Hello all. This is Fawndering, the author of Crudele popping in to write an update.

Crudele obviously, has had to take a backseat in the car that is my life for quite a long time. I'm sure this has been very apparent to everyone, given my long back-to-back hiatuses.

This morning, after seeing some Twilight memes on Instagram of all places, I remembered that long ago, starting at age twelve, I once began writing a story called Crudele, about a sad, broken Bella, who was taken in by the Volturi for her own safety and began forging her own path in the Twilight world. This was a hard-hitting story for me, especially with how young I was when I wrote it, and it has held a special place in my heart ever since I wrote the first word of that first chapter.

So I googled the name of the story again (feeling very satisfied by the way at the fact that my story is the first result on google lol) and read through what I had begun rewriting in 2018, just a few short years after I deleted the original story online. Sadly, I no longer have the full, original copy of Crudele, and all I have are some chapters from the original version, as well as what is posted here to my fanfiction account.

I have been re-writing pieces of this story, as well as re-planning the plotline out in my Evernote, however since my life has become quite busy, I'm not sure if I will ever have a copy of Crudele that is up to my standards that I would post online. If anyone has the original Crudele saved and sees this, feel free to reach out to me, as I would love to repost the original for all the people who still email my old email about it to this day. I think it would be very nice to have a complete archive of Crudele that I can make public once again, for myself and for all my old readers and followers that enjoyed this story and this era of my creativity as much as I did. You all truly made writing and sharing my work a beautiful and fulfilling experience that I will remember for the rest of my life, and I would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

For those who are interested in following me through the next phases of my life and creativity, my username on everything is Fawndering. I am now a digital artist who lightly dabbles in commission work, and I also run a Twitch channel where I am a VTuber who mainly focuses on art, language learning, and some games that interest me. Even though I no longer write in the same quantities as I used to, I am sure that in the future when I plan out my full debut, my character's backstory and lore will have a little something everyone from here would be able to appreciate or love, even though it's unrelated to the vampire stories you guys remember me for.

Maybe one day I will find the time to come back and write Crudele, to give it the full closure that I believe it deserves, but at the moment I have bigger fish to fry, and it's time for me to get out there into the world for awhile and see what happens.

Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for giving my story and my versions of Stephenie Meyer's characters your love and support. It means just as much to me now as it did to me back then. I wish the old copy was still live so I could read the hundreds of reviews that it had previously garnered, but alas I was dumb and deleted it, not realizing how important it would be to me in the future.

I would also like to thank you all belatedly for voting for Crudele and earning it a silver medal in Round 3 of the Non-Canon Awards under the Volturi section. I'm not sure if I ever expressed my gratitude for that, back when it was actually nominated and won. To this day, it is still shocking to me that something I wrote was able to win a publicly voted award. Thank you.

I will be updating my profile to include a link to my Carrd. From there, you can find links to where I'm active nowadays. For those of you who join me on my other accounts, I'll see you there. =w= This is not the final page, we're just starting a new chapter together, and I'm sure it'll be even more vibrant than the last.
