It is night.
Two days after the disaster, after she had been caught, the same person had taken notice of the neatly stacked bottles of the missing liquor. The liquor that they all had a big cry about, sitting behind her, empty. It had taken a toll on him, the word spreading with her now being a dead target within the gigantic ship. Of course, it didn't take her long to blend within the chaos. She clutched onto her items for the expected escape. She found the spare boats clear with an opening, she sprinted towards the gap - only to be seen by their lieutenant. It was a familiar sight, seeing men jump towards her, but this time, the impulse was different. Jumping into her escape vessel, she tugged the rope's knot-free, the boat crashed into the rough seas. She stared up and saw the same men irking at her, swearing bloody Joes and Jans - she got the ores and pushed. Pushing hard against the tides, her sweat continuously dripped from her brow, "To hell!" she thought - and left.
She checked the night sky, again. Yep, she was going to be at sea for at least another day. With using the moon as her only light source, she picked her items on the small rounded boat, well raft, and sectioned them in piles. Each pile represented a day. Banana, Apple, Alcohol. Okay, she turned towards the other pile - Apple, Pear, Banana, alcohol. Nice. Banana, apple, pear - yes, her piles were a success.
She slumped against the corner and was now bombarded with her thoughts. It was something she didn't want to really do but knew that her mind wouldn't let her ignore it, so she stared up to the night sky again, and thought out loud.
"It has been fa afe fiku selau fiku sefulu tolu days since I have left home, telling by the time, fa afe fiku selau fiku sefulu lima. Why that sounds marvelous." Coating her words with sweet sugar.
Okay. Her voice annoyed her.
'It has been fa afe fitu selau fiku sefulu tolu days since I have left home, telling by the time, fa afe fiku selau fiku sefulu lima. Why that sounds marvelous.'
She coated it with sweet sugar. Brown sugar.
How she hated the silence. The waves were calm, tipping her small boat ever so slightly like it was too, afraid to change the mood. She was now in the middle of the sea. Meaning, if there was no land, her survival would decrease and she did not like that. She opened her arms and let them sink to the sides, letting her rough callused hands be smothered by the water.
That ship was her lucky 100th.
Aunt Malia told her that "Ladies shouldn't think." She remembers. "A lady must hold her breath and speak when spoken to." Aunt Malia liked her tea sweet with two teaspoons of sugar and little milk.
Her first was on a marines ship was when she was 14.
Figures. She touched her hair that was neatly tied in a bun, vaguely. Scratching. What else could she do in this silence then? *Slipping down more, her legs clashing with her piles.* She stared at the night sky again, holding onto her compass neatly tucked in her pocket. A soft melody started to play inside her mind and slowly, her eyes closed.

Jotting down in her journal the dream she had amid her pile of objects - Night and day. Rain and sun. Mind and stomach. Oh, the stomach. Poor, poor, stomach. The piles had only lasted till the 14th day - it is now the 24th. It is very troubling for the old brown woman, stuck at sea with no more food. She pulled out the pocket knife she had snatched from the last ship and got one of her ores to sharpen the thin end into a sharp spear. That was her weapon for now. And if she added her rope, then it was her fishing pole.
From where she was, she could see from a good distance, flapping of small objects. She knew she was near a hot melting spot for nice critters for her little stomach. She used her new improved ore and another one to carefully position herself near the spot.
Looking down, she stared at the waters in concentration. In time, minutes passed as she slowly stretched her arm in an upward angle, focusing on the raptures of what could be under. In one breath, a ripple was seen and she thrust her spear fast. Quickly holding onto her rope, she had waited for a small interaction - soon two tugs were felt. She grinned in satisfaction.

Tears from her marine shirt, she quickly tied it around her forearm as the cut was going to be bleeding for a bit. She had been nicked by a shark, the bastard. Apparently, it was circling her boat during the night.
How? Her arm was out.
She sighed in frustration and then took notice that her clothes were very minimal for the trip she was having. Her marines shirt was not cropped, just under her breasts and her pants were now shorts since she has used the ends as a cloth for her little objects to be secure during the journey. "Fa afe valu selau sefulu tolu"

She saw the birds. Now that was a good sign.
Quickly getting her ores, she pursued her quick strides in the direction of the flock of birds and heaved with the little strength she had. She was finally going to be near land.
30 minutes went by and she turned her head to see a little dot amid the sea. Her hope increased and her strides grew stronger by her will to finally have a chance to eat food.
Another 30 minutes went by and there she could hear waves crash against the sand of the renowned island and she soon wrapped her small items into a simple cloth, tying it tight she threw it over to the island. She had to make sure she can survive. Getting out of the boat, half of her body was drenched. She was only in her bra and undie since many fish attacks and mistakes were made - but her breathing hardens just thinking of sticking her feet on the misty sand, and feeling the warmth radiating from the sun.
Sweat dripped from her forehead, her limp legs pushing through the currents and then solidifying her feet into the muddy substance of sand. She roared, feeling the burn from her arms pushing the boat onto the edge of the as the boat was now sunk in and had nowhere to go back. She stepped forward and fell. Her vision then started to dim, and she could feel the water clashing with her bottom half. Now she felt somewhat good. Aunt Malia would have picked at her ear, 'Girls do not play in the sand.'

"...are...y...o..."
"...wom...fetc...water...come-"
"OIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!"
She screamed in terror, opening her eyes she quickly observed her surroundings. Then she grabbed the spear that was next to her and pointed it to the source.
...
...
"Aisea e pei ai le puaa pei o se moa?".
"..."
"A what?"
"A pig and chicken - WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!"
She pulled her spear towards the talking bush that was wiggling around from where the animal was. She then started to look around and saw that she wasn't in the beach area anymore but was taken deeper into the forest that was on the island. She winced. She then started to attack the bush with her spare only for the bush to starting to dodge in every direction.
"What do you want from me- ah!"
She couldn't help but stumble to the ground since her energy was not up. Using the spare, she propped her knee up while still trying to catch her breath from the attack, she could feel that she could pass out at any given time. But being in an environment she wasn't familiar with, pissed her off and so she willed herself to stay awake. The bush that was still frozen from the last dodge slowly got of it and soon she saw a face appear. Her face scrunched up in confusion before cringing at the sight. It was an old man, inside of a chest whose feet were sticking out under him - that's how he could move. She could feel a really bad headache start to form on either side of her head as she deflated down to sit. She could not deal with these dreams she was having. Letters, objects - and now an imaginative friend. Maybe her day count was off. Maybe she was stuck at sea still. She then got the sharp edge of her spear and started to point towards her right hand. Yeah, since it is a dream - then maybe this will really jot her up awake-
"WHAT THE HELL LADY! ARE YOU AN IDIOT? OF COURSE, I'm REAL, I'VE BEEN REAL FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW!"
She had dropped her spear out of surprise from the little man's growling. She looked up and saw his face had gone bigger out of disproportion. Getting pissed off again, she used his closeness to her advantage and kicked his small figure to the ground. She grabbed her spear and closely peered it towards his face, at least a centimeter apart from his nose and the sharp pointed end.
"Where. Am. I?" She snarled.
"Please! Spare my life! I haven't lived yet! I haven't done what I've always wanted to do!"
She pressed her foot on his chest (haha) further, his breath hitched. "I said. Where am I?"
"Y-y-your on my island! I found you stranded - ah - on the beach and so - NOW!"
She flinched as she felt furry arms wrap around her waist and was tugged away from the tiny man. She was struggling from the hold that she had to forcefully drop her spear and quickly grab one of the arms, twisting it and throwing the individual over her shoulder. She winced harder as her bandages from her shark bites were aching painfully. She could feel it coming off. She turned to the treasure chest man and saw that he was not alone. There stood at least more than 10 mixed animals who were confusing to differentiate what species was what. She grabbed towards her forearm in pain and glared at the group.
"Did you see what I did there, little lady? Just because your injured and pretending to not know where you are, don't mean I will give you my pity! You pirates will never get my treasure!"
What?
She stared at the bushman properly and took in what he had looked like entirely. His hair was a green bush, shaped like an afro, while his body was inside of a chest, his fingers holding the front of it. She thought this man was delusional. Well, had to be. It looked like the man must have lived here for a long time and does not look like he could get out of that chest for a while, maybe.
"You see, I have been protecting my treasure for nearly over 20 years now and it's been my goal to make sure that lasts till my last breath- HEY! IT'S RUDE TO WALK AWAY FROM SOMEONE WHO IS TALKING!"
The brown woman was nearly out of the forest, ignoring ever seeing the tiny man in the first place. Her top priority now was to get her items from the beach and to actually find food.
"HEY! I am the Guardian of this Island and you better listen to me, little lady!"

Apparently, the tiny man's name was Gaimon. He has been living on this island for over 20 years, after falling from a cliff into an empty chest that his previous pirate crew had left. And then they left without him as well.
She found it sad, yes, but it didn't make her any less appreciative of the fact he had let one of his animal critters touch her stuff. It's been a bit of over a month on the island and has gotten used to the environment, even helping Gaimon with his crusade of being a god - scaring away pirates. Her strength hasn't really come back yet since she was, in fact, a slow bitch in healing. Still, she wanted to move around.
The other fact is that she still hasn't told her name to Gaimon. He only questioned it once before never asking again - knowing from his previous experience, he was more than happier to just talk to someone that was a human again after being stranded.
She was now on the beach from where she was before and was sharpening her spare. Her previous attire from wearing a bra and her undie/shorts had been replaced by some men's clothing that was really baggy on her that she had found from one of the shipwrecks that were crushed. She was going to go back and check the entire perimeter of the island since it wasn't as small. Her shirt was now tucked under her sweaty overused bra, making it into a crop top while leaving the long shorts as it was. Her thick, unbrushed locks were secured in a tight bun since it was again, a hot day. She had also brought back in her stranded boat, under one of the trees that were in front of the beach as a bed. Even though Gaimon had respected her personal space, even helped her heal from her shark bites - she prioritized herself.
Walking to her bedroom of a boat, she picked up her little journal and wrote, 'fa afe valu selau fa sefulu ono'. She then looked at the pictures she drew within it and reminded herself of the short dreams she had been receiving over and over. It was repeated in a cycle - it wasn't hard to not forget it. All that she saw was either a letter and under it, placed on a table was an item or object to which she did not know how either both connected. Now, this was definitely a sign that something was going to happen - she needed to secure her safety. Putting the journal back inside her little boat. She got her spare and started to walk.

Walking further and further. She was now on the other side of the island and was it a sight. There at the edge of rocks from the beach, was a huge home wreck ship in pieces. Throwing her spare into the ground - she grabbed the rope she had cut and left it on the soft band of sand before venturing towards the wreak. There were three rocks, stabbing the bottom of the ship. Making it look like the front of the ship was a nose pointing up to the sky. On the right side of the ship, was a gigantic hole where it opened towards the basement. That's where she had found crates of clothes.
What she had didn't check was the upper part of the deck since the tide was coming in which blocked the entrance from making it easier. Now, she saw the stairs. Walking in the dark, part of the basement on an upward slope, she climbed and opened the latch. Thankfully, it had crumbled before putting in any strength and she saw even more crates in the hall of it. She checked through each one, seeing the exact things she has always seen which was gunpowder, weapons that had rusted, and more clothes which she had questioned. What the hell was with outfits in this old crew?
She walked along the hall before reaching a bent metal door. Curiosity filling, she grabbed the knob, sliding her shoulder against it, she pushed hard. It didn't bulge.
She pushed it again and it opened, making her stumble a bit before coughing at the moldy smell that reeked. She opened her watery eyes and saw that it was, in fact, the office - she saw that there were some crates as well. There was a desk, against the back of the wall due to the gravity and slope of the ship. Broken pictures, chairs, and shelves were everywhere, even old documents with books. She pulled a spare cloth she had used from her previous marine shirt and tied it over the bottom half of her face like a mask. She went and searched checking the crates and noticed there were only two patches against the desk. She opened one and was shocked to see what she had found.
It was a fedora. A big one really. She pulled it out and saw that there was nothing else in there as well. Weird.
What was even weirder is that the hat was still in good condition despite being in a ship that could have been stranded for more than five years or ten. It felt soft in her hand and it was a nice dark purple which she liked.
"Looks like I have a thing going on now." She whispered. She put it back inside the crate, taking her hair out and letting it be in a low ponytail so then the hat could fit on her head with no problems. She then went to the other crate and opened it up. Layed in red, perfect silk was -
"...Shit."
