OK guys. Just gonna start this off like every other FanFic I've read and say I do not own Scooby Doo or any of its characters. Thanks! Now onto the story:
It was still a mystery on how she ended up in Coolsville. Actually – scratch that – she knew exactly how she ended up here.
Growing up a young girl in New York, she had everything she could have ever wanted – trendy clothes, amazing theater shows, friends that adored her, etc. But while people adored Daphne, not everyone adored the Blake family.
A few months ago, Daphne Blake was leaving school when things took a turn for the worse… and that's how she ended up in Coolsville, CA - on the complete opposite coast of the only home she had ever known. Getting out of her car and staring at her family's new home, she knew things were far from over.
Meanwhile, a few streets away:
Shaggy was running. It was the one thing he knew he was good at. He was always the fastest kid in his class growing up, so it just made sense for him to take up track, especially since he had this amazing park close to his house to enjoy. How else would he work off all the food he and Scooby always ate? Scooby Doo, his beloved Great Dane, was his best friend. They were practically inseparable over winter break. Sadly though, school would resume tomorrow, and he'd have to leave him at home alone again. As Shaggy thought about school the next day, he wondered if anything exciting would actually happen in his little, quiet town.
The next day:
Daphne was never good at being to places on time. It wasn't her fault. She just seemed to always run into problems. This morning her car decided not to start. Usually, she'd just take a look at it herself, but with today being her first day at a new school, she really didn't want to be late. And that's how she ended up taking her favorite motorcycle out for the day.
Fred Jones was in his car waiting for the light to turn green. He had a fairly lonely winter break and he was ready to get back to school – where everyone loved him. As he was waiting, he thought about his Christmas spent in Seattle with family. His dad promised they'd have a great time, but as the mayor of Coolsville, he was on constant phone calls, leaving Fred to make awkward small talk with family he rarely saw.
Suddenly Fred was brought out of his thoughts by a purple blur speeding past him. The light had just turned green and he was wondering why anyone in their quiet town would be in such a rush this morning. After a few mor minutes of driving, he finally made it to school where his friend Red and several other guys on the football time were standing by his car.
"Fred, my man, how was winter break," asked Red and giving Fred a bro hug.
"It was alright. Nothing too exciting. Glad to be back though."
Red was about to respond before something caught his eye and he just stared. Fred turned around to see what on earth made his friend stop talking. There, just a few yards away, was that purple motorcycle Fred saw pass him earlier. It wasn't the motorcycle that made people stop to stare though. It was the driver. Ever so slowly they took their helmet off and out came the prettiest hair he had ever seen. Long red hair flowing down her back, she finally turned around and woah. This girl was stunning. In a simple purple tank top and black jeans, time seemed to stand still as he watched her walk up the stairs to the school.
"Well dude," started Red, "looks like things may get exciting around here".
