Wheeljack was sitting in his room on his berth thinking about the shower incident. I was so stupid, shouldn't have said anything.
Bulkhead came into the room to talk to him, "Wheeljack? Buddy?"
"Hey, Bulk."
"You ok?"
"Not really."
"Arcee told me what happened."
"I feel like a complete fool now, she doesn't even like me. I should have asked her if she liked me before I asked her to be my mate."
"I don't think it's that. She lost two partners in this war, mechs she really cared about, one of them was killed right in front of her. So I don't think it's that she doesn't like you, she's just scared."
"Oh, I'm starting to understand now. That's why she turned me down, she's afraid to get close to another mech in fear of losing him as well and going through the grief all over again."
"Exactly. Just give her some time."
"I will."
Just then the alarms sounded, "I better go see what's going on, I'll come to see you when I return," Bulkhead told him.
"Alright, stay safe."
"I will," Bulkhead said as he ran out of the room.
Later Wheeljack was laying down on his berth when he heard his door open, "Bulkhead?"
There was silence for a moment then... "No, it's me."
"Arcee?" He asked as he sat up.
"Yeah, Bulkhead is still out on the mission. I came to give you your Energon ration," she said as she walked over to him.
"Ok, thank you," he said as he reached out for the cube. Arcee puts it in his servo, he takes it, and drinks the Energon, "Bulkhead was here earlier and he told me about your past. I now understand why you turned me down."
"I do like you Wheeljack, I'm just scared."
"I understand and I can guarantee you that you won't lose me, it's hard to take out a Wrecker."
"Yeah, I've noticed that in Bulkhead."
There was some silence after that as Wheeljack finished up his Energon, he finished up and handed the cube back to Arcee. Arcee took it and suddenly Wheeljack reached out and grabbed her servo before she could walk away, he pulled her closer to him and because of the suddenness of it Arcee ended up dropping the cube causing it to break, "What was that?" Wheeljack asked.
"Nothing, just the cube breaking after I dropped it."
"Oh," Wheeljack said as he got closer to her face, "Could I at least feel you, to get a picture of what you may look like?"
Arcee stood there looking at him, hesitant to give an answer, "Yeah... Ok."
Wheeljack smiled feeling happy that she said yes, he started running his servos over her helm and faceplate. Feels like she has a nice face and a nice helm. His servos ran down to go over her body feeling out every curve. Arcee couldn't help but shiver under his soft touches. She has a nice and slender body. Oh Primus I wish I could see her.
"Getting a good image?" She asked in a whisper leaning into his audio receptor.
"Yes, and I'm loving it," he whispered back.
"I-I love you Wheeljack."
Wheeljack stopped his servos landing them just below her aft, if the metal covering wasn't on Arcee would be seeing his optics widening in shock, "You do?"
"Yes."
"I love you too."
"And I've changed my mind, I want to be your mate."
Wheeljack grabbed her and flipped her over onto his berth laying her on her back causing her to yelp in surprise as he gets on top of her, "Do you really?"
She puts a hand on his face while looking at him, "Yes."
He smiled before he kissed her passionately once again, his servo roaming over her body.
A couple of hours later Arcee woke up next to Wheeljack, she looks at him as a smile formed on her face. She leans in to kiss him on the cheek which woke him up, "Sleep well my love?" He asked her.
"Yes, I did. You?"
"Better than ever before."
They lay there enjoying each other's company and feeling happy about their mating when a knock suddenly came at the door, "Wheeljack, Arcee," they heard Ratchet's voice from the other side, "You two need to come, the rest of the team is back and Bulkhead's been seriously wounded."
