I am still pulling through this one.

Light flickered, ash to ash - it reflected in her eyes. The night sky was now in motion and she was back on the beach with a fire on. Sitting in a fetal position, her chin tucked under towards her chest, she was too busy thinking.
Thinking about the two objects nicely packed in hidden sight in her little boat. She tightened her hold around her knees.
So busy in thought, she didn't notice the tiny man and his little friends surrounding her fire starting to get concerned. They may have not spoken even though they had many chances, being the only beings on the island. She was a very strong women whom they come to notice. But she was very quiet and reserved. Gaimon, couldn't really bring himself to talk even though his renowned years of being part of a couragous pirate crew, his skills were lacking to her strong 'Piss Off' aura that was there everytime he saw her. But now, it was quite different from what he later observed.
The night was quiet and only the light flickered, ash to ash.
"...what would you do if you found something that wasn't supposed to be there?"
He didn't say anything. He peered at her face and only saw little emotion shown on her face. He turned back to the fire.
"What do you mean, Little Lady?"
She stayed quiet.
"I found something, on this island that I have never been on, that is not even supposed to be on this very earth."
He looked at her again in confusion. "What do you mean 'not supposed to be on earth?'"
She shook her head and sighed in her knees. She looked at the fire again in thought. Why was she NOW starting to open to a complete stranger that she knew nothing about? It was a hard judgement that was being conducted inside her mind of whether or not to continue with the awkward conversation really. She checked the fish that was cooking over the little wooden staff she had made. She than plucked it off, hesitating. She gave out another sigh. She moved a bit closer to the tiny man, the tiny man than getting a bit scared until he was being offered a fish. She kept pestering him to take it and he reluctantly took it.
"Wow, whats with the sudden change of heart, little lady? Thought yah didn't like strangers like me."
"And I still don't."
She than started to feel the animal friends rub against as they all yipped in happiness, they were finally being fed something they haven't eaten since their leader was a man who could no longer swim but float. Sitting back she was before, the little animals slowly started to get close to her, warming her up from the cold tempature. A lamb that had also had bat wings, carefully layed on her lap and she softly smiled. Now, it was starting to feel a bit better living on the island. One thing had popped in her mind before continuing the silence.
"I have a favor to ask of you..."
What she she saw wasn't partically expected through all the things. It was a normal day in the jungle, she was preparing her food and even snagging more fish for the animals inhabited until she heard the legendary god himself through the trees. There must be people.
This was a chance, to finally get back into her routine for the past 14 years - there was no stopping her.
She carefully made her way to her homemade home/beach area and had saw that there was a ship stationed not far. She quickly went to her boat and checked for her supplies, the box was still sitting there, perfectly. Waiting for her to open it. She put the cloth back on top and got her woven bag filled with her stuff.
Now to check what her, maybe, crewmates are like.
Leaving her station, she moved closer to the area of where she heard the commotion and positioned herself on top of a tree branch. Hawking closer, she could see that there were at least three people in front of the vulnerable tiny bush man. Two boys and a girl. Familiar.
The triad looked like they were not a day over 20. Children... Why are these kids travelling?
They were moving now. Must be towards the cliff.
She took off towards the direction, climibing down and aligning with the bushes. They were now on the edge of a cliff conversating while another boy came and sat down with them. Familiar. She than perched herself right behind them in a good distance listening in to their conversation.
"...just because I'm a thief, doesn't mean I don't have heart!", the girl flushed out.
"It's my treasure, remember that!"
"Of course. It's your treasure."
She felt a sweat behind her neck as she saw the boy from her view. What conviction he has. It made her feel even more curious as to what this crew had but she stopped herself. The whole point was to get off the island and that was all.
Still conversating, she could feel a tug on her mind, as if it was trying to drill her that she should know, she should remember something, but she couldn't really feel the need to hold onto it once as the previous boy was now pointing a sword in her direction. Well, looks like her entrance was going to be coming sooner or later. Smoothing down her long sleeved shirt and black shorts - she also made sure her hair had to scream, 'desperate/innocent', she had to make sure this was going to work.
"Come out now or I'll make you!". the green haired boy snarled.
Slowly standing, visibly shaking out of fear. She came out of the bushes in timid steps, trying to not cry from being caught.
"I-I'm sorry... but please! Do not harm my Father!"
"FATHER!?"
"Little lady, I told you to only come out when I said so!"
"But Father! How could I just sit back in the bushes without doing anything!"
"And what if these people were actually lying? I can't let you out!"
The crew saw the family bicker with worries and it was a funny sight for them to see. Even though the appearances did really confuse them. They saw a tall girl, instead of a tiny lady come out of the bushes with dirt on her face and her curly hair tied in a pony tail that - she was wearing baggy, ragged clothes.
"YOU GUYS DON'T EVEN LOOK LIKE EACH OTHER!", the long nosed boy called out, pointing at the family. The rest nodded.
She wobbled her way to her 'father' and quickly stood behind him and croached, tearing up at the sight of the crew mates which made them sweat.
"Father, did they hurt you? What are they doing here!? Don't tell me... their after your treasure!". She croaked from behind, trying to hide herself even more. She than moved, poking her face out of his bush of hair, "Get off the island! Only Father and I are supposed to live here!" She poked her tongue out at the crew whole felt again, the sweat of her being unreasonanly immature.
"Didn't you say you were stuck here for 20 years Gaimon? How the hell could you have a daughter during that time?", The orange girl remarked, puting her hand on her hip.
"Ah, well you see, this little lady actually got stranded here as well... I sort of raised her here with the animals ever since.", He made a small chuckle, as if remembering the fatherly memoirs. "She was only a small tyke, but she is also my teasure as well - WHAT THE HELL AM I SAYING?"
Wow... this guy can act even though it's been just him. The women thought.
"Wow...I never pictured you as a father type of person but alright. Why don't we introduce ourselves since ZORO wants to scare the poor girl!" The orange girl pointed out with her arms crossed. Zoro, flabbergasted, waved his swords in the air with anger with a vein popping out.
"What the hell do you mean, women! Sorry for even being concerned for our crew, idiot!" He yelled.
"My name is Nami! And don't even bother associating me with these morons, I'm just tagging along with them for now." She than nudged Zoro to introduce himself, despite just insulting him. He glared at her, put his swords back into his shelts and sighed. He sat down from before, putting his arms behind his head.
"The name is Zoro...zzzzzZZZZZ".
Yeah, she felt very respected there. She was now sitting next her father, sitting cross-legged and her arms hold her chin up. Despite her effort of acting like a innocent teenage girl, her mind kept tugging. What was her mind trying to her tell her?
"The name is Usopp! The true captain of this pirate ship who has over 100 men!"
Liar. "Wow! That is so cool!"
"He's lying, he's actually the weakest here."
"SHUT UP NAMI!"
She averted her eyes from the arguing duo and instead stared at the last of them and could feel a very compelling aura. It was like she knew this boy and she knew from the start the he was the true leader. It was weird too because she felt as if she knew who the crew member were as well. Their names were prominent in her mind, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, even though she knew for a fact that it was her first time meeting them. Shaking away the thoughts, she waited for the last member.
"Shishishishi! I'm Monkey D. Luffy! I am going to be Pirate King!"
Her eyes only widened from a fraction before a second before bringing her biggest smile up to play.
"Nice to meet you! My name is Sela!"
Sela could feel it, the eyes from the green haired boy at the back. That meant her act just needed to be taken up a notch.
After the whole sitaution of moving to find where the treasure was, she stayed beside Gaimon in the duration of the time. Even though she had offered to carry him, he insisted to use one of the giant animals to carry him along, same with the others. She was still a bit weary of the crew, even though her innocent act was contradicting her thoughts when she was already aquantied by the energetic Captain of the strawhats. She felt as if she was aspiring to act like him with her dainty acts of laughter.
Sela could hear the words of Aunt Malia, scolding her to one end of the room to the other, Ladies must not laugh. Never. There is only a time and place to do that
At this very moment, laughing and pretending to play along - she could agree to a certain extent to what Aunt Malia taught, even though out loud she wouldn't/couldn't admit it.
Walking to the very cliff that Gaimon had shown her weeks ago, she stared upward at it's peak. Even though she was pefectly capable of checking herself what was up there, she never cared or was that curious to see. Now, maybe it was a bit interesting to start with.
"So, it's up there?" Luffy asked.
"Yep, it's all up there. Yes, the time has finally come! It's a great day. Get to it, strawhat!"
Sela actually wanted to see what Luffy could do, even though it was longs way up, the climbing would have tak-
"GUM-GUM ROCKET!"
Sela literally shierked as she saw the boys arm stretch all the way to the top, and then pummeling his way there as he slinged his entire body. Now that was a huge suprise. Tiapolo fua. Devil fruit.
"Man! I don't even want to know how he got those powers! What were they called again, father? Monster fruit, what?" Sela asked. In her head it felt like it was monotone.
"It's a devil fruit - gives you powers but curses you so that you can never swim in the sea. Awesome right?" Nami had answered.
"Aw, that sounds sad..." Her posh accent was nearly going to make her throw up.
Everyone looked back up to the mountain, waiting for the expected news. Sela had glanced down at Gaimon, seeing him tremble with excitement, he than called out to Luffy, "Hey! Did you see the treasure?"
He did not reply. Sela could the atmosphere start to get a bit tense and uncomfortable. Glancing up again, she saw his silloette pop up from the edge, there he was holding a chest. Oh, there was treasure.
"I found them! Six of them are here!"
"Oh boy, oh boy! Well come out strawhat, we don't have all day. That treasure is mine! Hurry up and throw it down here so I can see it for myself."
"No."
"NO!?"
Wow, okay. Now that was suprising again. Sticking to her character. She clenched her fists, clenching her teeth, she spat out. "What do you mean no? That treasure is my fathers - and I will not let you pirates take it away from him!"
"It's alright, tiny lady. Don't worry about your poor old dad."
Sela bit her lip in guilt and pity as she glanced down to the fall. Okay, her feelings was a bit true. She knew that. From the start when she first saw it, the possibility of it was dim. Very dim. Nami and Usopp didn't catch the drift as they were still protesting against their sudden change of their captain's attitude.
"Luffy...your a good guy! For all these years, I knew. Even though I ignored it... deep down I knew that they were empty!"
Gaimon started to cry as he felt the reality crush on him. It was truely a sad sight to see for Sela because of the time she had spent with the guy. Still, looking up at Luffy, she had felt a new renowned respect fill a little for the captain.
"Well, you sure are lucky that we came here now because than by 30 years or so, you would've died without knowing. Instead of thinking of this as a big failure, why don't you just join us instead? Become a pirate again, Gaimon!"
"R-really?"
"Of course!"
Gaimon started to cry a bit harder after the invitation which made Sela chuckle - she felt that the kid had a way of words which she agreed with. She than realised, oh yeah, she's his daughter. Now that will look a bit suspicious.
"I am sorry Father... for not telling you sooner. I was weak to tell you because of your bright hope and determination to protect the treasure. I just thought that maybe, thinking that it was still there meant all that time you were protecting was at least worth it. At least, these people came - now you can finally move on, right?"
Sela knelt down and wiped her fathers tears with the back of her hand. Yeah, she can't fake the respect she had for this man here as well.
After the whole emotional, identity lost and returned part. It was dawn and the goodbyes were nearly coming up. She stood with Gaimon on the beach as the crew was now settling onto their ship.
"Before you go strawhats, I have a request for you." Gaimon asked.
"Even though we had just met and you have done a lot for me..."
"...Is it possible that you can take Sela with you?"
Sela gasped, preparing her lines. She knelt against her father, grabbing the edge of his box, made him turn to him with 'tears', she yelled, "What do you mean! I want to stay here! With you and the others, I'm fine where I am. I'm fine with you, Father!". Oh, make her stop! The posh accent she had going on was cutting through her ears like glass breaking. She could see the side of Gaimon's mouth twitch at her horrendous, fake wanting to stay. It nearly made her corpse out of it.
"Yes, I know. But it isn't enough. You must go with the strawhats and find a better place to live!"
"But - Father! I don't know them. They obviously don't know me. And why would they even allow me to come with them?"
"Yeah, it's fine." Luffy confirmed. "STOP SAYING YES TO EVERYTHING!", The others yelled.
Sela grimaced. Staring at her fath- Gaimon, now. In all honesty. She smiled like it was a true goodbye, and she dipped her head towards his crusty cheek with a kiss. She went back and looked at him again, she sent her graditude and smirked secretly as she moved closer with a hug - even though the box of his body was a bit uncomfortable to bear.
"Thank you for everything. I left some fish at your station for you and the others. Fa Soifua." She whispered in her normal accent. She squeezed his tiny body again and let him go.
After getting all her stuff, she went back to the ship and climbed on even, making sure to trip here and there, than getting help from Usopp. She still had a character thing going on. The wind started to pick up, she looked around the ship in wonder, finallising her thoughts of it. She made audible 'woahs', 'ah~!'s and 'yo's - she didn't really care.
Letting all go again, she turned back to the direction of her once again, another home she had made herself and felt like she now back on to work. Carefully, she waved both her arms in the air - saying goodbye to the little group she stayed with. Sela was now on the move again, she can finally relax, she can finally go onto her journey again with no limitations. She can finally - yes. She can look at those objects she had found.
Looking onto the ship itself, she knew it was going to be easy to get off once they find another island. Right?
It's going to be easy from now on...right?
Right.
Okay, Sela. Yep that's her name. She is still a bit mysterious and now she has finally met the crew and has made it off the island with easier circumstances. WOW - YAY - HURRAY
Let's just give a round of an applause to Gaimon?! I mean, that guy can sure act! Well - yeah I wanted him to be cool - BECAUSE HE IS!
