Marinette wasn't sure what to expect when Chat said he was going to show her who he really was but she was absolutely not expecting Chat to be Adrien Agreste. Marinette was expecting to see a stranger in front of her or at least someone she saw on the streets but didn't know.
Adrien stood in front of her waiting for a reaction from Marinette. He didn't know what her reaction would be but he hoped that it wouldn't be too much of a negative reaction even though he didn't expect a positive reaction either. Though as the seconds and minutes went by Marinette didn't react she just stood there staring at him.
Adrien took this as her being disappointed knowing that Adrien was Chat so he sat on the couch and looked down. "If you're disappointed that it's me that's fine you don't have to stay here and much less keep being my girlfriend if you don't want to be."
That's when Marinette finally moved from her spot and she sat next to him and signed. 'I don't want to break up with you just because you're Chat Adrien.'
Adrien looked at her shocked. "So you're planning on breaking up with me for another reason?'
Marinette giggled. 'I didn't mean that what I meant was that I'm not going to break up with you because of who Chat really is. Plus I'm not disappointed though I am surprised I never expected Chat to be one of my friends.'
"Wait, you considered me one of your friends?" Adrien asked, surprised.
`Of course I did, it's true that I don't know you as long as my other friends but since we first met I thought of you as my friend… though now I guess you're more than a friend and I never knew it.' Marinette signed with a smile.
Adrien smiled back. "So you don't mind that I'm Chat Noir?"
'No I'm actually glad that it's you' Marinette signed. 'I was always worried about finding out who Chat was since if he was someone that I didn't know I would feel awkward not knowing how to act around him. True I knew Chat but people know how to act and the person behind Chat could be a completely different person than I knew as Chat. Though I know you Adrien and you're a great guy.'
Adrien smiled and hugged her. "Thank you princess, I'm so glad I met you. You are the reason for who I am now as Chat. I was able to be myself but you showed me a new meaning in life…I love you."
Marinette was surprised by what he said it was the first time Chat… well Adrien told her that he loved her. Marinette smiled and broke the hug and signed. 'I love you too, Adrien… So does anyone else know that you're Chat?'
"My dad, my agent, Natalie dad's assistant, and Chloe." Adrien replied.
Marinette was surprised. 'Chloe knew this whole time?'
"She only found out earlier today when she walked in and saw me taking off my disguise. I was in such a rush that I forgot to lock the door and she even gave me advice to tell you as soon as possible that I was Chat." Adrien replied.
Marinette nodded. 'I see and she is your childhood best friend so I would understand if you did tell her first.'
"You were always the person I wanted to tell first." Adrien replied. "Though I'm not ready for anyone else to know about this."
Marinette nodded. 'Don't worry Adrien, your secret is safe with me until you're ready to tell the public.'
Adrien smiled. "Thanks princess."
…
Now Adrien's life was perfect; he had everything he could wish for. Adrien looked over at Marinette and smiled, blowing a kiss at her and winking before going on stage and doing his show. Marinette smiled as she watched him with love in her eyes.
Adrien always thought that sound was the only way to show emotions and opinions but Marinette showed him that sound isn't the only way to express emotions and opinions. Thanks to her, Adrien learned that sound and silence make the perfect match.
