One Day Later

Hiccup landed on the edge and both Astrid and Gustav dropped the Twins on the island. B Team greeted the Berkians as Hiccup got off of Toothless to help the Twins up. He could tell the two were in awe of the Dragons and Riders. Tuffnut tried to pet Fin Eidson's Snapptrapper, Gust but the dragon snapped back forcing him back. "Sorry, Gust One here can be a bit cranky with newcomers."

"Oh well, I'll go wait over here." Tuffnut replied hiding behind Stormfly. Berg Makson walked towards Hiccup.

"How well did things go?" Berg asked and Hiccup looked down.

"Badly." Hiccup answered before walking to his hut to rest. He entered the hut and dropped onto the bed. He remembered everything that happened. How he was disowned and Viggo's smile. He knew what would happen and Hiccup played along. Now the Hunters had Berk on their side. It was only a matter of time until they launch their fleet and attack the Edge. When he heard a knock on his door, Hiccup got up and walked over. He opened it to see Heather.

"How bad?" she asked and Hiccup sighed.

"Berk is with Viggo, my father disowned me, and to top it off Viggo had me captured. If it weren't for Gustav me and Astrid would be in Viggo's hands." Hiccup answered before dropping back to his bed. "We'll make a plan at dinner at the Great Hall."

"Okay. I'll make sure everyone is there." Heather reported and Hiccup wondered what he was going to do.

"So the Night Fury Hiccup shot down is now his pet?" Tuffnut asked Astrid and Gustav as they ate lunch. The two Riders agreed to answer whatever questions the Twins have which was a great deal.

"Not his pet, more like his friend." Astrid answered and the two Twins looked at each other.

"So can we have a dragon?" Ruffnut asked calmly. Not the usual calm. A mischievous calm. They were plotting something and Astrid knowing them, knew it was to blow something up.

"We could try." Gustav remarked and Astrid gave him a look. "But we need Hiccup's permission."

"Oh come on, we helped you guys. Why can't we get a dragon?" Tuff asked and Astrid looked at the pair.

"You nearly burned down the Forge trying to brighten up Gobber, gave the village food poisoning, burned down Snoutlout's hut." Astrid replied.

"Try releasing the Monstrous Nightmare so you two fight it, broke the docks, sunk mulch and bucket's ship twice." Gustav added.

"Okay, we may have done a few things a bit destructive." Ruff remarked.

"But I say we chilled in recent months." Tuff added.

"The distraction." Astrid and Gustav replied at the same moment.

"Okay so we may be destructive." Tuff remarked.

"But it works." Ruff added with a smile.

"Hey guys." Heather greeted as she entered the Great Hall with Osk Lodin and Styr Agnar.

"I'm guessing you found someone for the Twins to stay." Astrid remarked and Heather nodded.

"Ruffnut will be with Osk and Hollowtail." Heather said and Ruf raised her hand.

"Who's Hollowtail?" she asked.

"My best friend." Osk answered and before Ruff could ask another question Heather continued.

"And Tuffnut will be with Styr and Sky Smasher." Heather said.

"Sky Smasher. Sounds look an amazing name." Tuff replied with a smile and the Twins followed the Riders to their huts. When they were gone, Heather turned to Astrid.

"Did you meet with your brother?" Astrid asked and Heather leaned against the table.

"He says he didn't kill our father. Just said he did when he disappeared." Heather answered and Astrid raised an eyebrow.

"Who are we talking about?" Gustav asked.

"Do you believe him?" Astrid asked ignoring the kid.

"No for a second. But he says he'll accept a truce and that all we need to do is send a raven." Heather answered grabbing the horn she kept to her side.

"Does Hiccup know?" Astrid asked.

"What are we talking about?" Gustav asked and Heather shook her head.

"You're going have to tell him." Astrid remarked and Heather nodded.

"I'll tell him at the meeting today." Heather replied.

"What meeting?" Astrid asked.

"The one at dinner." Heather answered before walking out.

"Who were we talking about?" Gustav asked and Astrid shook her head to silence the kid.

Elsewhere

Stoick stroke the fire in his hut after a meeting with Viggo. His son was gone and it was his fault. Hiccup found a new way of fighting and Stoick watched as he was powerless against his son. His dragons escaped and Stoick wasn't able to stop them. Not even Viggo could stop them. The Viking Chief wondered how they could defeat Drago when they couldn't stop three Dragons and their Riders. When his door opened, Stoick turned his head hoping to see Hiccup but was disappointed to see only Gobber. "What is Gobber?"

"I got some bad news Chief." Gobber answered as he sat next to his friend.

"What other news is there." Stoick remarked remembering the raid last night. How Hiccup led Astrid, Gustav, and the Twins against Stoick and Viggo. For the first time in his life, he felt true pride for his son. Not like the pride he felt when his son lied to his face. But he saw Hiccup show that he was a man, not the boy who left Berk all those years ago.

"All of Hiccup's invention designs were destroyed. But not by a dragon or one of Hiccup's devices." Gobber replied and Stoick looked at Gobber with concern.

"So Hiccup has a spy here in Berk." Stoick said and Gobber nodded.

"What should we do?" Gobber asked and the two stood up.

"Nothing." Stoick answered surprising both of them. "We'll wait for the traitor to play their hand. Then set a trap."

"On it." Gobber replied not convinced that was Stoick's reasoning, nor was Stoick.

Later that Day

"Viggo has Berk, but we have Berserker Island." Hiccup reported to the Dragon Riders as they ate their dinner with their dragons. "But we can use this. Thanks to Gustav and the Twins, many on Berk might still side with us. But to convince the rest of Berk to go against the Hunters, we need to show them and my father that Dragon Riding isn't an evil act and that we can win."

"How do we do that?" Asta Thorlak asked.

"We have the Defenders, Wingmaidens, Skrill Cove, Gila, the Yellow Nadders, and many more allies in this fight. I believe that if combine our forces for an assault, Berk and Viggo will have to see that our way is better." Hiccup remarked and the Riders looked at him expecting a big crazy plan. "Which is why we need to strike at a force feared by both Berk and Viggo. If we can beat them, then everyone who hears of us will see us as a new way of life. Where we can live in peace with dragons."

"So what's the target?" Berg the Loud yelled above the crowd.

"Drago's fleet." Hiccup answered and the Hall turned to whispers. "It's only a matter of time until Drago leaves his fortress and goes on the offensive. But if we use the ice around his fleet, we could trap them and either push forward or wait them out. Either way, this could be our chance to beat Drago. Then we can go and stop Viggo's fleet at Berk."

"But what if we fail?" Tore Orm asked.

"We don't have a choice. Drago has a large fleet and is building more. We need to stop him before he grows too powerful." Hiccup replied and whispers continued. "I'm not expecting you all to fight with me, but I'm asking for volunteers."

"I'm in." Astrid said first standing up followed by Gustav, Heather, Twins, and the rest of the Riders. They haven't done much fighting against Drago, but the madman was going to learn that the Dragon Riders aren't going to fall so easily.

One Day Later

Viggo studied the village seeing how they interact and react to the patrolling Hunters. Ever since Hiccup's escape, the Hunters took over the defense of Berk after the Riders destroyed their defenses. It was clear to Viggo, that the village was divided by Hiccup's betrayal. He knew a spy was still on the island because of Hiccup's designs being destroyed. But who that spy was, he didn't know. Ryker walked behind his little brother and Viggo spotted Stoick entering the Forge. It was clear the Chief knew of the spy as well, but his emotions were clouding his judgment. The man didn't discuss it with Viggo once and was avoiding him. "Ryker. Send a scout ship to the Dragon's Edge. I want to see what Hiccup is planning."

"Of course." Ryker replied before leaving his little brother.

Elsewhere

Hiccup is on patrol by himself to give him time to think. Back on Berk, before he left, Hiccup was a walking disaster. But when he left with Toothless, Hiccup became a leader. He has done things no Viking could ever do with a thousand swords. For years the Rider felt useful. Then he returned to Berk and everything fell apart. Hiccup the Useless returned and now Viggo had control of the island. Everything he was fighting is at risk. First from Viggo, then Drago, and now Berk. Word was sent to his alliance for a meeting. A meeting unlike anything before. So many Chiefs, rulers, and commanders would be discussing the coming battle and Hiccup felt like a disaster. But he looked at Toothless and smiled. He wasn't going to fail fighting Drago and the Dragon Riders were going to overcome everything in front of them.

Three Days Later

"Sir, we can't trust these Dragon Riders." Savage remarked as Dagur waited for the Riders to arrive and pick him up for a meeting. Savage was a loyal soldier to Dagur the Derange, but he was starting to question his Chief when it comes to the matter of his sister and her allies. "Nothing good from dragons."

"I'm the Chief. Not you, so shut up!" Dagur replied and Savage shut up.

"Dragons!" a Berserker yelled and Dagur looked at his spyglass.

"Don't fire! Don't Fire!" Dagur ordered and Savage relayed the order. Minutes later two dragons landed with Riders. Heather and her Razorwhip and a Skrill with an unknown Rider. Savage backed up at the sight of the Skrill. The symbol of the Berserkers was the Skrill and seeing one that wasn't trying to kill them was different. "Sister!"

"Shut it." Heather ordered and Dagur walked to her.

"So I'm riding with you?" He asked and Heather eyed him.

"Do anything stupid and I'll drop you." Heather answered and Dagur climbed behind his sister. They launched into the sky and Savage clenched his fists.

"Sir, an unknown ship has been spotted." a Berserker reported and Savage went to greet them. As he walked, he thought of how un-Viking like Dagur was becoming because of his sister. When he reached the dock a large ship greeted him. The Berserker sailor showed Savage to a tall bald with strange clothes. "This is the ship's captain, Ryker Grimborn."

"Are you the Chief?" Ryker asked.

"No, he is away for a meeting. State your business here." Savage replied and Ryker nodded.

"Just a quick resupply. Lost some food supplies on our journey." Ryker answered.

"Sad." Savage remarked and Ryker pulled out a piece of parchment.

"I also bring word from an Allie. A Viking named Hiccup Haddock is a traitor to his people." Ryker added and Savage's eyes widen.

"The son of Stoick the Vast?" Savage asked surprised.

"Aye. He is a Dragon Rider." the man replied and the surprises kept on coming.

"I think I might be of service." Savage remarked with a grin.

Elsewhere

"Shut up." Heather ordered after being forced to listen to her brother for the last eight minutes. He was asking questions and telling her lies. Or at least what she thought were lies. Thrain and Shadow were with her in case she decided to let Dagur fall.

"Okay. I've done enough talking trying to explain myself. How about you ask me a question?" Dagur asked and Heather turned her head and gave him a death stare.

"Why did you kill our father?" Heather asked and he sighed.

"I didn't. He just disappeared and me being young and rash. Thought it would make me seem tough enough to be Chief." Dagur answered and Heather shook her head. She shoved Dagur off and heard him yelling. Thrain and Shadow dove down to catch her brother. Moments later, she saw Dagur on Shadow Thrain shaking his head. Heather knew Hiccup would be mad, but she didn't care. She just wanted to get Dagur away from her.
