Hi hi!

So, here it is! The final part – tadaaaah!

And yes, yes, I said it will be up in a couple of days, but then… well… life has just gotten a bit busy. I'm also writing things that are more public in my personal life, so I had to finish a few of my works and compete against deadlines…. My all time worst enemy, and the only thing keeping me in line.

Anyhow,

here is the last part! Hope you enjoy it – tell me what you think! Any and all comments are always greatly appreciated!

I read through everything you've sent me, too! I see many ask for the return of SM verse – and guys, you are waaaay too kind with me, I think I quite literally teared up at some of the messages. So, I've been thinking… no promises, but, I might have an idea stemming from comments some of you suggested...

And, as always, many thanks to aaaaaall of you – you are my motivation and support when I'm thinking about stopping and disappearing forever. I owe you so many good vibes and laughter, warm feelings and hidden smiles – I hope, through my stories, I can return at least a bit of what you gave me 3

Yours, truly,

Moony

Originally, Magnus did only came for some documents he left in the office.

And now he was stuck.

Well, not literally, it wasn't like the owner of said office, very hot by the way, caught him there and... smashed into him and grabbed him roughly.. and..held his hands and pushed him to look and his hard body…

Where was he, again?

Oh, yeah! So, documents.

He so came for them. Like, that was his one reason to be in here. Until… well, this, he guessed…

It was Blondie.

In a corner.

Kinky much, Alecky?

Concentrate, dammit!

He sorrowfully regretted that last glass of booze at the moment.

Which was also Jace's fault! If he hadn't been such a pain in the ass…

Don't hop on that train of thought, Magnus…

Thing was, Blondie was a mess. His shoulders were slumped, and his head was leaned on the wall and oh Gosh, his shirt and pants could use a good ironing right now... He didn't even snap at him when he entered!

So, Magnus was stuck.

Not because he cared, phew. For all he knew, that overgrown child could stay here aaall night long if needed.

He was worried for Alec, duh.

He just wanted to check how it went…

...

Okaaay, so maaaybe he had kind of a soft spot for… well, not for Jace, definitely, but c'mon, guy was cryiiiiing…

He just hoped Alec would buy it if he came in unexpectedly.

"Blondie?" he called. Jace flinched, but hasn't responded. Or looked at him. Or did anything.

Magnus frowned. Was the brat really ignoring him, now?

He blinked once, slowly.

"I know you heard me."

Still no answer. Magnus had a feeling answer to why was just in the corner of his half-drunken mind. Too far to reach, too slippery to catch. So, he went with the old, simplest tactic.

"What, don't tell me Alexander finally found a way to put a muzzle on you. Hello?"

Jace shifted, looking back so fast Magnus barely caught the movement. He seemed to relax at finding room Alec-free for the time being.

"Can't talk." He murmured, quietly. "Corner rule, remember?"

And then it hit him. Of course.

So, apparently, Jace was quite a handful even while being punished for being a handful.

Or so Alec claimed, and everybody anonymously agreed on.

Surprise, surprise!

It was no secret Jace's mouth often worked faster than his brain, as it was also a semi-regular occurrence for those same mouth to lay him into trouble. However, "no talking during corner time" rule was added pretty recently.

Why? Question everybody wanted to find an answer to.

Whatever it was that pushed Alec to the edge, it must have been bad! Magnus shuddered at the very memory. Best argument in favour of that was the hesitance boy showed while talking, even now, more than a year later.

Alec was rarely truly angry, at anybody really, keeping his cool even when Magnus himself was close to snapping. To see him furious that night was frightening in a worst kind of way.

And, seeing how the blond boy still stood obediently, and quietly, in his corner – he wasn't the only one thinking that way.

Magnus hummed, still somewhat lost in thought, sliding gracefully across the room until he was standing directly behind the young shadowhunter. Jace tensed, but kept silent.

Warlock raised his hand to youth's bottom – not quite touching, but close to – and whistled lowly at the heat he felt radiating through the fabric.

"Damn." he muttered, and Jace shifted uncomfortably, glancing first at door and then at him, before turning back around again.

"He didn't go easy on you, did he, Blondie?"

After a moment's hesitance, Jace shook his head.

"He'll be back", he whispered. "You should go, Mag."

Magnus wasn't sure whether he was afraid for warlock or for his own behind, nor was he about to question it. As long as this overgrown child had someone to keep him under control – he was not going to interfere.

"Back, you say?" he hummed. "What, managed to piss him off enough to earn yourself a round two?"

Younger's back stiffened. This he couldn't ignore as easily.

"For your information, for that I actually got a round one. Didn't know you now work as a part-time room security instal – OW!"

He wasn't sure when or how he found himself with warlock's face pressed closely to his, but he did, sore posterior pressing painfully against the wall he's been facing just a moment earlier. Magnus stared him down, dangerous glint keeping his irises just on the edge of turning cat-like.

"Careful, Blondie." He whispered. Jace gulped, pressing his jaw shut.

"Thank your Angel Alecky is so patient with you, because this would've gone very differently if it was me handling you some days ago."

"Wh-" younger's eyes widened at the very mention of such a possibility. Magnus smirked, shushing him with a finger to his chest.

"Did you know it was me who patched up little vampire's foot? It was burned, Blondie. He screamed all the while I healed it."

Jace gulped, but kept quiet. No, he didn't know that. Simon never mentioned it… and he never asked.

"You can imagine I wasn't very thrilled with you, either. In fact, I was so displeased I actually suggested… well, you know, assistance if Alec needed help getting through to you."

Jace inhaled. "You wouldn't."

"Oh." Warlock raised an eyebrow. "Wouldn't I?"

Jace yelped as the air was once again knocked out of him, cheek pressing against the wall as Magnus turned him around again with astonishing amount of strength for someone so lithe.

"Next time" SMACK! "you do" SMACK! "something like this" SMACK! "I will" SMACK! "handle you" SMACK! "myself!" SMACK!

"Understood?!"
Jace, who's been squirming from the beginning, nodded fervently, breath coming out in little, panicked gulps. His hands were furiously rubbing at his bottom.

"Understood, No-more-pale?!"

"Yes, okay, I get it!"

Somebody cleared their throat. Somebody who decidedly wasn't Magnus, or Jace.

Both of them turned around, Jace momentarily forgetting about his current predicament.

Alec was leaned on the wall next to the closed door, looking at the two with amusement. His arms and legs were crossed, but there was a smile playing on his lips.

"Magnus, dear, are you done scaring the baby?"

Jace whined. "I'm not the…"

He shut up when Alec's eyes cut to his own.

"What was that, baby?"

Jace gulped. He hunched his shoulders before wordlessly turning back to face the corner.

"Wait, I thought I was the baby, loverboy." that ridiculous warlock was now hanging his hands over taller's shoulders, pouting absurdly. Alec chuckled.

"You are my baby, but he is like a toddler." He waged his finger at them playfully. "And both of you have the attention span of a five year old. Tell me, baby, didn't I tell you not to come snooping in here?"

"I wasn't." Magnus blinked innocently. "I was looking for something."

"For what?"

"Well", Magnus clicked his tongue, "I forgot as soon as you came in, beautiful. You said it yourself, you know how my concentration is these days. Especially with you somewhere in the picture."

"Were you looking for Jace, maybe?" Alec cocked his eyebrow. Warlock smiled dazzingly.

"Well, darling, aren't you both gorgeous and brilliant! Yes, now, thinking of it…."

Alec silenced him with a kiss.

"Go." He nodded towards the door. "Before I decide to turn you over my knee, too."

Magnus 'uuuuh'-ed and 'aaaaaah'-ed his way out of the room, winking at the door frame.

"Be good, Blondie! See you soon, Alecky!"

He slammed the door shut just a tad harder than necessary.

Alec sighed, fond smile tugging at his lips.

"Ridiculous."
He turned around at the faint gagging sound coming from the corner.

"You have something to say?" he barked. Speaking of ridiculous…

Like him and Clary were any better, really.

Jace huffed.

"He has a really hard hand."

Alec burst out laughing.

"Yeah…" he wheezed once he remembered how to breathe again. "Yeah, I suppose he does… but other than that… are you okay, though? We were probably supposed to talk about this beforehand, but you know he can be a bit… well…"

"Impulsive?" Jace provided flatly.

Alec hummed, but nodded in agreement.

"Yeah… So, you okay? He didn't shock you too bad?"

Jace kept silent for a second, before shifting his weight.

"I suppose he did… but I'm also not surprised, in a way. I mean, he is pretty old, he must've seen some stuff and… and it's not like I'm the most mature person sometimes so….. I might seem like a child to him sometimes, I suppose."

"You think he thought about doing this before?"

Jace shrugged, still turned to the corner. "You've been doing it, and he didn't really object… plus, there was that time he threatened to take me in hand while he dragged me to you by the ear – you know, that time when I accidentally set Chairman Meow on fire…."

Alec cringed. Yeah, he remembered that one as well.

"Fair enough." he shrugged. "Still, if something like this were to happen ever again… I want us three to talk before it."

"What?" Jace huffed, amused. "Scared my amazing butt will steal your boyfriend from you?"
Alec grinned. "Actually, I am more afraid of your butt not being there anymore once he gets through with you… as you said, he has a pretty hard hand."

Jace shuddered. "Point taken." He absentmindedly rubbed at his butt. Alec shook his head behind him, sighing.

"Should we get this over with? Come here, Jace."

Younger took one last calming breath before turning slowly.

Shit.

He froze.

Alec was standing just a meter or two away from him, on his side of the table… and he held a cane.

Jace felt his heart starting to beat faster again.

"Jace?"

Alec was looking at him. He snapped out of his trance, turning to look at the older's face instead of his hand.

"Come here."

He gulped. However, he had enough self-preservation to know he shouldn't run (plus, the doors were too far to get to them in time), so, after a moment's hesitance, he crossed the distance and found himself standing in front of Alec.

"Bend over."

He obeyed. Alec's hands carefully wrapped around his waist as the older unbuttoned and pushed down his pants and underwear, and he hissed when the air came in contact with the red surface. Then he hissed again, louder, when Alec rubbed a hand down the flushed skin.

"That looks painful." He commented. Jace bit the retort building at the top of his tongue. Now was decidedly not a good time to make a joke.

"I'll give you the first half with my hand, to warm you up again."

Although it didn't look like he needed it, but he wasn't about to say it.

"And the other half I'll give you with cane. Good?"

"No." Jace grumbled. Alec patted his shoulder.

"Good boy. Now brace yourself. We're starting."

SMACK!

It caught him by surprise, the force with which Alec administered the hit, and his mouth fell open in a silent scream.

SMACK!
His head fell between his elbows, forehead touching the wooden surface.

SMACK!

He choked on a pained moan, digging his nails into his palms. Alec stopped momentarily.

"Palms flat, hands on the table. Right your position, c'mon."

SMACK!

He groaned, but did as he was told, rocking on his soles before settling down. Alec hummed, satisfied.

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

Jace could almost feel burning handprints raising on his skin. It stung like hellfire itself.

"What is with you and running head first into danger?"
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
"You are a great tactician, yet you throw yourself into the line of fire every time you get a chance to."

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
"But I think I already told you all about how displeased I am with that part in our previous session, didn't I?"

SMACK!
"Yeah…."

Alec paused.

Jace answered pretty clearly, but his shoulders started shaking somewhere in the last minute. Alec could feel him trembling under his hands.

"Breathe through it." he reminded, softly, patting his back for a moment as he felt younger take a shaky breath through his teeth.

"Good boy."

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

He resumed smacking for another couple of minutes, each of them visibly taking a toll on blond's posture and breathing. His legs were shaking, whole body rocking forward with each searing blow on his flaming posterior. Alec heard him grit his teeth when he aimed lower, younger's hand smacking against the table when Alec hit the curve between his backside and the thighs.

"Jace…."

Younger didn't answer. His breathing was laboured and unsteady, and Alec used the opportunity to smack the spots he previously coloured, making blond yelp and try to push himself off of the table.

"Al-wait, wait…."

"Didn't we already lose enough time?" Alec smirked. "You know, in between you sneaking behind my back and me chasing you around the Institute... I'd say, parabatai, that we are in this very situation because I waited for too long to deal with your behaviour."

Jace shook his head. "T'was my fault…"

"Yeah, yes it was." Alec patted his back, pressing between his shoulder blades to keep him from standing up. "Hold on tight, you are almost done with the warm up."

His hand flexed when Jace (predictably) shot up, eyes wide. "WAIT! What do you mea…."

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

They just kept coming, one after the other, and Jace's mouth opened in a silent scream before he let out a wail.

"Al – no – wai… AL…"

He quite literally couldn't catch his breath, crumbling and rocking under the blows, and Alec felt satisfaction bleed in through the bond as the younger finally went lax, long locks spread around the quivering hands.

"Doing well, Angel."

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

Alec steeled his heart, going in with the hardest hits yet. Younger, under him, trashed for a moment, clawing at the hand that rendered him defenceless. The whole ordeal was accompanied by the cries he kept in up until now, that finally exploded past his lips and spilled in the safety of the room they were in.

SMACK! SMACK!

Alec titled his head.

SMACK!

"OW!"

"For a good measure." he shrugged. "Okay, we're halfway done!"

Jace, laying on the table even now that Alec stopped holding him down, burst into harder sobs before he tried to swallow the tears.

"Half – halfway?!"

"Told you you'll get the first half with hand, didn't I?"

"But…"

SMACK!

"Yes, butt. Yours, off the table, now. Stand at the attention!"

Younger obeyed flawlessly, muscle memory kicking in even if he was barely holding himself upwards. Alec mumbled, satisfied, idly stretching a hand to wipe some of the younger's locks away from his eyes.

"Aw, baby…."

He never failed to be amazed be the duality his parabatai was capable of. A fierce shadowhunter, warrior and the young man who defied death and came out as a winner…. Here, he was still just a boy.

And a guilty one, at that.

Jace's eyes were glazed over, unshed tears collecting on the bottom of his lashes. Seeing as how Alec was taller than him, he had to look up to see his parabatai's face, making him look smaller, defenceless.

Alec almost gave in. Almost.

"Hands on the table. Keep them stretched. No bending down." he whispered instead.

Jace nodded before turning and doing as he was told.

"Alec?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm really sorry."

A pause.

A sigh.

"I know."

SWISH!

Jace spluttered, twitched, moved forward – all at once. In the end he stayed locked on the table, arms still bent forward at the elbows.

"Breathe…" Alec reminded, giving younger a moment to catch his breath. Jace wheezed, laughing through gritted teeth.

"Forgot how…. Bad…. This is."

Alec chuckled. "As I sad – I've been way to lenient with you recently. Move, back into position."

Jace grunted, shifting back gingerly. There was an angry red stripe smiling at Alec right from the middle of his backside.

SWISH! SWISH!

Blond screamed again, teeth clenching around the animalistic noise escaping his body. He was bent forward again, and Alec grabbed his shoulder to push him back to where he wanted him.

SWISH! SWISH! SW -

"Jace, move your hands. NOW."

Younger shook his hand. "Hu – it hurts, Al…"

"Yeah, it's supposed to. Move them or I'll take them again, this is your last warning."

He waited for a few seconds. Huh. Jace gulped, choking down tears, but, for some reason, didn't move his hands.

Oh.

Alec sighed.

"And you don't want me to call you a baby…"

He took younger's hands into one of his own, pinning them gently onto his lower back. Jace sobbed, but relaxed a bit under his hold.

"It's okay, Jace. I've got you."

He raised the switch again, feeling the body underneath him tense and trash momentarily before Jace wailed again.

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

He buckled, and jumped, and clawed at his arm, but ultimately there was nothing he could've done. Alec swallowed, forcing himself to keep going.

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

Jace's legs gave in.

"Al', please…."

His words were almost unteligable, knees bucking and hips moving like he was trying to shake away the pain. Alec gave him a momentary break.

"I – I can't, plea… Alec…"

The older shushed him, but took a better look at his backside and thighs.

Yikes…

Despite his genetic background, Jace was no angel. He has done, and received, worse than this on more than one occasion, Alec was aware of that.

However, this was still one of the harshest punishments he had to dish out, and flaming red stripes attested to that by the heat radiating all the way to his outstretched palm.

"It's alright, Jace, I got you…."

The decision was impulsive, made in a heat of the moment, and, before he knew what he was doing, Jace was turned around and Alec had younger laid across his knees.

Jace's breath hitched.

"Alec?"

"I got you. It's okay, I'm here."

He laid into him again, then, one angry stripe after the other painting the younger's posterior. Jace renewed his struggles, thrashing wildly as much as the restraining hand holding him in place allowed him to.

It was of no use.

"Al – OW, ALE – STOP! STOP! Plea…"

In the end he finally just gave up.

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

Alec kept looking at him, the way his shoulders relaxed and his head fell forward, tension once again draining from his body. He went lax, silent sobs shaking him against Alec's thighs, and older nodded his head in satisfaction.

It was time to end this show once and for all.

"I don't want a repeat of this ever again, Jace."

SWISH!

"What you did was dangerous…"

SWISH!

"Thoughtless…"
SWISH!

"Selfish…"

SWISH!
"Childish…"
SWISH!

"And absolutely unnaceptable."

SWISH! SWISH!

"You have no idea how scared I was for you!"

SWISH!

"I cannot lose you."
SWISH!

"Least of all because of your hotheaded ways."

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

Younger sobbed harder, shaking his head weakly. His trapped arms grasped older's, seeking comfort he desperately craved.

"I am disappointed in your actions, in the way you acted."

SWISH! SWISH!

"Because I know you."

A pause.

"I know you can do so much better than this."

He delivered the hardest blow, making an impact, and younger screamed and arched his back, before falling down, completely drained.

Alec threw the switch on the ground.

"Oh, baby…"

He raised the younger's underwear, elicting another scream, before turning the other around and gently scooping him into his lap.

"Shhh, brother, I got you, I got you, you're okay now, shhh…"

"Am I – am I done?" Jace pushed himself away, searching Alec's eyes urgently. Older smiled at him, gently as ever.

"You're done. Come he – UF!"

Jace, as it seemed, didn't need to be told twice. He catapulted himself back into Alec's arms, burying his head in the crook between older's shoulder and neck, sobs shaking his form as he clutched his parabatai's shirt.

"Shhh, I got you…."

Alec felt something deep, warm and safe bleed through the bond from Jace's side at his words, and he reprociated with same, heart swelling at the feeling that Jace was finally here, healthy and whole and out of the danger, in his arms and out of the harm's way.

He was safe.

Ha was here.

He was fine.

Alec felt like he could finally breathe again.

They lost track of time, younger relaxed and drained against his body, and Alec enjoyed in just feeling the heartbeat beat both against his chest and through his mark. He rarely had a chance to hold Jace this close nowadays, and he cherished the moment as much as the younger.

Knock on the door woke him from his stupor.

"Alecky?"

Jace shifted against him, whining softly, and Alec moved his hand to brush it through his hair without much thought.

"Aww, is the baby sleeping?"

Magnus was now leaning against the closed door, eyes soft as he watched two shadowhunters on the chair. Alec smirked at him, amused.

"Aren't you the baby, love? I somehow remember you being pretty insistent on that earlier in the day."

Warlock rolled his eyes, patting forward until one of his hands could brush first Alec's, then Jace's hair away from their faces.

Youngest was, just like he said, finally sleeping peacefully.

"Awwww…" he cooed, glancing at Alec when the younger laughed. "Well, I'll forfeit my position just for this short while – I mean, look at him, Alecky. Isn't he the cutest thing ever – I mean, now that he finally shut up, that is…."

He was silenced by a kiss Alec pressed to his lips, smiling goofily.

"How generous of you" he purred. "Don't I have the best boyfriend ever? So, so good for me."

Magnus' eyes crinkled, and he grinned again before he nodded at Jace again.

"Well, one of us has to be, y'know. Otherwise I'm afraid you would have already gone mad long time ago."

His shadowhunter huffed out a laugh, shaking his head fondly.

"Like you don't drive me mad at daily basis, too." He whispered, fond smile tugging at his lips. Jace was still dead to the world.

"Want some help with him?" Magnus offered, once again petting the youngest's hair. His eyes were concerned despite his smile, and Alec shook his head softly, kissing the knuckles on warlock's hand before he turned once again to his wayward parabatai.

"Naah, we're good. He's just drained, Mag. I assure you he'll jump right back to being his lovable bratty self before dinnertime today… or tomorrow, depending on how bad his ass will hurt by then."

"Did he give you any trouble?"

"Not more than usual." Alec shrugged. "He was still feeling guilty, so it didn't take long to get him to give up… plus, you kinda shocked him into behaving for the second part, so that helped, too."

Magnus grimaced, glancing at Alec guiltily.

"I'll apologise to him about that… I wasn't really thinking when I did it. I just – he's so young, and he reminds me… For me, he sometimes truly feels like a disobedient child."

Alec hummed. "He knows it, too. I talked to him about it at bit – although I think all three of us should have a conversation about it once he wakes up."

"Was he angry?"

Alec shook his head. "I don't think he was even that surprised. Maybe it would do him some good, too, to have someone watch over him if I am not around…. But, all in its time."

He smiled again, locking eyes with his lover before he closed them, breathing in deeply. Jace shifted on his lap.

"Al'c?"

"Yeah?" he called, arm moving up to massage younger's back. He sighted contently, before nuzzling his head further into his neck.

"M'sorry… for ever'th'ng."

"I know, Angel."

"…th'nk y'u."

Alec smiled. He wasn't sure whether the warmth he felt was coming from the bond or from the feeling in his chest – or was it the same, at this point?

It didn't matter. They were here. They were safe. They were together.

"Always." he swore. He felt Jace smile against his skin.
