"This is a really nice place," Eddie said to Jamie as they walked though the foyer of the house.

"I agree," he replied, squeezing her hand.

They were officially on the hunt for a new home. They weren't too pressured to find anything just yet but wanted to see what their options were. They had looked at a few houses already in the Bay Ridge area but hadn't found anything they were too crazy about.

Their criteria for a home was quite simple. At least three or four bedrooms, a fenced in yard, a garage, and space. They loved their East Village apartment but over time, their stuff had started to pile up and they were running out of space to place it. They knew that the housing market in NYC was quite pricey so they weren't expecting to find something that would check off every item on their list.

"It's definitely in a better condition than the other houses were," Eddie said. "I like this one a lot. There's something more home-y about it. I can see us here."

"It's not too big or too small either. This house is a good size. Still needs a bit of work though," Jamie added as he glanced around.

"Yeah but we can do it," Eddie replied, starting to bounce on the balls of her feet in anticipation. "It's nothing that we can't handle. You fix stuff up all the time. Pop knows stuff too. I don't know much but I can learn. Maybe we can…"

Eddie started to list off all the possible things they could do to the home as Jamie stared at her fondly. From the way her eyes shined as she spoke, he knew that this house was it. She was sold and so was he. It wasn't the grandest of homes like the ones surrounding it but there was something about this one that was intriguing. It checked off all the items they were looking for. It had four big bedrooms, a backyard that seemed even bigger than Henry and Frank's, a garage that would fit both of their cars, and more than enough space.

"You really like this place, don't you?" Jamie asked his wife, grabbing her hand and pulling her to him.

"Yeah," she replied, wrapping her arms around him for a hug. "I can see us living here. It has everything we want. We could probably host a family dinner here. What do you think about it?"

"I love it," he said as he ran his hand up and down her back. "I think it'll be a great place for us."

"It's even one street away from Henry and Frank," Eddie added as she turned and pointed out toward the direction of their house.

"Would you be okay with that?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" she replied, a little confused now. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Not everyone would want to be living that close to their in-laws."

"Well... my in-laws are pretty great people so I don't mind it at all," she answered softly. "Also, Henry said that if we found a place close enough to them, he'd cook for me more so..."

"Of course he'd say that," Jamie laughed. "He just wants us close so he and Dad can be in walking distance for when we have kids."

"True," Eddie chuckled. "So... is this place a yes or should we wait? I know you said that we were just seeing what our options were."

"Yeah but I think we're done."

Eddie smiled widely, "Yeah? This is the one?"

He nodded, "Yeah. This is the one."
