Koun loved the woods. It was quiet and removed from humans; humans hurt the people they love and take without giving back. He wanted to forget humans and every wrong they had inflicted on him. The woods held life and co-existence removed from human society. It was beautiful. But there was one human he wanted to meet again. Those crism—golden eyes that took him in a young child. In the clear where only they knew existed. He found himself there again, the pond that seemed to take in the moonlight and the trickle of water that washed down the rock formations to make a cliff. He sat on a nearby rock and stared at the moon's reflection, wondering about the girl with golden eyes that followed his waken and sleeping moments. She was probably a lot older now, but still, he wanted to thank her for keeping him company: an angry and lonely boy who wanted to disappear.
The moon's reflection began to distort as it waved. Koun got up as he saw a figure glow against the water. He walked towards the pond. He saw orange hair pool to the surface, then a petite woman emerged, a formal white shirt open to show her chest clinging to her skin. Blood trailed down her right arm and painted part of her shirt maroon. Everything was in clear view to him as he gazed down at the woman in front of him. He knew her, it was her from his younger years untouched by time. Koun wondered if he was dreaming as her golden eyes bored into his emerald ones. Her eyes started to shift color to a deep crimson. The woman's body changed with it as her once orange hair turned black and grew long, reaching down her back. Her proportions shift slightly, becoming fuller. He stared, stunned at what he had just witnessed. He should have been afraid. This was inhuman, but Koun felt pulled into her eyes. Nothing else matters outside this moment.
The raven-haired woman's hand reached out to his own, and he allowed her to grab hold of him. Her grip was freezing against his wrist. She pulled his wrist to her mouth, her lips touching his skin. He watched intently as she began to suck on his pulse. He felt dizzy, watching her face twist into contentment how her long black hair fell around her face. He wanted to reach out to pull it away to help her, but he could seem to move. The blond was unaware of anything but her. His eyes closed, enjoying the feel she was creating in him. She continued in her administration. He felt something sharp against his wrist, scratching as she sucked, supplying pain with pleasure. His eyes opened slightly, and that was when he saw something white sharp poking out of her mouth. The woman's eyes showcased Crismon and sided-eyed his face. Then a sinister smirk crossed her face, and he watched as she sank her teeth into his wrist. He shot back; she followed suit. It hurt, and yet it was euphoric. His hand gripped her hip to stabilize himself. She was draining him, but it felt amazing.
He was growing faint. His legs buckled under him and brought him to knees. She held onto his wrist. The world came back into focus, yet he only wanted to focus on her. His body was shaking as he moved his hand like he was fighting some type of restraint, but he managed to reach her hair and hold it back. Then she stopped, her eyes looking into his eyes with fear, almost as if she just realized what she was doing to him. She let him go, and whatever was holding him up disappeared, and he fell back onto the grass. He could see the sky filled with beautiful stars. Her hands frantically touch him, shaking him. Koun was fading. He felt her tongue on his wrist lap at the same spot she was biting only seconds earlier. Then she came into view though she was a blurry mix of oranges. 'Yeah, she wasn't human at all.' Koun thought as her face became closer. Tears graced her face and fell onto his face. Her mouth opened to say something, but none of it made sense to him. It was like he was underwater, drowning. But her voice was angelic, and that was his last thought as he finally let the darkness consume him.
