AN: Hey guys, it's me again! Just thought I ought to say, if you want vague updates and to talk to me more, I have a writing Tumblr, too! Twitter is Sunshinecackle, and Tumblr is Writteninsunshine! I also have a writing Discord that is currently pretty dead. xD If you want it, please contact me on Twitter!

So, this is another drabble challenge, and the prompt really hit me for Pete, since he ends up coming off as callous during a fight. He picks at what he knows will hurt the most and doesn't care until after the fact when he is no longer mad. Stan and Reagan are the best at disarming him quickly, as fighting him only prolongs his Righteous Anger, which is why he and Michael don't do the best together.

I write Pete as having untreated BPD. Due to the lack of treatment, he is not handling it well, and I mean none of this as an attack on people with it. This is from my personal experiences with people who have had untreated BPD. I don't believe people with BPD are bad.

Oh, Sweetness, I Was Only Joking

"You really think that that's wise?" Pete asked snidely, raising an eyebrow and one side of his upper lip, "Look at you, fucking moronic. If you can't do it sober what makes you think you can do it piss-ass drunk?"

Stan's face fell, and he dropped the bumper with tears in his eyes. Shit. Shitshitshit. Pete didn't mean to come off like that, he didn't want to make Stan cry.

"Wait, wait, no, c'mere dearest, I didn't mean-" But it was too late for Pete to fix this, Stan was out of the garage before he could finish. Bigmouth strikes again.

AN: I like the little drabbles I have been doing, they are really helpful to keep me going. This one really spoke to me, and I had to do it with Pete and Stan. If anyone wants me to do a follow-up/continue it, please let me know!

Prompt: Something You Don't Mean
