself, and whispered, "Good night, Latias,"

Latias chirped, twisting her head in confusion until she saw Ash close his eyes, sleeping in the night. Looking up in wonder, Latias hopped by the side of the bed until she was just below it. With a huff, Latias jumped high as she bit down on the hanging blankets. So she pulled herself up until she was directly on the bed and near Ash.

Ash was holding his neck with his two arms as he slept. But that didn't stop Latias as she would nibble his arm until the top one fell to the side. Smiling in victory, Latias hopped near Ash's head where she cuddled up next to him. Now Latias was between Ash's neck and head.

Ash, however, creaked his eyes open and was confused to see Latias sleep next to him. Ash then closed his eyes in contempt as he wrapped his arms around Latias.

Down in the living room where Delia had invited Prof. Oak to come over, ushered the professor inside the house. After quick exchanges of greetings, Delia and the professor sat down on the couch.

"So, I presume this is about the pokemon?"

"Yes, and it's..."

"How it is a legendary pokemon?" Prof. Oak interrupted, with a quizzical eye.

Delia curtly nodded. Thinking to himself, Prof. Oak was amazed at how young Ash had managed to, not only find a legendary but a baby or even a newborn due to its size. With some questions on his mind, Prof. Oak moved to look at Delia. But maybe he'll get to them at a later date.

"If she had parents, then they should have found her," Delia commented.

Raising his eyes, Prof. Oak nodded as he agreed with the statement. "Yes, they should have. But they haven't. So that means that you have to look after the pokemon then?"

Delia nodded eagerly.

"Well, I wish you luck. But if her parents were to come up, I suggest you'd give her to them to avoid trouble," Prof. Oak warned as he got up and made his way to the door.

Delia nodded and thanked the professor for visiting. Prof. Oak returned his gratitude and closed the door, making his leave and leaving the bewildered woman by herself. She became flustered as she heard herself yawn. Getting up and turning off the lights, Delia walked up to her room but not before seeing the adorable sight of Ash and Latias cuddling with one another. She whispered an 'aw' and then left to her room.

On the other half of the world, did the separation of a family occur? Inside a secret garden, Latios glared at the water, its eyes dull, filled with no life. The Latios turned and saw both Bianca and Lorenzo approach, somber looks they had. Latios was surprised but never showed it, as Bianca threw herself upon him, sobbing her apologies.

Latios, felt a tear escape as he hugged the girl, accepting her apologies. To be honest, who knew what happened. She didn't and most importantly, he didn't know what was happening. Latios floated backward, along with Bianca who moved back as well, then turned and left the area.

Turning to Lorenzo, Latios didn't expect much to happen. And he was right. Lorenzo wanted to comfort him, but he didn't want to. Knowing that, even in Latios state of fresh bereavement, that Latios needs to be alone.

"I'm sorry," Lorenzo said, letting out a watery groan.

Latios nodded and turned to face the water once Lorenzo left. Latios looked up at the moon and then the water and repeated the cycle. But the Latios grew bored, merely with no inspiration in the first place. So off Latios went, to the nest of his home.

Once entering, Latios found the nest that Latias once slept in. Latios could smell the remains of his sister. With a sigh, Latios went to the bed that was owned by Latias and lay there, unmoving. Latios then let out a sob and continued to do so until he fell asleep.
