"Will you come hang out with me?" Chat requested, looking at Marinette from his spot up on her bed. Marinette had been jokingly upset with him for a few days after he asked him about revealing his identity, then never bringing it up again. She considered not giving him the affection he wanted, but she couldn't resist his hugs for long.

She went up to her bed and sat down next to him. She leaned into him, but didn't reach her arms out to him, even though he wrapped his arms around her. "Are you just not interested in cuddling right now, purrincess?"

"You didn't ask me to cuddle," she teasingly reminded her boyfriend. "You just asked me to come up here to hang out with you." He jokingly pouted at her and it took almost no time for her to cave and wrap her arms around her boyfriend.

"What's this," he teased, pointing to her pout, "Ladybug? Hissappointed because she doesn't get to know her minou's identity, yet? You don't have to throw a hissy fit, my love. You'll get to learn who I am soon enough." She gently pushed away the finger that was drawing attention to her pout.

"Thiss is bullying," she told her boyfriend in a sharp contrast to the smile that was spread out across her face from ear to ear. "I can't believe it, you care so much about me not being mean to myself just to turn around and bully me yourself."

"Gentle bullying is a love language when it comes from the right person," he told her. "I know, for a fact, that it's one that you use fairly often, unless it's directed at yourself. You're always too sincerely mean to yourself." He ruffled his girlfriend's hair and she nuzzled a little bit toward his shoulder area.

She blushed at the callout and decided to subvert the conversation. "If you're not going to tell me your name yet, you should at least tell me about yourself." She leaned back on her bed, head resting on her pillow as Chat moved to get more comfortable from his position sitting up next to her.

"You should give me a hisstory of the one and only Chaton Noir, even if he went by a different name back then." She squeezed his hand and he thought about what he should possibly say in response.

"Well, there isn't a lot to say about Chaton Noir. He grew up in a family where he was expected to be sophissticated regardless of the situation. Honhisstly, when I was a kid, I didn't get to spend a lot of time with people who were close to my age. I barely remember going out and doing anything before… around the time when I became Chat Noir."

From her spot holding his hand, Marinette could feel the smooth metal of Chat's ring under her finger. 'If someone else were in my poshission, it wouldn't really be difficult to remove his ring and learn his identity without his permhission.' The thought came to her mind before she could stop it. She didn't like the thought, so she stopped touching the ring.

He considered what he could tell her from his childhood and after a while of contemplation, he began speaking. "I never had any real siblings," he told Marinette, "I'm an only child, but when I was a kid, I had two people who were like siblings to me. My cousin and the daughter of some of my parents' close friends were like a brother and hisster to me."

Marinette nodded in understanding, thinking about Nino and Kim, her own claimed brothers. "It's interesting, though, the girl used to act like she had a crush on me. Apparently, she used me as a beard for like 7 years before she felt comfurtable enough to come out as a lesbian. Now, she's out and dating my ex."

Marinette couldn't help but wonder if Chat felt the same as Adrien did when he found out that Chloé and Kagami were dating. The comparison wasn't something that she actively thought about, but it was the closest situation that she knew about.

A yawn came from Marinette, spreading to Chat Noir as well. While Marinette's was simple, Chat's looked like a typical cat yawn that seemed to stretch out his jaw more than she thought was even possible for a human. "What do you call a pile of cats?" he asked when he finished his yawn.

Marinette considered for a moment, trying to think of an answer for him. "Mount Everhisst?" she offered. Chat felt a strong laugh bubble out of his chest, deciding that he liked his girlfriend's answer more than he liked the original answer.

"I was thinking a meowntain," he responded with a smile, "but that was hissterical." He gave her forehead a small, appreciative kiss. "How about this one- why did the duck get arrested?" He squeezed her gently, loving the feeling of her sitting in his arms.

Marinette had to think a little harder about that one. She was armed with cat jokes, not duck jokes, but she was hopeful she could think of something. "Was it because he was suspected of fowl play?" she suggested.

"You can't arrest someone on suspicion like that," Chat responded. He didn't know if that was true or not, but that was the claim he decided to go with. "Obviously, he was arrested for selling quack." Marinette laughed and it was infectious to him. He couldn't help but to laugh with his girlfriend.

"I love you," he told her when the two of them calmed down from their fits of laughter. He ran his clawed fingers through her hair as he held her in his arms. She gave him a quick, soft kiss on his lips and he smiled.

"I love you too, my knight," she told him. The two of them spent the rest of the evening exchanging terrible jokes and just talking. Chat told Marinette as much about himself as he could, but she didn't try to figure out his identity. If he wanted her to know, he would tell her now that he was allowed to.

"I don't think I'll be able to come over as early as usual tomorrow," he told her, "but I'll do my best to be here before you fall asleep." She nodded in understanding and snuggled a little closer to him. It didn't take very long after that for her to fall asleep against him. He stayed with her a little while longer before he eventually had to leave, knowing he had to wake up extra early for his long day the next day.
