I'm back bitches with another chapter so let's move on to the story shall we?!

Chapter 18: Propaganda

(Londonium, Albion)

Pacing back and forth inside his study, Count Norman Alford was in currently in a dilemma. It's been a month since the royalist faction fell and reconquista took over the reigns. He was in turmoil of what he's next move will be. He'll never make himself side with a bunch of religious twisted fanatics and pledge loyalty to that bastard delusional priest, all Norman wants is revenge.

His father the previous Count was a loyal subject of the previous king and when the civil war broke out his father was one of the unfortunates that was perished in the battle. To save his family he as the next heir of the Count had no choice but to submit to the reconquista rule when they took over the Capitol but with a great price that until now he deeply regretted to this day. One of the most loyal followers of Cromwell Marquis Graham demanded his sister Rowena to be it's mistress which he furiously refuse but his sister told him that this is the only way for their family to survive and so for the sake of her family she prepared herself to accept her fate. Norman at first was reluctant but with their current situation he finally gives in with frustration. Many nobles eyed his sister because of her beauty that could compare to a princess and surely one of them is that old hag Graham. With his two siblings left in his care he must do anything to make them safe so he carefully making his move contacting the royalists and feeding them information as a spy.

But all was crumbling one by one as the series of misfortunes befallen to him. He one day got suddenly received a grave news that his sister Rowena died in an accident at the Marquis manor. His face paled by this news and hurriedly made his way to the Marquis estate demanding that he needed to see his sister but to his anger they didn't allow him and instead said that they already burned her remains as a sign of respect. What respect? They cremated her without his consent? This cause Norman to infuriated more and shouted in pure anger and hatred at the gates of the estate. He vowed to himself that he would find out what happened and avenge his sister. He believed that their is something wrong with her sudden death so he investigated until he found out the truth. He found out that it was not an accident but a murder, the Marquis's wife push his sister into the stairs that lead to his sister's demise. He also found out that the Marquis's wife was abusing his sister physically everyday that lead to her many wounds and cuts all over her body. The worst, even the Marquis himself turned a blind eye from it and probably knows what's really happening when he's out and not also count that he's a pure sadist that also help his wife from tormenting his sister further when he force her into bed. A maid working in Graham's manor that he manage to convince told him everything. When he heard all of this his heart was shattered to pieces. His beloved sister that he cared a lot was suffered and died helplessly without him knowing and he couldn't forgive himself for that. Her life in that place was hell and he already imagined what his sister gone through all of it. He started to regret the day that he let her go to her fate and be sent into that hellish place. He should stop her instead but the safety of his entire family was at stake! No matter how difficult the situation is he should find another way to solve it but his incompetence in that time was to be blamed, or so he believes. On that day he swear himself he will get his revenge no matter what, for his sister and for his family. So he continued to become a royalists spy behind enemy lines in hoping it would help his Highness to defeat reconquista and one day getting revenge to that Marquis and his criminal wife.

Unfortunately, it's not always go in the way he wanted.

He got the news that the last royalists stronghold in Newcastle has fallen and the crowned prince was slayed in the attack. He was mortified by the news, the royalists has crushed and the civil war is over with there adversaries emerge victorious. What's he going to do now, how can he get his revenge? Is this the heaven's will to let go this bastards of their crimes? WHY...?! All this questions he keeps asking in air. He was almost fallen into despair unable to think of what he's gonna do from now on since he is now alone in this fight. But still, in the end he steeled himself and carry on to proceed for his pans of vengeance. He promised to his father and sister to avenge them after all, also to protect his remaining family members.

Weeks have passed and now he was critically thinking of what he should do. Just some weeks ago that a new civil war broke out and this time between the holy state of Reconquista and the new unknown rebels peasant faction that suddenly pop out of nowhere in the south. At first he was not quite believe that this rebels made out of untrained peasants would last long against a magically boosted Reconquista so it didn't even put his hopes for this group. But after a series of defeats reconquista suffered by the hands of this rebels he suddenly turned his head full 180 to them. He first wanted to confirm it whether it's true or it's just one of reconquista's propaganda tactics but as he thinks it would not make any sense for them to spread this blowing morale news. Once he confirmed the reports was indeed true he was completely baffled from these. The rebels not also manage to defend themselves but also conquered most of the territories in the southern region especially the strategically important port of Plotsmouth. How can they manage to pull this out? Are they really made out of peasants? Was an outside force like in the mainland was behind them? What's their goal? Who are they...? No matter, all of this will be answered if he manage to make contact with them, but the biggest problem here is...how?

The longer he thinks about this will just giving him headaches so he decided to put this matters aside on the next day and needed some place to relax a bit. A certain tavern came across his mind and with that he prepared himself to go outside. He leave his carriage behind and disguise as an ordinary person wearing a cloak to hide his face to not attract any unwanted attention while he walks on his way there. Little did he know outside his manor a group of mysterious people hiding in distance looking at him exiting his manor at the gates while walking his way to his destination.

(Village Of Caldwen, Albion)

"You tired?" Stanford asked as he handed out a bottle of water.

"You bet so." Prince Wales replied as he grabs the bottle, it's not easy to stand in front of the stage facing a crowd in a broad daylight of heated sunlight while making your speech. Stanford sits beside him as he also drinks his bottled water and spokes afterwards.

"Just bear with it but don't worry just one more town to visit and this propaganda campaign will be over. You should understand for what cause we do this for you know." Prince Wales just nods to his statement and understands why they needed to do this, to gain support from the populace from each town and villages under their control that they visited. Boosting their military, supplies and morale to continue their war effort through propaganda. Through this they can convince the common people to fight for their freedom against the oppression of the current authority.

In this campaign, prince Wales was the one who will deliver the speech in front of public. This will be his routine in every places they go. Stanford prepared a speech for him but also advices to add his own thoughts with this as it will be a good idea in order to gain confidence in his words. Words comes from the heart is the most effective propaganda to capture the sympathy and beliefs of the people especially if they're looking for someone who will lead them to path of free life.

People at first think that they are royalists but Wales himself clarified that they are different although with him as a symbol and the new system they'll establish will only focus on the common folks livelihoods and rights. He explained that nobles would have no longer power over them and rest assured that no one would belittle or abuse them anymore because with this new system they will have a chance to achieve the same benefits that the high society receives. No more division and words like commoners and nobles are non existent in this new government they will implement. The people seems to believe his words, well he is famous among the ordinary people and the only one who sympathizes to them all. Stanford's plan of choosing him is really effective to catch the people's support and being a well known figure to the peasants is quite a bonus.

Along with prince trustworthy character and with this propaganda it's easy for the allies to pass to the people the idealism of freedom and Democratic concepts. This liberating ideals is a tempting for this people that they would willing to gamble with. Stanford uses the people's discontent to their current system into his advantage as a means to bolster his war efforts and end this conflict as soon as possible before the imperials and the Soviets started to get suspicious in this floating country. Once everything is in place it would be easy to him to handle his next move regarding about Zaric and Hiraga albeit he could not afford to antagonize these two. But putting that all aside first because he need to deal with the current issue now.

"Alright let's go visit the development area and see the progression status there." Stanford stands up and Wales followed suit after he drinks. Escorted by a group of peacekeepers they walk their way towards there destination. Passing through the town they see some bit of good changes in this place. Thanks for the efforts of the engineering unit they provided each villages and towns within their control some aids like good housing, water line supply, medical programs and agricultural advancement making the daily lives of commons more comfortable and definitely would gain people's trust over them. Wales seeing this now truly believes at Stanford's claims of a better change. No one in power would do such lengths for this people but Stanford lend a helping hand without hesitation and not expecting something in return but a support to their cause which is also for their own sake. He didn't want anything but their freedom and he even didn't want to be a king. Such a selfless person that did not take advantage on anything and someone like him was so rare to find.

Finally arrived at there intended destination, Stanford and Wales both saw some allied soldiers and engineers along with volunteers working on the water supply line project. A pipeline that will connect to a water wheel from a nearby river and send it directly to every household in the village. Although it will be a hassle to connect it inside the houses so they instead put some faucets in each every backyards for a quick water access. With this the villagers will no longer need to fetch water at the river everyday because the water itself will come to them. This development projects are not also limited in this area. In some places that they've been visited recently they also advocate some sanitary hygiene programs by building some public toilets for the populace and also an irrigation system for those agricultural areas. Through this, building trust among the people will just be an easy feat.

Wales and Stanford walking towards the site greeted with a salute from the soldiers working as they notice the two approaches.

"Sirs!" A soldier at the front greeted.

"At ease." Stanford returns the salute and waves the others to continue their work.

"How's the project?" Stanford asked the soldier who greeted him regarding the water line project.

"We reach 50 percent done sir." The soldier replied. Stanford nods in satisfaction, so far so good.

"Hm good almost halfway there. Continue the work." Stanford nodded and the soldier complies then return to his work. The two of them proceeds to spectate the area. Stanford checks the status of every work, supervise them and at the same time teaching Wales regarding this projects.

"What do you think about this project?" Stanford asked Wales standing beside him while both still looking at the water line construction.

"Quite amazing and beneficial to me. Never thought that this would be possible, water for every household. It will make their livelihood easier because of this." Wales replied. Of course, water is one of the main necessities humanity needs for everyday life so Stanford made it a priority including agriculture and housing as a basic needs of every person. The young prince face Stanford and slightly bows in front of him with gratitude.

" I have proven with my very own eyes that your true to your words and with that on behalf of my people I thank you for everything you've done for them so far. Words may not be enough but I'll assure you once we win this war we will repay you for your kindness in any means." Wales promised but the young commander eases him in the matter.

"No need to repay me. Just do your own duty as a public servant for the people and I'll do mine, a soldier protecting their freedom and happiness." Stanford counters it with his own as he just wants to do this without any exchange. Wales just politely smiles as he lifted his head, truly the humbleness of this person is unbelievable but still truthful. The two afterwards proceeds to their own duties as Stanford teaches Wales about this stuffs he doesn't know of. From afar, a small figure is watching them with it's almond color eyes especially focuses on the commander himself.

"Minnie what are you standing there, help me give this people some drinks!" Her mother call her out that snaps her out in her gaze.

"Yes mama, I'm coming!" She replied back as she goes back to help her mother but not before she took a glance one last time to the commander. She felt somewhat so happy when finally her saviour comes back at the village he first save. It's been a long time since she last saw him and she will make sure to make an opportunity to talk to him before he left again.

(Royal Palace, Tristain)

"Have you gained anything from Richemont?" Henrietta asked to Agnes.

"Yes your majesty, with the help of Zaric we've gained a lot from him." Agnes replied positively. Using the truth serum that Zaric provided they manage to gauge some information from this traitorous minister. He is one of the moles that Saito and his shinobi units manage to capture during a clean up operation.

During the interrogation they found countless atrocities perpetrated by him starting from the reigning days of the previous king, Henrietta's father. This bastard committed so many acts of corruption and crimes just for his greed for power until he collaborated himself to Reconquista in exchange of making him a king after they conquer Tristain. In one of the interrogations Agnes almost attacks him with rage when she found out that he is the mastermind behind the purging of D'Angleterre, Agnes hometown. The leader of the musketeers was the only survivor of the town that was razed to the ground under the false accusation of being a town of heretics and usurpers. He did this atrocious act just to get a favor from the church. Henrietta can't believe that their is such a monster lurking around her but thanks to her trusted friends they manage to unravel the wolves hiding among sheeps.

"And I also have some his spies who worked for him behind the shadows and are the one's who did some dirty jobs for him." Agnes handed out a list of the traitor's associates. Those people who collaborated with him in the past and also this present. Henrietta looks at the contents and it seems that this backstabber has formed so many connections until this day and most of them was thankfully been captured on Saito's hunting operation.

"Your Highness...this maybe kind of alarming but it seems one of those spies of his was also become one of our musketeers." Agnes suddenly revealed. Henrietta froze from her seat and look at her bodyguard.

"W-what do you mean?!" Henrietta was caught off guard. Shock that one of her musketeer unit was an enemy spy. As everything reveals one by one she felt somewhat terrified of how close her enemies was. If this people didn't get caught she would become a vulnerable target to them. She feels unease as she thinks about it but now she can relaxed.

"Your majesty it seems they planted some spies within our ranks. But rest assured your majesty we already knew them all so we will rounding them up and eventually root out this bastards within the palace." Agnes eases her visible worries. Henrietta smiles in gratitude because there's some reliable people around her that will help her in this trying times.

"Thank you Agnes I know you and Zaric are my best subordinates out here that I can wish for." As long as they help each other in this, Henrietta's dream of a better Tristain will be within her grasp.

(Somewhere in Tristainia, Capitol Of Tristain)

Michelle was running non stop to lose her pursuers. Not long ago since she felt like someone was following her and her guts did not betray her as she was now been chased by unknown figures. She use alleyways to evade them but it seems like this people knows where she was going and always ended up finding her. She turns around on a corner and finally meet up a dead end. Knowing that she has nowhere to run she pulls out her sword and faced her pursuers.

"WHO ARE YOU?! SHOW YOURSELVES!" She shouted ready to face them. As if complies to her demand, five people shows up in front. Wearing typical clothing while holding strange looking muskets (AK-47). Michelle narrowed her eyes on those firearms as it seems looks familiar but she widens in surprise when she eyed the person in the middle.

"M-MISS ZARIC?!" She blurted out in shock.

"Michelle." Zaric said just looking at her.

"What is the meaning this?!"Michelle asked in shock.

"I should be the one asking that to you." Zaric fired back.

"W-what do you mean?!" The musketeer girl asked hesitantly, having a bit clue of what she meant.

"Still acting innocent? Fine, I'll tell you. You've been conspiring against the traitor Richemont. And you, are one of his lackeys who working under him. We have enough evidences about your connection to him and he himself just ratted out every, single, one of his goons including you." Zaric explained to her which brought a shattering expression on a stunned musketeer.

"What...t-that's-"She was almost speechless but Zaric continues it for her.

"Impossible? Believe me it already happened so if I were you I would be obedient and come with us peacefully." Zaric suggested to her in a peaceful manner.

"Wait, should we talk this for a minute?!" Michelle pleaded trying to delay her arrest while readying her hand to grab her hidden wand.

"Yes we have a lot to talk about once we bring you for interrogation." Zaric replied to her but also aware of what's she up to. The armed men then slowly approaches to apprehend her when suddenly she swiftly pulls out her wand and pointed it to them but Zaric beat her to it as the wand suddenly flung to her hand accompanied with a loud bang. She winced at the sudden event and looks at the perpetrator, Zaric holding her magnum revolver with it's barrel smoking.

"It's useless, I know the fact that you are a fallen noble so that's makes you a mage." Zaric said to her which brings her into frustration.

"NO DAMMIT, I WON'T LET THIS END NOW! NOT UNTIL I GET MY REVENGE!" Michelle yelled in defiance a she pulls her pistol but was also flung away by Zaric's shot. She flinched and takes a step back staggered by the impact of the shot. But this did not stop her as she pulls out her sword and charges towards them with a yell. The men was about to shoot her when signalled them to stop.

"I'LL HANDLE HER!" She declares as she pulls out her twin titanium blades and clashes with Michelle head on. Zaric locks her sword into her twin daggers like a scissor and trap it within her grasps. Zaric waves it sideways to lessen her grip and then suddenly waves it to the other side loosening Michelle's hold to her sword by the sudden move throwing it out effectively. Not giving Michelle a time to react Zaric place her blade inches away from the musketeer's neck.

"It's over." Zaric concluded. Michelle gritted her teeth in anger and Zaric seeing that knowing that she will still attack immediately apprehend her as she was now laying on the ground with tied hands.

"ZARIC YOU WILL REGRET THIS! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF MONSTERS YOU ARE SERVING!" Michelle yells out on top of her lungs. Zaric just sighs in exasperation.

"Again I should be the one who said that to you. I bet you've been mislead to something. You of all people should know what kind of person the queen is. Tell me Michelle on your view, do you think she is a monster?" Zaric asked her in the eyes. Michelle just suddenly went quite as she thinks about that. It seems it all sinks in to her now and Zaric proceeds to speak.

"Whatever her father did to your family, Henrietta has nothing to do with it. She's just an innocent young kid during that day. And passing her father's sins to her is nothing but unfair to her side." Zaric added to her shame. Directing your anger to a wrong person is nothing but unjustified.

"It seems that I also need to enlighten you into something about your family and what kind devil your boss is." Zaric concluded that Michelle has been deceived all this time.

"What are you talking about?!" Michelle asked confusingly.

"All will be reveal for you soon." Zaric just replied to her in simplicity. Zaric then stands Michelle up to her feet and escorted the captive to bring her back.

(Havilland Palace, Londonium Albion)

Cromwell was getting impatient, pacing back and forth in his study room. It's been weeks since he sent an order to pull out all forces in those areas. They should have arrive by now or even yesterday, but unfortunately not even a single soldier arrive at the capitol's gate. So he decided to sent out some people to check those places and was now waiting impatiently in his room for their report to arrive. While waiting he was in deep thought about this whole scenario. What could possibly go wrong? The unknown identity of this rebels, their strength, their number, or are they really just commoners? They have no clue about this adversary of his but only according to report but a group of peasants...are they? This confusion makes him only scratch his head in irritation. He hates being in the dark of all this happening in his kingdom. He needed information but when they tried to spied on this unknown enemy there's no one manage to come back. Just who the heck are they?!

While he was muttering in frustration someone suddenly barge in his room unannounced.

"Your holiness urgent report!" An aide suddenly blurted out in alarm for what seemingly an important news. Cromwell was almost yells out in anger at him but he manage to compose himself because it seems that the news his aide brings was of necessary.

"What is it?" He asked with intimidation. Make sure that his reason to barge in was of importance or not his head will separated from his body.

"T-th-the scouts that you sent a day ago has returned your holiness and they bring a grave news!" The aide was stuttered and profusely sweating but manages to speak. Now Cromwell's expression was not of that intimidation but a frown, hearing it wasn't good.

"What are they found there?" He asked again with authority.

"T-they found out that the villages and towns where our reinforcements was supposed to be sent here was now at...the rebel hands." The aide said while looking down at the floor not wanting to see the incoming enrage face of their leader. The next thing happens was a sound of a shattered glass in the floor and an angry roar was heard in the entire room. The aide just squirmed in his position wanting to be invisible and prayed not to incur his wrath. After a few moments everything went quite and Cromwell started to speak.

"How did this happen?" Cromwell asked with a venom on his voice. The aid gulp and carefully replied.

"W-we don't have an idea of what really happened there your holiness. When they arrive at those places they saw it from distance that it was not even purge or burned so they check the garrison bases using a far sight spell and they are shock from what they saw. Our flag that was supposedly fluttering there was replace by an unknown flag. The flag was blue in color with an eagle design spreading it's wings. They have no idea what it is but one thing's for sure, those places has already fallen to the rebels hands and that flag was definitely from this rebels." The aide manage to complete his report and catch off his breath he didn't even know that he was holding.

"Those bastards, all of them are incompetent! How in the world this happened. 5 locations in the short amount of time?! PREPOSTEROUS, ABSURB!" Cromwell wanted to deny this but that is only an acceptable explanation why they didn't arrive here. As he gritted his teeth in anger he realizes something.

It's all his officers fault. YES, ABSOLUTELY! Those good for nothing soldiers of his was the one to blame why all this misfortunes happened. He just appointed them into their ranks but that was all. They all nothing but a bunch of power hungry pigs who knows nothing in battle. He only accepted them because of their magical prowess but he didn't expect that decision of his would backfire greatly. This the only explanation he thinks about why the rebels captured this multiple locations, but this is no longer of concern now since the result was already there and he had nothing to do about it.

" I have a new order, sent some messengers into Saxe-Gotha, Rosyth, Newcastle, and Wexington to assemble there forces and prepared to leave to Londonium." Cromwell gave out his new sets of order.

"But your holiness, those places are so important, we cannot leave it undefended! If we pull them out now the rebels will take it over and they will have a huge advantage against us!" The aide tried to convince him. Those places was too important to give up. Saxe-Gotcha is the front shield of their Capitol, the only gateway town through Londonium. If the rebels capture it they can stationed there and use it as a front against the Capitol. Newcastle is the main resources of their arms supply, the very reason why the royalists makes it as there last stronghold. Rosyth is the town where airships is manufactured and the only port that was under their control. And Wexington is the last nearest city that supplied them food resources, losing it will definitely cut off their food supply.

"It doesn't matter now, we are in a precarious situation and I cannot afford to lose more manpower than before. We need every experience soldiers we have against this unpredictable upstarts." Cromwell justified his decision to bolster their strength here at the Capitol because once this place lost, it will be matter of time for everything they build so far to crumble.

"Um your holiness, you want also to initiate scorched earth in this places too?" His aide asked for the possible initiation of the same plan to deny enemies to gain further resources.

"Leave it, it's a waste of time and I don't want to repeat the same failure from before. I need this men to hurry up and get here as soon as possible. We don't know what's this rebels next action so they need to do this quick." Cromwell thinks that it would be safe if they leave as soon as possible. Taking long to those places would invite unexpected events to occur just like the previous one, he need to do this safely.

"Yes, I will pass out your orders right away!" The aide bows and immediately went out of the room. The ambitious priest just sits in his chair and rub his temples. All he need to do is to wait again and pray to Brimir that this time everything will go well.

(Downtown Londonium, Albion)

At one of the taverns in the downtown area of the Capitol, Count Norman was chugging his ale. This was his way of relieving stress and it seems already his habit since he lost his father and sister. At one time he want to temporarily forget all this heavy burden for a while but in the end, his burdens will never go away. While drinking his last mug a man in hood sits beside him and too ordered a drink.

"Two order of ale please, one for him." The man said his order to the counter while pointing his thumb to Norman which the said Count raised his brow on him.

"My treat Mr. Norman." The mysterious man look and just said to him but Norman hearing his name mentioned from the man's mouth caught him on alert.

"Just relax, no need to react like that. I'm not here to antagonize you." The man eases him and then the two ale he ordered places in each of them.

"Who are you?" Norman then quietly asked enough for the only two of them to hear. The man in question drink his mug first before he replies.

"My name is of no importance. I'm only here to give you a favor." The man said and then faces him.

"If you want to avenge your sister then meet me at the back of this building outside. Remember this is a one time offer so I'll wait you there in 10 minutes" The man then drinks the last content of his mug and stands up. Placing his payment at the counter then leave the premises. Norman was left quite, he was stunned from what he heard. A man suddenly appeared out of nowhere offered him a chance to avenge his sister and this man seems to know who he is. It was quite worrying that their is someone out there knows of his situation and motives but this man he just met here offered him a chance for revenge? That was unheard, what would they gain from that? For him this is quite suspicious and he thinks it was a trap to caught him on the spot but a part of him said that what if those words are genuine. If he denies he might lose the chance for his desire to punish those people who wronged his family. He was contemplated for a bit and came out with a decision, he need to take a gamble. With that he drinks up the booze that was given to him and leave to the exit to meet this person.

At the back alley of the tavern, Norman arrives with awareness to his surroundings. As he entered the alley he immediately saw the man but he was not alone. Another two hooded man standing beside him and was enough for the young Count to took alertness, preparing his wand hiding in his clothes.

"Glad you came, and don't worry we're not here to harm you. We just want to talk." The hooded man assures him to be relax. Hearing this people wants to talk to him not ambushing him he eases a bit but still not lowering his guard.

"What do you guys want?" He asked them demandingly.

"Simple, join us and we will help you get justice for your sister." The man replied his question then they remove their hoods showing their average looking faces that will pass to be some typical commoners.

"And before you ask who we are. We are the rebel forces from the south. I knew you already know about us since we've been kicking Reconquista asses so far. As for why we are here, we've been sent here by our superior to fetch you out to become our negotiator. As for why we know? Well, prince Wales himself recommended you." The man throws away some heavy revelations to the Count and the young Count himself widened his eyes in complete shock especially when he heard about the prince is alive and is in league with this famous rebels.

The rebels, the very people he'd been looking forward to meet was now in front him.

"So, what do you say?" The rebel said to a shock Norman.

( Village Of Caldwen, Albion)

Stanford just finish his supervision and decided to go back at the camp. He told Wales to go back first because he needed a plenty of rest for his next place to visit. When Stanford was about to go he heard a voice calling to him.

"Umm, hi..." Minnie calls his attention and she was successful of doing it.

"Oh, hey." Stanford unable to say anything but seems recognizes the young girl in front of him.

"Do you...remember me?" Minnie finally asked if the commander still recognizes him.

"Yeah, I do remember you. Your name is Minnie right?" His reply brought a huge smile to the girl.

"I'm so happy you still remember me! I thought that you completely forgot about me." Minnie just let out huge sigh of relief as her hero still did not forget about her.

"Ah sorry about that. I was so busy in this couple of month so I have no time to go back here unless it's necessary. You know hero work?" Stanford explained.

"Anyways, how's your mother by the way?" Stanford asked as he changed the topic.

"She's doing fine Mister. I help her tending the workers here by gathering some food for them." Minnie replied happily, having a conversation with him somewhat make her smile.

"I see, you've been a girl all this time. I'm so grateful that I manage to save you along with your mother back then." Stanford said as he starts patting her head with comfort. This makes the cheeks of the young girl goes red.

"Ummm Mister... I want to say something from you..." Minnie said with a bit shy.

"Hm, what is it?" Stanford asked, wondered. The young girl took a moment before she manage to say her sentence.

"Can I come with you?"

TO BE CONTINUED...

It takes than a month for me to make an update. I was having a hard time doing two stories at once because I also need to think a good plot for the other story. Anyways here's the Omake for you.

(Imperial Central Base Command, Tristain)

Just another normal busy day for imperial base. Sounds of engines, soldiers doing tasks and trainings, engineers doing maintenance and a certain bald fellow with eyeglasses who pestering non-stop to Saito.

"THIS IS AMAZING MR. SAITO, WHAT KIND OF CONSTRUCTS ARE THIS?!"Colbert with sparkling eyes referred to the buildings that supplies power to the entire base.

"That's a Giant Generator, it gives power to the entire base to make it run and operates." Saito explained.

"I see, so this amazing construct is responsible for giving your base a magical power to operate then. I wonder where this things getting it's sources of power. Is there some magic core inside it?"

"Nope, it's solar powered which means it's source of energy is the sun itself." Saito further explained while pointing at the sun in the sky.

"WHAT, But how is that possible, to harness the power of the sun itself?!" Colbert was bewildered by this information. He was fully amaze by Saito's people in another world that they manage to find a way to borrow the sun god's power.

"You see those three pillar towers at the top. It's a kind of device that absorbs the solar heat rays emitted from the sun. Then it restores the energy it gathers inside into some kind of container and convert it into an electrical source so that when it's nighttime it can still sustain an entire base enough power to run overnight." Saito elaborates all the basic knowledge he knows about the generator. Colbert understands it a bit, he knows about electricity thanks to the books that Saito gave to him which is English so he could understand it.

As the two ventures around the base, the professor always asks him with enthusiasm and excitement about all the imperial structures he saw like the ore refinery which is the main sources of income of the base

Colbert was so fascinated about this ore collector carriages that can drive on it's own without a coach. The Dojos where the infantries stationed at which Colbert witnesses their training and his attention was focus on the group of tank busters that sprung out and hide in the ground like earth images and rocket angels that gracefully flies in the skies doing some stunts. The Mecha bay factories where the vehicles are made and assembled and the professor was quite skeptical to those flying metallic bugs that repairs the vehicles the spot. At last the Nanotech Mainframe facility where the research and development of the imperial tech is held and Colbert enjoyed this technological marvel that was possible without magic very much.

So many things in this base did not cease to amaze the professor. The more he dug into this the more he desire to know about the secrets within this magical things especially when he read this books about physics, chemistry, engineering, and many more science related stuffs the more he realizes that they still ignorant of the things around them. So much knowledge that he wants to discover and many possibilities to unlock. He also started to think now what if he combined science and magic, what would be the result? As he thinks it, he just becoming excited to know this new field he was indulging in.

"You know Mr. Saito, the more I discover this marvellous things around, the farther I fully understand that the possibilities are endless. With this I can help the people to change for the better and I really thank you for that." Colbert gives his utmost gratitude to Saito.

"Sigh, it's nothing professor. I'm just giving you a favor since your not some stranger to us. You've been a big help for Louise as a teacher for improving her a lot." Saito just beat it as no big deal to him. He knows Colbert very well as a friend and an acquaintance from the academy and a very trustworthy person. Saito didn't conclude it as an assumption but an experienced veteran commander like him he has a full grasped of who should be trusted and who should be aware of and Colbert for his perspective is not the latter one.

"I think we should head back to the Mecha bay factory where the Zero was installed now. You said you want o fully inspect the mechanics of the plane isn't it not?" Saito suggested to go back from the factory where the Zero fighter was restored.

"Ah YES, I forgot, thank you for reminding me Mr. Saito!" Colbert almost forgot his main purpose of coming here in the imperial base.

"Come on professor, you can also find some fascinating stuffs there you know." Saito gestured for them to return. With the tour is over the two make their way back to the factory.
