"Purretty please," Chat practically begged, giving his girlfriend the biggest kitten eyes that he could muster. "We've been together for one meownth and I want to do something special for you. As much as I love spending time with you anywhere, I want to take you somewhere more significant for once." Marinette knew that agreeing wouldn't be a good idea. Chat Noir shouldn't be seen dating a civilian and she shouldn't be seen out and about, alone with a superhero when her friends knew that she had recently started dating someone. She didn't know if she was more afraid of Adrien and Nino drawing the right conclusions or the wrong ones.

"I can't believe you're really asking meowt like this. Minou, we've been dating for a month, asking me isn't really necessary anymore."

"Okay," he began. "Hear meowt... I know that we're already dating and I know that I love you, but I also know that I want to give you a night to remember. One that isn't just the two of us sitting in your room or on your balcony. If you really think it would be a bad idea to go out in public with me, you can say no, but no one would see us on the date I have planned."

Marinette bit her lip and thought about it. She did want to see what Chat had planned for their date, but she was still nervous about the risks of him being seen with a civilian. She took a deep breath and met eyes with him. "Okay, my knight," she agreed. "What do I need to do for this date that you have planned?"

Chat practically cheered at Marinette's agreement and a little giggle bubbled out of her. "Right meow, you should put on a dress you've been saving for a nice occasion. You're a designer, I know that you have at least one. I'll take care of everything else and I'll be back in an hour and a half to pick you up for our date."

She smiled and shook her head at her boyfriend. "Sure," she agreed, "I don't see a purroblem with that plan. I'll see you in an hour and a half." Marinette leaned up on her toes to kiss him and he was happy to meet her in the middle. The two stood kissing longer than either of them expected to, wrapped in each others' arms.

"Comeown," Marinette said when their kiss ended. "You have to get going so that I can get ready for the date my dork of a boyfriend is planning to take me on. I don't think he'll like it if I make the two of us late."

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind, purrincess," he responded with a smirk on his face. "I'll see you soon, though." He scooped down to place one more kiss to her cheek before he leapt up through her trapdoor, onto her balcony. She watched him as he seemed to disappear into the night.

Chat Noir leapt through the window to his bedroom and went over to his closet as quickly as possible. He knew he couldn't wear a full suit over his superhero suit, but he was hopeful that Marinette would appreciate it if he wore a nicely fitted jacket. He pulled one out of the closet and made sure it was one that had been released in a previous season.

It was a black suit jacket, simple enough to never go out of style, but the lines of the jacket were crisp and he hoped that Marinette would like it. He put the jacket closer to the window, where he would be able to grab it quickly once he had the rest of the surprise set up for her. He tossed a few things into a nondescript backpack and left back through his window.

He went to the flower shop where he'd gotten the bluebell and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was still open, even though it was now getting close to 19h00. He went inside and picked up a bright red rose from the container by the counter. He was getting ready to purchase it when he saw a small sign about flower meanings.

"One meowment," Chat requested. He went back to the container to grab a second red rose for his princess, based on the meanings. Harole wrapped the flowers for him and the hero felt a pounding in his chest when he looked at the flowers he was excited to give to his girlfriend. He paid for the roses and was handed his change and the flowers.

"I hope that she likes them," Harold told the hero. Chat's smile brightened and he felt himself relax a little as he twisted the flower in his hand, admiring it from every angle.

"I'm sure that she will," Chat assured, "they're meowvelous. Thank you, Sir." Chat left the flower shop and checked the time. He needed to set up their date before he could go back to the bakery, so he took off, running over rooftops to the location he planned to take her.

He was happy that there wasn't too much work for him to do when he landed on the roof of a church that had a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. This was one of his favorite spots in the city, where he kept a blanket and some pillows for when he just wanted to lay out and look at the stars.

He straightened out the blanket and placed the pillows down on top of it, then he knelt down to start taking things out of his backpack. He took out a speaker and a few candles, far fewer than he'd used the night Glaciator attacked for the first time. He grabbed out a small picnic set, complete with plates and utensils, then checked the time.

It was 19h50 and he needed to get going back to the bakery to pick up Marinette. He took off back in the direction of his room and picked up his jacket before he made his way back to her balcony. When he landed, Marinette was standing on the balcony, looking over the city in a knee length black dress with green detailing.

He landed behind her and almost immediately threw his arms around her, holding her to him which caused her to giggle. He placed a kiss on her cheek and a bright smile bloomed across her face.

"You look ameowzing, princess," he whispered to her and she felt the heat of a blush forming on her cheeks. She turned to face him and give him a kiss, but she was surprised to find that when she turned around, he was holding two beautiful red roses out to her and wearing a suit jacket.

"You clean up well," she told him, placing a short kiss on his lips, "for a tomcat." He placed a hand over his heart dramatically, as though she had just broken it before she plucked the roses from his hand. "They're lovely. Thank you, minou." She placed them into a small container on the balcony table with the plan to bring them inside once they got back from their date.

Her heart pounded at the word. The two of them were going on a date. One that he planned where he seemed sure that no one would bother them. They had been dating for a month, but this was the first time since they started dating that they would be doing something together outside of her family's apartment.

Chat jumped up onto the railing and held his baton in his right hand. He bowed to his girlfriend and extended his left hand in a 'do you trust me?' pose. She placed her hand in his and he helped her up to join him on the railing. It was nerve wracking for her, but she trusted him more than anyone.

He held her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck as he took off in the direction of their date.
