Optimus now brought the pen to Ratchet, who should examine the pen more closely. A large energon radiation emanated from this pen. And that worried Optimus, especially since he had seen Miracle draw with it. She had been so quick and absent-minded about it. Ratchet inserted the pen into a machine that X-rayed it. And with that, they found the cause.
"The pen's refill is a sliver of the AllSpark," Ratchet finally said.
"I thought as much... do you think it's possible that this pen can also affect the human brain?" Optimus asked.
"It would be possible. But of course the brain in question would also have to be examined for this."
"Could that also be possible in the form of future visions?"
"Everything is possible. After all, the AllSpark was a secret for us too. But like I said, without investigation..." Ratchet didn't get to finish his sentence. Because Optimus had already picked up the pen and hurried out of the room.
He rushed back to Bumblebee's quarters because that's where he last saw Miracle. But she wasn't there, and neither was Bumblebee. With a little concern, he went on in search of the two. After all, Optimus still had Miracle's drawing from the morning in mind and feared Starscream's attack at any moment. He finally found the two sitting next to each other in the canteen. Miracle took a hearty bite of a sandwich while Bumblebee devoured a cup of Energon.
Optimus walked over to give Miracle her pen back. He overheard something of the conversation the two were having:
"What are you drinking anyway?" Miracle asked.
"This is energon. It replenishes our energy," Bumblebee said.
"Oh, and I thought you guys charged up from oversized outlets," Miracle said. The entire table erupted in roars of laughter. An orange Autobot even spit out his energon so far that the people sitting opposite him had to take cover.
"Why are you laughing? What's so funny about that?" Miracle said now a bit upset.
"Nothing..." said Bumblebee, gasping with laughter, "It's just always amusing how you humans see us."
When the table had calmed down a bit, Optimus joined them and put the pen on the table next to Miracle.
"Oh thank you. But that was quick." Miracle said.
"I know you're uncomfortable without your drawing supplies, so I hurried." Optimus said.
"How do you know?"
"Well, you always carry them around with you. That says it all, doesn't it?"
"You're right," Miracle said.
"Then you can finally draw me!" Bumblebee said happily.
"Take it easy, Bumblebee. Let her finish eating first." Optimus said.
Miracle smiled at the leader of the Autobots. She already felt so comfortable among these extraterrestrial robots, as if she had always been here. As if the memories of her sad past were just a bad dream. After she finished her sandwich, she slammed both hands on the table and stood up: "Okay, let's get to work then!"
Bumblebee jumped up cheering, nearly causing an earthquake. The scout led Miracle out of the canteen. It wasn't really necessary for Bumblebee to pose as Miracle had such a photoristic memory that she could easily have drawn the yellow Autobot from memory. But the Autobot insisted, and Miracle knew the distraction would do the autobot good. So she went with it without telling Bumblebee about her photoristic memory. Bumblebee led Miracle straight to the hangar, where there were still a few vehicles that were also Autobots. They had been on "night shift" and were now resting from their nocturnal mission.
"What do you think, what background should we choose?" Bumblebee asked while walking around the hangar with Miracle.
Miracle looked around a little helplessly. Here in the hangar, the walls were all clad in silver metal.
"We could go outside, too." Bumblebee said.
But Miracle, who was immediately reminded of her dream, shouted almost in panic: "NO!"
Bumblebee looked at her in amazement. Why was she suddenly so upset?
Miracle cleared her throat in embarrassment because she had realized that she had become too loud: "Sorry, but that's not necessary. Incidentally, I much prefer to just draw the characters and not the backgrounds anyway."
Bumblebee shrugged and tried to pose really cool. Miracle found this more funny than serious and so she had to give him instructions on how to stand. After all, even Sam shouldn't laugh at the picture when his Autobot posed like Hercules. So while she was busy drawing, disaster was coming closer the hangar in the form of a fighter jet. Miracle was almost done when an explosion rocked the hangar. Miracle jumped up and looked around anxiously.
"What was that?" she asked.
"Don't worry, I'll check." Bumblebee said and left the hangar.
"No, Bumblebee, don't!" Miracle called after him. She threw her binder on the ground and rushed after the yellow robot. She knew this was her vision coming true. Miracle and Bumblebee hadn't been far from the exit, so it wasn't surprising that they were the first to get out. Up in the sky, Miracle saw the fighter jet from her dream.
"This is Starscream!" Bumblebee shouted, "You stay in the building!"
He pushed Miracle back into the building and sealed the exit.
"No! Bumblebee!" Miracle exclaimed, banging on the door desperately, but she didn't let up.
Meanwhile, Starscream fired volleys at the yellow Autobot.Miracle didn't want to stand by and looked around for other Autobots. Then Optimus appeared in the hallway.
"Optimus!" Miracle called out to him.
"Miracle, what's going on?" he asked.
"Bumblebee... He's out there..." she said.
"WHAT?!"
Optimus immediately broke open the door and saw Starscream firing mercilessly at the yellow Autobot. He then transformed into robot mode and crashed from the sky at full speed onto the prone Bumblebee. "Bumblebee!" Miracle exclaimed, startled. She feared now that the vision could no longer change. But then Optimus threw himself into the fight. He also suddenly had wings on his back and had flown towards Starscream. They had collided in mid-air and were now wrestling with each other. The two twirled and twirled in mid-air. Miracle felt like she was getting sick just watching. Eventually, the two hit the ground. They rolled back and forth on the ground, delivering powerful blows that rattled the metal they were made of. Miracle rushed over to Bumblebee to check on him. He had some holes in the armor. Miracle looked worried at the two fighting: "If only I knew what I could do..."
"The wings..." Bumblebee said quietly.
"What?"
"Every...seeker's weak point...are their wings..."
Miracle didn't understand the word Seeker, but she guessed that Starscream was meant. Miracle rushed back to the hangar and grabbed a cannon from there. It was quite heavy, but she couldn't find anything else with a quick search. Meanwhile, the other Autobots had also gathered at the scene and aimed their gigantic cannons at the two wrestling fighters. However, they dared not fire for fear of injuring Optimus. Miracle pushed forward between all the Autobots. She saw Bumblebee being taken away by two Autobots and breathed a sigh of relief. Then her attention returned to the two combatants. Starscream had managed to pin Optimus on his back. He now unfolded a cannon above his shoulder and was about to fire it at Optimus. Miracle now saw her only option to act. As the two remained silent for a moment, Miracle aimed the cannon at Starscream's right wing. She heard the Autobots calling behind her, "Are you insane?! You will hurt Optimus!"
But Miracle ignored it. She pulled the trigger and fired. The projectile flew towards Starscream's wing with a bright blue trail and buried itself in him. The seeker bucked in pain. Optimus saw this as his chance. He smacked Starscream, who had washed up. The Seeker somersaulted through the air before hitting the ground.
Starscream sneered, "What a shame the last Prime must be protected of small, weak humans..."
Hearing this, Miracle growled angrily.
"You'll see what you get from it." Starscream said. Then he fled. He couldn't fly with the projectile in his wing, so he ran away on foot. And Optimus, who had aimed the cannon at him, now lowered it.
