It was the Spring of 1997 in Boston, Massachusetts. At the Collins' apartment, William Collins was asleep in his room after a long night shift. Out in the living room, Charlotte Collins (who had recently taken back her maiden name) and her nephew, Anthony Collins were watching TV.
Anthony groaned. "Aunt Charlotte" whined the nine year old boy, "do we have to watch this boring wedding?"
"Anthony" scolded Charlotte, "I let you watch you watch your cartoon trash all the time. It's time to let me have a turn for once."
Anthony just groaned and slumped on the sofa.
On television was the coverage of the Enchancian Royal Wedding. King Roland II had recently taken his new bride, Lorelei, now Queen Lorelei.
What did Anthony care? All he knew was that he wanted to watch Capetian Blasto, and his stupid Aunt wont let him.
Charlotte spoke up with "Anthony, I'm gonna make myself something to eat. Do you want anything?"
"Pizza" replied Anthony.
"Anthony, we're not ordering pizza" scolded Charlotte, "now what do you want."
Anthony growled, "just a peanut butter and jelly sandwich then."
"Alright then" went Charlotte, "I'll be back in a few minutes. Don't change the channel, understand?"
"Understand" groaned Anthony.
"Good" said Charlotte before heading into the small kitchen.
Anthony turned his attention back to the boring wedding. The reporter was apparently interviewing King Roland's friends.
"And now we have one of the King's closest friends" said the reporter, "I present to you, King Peter Albany of the Confederacy."
"What...?" went Anthony.
"Why, thank you" said Peter in the TV.
"Are you enjoying the reception, Your Majesty" asked the reporter.
"Very much so" replied Peter with a smile, "but you don't have to use formal tittles with me. Just call me Peter."
"Very well, Peter, I'll be sure to remember that" said the reporter.
Anthony cringed in his seat. It had been almost four years since that stupid Confederate King rescued him and those idiotic babies from the SS Odyssey. Should he at least fill grateful that Peter rescued him? Of course not! Not after his stupid sword burnt his hand! What was that sword's name again?
On TV the reporter spoke up with "and I see King Roland let you invite several of your friends as well."
"Indeed" replied Peter. "would you like to meet them?"
"Absolutely" replied the reporter.
Anthony's jaw dropped as he watched the reporter and Peter walk over to a crowed of familiar faces. "No way" he mumbled to himself, "no way?"
"First" said Peter, "I'd like to introduce you to Stu and Didi Pickles and their boys, Tommy and Dil Pickles."
Anthony just sat there in aw. Tommy and Dil were of course much older then when he'd last saw them on that cruise. In fact they were closer to how old he was then. He couldn't believe it!
The reporter and Peter continued to interview more of the Confederate King's friends... and Anthony's enemies.
"And over here we have the Finsters" said Peter as they walked up to Chaz and Kira and there children, Chuckey and Kimi.
"No, no, no, no..." mumbled Anthony as anger built up inside him.
"And over here we have the DeVilles" said Peter as they approached Betty, Howard and their twins, Phil and Lil.
Anthony clenched his fists as Peter and the reporter then turned to interview the Carmichaels and that stupid Susie, how tall she's gotten since that cruise.
But then Anthony recognized a face he hoped he'd never have to see again. She was, like the others, much older then when he last saw her. Her hair had long since grown back but she was unmistakable.
"Angelica..." mumbled Anthony. "Angelica" he said a bit louder, "Angelica."
"Is something going on out there" asked Charlotte from the kitchen.
"Angelica" said Anthony out loud, "Angelica."
Charlotte walked back into the living room, a plate with a sandwich in each hand. "Are you trying to tell me something..." she then noticed her daughter on the TV screen. "Oh, my...!"
"Angelica" continued Anthony, "Angelica. Angelica! ANGELICA!"
"Anthony!" shouted Charlotte.
Anthony just screamed, "THAT STUPID CUNT IS DINING WITH KINGS AND QUEENS! AND HERE I AM, LIVING IN THIS STUPID APARTMENT! IT'S! NOT! FAIR!"
Before Charlotte could utter another word, Anthony picked up the remote and threw it at the TV.
"Anthony!" shouted Charlotte as the evil boy continued to throw random objects at the TV causing its screen to shatter. He then turned over the coffee table as Charlotte dropped her plates in shock.
"Anthony!" cried Charlotte, "Anthony, stop!"
Anthony wasn't listening. He just continued to destroy anything he could get his hands on. He smashed the lamps, knocked over the book shelf and even threw one of his toys at the window causing it to break.
"IT'S NOT FAIR" screamed Anthony in rage, "IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAAAAAAAIR!"
Suddenly a man's voice boomed through the apartment.
"ANTHONY WILLIAM COLLINS!"
Anthony stopped dead in his tracks. "Uh, oh" he mumbled as he turned to face his father.
There stood William Collins, a look of utter fury in his eyes. He eyed the destruction in the living room before glaring at his son.
"Young man" spoke up William, "did you do this?"
Anthony just gulped, "I, uh, I..." the boy then urinated his pants.
William turned to his sister. "Charlotte, get my paddle" he ordered.
Charlotte reluctantly obeyed her brother as William turned back to his son.
"Anthony" ordered William, "pull down your pants and grab your knees."
"But, but..." went Anthony, "I..."
"NOW!" screamed William.
Anthony then pulled down his urine-stained jeans and underwear and grabbed his knees as he was told. Charlotte then came back with the dreaded paddle and handed it to William.
"Anthony William Collins!" barked William, "I am gonna beat the disobedience right out of your sorry little ass!"
Anthony's eyes widened in terror.
Meanwhile, outside, Terry and Shannon Hall along with their daughters, Mary and Rosie were taking a walk to the park.
"Wow, it's a beautiful day" said Terry.
"Indeed" said Shannon.
"Do you think my friends will be there" asked Rosie.
"Maybe" replied Shannon.
"I just hope those evil little boys, Reggie and Anthony aren't there" said Mary.
Coincidentally as the older Hall child said that, the family made a turn onto the street bearing Anthony's apartment. As they continued their walk, Rosie noticed something. Lying there on the street was a broken toy. A large Captain Blasto action figure to be exact.
Rosie looked up at Anthony's apartment complex across the street. One of it's windows was broken. 'What the' thought the pink haired girl before a peculiar sound caught her attention.
WACK!
WACK!
WACK!
WACK!
WACK!
"OW! OW! OWWWWW! WAAAAAAHAHA!" cried a boy's voice from the broken window.
"Daddy" said Rosie, "I think someone's getting spanked!"
"Uh, let's move along kids" said Terry nervously as he and his family continued their stroll to the park.
Elsewhere, Reggie Greenfield was in his bedroom playing with his Transformers when he heard something from out his open window.
WACK!
WACK!
"WAAAAA! I'M SOOOOOORY DADDY!" screamed a familiar voice.
"Anthony" mumbled Reggie.
WACK!
WACK!
WACK!
"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS IS GONNA COST US YOU STUPID LITTLE BRAT!" screamed a grownup's voice. It was Anthony's dad!
"Wow" said Reggie, "Anthony must have done something really bad."
Back at the Collins' apartment, William was finishing up his son's paddling.
WACK!
WACK!
WACK!
"I think thirty is enough for now!" barked William.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" sobbed Anthony, his bottom bruised purple.
Charlotte just stood there in shock. Never had she seen her brother so angry.
"God only knows how we're gonna be able to afford to replace all of the stuff you ruined, Anthony!" yelled William.
Anthony just continued sobbing.
William spoke up again with, "for destroying our living room, your are grounded for SIX MONTHS!"
"Now, William" protested Charlotte, "don't you think half a year is a bit excessive?"
William just glared at his crying son. "Fine!" he snapped, "three months! You are grounded for three whole months, Young Man! Now go to your room!"
Anthony pulled up his pants and ran to his room.
"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, ANGELICA!" screamed Anthony.
"Shut up, Anthony!" shouted William from the living room.
Anthony just threw himself in his bed and sobbed hysterically for an hour.
THE END
