Clouds and Rain
Good evening all, welcome back to Cloud Gamer. I do not own Naruto or the Gamer, but I do own Shin, in all of his socially stunted goodness. I didn't leave the poll up for long, but I agree with the majority of responses.
Agh fuck this type 1 system bullshit I can't even read the reviews to respond to! I'll add them at the bottom instead, apologies for the inconvenience!

"I was thinking about leaving the village"
"What?"

"I meant what I said"
"You can't be serious, Shin stop this bullshit before you do something stupid!"
"Yeah, yea I get it, but if I did what would you do?"
"I'll drag you back kicking and screaming like an older sister should do."
"I think I'm the older one here, if I wasn't here, you would still be stuck tangling yourself in laundry and eating canned tuna instead of human food."
"Yet the calendar disagrees, tough luck little bro, accept your position with grace."
She was smirking while facing towards the setting sun in front of us, I looked towards her and saw the look on her face. She may have believed me, but I was lying through my teeth, if I didn't want to be found I wouldn't be, even if it was her looking for me.
She smacked my shoulder gently and hopped back into our room, a room where we had tons of memories over the few years we had been here. I headed back in myself, and we went downstairs to have dinner together, it was a little late, so the matron had handled the cooking and we sat down next to Sato and Suzumi, 2 twins that we had taken to caring for as older siblings. The mother had passed away due to complications at birth and with the father away for war they ended up here, so we had cared for them as the oldest kids here.
After dinner we went back up into the room and Yugito sat down on the bed before yawning and grabbing a towel from our closet and heading back out. After she was gone down the hall, I grabbed the kunai and shuriken B had gifted us and stashed them in my inventory, along with a large water bottle and a few pairs of clothes. The last thing I grabbed was a first aid kit I kept under my bed that held a couple of medicinal pills and bandages and stashed it away in the inventory.
'I am ready, I am prepared, I have nothing here, I am going to leave'. As much as I tried to psych myself up with my words there was a stinging feeling in my chest when I thought of Yugito. She meant nothing and everything at the same time, I knew I cared about her, but I didn't feel like I did, it steeled my resolve as I pulled out a pen and some paper to compose a letter.
Funny how this ended up eh? I still remember when you picked me up at B's house a couple of years ago and how happy you looked with your family. It was a fun time we had, but that time is over now, I feel nothing towards this village and that holds me from entering a war which I will surely die in.
I love you like a sister Yugito; we will always be like siblings to me and if we ever meet again, I will surely help you as I believe you would me. However you may feel about me leaving will not change my decision, may you feel betrayed, lost, heartbroken or depressed know that I am still out there, waiting for the day we can meet again under nicer clouds, over greener pastures, where its just you and me.
I'll send a letter every once in a while, but don't bother sending back if you want to talk come find me, and maybe you can try and drag me back like a little brother would be.
I love you Yugito, so much in fact it makes my heart feel something to leave you like this, but I can't stay, there is a wide world out there that I couldn't visit as a shinobi, there are people I want to see, people I want to meet and grow to know.
You have several years before this means anything but watch yourself, the red dawn will chase after your prisoner. The ghost of the Uchiha is a mask, the Jashin cult is immortal, the strings have cores, the crows are sick, the shark is honourable, no one can become a puppet fully, the art of explosions consumes oneself, the plant is always watching, the ripples share vison, the angel has fallen, the snake is a traitor, that is all.
Watch out for the black robes with red clouds, do not approach because you will surely die, that's enough with the cryptic messaging now. For the last time I love you, train hard and become an older sister I can be proud of.
P.S The clouds will gather years from now, the forecast is quite early, until the ninth is sealed no plans will be set in motion.
From your little bro – Shin
I planted my pen down and let the paper rest while I hopped out of the window into the evening sky, clouds were above, dark as grey it would rain soon so I would have to find shelter, kumo didn't have a sensory team but it did have quite a few patrols that didn't change, it would be easy to escape them with the right timing and some genjutsu.
I leaped over the fence of the orphanage and began to run towards the southern wall of the village, most patrol groups would be focused on intruders and not deserters so I had a better chance of escaping than usual, from the map I remembered to the south would be the land of fire if I followed the land west and if I continued south over the ocean I could end up in the land of water.
It didn't take more than a moment for me to decide to head towards the land of fire, through the land of frost and the land of hot water. I used chakra to climb up the village wall and then jumped over the barrier, onto the ground below. I started to sprint as fast as I could through the trees, using minimal chakra to hop between them gaining a skill while doing so.
"Skill obtained 'Tree hopping' level 1"
"Allows the user to pour chakra into the soles of their feet to increase speed and momentum over branches.
Each jump uses 5 charka points"
I ignored the notification and used the skill as I leapt through the trees, I was around 20 kilometres out after an hour and had already gained 3 levels in the skill, and one main level. After a further 10 kilometres I encountered my first patrol that sped past without a single thought.
I continued to leap through the trees, and I had been encountering more patrols over the past 3 hours, the clouds were building up above and I was ready to tuck in for the night at 11pm.
The next morning
I stirred in my hiding spot and quickly placed all of my used supplies back into my inventory while picking up my pace again, my goal for today was to enter the land of frost, a tundra environment that held many mountains to provide a natural defence against invaders. This by extension helped kumo which they repaid with an alliance for the 2nd and 3rd shinobi wars.
I was still around 200 kilometres out from the border, but I was starting to get chilly, it was around 9 degrees Celsius as I was jumping through the trees at an early 5am. There weren't many patrols in the early morning as the rays of sunshine were just appearing on the horizon to my left as I hopped onto another thick branch, leaves shaking in my wake.
I picked up my pace even more today, confident on my gained levels in 'Tree Hopping' to get the job of landing done, I was coasting around 35 kilometres per hour now and would reach the land of frost by midday.
After a couple more scares from surrounding patrols the heavy earth below me slowly transitioned into snow and ice, I could see the valley that held Shimo, the village hidden in frost. There were several mountains in my way and border patrols would be annoying again so I decided to set up camp for the day inside of a canopy inside one of the large trees the land was littered with, I pulled out my sleeping bag for a quick nap so I could head out in the evening.
3 hours later
I pulled out a kunai and headed down the tree to find some sort of life to hunt. I prowled around the area where my camp was and found a small family of squirrels taking part in a meal, on top of a net.
The net quickly scooped them all up and a teenager jumped out of the bush on the opposite side of the clearing. "Gotcha! Let's see how many today. One, two, three, four. A quartet! How lucky I am!" He yelled to himself while tying up the net and dragging it behind him back to a small cabin that was lit up from inside.
The young adolescent greeted the elder sitting on a chair on the porch and kicked open the door, holding up his bag like an Olympian medal. "Look here Ma! I caught a quartet!" He yelled so loud I could hear it from over 30 meters away.
I closed in the distance to the house but suddenly had a kunai put to my neck. "Who are you, youngster?" A raspy voice said, and I tried to turn around, but he drew blood on my neck while pushing it into me.
"Now now, no need to be impatient. State your name, affiliation and reason for being here."
"I am Shin, I have no affiliation and I was looking for some food." I replied simply while staring at the wall in front of me. We were positioned on the corner of the front of the house, our position was not visible by any windows.
"Don't expect me to be so naïve brat. Next time you lie to me, the knife will not just be drawing blood." The man behind me said in a cold voice, his breath on my ear.
"I told no lies; I left my home and was coming through the area for food. Can you please let me leave now?"
In response he slammed my head into the wall before vanishing without a trace, I wiped my neck with my palm and rubbed the sore on my head. The old man that was on the porch walked around the side of the house and looked at me.
"Who are you? You better not be a shinobi, I already told you I wouldn't re-join the ranks!"
"My name is Shin; I am not a shinobi."
"Good, for a second there I thought they lowered the age requirement again. You look 7 at most so what are you doing out here in the cold?"
"I left my village and was hoping you could spare some food. Can you?"
He shifted awkwardly in place for a few moments before putting up his hand and walking into the house, he came back a few minutes later and said, "You can come in for a meal today, but you better pull your weight and leave by morning."
"Yes sir." I responded flatly while following him inside, it was a cosy home, it only had 4 rooms, a master bedroom, a kitchen, a loungeroom and a dining room. There were 6 people besides me in the house right now, there was a older brunette woman who had just put a pot of food on the table, 2 little kids that were slamming their cutlery in synch, the old man who brought me inside and was now taking his seat at the end of the table, the teenager I saw earlier eyeing me sceptically from the couch and a middle age man at the other end of the table.
I was still standing in the doorway as the 2 little kids jumped out of their chairs and raced over to me. "Who are you? Whats your name? Are you a ninja?" They threw several more questions I couldn't catch while the old man was chuckling to himself after shifting his seat around.
"Why don't you introduce yourself?" He said while eyeing me with cold eyes.
"My name is Shin; I came here from kumo and will be leaving tomorrow after helping around." I said while rubbing the heads of the two next to me, they were only about 20cm shorter than me, but they didn't mind it.
"Pfh how can a toddler like you help us in any way? Just sit back and maybe you can learn a thing or two when I take you outside later." The older teen said arrogantly while smirking.
"I'm sure I can help in some way. Since I introduced myself, can you please do the same? It's hard to communicate by saying you! Or hey!"
The two kids lined up in front of me and sucked up a deep breath while nodding at each other.
"My name is Hara! My name is Gojo!" They both shouted while pointing at each other. "We want to be the coolest shinobi ever! Like the third raikage and general Hyoza!"
'This sounds rehearsed' I thought while listening to the speech that essentially gave me their names, dreams and some phobia they shared for the dreaded snow bear that lives in the mountains.
Hara was a young girl with dark brown hair and hazel eyes, she wore thick, warm clothes and a crimson beanie over her head. Gojo had blonde hair and bright blue eyes, he also wore the same heavy clothing, and his beanie was a dark blue colour.
They ran back to their seats and the teenager on the couch had a thoughtful expression on his face before deciding to speak up. "I'm Pol, I am the person who handles the labour around here and will be making sure you do at least something to hold your weight in your short stay here." He put emphasis on the length of my stay, showing he wanted me out of here as soon as possible. Pol had a buffalo plaid red and black jacket over a black shirt, he wore heavy brown pants and snow boots that he had yet to take off. His hair was a brown colour that contrasted his blue eyes and pale skin.
The old man was up next as he positioned his knees around the back of the chair to face me. "The names Fugo, I'm a retired special forces shinobi that is living the easy life with my son and his family." Fugo wore a tight white collared shirt and had cream trousers on, it seemed he didn't care about the cold with his choice of clothing, but I put that thought away to further study his appearance. He was balding but there were still grey hairs dwindling around the sides of his head, his eyes were a dark blue and wrinkles covered his face and visible neck.
Finally, the man at the head of the table spoke in a commanding tone. "Hello Shin, I'm Yukio, Fugo's son and a jonin of Shimo." Yukio had bright blonde hair that flowed to his right side and had dim blue eyes. His choice of fashion was leagues better than his father's as he wore the standard shinobi uniform of a navy-blue long-sleeved shirt and dark pants with a dark grey flak jacket over his shirt.
His wife entered the room with another plate of food and gestured me to sit on a seat next to Yukio. "Hello, my name is Yura. I'm a medic nin of Shimo and I'm on leave right now to take care of these munchkins." She said while grabbing Hara's cheek playfully. Yura had brown hair and black eyes and wore a maroon jumper under her apron and heavy black pants.
"Thank you for letting me stay the night, I shall leave early in the morning." I said while bowing my head.
"If you're so thankful go get some firewood with the axe outside." Pol said, still holding the smirk on his face which only widened as I headed out the door.
I left the house and the chatter that was starting behind me as I picked up the axe that was stuck inside of a log outside. It was too dark to see properly so I chucked it into my right hand and flickered a "Lightning style: Lightbulb" on my left pointer finger as I walked into the forest, the jutsu ate up chakra but I needed to level it up anyways and I needed to see.
Up ahead of me was a white birch tree with some snow hanging from its branches, carrying them to the ground. I took a stance on the side of the tree and swing my axe with a chakra empowered swing, felling it with one blow.
I swiftly diced up the 12m log into small pieces and headed back to the cabin where the family was enjoying their meal. 'Why did I even ask' I thought to myself while pouring the wood from my inventory and onto the snow. I left the cabin behind again and went to pick up my sleeping bag at the tree I left it with in the afternoon.
While I waved around my finger to find the tree, I ducked down to narrowly dodge a kunai thrown from behind me. I heard a small click of a tongue and took cover behind a bush, deactivating my light jutsu and putting a genjutsu over my position. I was running at just about half of my chakra which wasn't good at all.
There was shuffling from my previous position and the moonlight showed a figure searching around in the snow for their lost weapon. Due to how much noise there was, I knew they couldn't be a shinobi, they also left their back far too exposed for someone who knew an enemy was nearby but that could be because they have a squad mate around to try and catch me.
I took a chance and took a single kunai from my inventory, slowly sneaking up behind the figure, they were much taller than me, but while knelt down they were about rib height on me. I covered the distance silently while they continued to rummage around the snow, I swiftly grabbed onto their hair and put my kunai against the neck of my victim.
I twisted around and laid us both against a tree to my back and them in front of me, head next to my shoulder, limbs laying forward and in the snow.
"I ask the questions you answer nothing else. If I hear a single peep besides a satisfactory answer, I shall slit your neck immediately. Nod if you understand." I waited until they shifted their head slightly up and down before continuing.
"What is your name?"
"Pol."
"What?" I activated my light jutsu, ignoring the level up screen and held it towards him. Sure enough it was the same teenager that was sitting on the couch earlier.
"My name is Pol." He said, barely stuttering it out with his quivering lips.
"Why did you attack me?"
"You are putting my family in danger. I can't allow that." He gritted his teeth and leaned into my knife, I quickly pulled it away, leaving only a nick on his neck.
"Why did you do that?"
"If I can't even protect my family from a child, how can I protect them from the rest of you war hungry mongrels? I'm better off dead." He said while tears welled up in his eyes, grounding up snow in his already red hands.
"Why would you need to protect them? Your family seems to have plenty of shinobi there already that can handle themselves."
"You battle hungry fuckers keep coming after us! We already had to leave the village and now they have followed us out here! Stay away from my family you pig!" He yelled while tears fell onto the backs of his palms.
I sat there silently while listening to his rant, the original series only went through the short-term impacts war had and even then, only on the battlefield, here I got to see another side of war, the spectators that had to watch their loved ones be dragged onto the field to lose their lives over petty combat.
He abruptly got up and wiped his tears before trying to stomp my head into the tree I was leaning against, I quickly parried the kick and he stumbled into the ground, hitting his head roughly on the tree and sliding down to my shoulder, unconscious.
I carried him back to the front porch of their house and knocked twice before running back into the forest, leaving the family to themselves. My stomach was already rumbling since I didn't hunt that day and I decided to skip the meal tonight and wake up early tomorrow for extra time.
The next morning
I awoke in my sleeping bag that I set up on a thick branch 16m above the ground, the clouds were out, and they shielded my eyes from the sun as I rubbed my eyes to clear them of rest.
Quickly packing up my sleeping bag, I walked down the tree while making a mental checklist of my goals for the next few hours, I had many long-term goals, but I just needed to worry about getting to a safe, secure location for a more permanent residence.
My list started with hunting, then making the trek over the Hagoma range in front of me. There were several large mountains I would have to navigate to become clear of the cold wasteland and into the warm territory of hot water.
'Maybe I should make a stop in Shimo for a sword' I mused while grabbing a kunai from my inventory and heading into the forest at a quick pace, my stomach was rumbling, and I read it was the perfect season for snow boar. They resided in high altitudes, just below the 600m mark inside of caves so I used chakra to amplify my speed while running up the mountain at over 40kmph.
I ran by multiple empty caves on my way up the mountain which all had several large gashes cut into the stone itself. I knew there were predators on the mountains, but the books didn't do them justice if this was what they were capable of.
At the peak of the mountain was a large cave over 10m in diameter at the entrance that steadily went down inside. I was getting very hungry now, so I kept my eyes peeled and slowly made the trek through the tunnel, it was cold, water dripping from stalactites that stuck to the ceiling.
I kept my light jutsu on as I went downwards and slowly lost sight of the entrance behind me, the cave was slowly expanding upwards and outwards as I reached a large underground lake inside of the mountain with shorelines covered in shadows.
I put a sliver of chakra into my feet and walked over the water, waving around my finger to shine light on my surroundings. There were skeletons of several beasts on the shore and a large mound of black fur slowly rising and falling as I walked across the water.
I stepped onto the shoreline and the mound stopped moving, a large rumbling came from around me as it rolled over, displacing several small stones with it. The roof was tall in the underground area, I'd put an estimate around 20 meters which is huge, but this creature made it look like a normal sized room as it got up on its hind legs and spread out its arms before letting out a guttural roar that made ripples in the lake.
I instinctively took a step back and it charged at me with its left hand raring to go. It was so tall as it entered the lake it was barely up to its waist, the water slowed down the bear quite a bit, but a huge fucking bear is still a huge fucking bear and I wasn't a fan of huge fucking bears, especially huge fucking bears that were trying to make me huge fucking dead. I would have said 'huge fucking' in my head again but it across at my legs and I barely jumped over the appendage before landing back on the water.
It swung back again, and I threw a kunai with my right hand at its face, it easily swatted it away and I got a good look at its ugly mug while it was turning towards me. It had a large gash over its right eye and its skin was grey with bright red eyes that bore into me with murderous intent.
I dashed backwards out of its reach and looked around at my environment for any advantages I could use, since kunai wont work. On the roof there were several stalactites hanging around the room and there were already half broken ones sitting on the shore among other things like bones and rounded rocks.
The bear used its own time to position itself in front of the entrance so I couldn't escape, my eyes swivelled around the area one more time finding a small hole that water was running through at the edge of the cave. That was the last resort if my plan didn't work so I refrained from grabbing another kunai and instead put my hand in front of me, palm facing downwards to the water.
"Lightning style: Thunder spear!" I shouted while grasping onto the rod in my hands and flinging it forwards, I used 150 chakra points in it and with the lightbulb jutsu I was using I was sitting at 1000 cp, just over 70% of my reserves remaining as I watched my jutsu fly through the air.
The beast tried to swat away the spear with its forearm, but it sank deep into, and through the flesh of the limb, taking out a large slab of flesh along with it. The arm did direct it enough to avoid its head though and it dissipated after striking the cave wall.
I smiled at the damage caused as it roared in pain before moving at a quicker pace towards me and swiping from above with its right paw, which I dodged easily as it splashed the water around it flinging me backwards a couple of meters and near the shoreline.
'Just a bit more' I thought while looking up at the roof, the stalactites points shining in a cartoonish fashion as if waiting for their opportunity to strike. The bear made its gravest mistake and pushed towards me, and I made another thunder spear with the same amount of chakra and flung it at the roof above it. The spear hit perfectly as it blew through several bases of stalactites that fell along the bear's body littering it with wounds as they pierced its shoulders, arms, and chest, leaving gushing wounds in each as it stood there frozen in pain.
The beast snapped out of its stupor and roared loudly, shaking the entire lake and causing a wave to pass over my feet and several more spikes to land in the water around it, its eyes changed to a deep red as it charged towards me with new vigour.
I grabbed one of the broken spikes that laid on the shore behind me and desperately threw it at the beast, piercing its upper left torso but not stopping it at all. The bear reached my location in less than 30 seconds and started to swipe furiously at me, I dodged around and pulled a kunai from my inventory.
We both stood on the shoreline, me at a measly 1.3 meters and the bear at nearly 16 meters. It launched a kick in my direction which I dodged and then pounced on top of me, trying to crush me with its front legs. I slid between the legs and stabbed my kunai into its upper torso and running down its belly and out the other side, leaving its innards to spill on the ground behind me.
I inwardly celebrated my victory as I heard a crash behind me, signalling its death as blood poured between my shoes and into the water. There were several notifications lined up for me on my left, so I sat on the bear's corpse in triumph and looked through them.
"You have defeated a great foe using your wits! 2 intelligence gained!"
"You have reached level 98! You have gained 5 stat points and 1 skill point!"
"You have conquered a legendary beast! Title 'Champion' Unlocked!"
"850 cp remaining!"
"Hagoma's guardian is attempting to intimidate you! Your willpower has severely mitigated the effects of the killing intent"
"Skill 'Killing intent' Formed through experience!"
"Skill 'Sense Killing Intent' Formed by extension of 'Killing intent'!"
'Insane gains' I thought while smirking atop Hagoma's guardian's corpse. I put all 10 of my stat points I had saved into strength bringing it to 100 finally.
"You have gained 100 stats in strength! Please choose a path for your strength progression (this will affect your strength stat moving forward so please put thought into it)"
"Path of the berserker: the lower your health, the more power you can put out. This effect is multiplied by 3x when in mortal danger! (While active, the greater the boost, the lower your sanity (this can be trained))
Path of the Limit breaker: the body has limits placed on itself to stop harm from coming to the user by their own power. Unlock these limits with a lowered cost! (But at a much greater difficulty)"
'So, there are milestones in this system' I mused while hopping off of the bear, I slipped and fell into the water, being dragged away rapidly by the current that was gushing because of the newly expanded hole in the wall from the stalactites. I tried to grip onto the wall but slipped due to the water and was flung out rapidly and got a beautiful site of the village hidden in the frost, the streets bustling, the onlookers towards my situation, the frozen lake below me, the frozen lake below me, the fro- OH SHIT! I was slammed by the water into a large slab of frozen water and that cut a 3rd of my hp out of my system.
"300 hp lost!"
'Thanks asshole' I thought grumpily while dragging myself onto shore and looking at the flooding pond I was just in. The icy water flowed onto the pavement and in several civilian's paths.
I was currently lying on the grass and slowly being surrounded by civilians all chattering about the usual 'who's he?' 'Why did he fall in the pond?'. I sat up and shook the water out of my hair and looked towards the nearest person, a middle-aged man with a short brown goatee and a large backpack.
"Hey, do you know where I am? Kinda just flew out of a mountain into somewhere new." I said while wrenching my clothes of any excess water.
"Yeah kid, you are in the frost village. Why were you in the mountains anyways?" He said while putting his bag on the ground and rummaging through it, giving me a towel after a while and clipping it back up.
"Well, I am travelling the world since my parents died and picking up new skills as I go. Not a really great time I'll admit but no time like the present right?" I replied while drying my hair, the other civilians still watching our conversation.
"Yes, horrible timing I must say. Have fun on your trip then, but don't go falling into any public ponds again." He said chuckling while taking back the towel and shoving it haphazardly into his bag.
The man started to leave and in his place was a spear pointed at my throat and 3 more appearing around me. "We will be taking you into custody now for illegal trespassing." A young woman in a shimo flak jacket ordered while nudging my back with her spear.
"I'm just a child you know. No need to be scared haha" I said while putting my hands up and following along towards the village gates. The guards were silent the entire way until throwing me into an iron chair with shackles on.
"Speak child, who are you?" She ordered while I sat there in my seat.
"My name is Shin, my family died a while ago and I continued my travelling around the continent, this is the first stop after their deaths in kumo." I replied.
She appraised my features for any hint of lying but didn't see any, in truth I only lied about the travelling part but that was because I didn't know what they did before they were killed.
"What were your parents' names?"
"No clue."
"Do you have a last name or clan name?"
"I have no surname"
She scribbled down a few notes on a clipboard before continuing on with the boring interrogation stuff while I spat out answers.
"Hey can I ask a question?"
"No."
"Well come on you've been probing me for at least an hour now so I could at least get 1 question answered, right?"
"Wrong, but spit it out, if its unimportant ill answer."
"How is the situation on kanabi bridge right now?"
"Iwa has taken over the land of grass and Konoha is attempting to fight against them, apparently some rookie jonin is really making a name for himself. Very flashy I must say."
"Ah I get it, didn't think you were one for jokes."
"That's because you don't know me, last question brat before you get deported."
"Hey, wait a minute can't I stay for a while?"
"You don't have any of the necessary credentials needed to stay here for however limited time you want to. You will need at least a hunter, shinobi or merchant license to stay here for any amount of time."
"Alright, how do I get those?"
"Shut up. Last question, have you received any formal training in the combat or shinobi arts?"
"Yes, I have, I was taught by my father a little before he passed away."
"That is all for now, you will be held in a cell for tonight and I shall have the requirements for the licenses sent to you along with dinner. Little tip, keep clear of Rodriguez, he's being kept here until transfer and has done some terrible stuff to children of your age."
"Thank you for the warning, but I think I can handle a civilian with a libido towards children."
"He is no civilian brat; he was an honoured chunin that held strong on the south front and was known as 'Chimera Rodriguez' from his use of the chimera technique to graft his enemy's blood limits into himself."
"What the fuck?"
"Its war, get used to it traveller" she said while leaving the room and looking back at me. She definitely saw through my lie but let it go for some reason, I shook it off and rubbed my now free hands to get the blood flowing again.
I was escorted to a dark cell and met with my new, short term, roommate. He was a tall man with white hair, he stood over 2m tall, and his body was weird, very weird. His left arm was blue with some sort of blade extending from the wrist to the elbow, his right arm was a pale skin colour similar to his face. His face had a long green pronged marking stemming from his left eye down to his chin with a pinkish colour, and his right eye was a dark black colour.
He wore a shredded top which I could see his bulging muscles through, and some ripped up shinobi pants that covered the bandages over his legs. As I was thrust into the cell, I heard him exhale loudly before getting off of the bed he was sitting on.
"Bottom or top bunk?" He said in a low gruff voice, while facing towards me.
"Top." I replied while climbing up the ladder onto my new, however temporary bed, I was too focused on not tripping to hear a small, deep chuckle escape from his throat.
"What's your name young man?" He asked while lying on his bunk below mine.
"Shin, what's yours sir?"
"Rodriguez, but my friends call me Rodger."
My heart sank and my palms started to get sweaty, I was in the same room as a minor attracted soldier, I had no chance of beating in combat if he did try something. He must have read my mind as he started to laugh deeply.
"HA HA HA! THEY MUST BE INSANE IF THEY THINK THEY CAN CHUCK A CHILD INTO MY ROOM LIKE THIS, ONE SO VULNERABLE AND WEAK." He yelled out while laughing maniacally below me. I put my back against the wall and his large blue hand reached on top of the frame of my bunk, his large hand bending the metal around them as he pulled up his second, pale arm up and then his head.
His face had a Cheshire-like grin on it and his eyes were covered by his split dyed, half white, half black hair as he pulled himself slowly up to my level. 'This isn't good, this is not good! Holy fuck I'm stuck in here with a pedo in the body of a 6-year-old child. I need to try and fight, but I can't win, he doesn't have any weapons, I do, I can win, I MUST!' I mentally psyched myself up as his torso heaved onto my bunk.
I pulled out a kunai from my inventory and his grin widened to even more impossible degrees as he licked his lips. "Oh, and he some fight! Simply delightful, delectable, you truly are a gourmet meal if I have ever had one. Don't worry, you won't find it painful after a little while, it will be fun, trust me." He said with a lecherous tone as he stalked over my mattress.
I backed up into the corner of the room as he came closer towards me, I attempted to jump off of the bed to my right and land on the ground, but my leg was grabbed by him. He moved his body slowly up mine as his hands went up my legs and back. I looked behind me and saw his eyes, the maroon, patterned pupils, dilated to cover his entire iris stared into mine as his right hand reached my throat and slowly gripped tightly.
I brought my kunai around and slashed at his face, but the fucker didn't even budge while allowing my kunai to sink into his left arm, bone deep. He ripped the arm away, along with my kunai and put his other arm around my neck. I was slowly losing consciousness as I watched his pupils spin around, like they were taunting me as I mustered up all the strength I could and ripped away my neck from his grasp, landing on the ground headfirst as he looked over the railing.
"Lots of fight I see" he said while licking the deep stab wound on his forearm and looking down at my petrified form. He picked out the kunai from his arm with a gut-wrenching squish as I stood up to fight. Jutsu was off of the table since they had applied chakra suppression seals earlier, so I was left with a couple of tools and my taijutsu against a chunin.

I obviously accepted the quest and summoned 2 more kunai into my hands, Rodriguez ripped off the top railing and put it into a bojutsu stance. Me with 2 kunai in the reverse grip, Rodger with his pole in hand clashed in the middle of the room, I was quickly pushed back and slammed against the wall before ducking a swing that came at my head.
Rodger quickly grabbed my long hair and slammed his knee into my face before throwing me by my collar into the adjacent wall on our left. I crashed roughly through the mirror and glass littered the floor, some pieces cutting me as I lay in wait for his eventual approach, and so he did.
I quickly spun around low with one kunai and knee level with the other, landing a deep cut into his ankle and a smaller one on his left shin.
"Little boy, your parents should have taught you manners. When someone is trying to give you something, YOU SHOULD ACCEPT IT WITH GRACE!" He swung rapidly, smacking my head into the wall with his staff as my lip split and I spat out some blood.
I still hadn't healed from my previous fight this morning and there were no tools her unlike last time, so I had to land a good blow while he was still underestimating me.
I put up a weak stance and waited for him to strike, sure enough, he tried to jab my left shoulder as I parried the blow with my left kunai, running it along the pole with sparks flying as I cut into his hand and threw my right kunai. He dodged quickly but the thrown knife pierced the cartilage in his ear and straight through.
I grabbed out 3 shuriken and threw them in a triangle formation, limiting his movement choices to up or down, up was impossible due to his build so I dashed in and landed a strong axe kick to the back of his neck, slamming his head into the ground.
I grabbed another kunai and attempted to plunge it straight through the back of his skull, only to be blocked by the injured right hand of my adversary and stuck into his palm. He grasped his hand around my wrist and pulled my into a headbutt but didn't let go.
Rodriguez repeatedly punched me while still holding my wrist, his grin had turned into a deep frown long ago as my system screamed out at the bloodlust emitted from his figure, the only thing keeping me alive was my hp that wouldn't let my die until it depleted. Each punch shaved off 60hp as he pelted me one last time before slamming my head into his knee, blood gushing forward from my nose as I started to get woozy from the loss.
I was sitting at under 250 hp as my back hit the wall, another 20hp being shaven off. I thought I was stronger, different, smarter, but I still got my ass kicked by some random chunin that touched kids. I still had more cards though, my skill points, my strength path, my skill vouchers, I couldn't be out of the game yet, it brought a smile to my face, all of the preparation, all of the levelling, all of the training. I laughed hoarsely as his eyebrow raised in confusion.
"Rodriguez! You may think I'm easy prey, but… THIS GAME STILL ISNT OVER!" I yelled out while throwing a single kunai at his head which he easily dodged while laughing himself.
"GOOD SHIN! YOU HAVE SOME SPUNK IN YOU! LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL OF THE LITTLE CHILDREN WHO THINK THEY CAN STAND TO THE ADULTS! YOU. WONT. WIN." He screamed while charging at me. I dodged his punch and returned one of my own at his right side, he grabbed my wrist, but I used my caught hand to grab a kunai from my inventory and with the increased length plunge it into his side.
He howled in pain as I picked up the "Berserker path" gaining 5.5 times my normal strength stat, now sitting at 550 strength I punched him straight in the cheek, flinging him backwards and through the steel door of our confinement room.
I could feel my body slipping away from my control as my mouth hanged ajar with saliva dripping on the floor. I roared loudly as the guards ran around the corner, stunned at the sight of a 6-year-old child smacking the shit out of a chunin.
I was like a spectator in my own body, unable to control myself as I sank my fist over and over into Rodriguez's skull a deep squishing sound coming out as I finally broke through his hard skull with my battered knuckles and continued to beat him down. It took 5 minutes for me to completely stop as my strength stayed at around the 260 mark because of my health.
I looked around as I gained control of myself and saw Rodriguez's remaining eyeball sitting on the ground away from me, stuck in a pink colour as I squished it under my foot and spat on the molester's body.
"Fucking pig" I spat while frowning as a great fatigue washed over me and I collapsed to the floor in a bloody, bruised heap. 'Heh, I win' I thought before slipping into unconsciousness.
Sup! I'm so sorry this took a while to get out, but I hope it was worth it! I have received numerous reviews over the past 4 days which makes me happy, and I shall respond to them all now.
You realize: They did not kill his entire clan, and Shin has no connection to them and was more focused on survival then rather than compensation. Shin isn't a rogue I just used that word in the poll to make it simple, he will be given a name later on. Right now, he has been labelled as missing with Yugito keeping the letter to herself.
The token would have been a great idea if I had thought of it while writing AGH if only I thought of that, though I rather like Shin's appearance right now with the deep crimson hair and black eyes.
At work: I doubt you will read this but the I'm trying to improve on the dialogue, this goes out to anyone who has tips for me to become more proficient in writing conversations that are simple and easy to read without seeming robotic.
SIMPDESTROYER: Please add more to a review than 'Cringe'. The beasts would be surprised about someone knowing their names since humans generally treat them as tailed weapons rather than named creatures. It was simply a thing of 'I didn't think someone would care' rther than 'wow someone found out my name'.
Thats all for reviews because I answered others through private message. Please tell me what you think of my combat, if its good, bad, shit, utterly atrocious or whatever just tell me so I can fix it if its wrong!
Bye bye - tired
