"One hundred thousand, two hundred and forty-eight…"

"One hundred thousand, two hundred and forty-nine…"

"One hundred thousand, two hundred and fifty-Yes!" Olivia cheered to herself.

The pink-haired dancer had woken up bright and early this fine morning to count her theater funds in her soon-to-be husband's study. Oliva had saved every wage she had from the moment she joined the Shepherds so she would have enough gold to construct her dream theater.

Every coin was meticulously counted by the end of the week by Olivia as she strived to reach her goal. Olivia had calculated (or more accurately sought the aid of Miriel) that she would need at least two hundred thousand gold to build a theater that met her exact specifications.

At first it had seemed doable, but everyday expenses just began to pile up. Food, firewood, and of course, taxes. Each chewing into her dream fund.

Olivia was ready to sink into despair, but that changed when she had met her beloved Robin. Robin was one of the only souls Olivia would dare tell about her dream. And like the generous man he was, he had offered to help her construct it. Robin may have been the most skilled of carpenters, but his kindness was irreplicable.

It wasn't a wonder why Olivia had fallen for him. And to the dancer's surprise, he had felt the same way. The same day Robin had proposed, they vowed to get married inside their grand theater. Although, after a few days, the happy couple agreed that maybe it would be quicker to actually hire others to construct their future reception hall.

Now that the dream was shared between the two, funds became more plentiful. Robin had even been so generous as to pay for the two's daily necessities by himself (much to Olivia's vocal opposition at first).

As the royal tactician, he received a more sizable income than other Shepherds. This way, Olivia's wages could go directly into their theater fund while Robin's was used to cover the cost of daily living.

Their financial burdens seemed to be lifted even further when Robin snagged a decent two story home for themselves thanks to his connections to Chrom.

Yet, even after all that, financial roadblocks still popped up as soon as the war against the Grimleal ended.

The war had united Robin and Olivia with two unlikely characters, Inigo and Morgan, who claimed to be their children from the future. It was puzzling at the time, as Olivia knew she wasn't pregnant. At least… She thought she wasn't.

But after the war ended, a simple check up with Lissa had proven that, indeed, Olivia was carrying her and Robin's first child.

While the young couple was overjoyed at the prospect of starting a family, they hadn't thought about what this would mean for their savings. Baby clothes, crib, diapers, all necessities to properly raise a child was more than what Robin's paycheck could cover while it was already stretching it to cover his and Olivia's needs.

Matters were made worse when Inigo and Morgan had figured that they might as well stay in this timeline for the time being. Just in case another Validar or Grima may appear. And with nowhere to actually stay outside the Shepherd's barracks, the two had come to live with their parents.

While Inigo and Morgan were kind enough to pay for their own luxuries, they certainly weren't above having their father cover their food budget. With two more mouths to feed on top of their own, alongside one more expecting mouth, the dancer could feel her wages slowly drying up into nothing.

"I could've asked Inigo and Morgan to share some of their wages…" Olivia recalled. "After all, the two are practically tenants. It would be like asking them to pay rent-NO! What am I thinking? What kind of horrid mother demands her child to pay for her dream?"

Olivia scolded herself. While it hurt to think that her theater was becoming farther and farther away from reality, she knew that it would be selfish and unreasonable to take from her children.

"They already help enough with the baby anyways. Caring for little Inigo when Chrom urgently needs us and all," Olivia reasoned. Thinking back to the day of the delivery, Olivia had never been more happy than she had been seeing her baby Inigo bundled up in Robin's arms.

The dancer only ever dreamt this kind of feeling would happen on the day her theater was completed. A day that may not be seen until her twilight years.

And at that moment, she was content.

"But that may not be the case any longer!" Olivia told herself. "In only a single night, I was able to make twenty thousand gold thanks to Anna. At this rate, Robin and I will have our wedding in no time. Oh, I can see it now! Basilio will walk me down the aisle where Robin will look at me speechless! Chrom as Robin's best man will make a speech etching our union down in Ylissean history! And Morgan will make a perfect flower girl!"

Olivia blissfully pictured her perfect day. Ruminating on whether she should have the Feroxi knife jugglers before or after her dance number with the bears on unicycles.

"Olivia!"

Spooked by the call from her betrothed's voice from downstairs, Olivia fell out of Robin's desk chair. Collecting herself (and her gold) Olivia made her way to their living room.

"I-I'm c-coming, Robin! I'm so dreadfully sorry if I did anything to upset you this morning," Olivia said meekly as she walked downstairs. Despite knowing that she had done nothing this morning beyond counting their gold.

As the dancer reached the living room, she was met with a peculiar sight. Her entire family had gathered (minus baby Inigo). The future version of Olivia's son was sitting off to the right of Robin, dressed only in a bathrobe. While on Robin's left was their daughter, Morgan, dripping wet. Lastly, Olivia's beloved Robin sat in between the siblings. A look on his face that could only be described as 'far more tired than someone who just woke up should be.'

"Kyaa! Morgan, you're soaked? Were you practicing a new water spell? Don't sit on any of the furniture! And Inigo, why are you only wearing just that? You better have undergarments beneath that robe, young man!" Olivia cried at the state her children were in.

"Olivia, dear?" Robin began to speak up. His tone was noticeably restrained, "Where were you this morning?"

"Oh? Well… I-uh… I was simply counting how much gold we had for our theater. You know me, I like to set aside time every few weeks to diligently go over our savings. But what does that have to do with anything?" Olivia deflected sheepishly.

At his future wife's words, Robin turned towards his white-haired son, "Inigo? Would you like to tell your mother what happened to you this morning?"

"Oh, the great tactician is allowing me to go first? Well… If I must... I was just going through my daily routine of making myself the most irresistible man in all of Ylisse. And I just so happened to notice that there was no running water in the sink or shower," Inigo said in a clearly annoyed attitude that made his mother stiffen. "I went down to the basement to check if the water pump was clogged and then-"

"Found me. Face down in a flooded basement," Morgan nonchalantly interrupted. "I jumped face first onto the ground, thinking we finally got a pool installed. Too bad the water was shallow."

"Oh Naga, the basement's been flooded?! We-we need to do something quickly!" Olivia said frantically. Ready to run out of the living room and check to make sure every faucette in the house was off.

"Don't worry, Olivia. I already checked the house after I plugged up any leaks." Robin soothed.

"Bless you, Robin..." Olivia sighed, falling back into a nearby chair. "Do you know what caused it?"

"Looks like it was an issue with the pipes,"

"O-o-oh…? R-really…? W-what kind of p-problems?" Olivia warbled. Color fading from her face.

"That there were no pipes."

The pink-haired dancer began to shutter and retract into herself. With the silence being drawn out, Robin sighed and held up a paper envelope with Anna's Crest on it.

"This was slid under the door this morning when I went to make coffee," Robin began. "It's a receipt. Along with a letter that reads 'Dear Olivia, thanks for hooking me up with those spare pipes you had lying around. The copper is already selling like hot cakes. If you ever need some more dough, give me and my sisters a hollar~', signed Anna."

Olivia furiously fidgeted as Robin read out Anna's letter, exposing the dancer's deed. With nothing else in mind, Olivia lept from her chair, and bowed profusely.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Robin! I wasn't thinking!" Olivia wept. "When we were on our last mission, I asked Anna how to raise gold quickly and she said that raw materials like iron, silver, and copper fetch a high price! I remembered that we had some pipes made of copper, and I thought maybe we wouldn't need to worry about them for the time being… I didn't know how many I had taken! I wasn't trying to cause a flood!"

As Olivia hysterically bawled on the floor, Robin got out of his seat. Crouching down, he put a reassuring hand on Olivia's back.

"Is that it?" Robin asked. His voice was as comforting as always. "Olivia, you know we're going to have enough gold to make the theater. I promised you that when I proposed. It might not be right now, but we're going to hit our goal."

"I… I… *hic* Should… *hic* Known…" Olivia choked on her own words. "I'm so terrible! So short-sighted! You deserve a better wife and mother!"

"That's not true, mother," Morgan said as she lept off her seat. "You're already so amazing! Why you managed to strip the entire basement in a single night without any of us knowing! I didn't think anyone outside of Gaius was capable of such a feat."

The pink-haired daughter's brand of encouragement only seemed to make her future mother cry harder.

"If you wanted your theater that badly, you could've just told us. I'd be happy to give you a cut of my earnings," Inigo said. "I already buy a bunch of expensive gifts for beautiful ladies. What's wrong with doing the same for my mother?"

"No! I could never ask that of you… This whole theater… I-it's my dream. It's my responsibility to save. Not siphon money from my kin!" Olivia croaked.

"Olivia. Look at me." Robin said firmly. He was by no means an authoritative personality like Basilio or Fredrick, but whenever the white-haired tactician spoke of something urgent, he could command all the attention in the room.

Staring up from her quivering pile, the pink-haired dancer was met by the same kind eyes that she saw when they first got engaged. Eyes full of boundless compassion that she could get lost in forever.

"This isn't just your dream anymore, Olivia. It's ours. Our family's dream." Robin explained, gently bringing his hand off Olivia's back. Sliding it down her shoulder and arm till their hands met. "I want to see our theater, in all of its grandiosity, right beside you. Sometimes I can't go to sleep after I've worked myself up so much with thoughts of all our friends dancing and eating alongside us. Able to finally call ourselves 'husband' and 'wife' in the eyes of Naga."

"Plus, Inigo and I will get a chance to see your wedding in real time. It's a memory I can't wait to make," Morgan added.

"*sniff* You mean that?" Olivia asked, her eyes looking a bit more dry.

"I'd never lie to you, Olivia," Robin smiled.

Robin lifted Olivia up off the ground. Yet as soon as she was back on her feet, the dancer leaned in and tightly hugged her beloved. Resting her head on Robin's shoulders and wiping some of her tears on his coat, Olivia thanked Naga silently that she was blessed with such a kind man to call her husband.

The dream-their dream-would see the light of day. That seemed clearer than it ever had been before. With the four of them together, Ylisse would see the greatest theater hall the world would ever know. Because none was built with the same love and kindness that Olivia's family had for her.

"We're going to need to take some money out to pay for new pipes though. And a little extra to get the basement drained," Robin lightly chuckled.

"...Drats…"

A/N: Hey guys, Arkus here. So this is a little something I've I've wanted to do for awhile, as Robin x Olivia was my the pairing I did on my first ever playthrough of FE Awakening. They're cute and their Morgan and Inigo are even cuter. So I wanted to try my hand at doing some drabbles of the pair as I thought it deserved some love.

I've been working on a lot of stuff in the time between this and "Mission with a Ghost Girl" Mainly because I wanted to flesh out some ideas before I fully committed to something. This more drabble style collection will give me a nice reprieve if I ever need it and it'll allow a nice amount of family one shots. I will say it might not be updated as quickly given my new work schedule, but it will be something I want to come back to.

Anyway, if you did enjoy this fic and want to see more please leave a fav or follow or even leave a comment. Till next time, thanks for reading.
