Skull Island
Dawn, a time of relative peace. Leafwings emerged from the canopies of the lush trees they resided in, sometimes composing the leaves of trees in their preferred swamps, waiting for prey. These Leafwings however, seemed to be forced to live in the lusher jungles of Skull Island.
A small flock flew their way to a 'U' shaped 'bowl' of small rounded mountains. And there lie Kong, peacefully sleeping-in in his makeshift nest. The Leafwings always like to pick away at the giant Dragonflies that hunted the small bugs on the Titan's hide. This bug hunting was occasionally ticklish to the ape's chest. This morning the Leafwings were being a bit rowdy in their hunting, but the moment Kong stirred they scattered back into the skies of the island.
Kong's eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the light of dawn. Raising his arm to shield them after he turned his head too far into the sky. Kong, just before lifting himself up opened his maw, displaying his massive canines in the mother of all yawns. Shaking his head around, the ape finally pushed himself up, ready for his usual routine of his laidback, but still Heavenous solitude.

Walking into a shallow lake leading to his morning waterfall shower King stretched his arms greatly, letting his bare chest soak up the warm morning sunlight. Reaching behind he lightly scratched his rear as he approached his waterfall.
As he entered the cave of his waterfall he crouched over a bit to let the water run soothingly down his back. He scratched his scraggly beard to make it unsraggled. Lifting his head up he took a mouthful of the perpetually falling water. Swiveling it around a bit he then spewed it on a large rock in the cave, giving a small 'Gorilla chuckle' after seeing it explosively deflect off the stone.

After his shower Kong looked around, sniffing the air. Something just wasn't right. He tore a tree from the ground and took a bite of the leafy top like cotton candy. Next he tore the roots off, discarding it to the dirt, then stripping the uneaten branches off, sending leaves and splinters flying in all directions.
But before he could examine what exactly seemed wrong he noticed a familiar dot within the greenery of the jungle. He walked over, tree still in hand to greet Jia, a deaf Iwi child who Kong had formed a special bond with, both understanding that they were the last of their kind, the Iwis and the Kongs. Jia was worried about the ape, she could tell he was a bit distressed even after displaying her special doll that resembled the titanic ape as a morning greeting.
Kong looked back as his makeshift spear. Taking aim he threw it towards the sky, the tree's shape causing it to corkscrew as it sliced trough the air. Soon the barreling wood collided with the edge of the dome, piercing trough the smart-glass and shattering the illusion of paradise around it.
Seeing the betrayal of his confinement, unaware of the unending storm outside, Kong roared furiously as the shattered area's now malfunctioning adjacent tiles pulsated throughout the colossal dome.
-
Blaring alarms echoed throughout the Monarch facility. A robotic voice repeating the same phrase, 'Bio-Dome containment breach detected' while displaying a blue wireframed image of the dome, a flashing orange spot were the tree broke through. Many workers hurried to access the damage while various scientist made their way to the last remaining paradise on Skull Island.
Within the dome, Dr.Irene Andrews was taking notes on Kong's temper. A monarch jeep pulled up, another scientist emerging.
"Dr. Andrews did you see that?"
After a few seconds of silence the female scientist replied. "This habitat's not going to hold him much longer."
"We need to start think about off-site solutions."
"The island is the one thing that's kept him isolated. If he leaves we don't know what Godzilla will do to him, if Godzilla sees him as a threat to the balance of nature he will come for him." She argued.
"This habitat won't sustain him for much long, the Island's too unstable."
Before Andrews could respond Jia returned, worried about Kong she signed "He's Angry"
"Go wait for me sweetie." She replied with sign.
Although she pleaded her eyes Jia quickly obliged and went off. Irene looked back to the dark-skinned scientist. "Off-site could be a death sentence."
"You don't think a King can make a good first impression?"
"There has to be another way." She finished.

Hey, Claire here. I actually found Godzilla vs Kong a very disappointing movie. But one that had a huge amount of potential, the reason I made this was to just maybe relieve some of my resentment towards the movie, such as making a relatively reasonable explanation for Godzilla's 'opinion' of Kong, instead of the contrived 'Titan War'.
I'll do more scenes (specifically the battle scenes to flesh out my vision of the movie."
Thanks for reading, please, tell me what you think of this. But please, no flames, slight criticism is okay but I will not except those tpwho go overboard.
