One Week Later

When Hiccup saw Astrid's ship dock, he rushed down to get the molten Gronckle Iron to the Forge as quickly as possible. Gobber followed behind as did several Villagers. When Hiccup reached the dock, he saw Astrid alone and that meant either Gustav stayed behind or he angered a dragon. Either way it won't end well. When he reached Astrid she whispered Gustav's plan and Hiccup cursed silently. It was hard enough to hide a Night Fury, but add two more dragons then it'll be more difficult. The only good thing is that the two of them managed to bond and fly on a dragon. When Gobber arrived he looked at the molten cauldron in Hiccup's experimental heaters. "What the Hel are those things?"

"Experimental Heaters to keep Gronckle Iron in a molten state." Hiccup answered as he jumped on the boat.

"Gronckle Iron?" Gobber asked and Hiccup explained how it is stronger and lighter than any weapon on Berk.

"So how does one get this Iron?" Stoick asked from behind the crowd. They moved to the Chief can face his son. Hiccup knew that the Holmgang made Stoick even more suspicious of him, but he was left with little choice.

"It involves tricking a Gronckle to eat a certain rock mixture. Then collect the molten iron and build weapons out of them. Inferno is made from Gronckle Iron." Hiccup answered as Stoick jumped on the ship to investigate the molten iron.

"Monstrous Nightmare Gel. Hideous Zippleback Gas, Gronckle Iron. Sound to me that many of your inventions require dragons alive." Stoick remarked as Gobber grabbed a sword from a crate.

"That may be true, but this sword is pretty light." Gobber remarked and the Villager unloaded the cauldrons of molten iron carefully. The Twin tried to steal some of the small canisters but Astrid caught them immediately and banned them from helping. Hiccup smiled knowing that with Viggo still gone, he'll be able to convince Berk that dragons aren't monsters.

Later

"This is blasphemies. Hiccup is using dragon elements to make new weapons." Stoick said to Gobber as the two inspected a Glide Bomb in the Great Hall.

"True, but Hiccup survived all these years without us. He learned to fight his own way." Gobber replied as he measured the wings. "That young man, made things that frankly no one on Berk would dare have thought of. I mean these are pretty impressive."

"Yes, but still. The timing of the Dragon Rider raid wasn't a coincidence." Stoick added as Gobber measured the tail.

"I know you have concerns, but think of it this way. Until you see Hiccup flying one of the beasts, think of him as an amazing Viking." Gobber remarked and Stoick knew that the Blacksmith spoke the truth. Stoick only wished Valka could have seen her boy.

Elsewhere

Hiccup poured the Death Song Amber into the molten Gronckle Iron and began making Inferno III. He felt the heat of the Forge and the Heaters through the long process. But when the blade was complete he made the new handle with careful precision. He had to make metal parts for it, but when he was done, the sword was complete. He put a Monstrous Nightmare Gel Canister in and ignited the blade. He smiled knowing that the Death Song Amber mix didn't shatter immediately. But he swung the sword down a spar anvil and make a good cut in the tool, but the blade came out without a dent. Knowing that the new blade worked, he went back to make a new shield. At that moment, Gobber entered the Forge. "I see you have been busy."

"Yeah. The new mix works well." Hiccup replied tossing Gobber the retracted Inferno. The old blacksmith inspected the weapon.

"I wished we listened to you more. Boy were we wrong about your ideas." Gobber remarked and Hiccup chuckled. The Rider turned to the Blacksmith.

"Hey Gobber. Do you think my ideas can work?" Hiccup asked.

"They are certainly amazing. I can't tell you the future, but just like your father said many times before. You are the pride of Berk." Gobber answered with a smile and Hiccup smiled. "Need a hand?"

"Yeah sure." Hiccup replied as the two worked together once more.

That Night

"Gustav what were you thinking?" Hiccup asked the young Rider. He has spent the day making a new Inferno, Shield, and other weapons for Berk. But now he has to hide three dragons instead of one.

"I couldn't leave Hookfang. We're budies." Gustav remarked as he scratched the Nightmare's snout. The sight reminded Hiccup of him and Toothless back when he was about Gustav's age. "Besides I'll stay here and watch them. Make sure they don't get into trouble."

"Finn." Hiccup said before starting to walk back home. "But remember. Any sign of trouble and you get them out." Hiccup ordered before turning to Toothless. "Make sure Gustav stays out of trouble."

"I can handle myself." Gustav remarked and Toothless gave a laugh.

Next Morning

Heather flew towards the meeting place on Windshear with A Team behind her. The Rider didn't trust Dagur to come alone, so she brought an entire team of Riders to burn Dagur's fleet. But when they arrived, Heather saw a lone ship already docked on the island. She grabbed a spyglass and saw Dagur alone on the island with a table and two chairs. It was a surprise to say at least. She glided down and landed on the dragon. Dagur bolted up and raised his arms out. "Sister!"

"Shut it Dagur." Heather remarked as she got off of Windshear. "You wanted to see me, here I am."

"Okay I sense some hostilities so I assume I may or may have done something to make you angry." Dagur replied and Heather wanted to put her ax in the Berserker.

"You killed our father, set me adrift, and then destroyed my adoptive home!" Heather yelled and Dagur sat down at the table.

"Okay. I understand why you are angry at me, but I learned something from being Chief. I just wished I learned it before. As for our father, I didn't kill him. He just disappeared." Dagur remarked as Heather folded her arms. "I made a lot of bad decisions, but I hope we can have a new start." Dagur added and Heather got on Windshear.

"I came. We talked. Now are you going to have a truce or not?" Heather asked and Dagur sighed.

"Don't worry. If you and your Riders need help, just send a Raven." Dagur promised and Heather launched into the air with Windshear.

Twelve Days Later

Hiccup woke up and stretched. He finished with the last of the Gronckle Iron weapons yesterday. Today he was going on a flight with Toothless. As he walked down the steps, Stoick was already gone. Waiting for Viggo. Within the past week, many of the villagers were impressed with Hiccup for his achievements. The Rider hoped that everything he has done could bring peace between Dragons and Vikings. As Hiccup ran to the Cove, he kept an eye out for the Twins who have been trying to spy on Hiccup. When he reached the Cove, Toothless tackled Hiccup down and licked him. Hiccup managed to push the dragon off, but the saliva covered the Viking. After a quick clean, Hiccup got on Toothless and they soared into the sky. The wind rushed past his helmet and he was enjoying every moment of it. When they leveled out, Hiccup looked down to see a Hunter fleet approaching Berk. Viggo has returned and if Hiccup got Berk to align him, Viggo made sure to be prepared.

Elsewhere

"Viggo." Stoick greeted as Viggo and his brother Ryker got off of their ship. The Hunters spent the last week trying to keep Hiccup's challenger docile. But it is very aggressive.

"Chief Stoick. I brought you a dragon that bring fear into any man even Drago. The Deathgripper." Viggo greeted as the cage was lifted out of the interior. The dragon tried firing its acid flame bursts, but shields kept the damage to a minimum.

"If Hiccup dies fighting that thing, I will hold you responsible." Stoick warned in a threatening tone and Viggo understood that Stoick did care for his son, even with the suspicions.

"If anything get out of hand, a few Dragon Root Arrows will take care of the beast." Viggo lied. He had no intention of stopping the dragon. If Hiccup dies, then the Rider will suffer a blow. Berk will try to slaughter the Hunters but fall under their steel.

Later

"This is bad. Viggo could have gotten a dragon more powerful than Toothless." Gustav exclaimed as Hiccup weighed his options. There was a chance he could delay the fight, but Stoick was wanting Hiccup to prove that he was a Viking and not a Rider. It might be a disaster.

"Gustav, make sure Toothless stays here. It's time for me to prove a point." Hiccup replied and the boy nodded before the Viking ran back to the Village to face whatever lies ahead.
