CHAPTER 2: DEPARTURE

Jadan and Joey's parents Xavier and Claire brought the gang to the airport. Claire Montana, Andrew, and Zac were with them to see them off, as well. After gathering their belongings, it was time to say their goodbyes.

"Well thanks for having us, Uncle Xavier and Aunt Claire," said Krissy. "I talked to mom before we left and she wanted me to tell you that she would like it if all of you would come to visit us in America."

"We will, Kris," said Xavier.

"So long, dear," added Claire, who hugged her niece.

Jadan, Joey, Zac, Andrew, and Claire M. were also saying their goodbyes to the gang. Jadan said to Claudia, "It was good seein' ya again, cuz. Maybe I'll come visit you next time."

"I would l-like that, Jade," said Claudia, who hugged her cousin.

"Tell Kayla I said 'hi' as well," Jadan added.

"Will d-do."

Jadan and Joey walked over to the rest of the gang. "It was good meetin' all of ya, as well. Claudia has some good friends."

"We appreciate it, Jadan," said Charlie Brown. "And thanks for being a great host while we were here."

"No problem, Charles," said Jadan, who hugged him. "Frieda's a lucky gal t' have you."

"Thanks, Jadan," said Frieda. "He's one in a million. And Andrew is a great guy, as well."

"Thank you, Frieda." And both girls hugged.

Zac and Peppermint Patty were also saying their goodbyes. Zac said, "I guess this is it, kangaroo. Good luck with Franco."

"Thank you, Zac," said a tearful Patty. "And I hope you and Claire will be happy, as well."

"Thanks, Patty." And the two of them hugged. Marcie walked up.

"Well so long, Zac," said Marcie. "In spite of what happened, you really are a good guy."

"Thanks, Marcie," said Zac.

"Nice meeting you, man," said Franklin, shaking his hand.

"You too, mate," Zac replied.

After all the goodbyes were said, the gang headed for their gate to head back to America. Snoopy and Gracie had First Class, yet again, to the bewilderment of both Charlie Brown and Claudia.

"Claud, how in the world are our dogs able to get First Class, and we have to ride coach?" asked Charlie Brown.

"Y-You got me, Charles," shrugged Claudia. Linus walked up.

"Well, they're your dogs, Charlie Brown and Claudia," he replied.

"Good grief!" sighed Charlie Brown. And the kids soon boarded the plane and they were on their way back to America. They couldn't wait to tell the rest of the gang about Australia and the adventure they all had.
