A/N: Here it is! The 10th Chapter of "Two Worlds, One Family"! Yay. Sorry I didn't post this Chapter last week, but I was having a bit of trouble with how it should go. But I figured it out, so here it is for all y'all to enjoy. Uh...so for the beast that Delta's now going to be fighting, if you have seen the movie "Rampage" with The Rock, then take the wolf and the crocodile (after their upgrades with the serum stuff), and mash them together. Whatever monstrosity you create in your twisted little minds is basically what the beast looks like. So...yeah...anywho, enjoy the Chapter.

Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers in any shape or form. I only own the story and any and all OCs in said story. If there's someone you're not familiar with, it's probably an OC.

It's quiet in the Sea of Rust, the only sound being the wind, rust particles whipping around their plating. Delta had just dived down into the deep hole where Talon and Sol were, and they were now waiting for the go-ahead from the younger Mech to go and get the injured Mechling.

"Do…do we head down?" one of the younger Medics asks, unsure.

There's a distant, muffled shriek of metal on metal echoing up from the hole. Then, a roar.

"No." Barricade says. "We'll wait for the signal from Delta."

The ground begins to rumble, making everyone unsteady on their peds. Suddenly, something bursts through the surface, knocking them all off their peds. It's a massive beast, roaring and snarling as it tries to throw off its rider. Barricade's optics narrow. There, on its helm, holding on to the sharp spikes adorning its helm, is Delta, snarling as he rips into the plating.

"Well…there's the signal."

Delta snarls as he tears into the plating, rage and protectiveness fueling him. The beast roars again, bucking and twisting, trying to throw him off. He merely tightens his grip with a growl.

It finally manages to throw him off, Delta slamming into the ground, a deep furrow following him. He hits a pile of twisted metal, the pile cracking from the force. He rolls to his peds, ignoring the pounding in his helm. He barely even notices the Energon dripping down his neck, the burn of back-plating being rubbed raw from the throw. He bolts forward, wings appearing in a flash of white.

Leaping up, he throws his weight into the swing, slamming his fist into the beast's helm. It's thrown to the side, plating snapping apart from the force. Energon sprays from the torn protoform, hitting the ground. Steam rises from it, and Delta knew.

Dark Energon.

It must have happened when Unicron returned to the planet almost a year and a half ago. This beast had been living under the surface, affected by the foul, evil anti-lifeblood.

Bringing his powers fully to the surface, Delta moves forward once more, this time using nothing but his instincts to guide him. His servo warms, a familiar sword appearing in his grasp. The Star Saber glows brightly, the beast zoning in on the blade. It snaps at Delta as he swings, one of its dagger-like fangs glancing off of his arm, tearing into the plating and deep into the protoform. The sword hits its shoulder instead of face, breaking the plating more.

Delta snarls in pain, the momentum from the attack throwing him away, the Star Saber falling from his hold. He lifts his helm, taking in the beast stalking towards him, oblivious to the other bots near, its sole focus being on the one who attacked it. He tilts his helm, the Star Saber coming into his vision. It was only a few feet away—if he moved now…

The beast roars, bolting forward and lunging just as Delta's servo wraps around the hilt. Delta twists and lifts the sword in one movement. He ignores the Energon splattering onto his front as the weapon enters the beast's chest and pierces its sparkchamber.

Vents ragged and shaky, Delta watches as the glowing purple optics dim, the weight of the beast becoming heavier with every second. Lifting his arms, Delta pushes against the jagged chestplating, shoving the beast away from him. It hits the ground, limp. Sitting up, the turquoise Mech takes a deep vent.

Pain…hurtdarkpain…

He gets up, walking over to the beast, only to stop as those words echo in his helm.

Darkhurtpain…makeitstop…alone…

The Star Saber drops from his hold, his optics meeting those of the beast. What he thought was a feral beast fed on Dark Energon…was just a scared, innocent creature affected by something beyond its control. It couldn't help that it hurt so many others—it didn't realize that what it was doing, was because of the Darkness flowing through it.

Delta places his servo on the beast's helm. The plating underneath begins to glow. His body lights with symbols, wings and visor glowing white. The beast's plating begins to glow as well, the white light spreading through the whole body, cleansing it from the darkness that was invading it.

"It's over. It's time for you to go."

Nopain…lighthealingnotalone…thankyou…

There's a flash, the beast disappearing from the world, nothing left. He takes in the empty space in front of him, the destroyed metal surface of Cybertron.

And finally welcomes the darkness creeping into his vision.
