After assembling as many allies as they could and plotting a strategy, the team is now ready to take on Cipher at their desert labatory.
Michael, Wes, Rui, Rand, Takumi, Nokia, Arata, Fei, Date, Keisuke, Ryuji, Erika, Red Eyes, Blue Eyes, Sven, Wendy, Lovrina, and Naps stood on top of a hill overlooking a shady looking metal structure in the middle of the dessert. "There's the entrance." Wes said. "Good. The electric fence is still down."
"There's an electric fence?" Michael asked.
"It short circuited a long time ago and we never got to fixing it." Lovrina replied. "Anyway, try not to take too long in there."
"Believe me, the sooner we can leave this place the happier I'll be." Naps replied. "Though I guess I shouldn't complain considering Wendy's part in this."
The Ranger sighed. Her arms were bound in rope. "This has to be the most humiliating assignment I've ever been on. But I guess it needs to be done. Take care of my guy for me Sven."
"Don't worry, your Staraptor is in good hands."
Takumi put on his googles. "This is Takumi. We're in eyesight of the lab."
In the ONBS building, Ami was working with Yuuko, Kyoko, Secc, Bitt, and Nett. "Roger that bro. We're all set on this end."
In the HQ Lab, Yuugo, Chitose, Yu, and Rythmi were at separate computers. "We're ready over here as well." The Operator replied.
"Good." Rand, and Sven posed. "Mission On!" Wendy was a little tied up to do her pose, but she at least joined the shout.
"Alright. Beginning stage one." Takumi said.
Naps nodded and put a hand on Wendy's shoulder and moved her in front of him. They started walking down the hill. "Be careful you two." Keisuke said.
As Naps and Wendy approached the base the door opened. Six Cipher members came rushing out, each in a different color. Red. Blue. Brown. Yellow. Purple. Green. Naps groaned in his head. "Ugh…why them?"
They stood in an orderly line. "We are sextuplets! We are! We are! We strike terror throughout the land! We are the Hexagon Brothers!" They all stood facing the left. Then the red one faced forward. "Sound off!"
The blue one faced forward. "One!"
The brown one turned. "Two!"
Then the yellow one. "Three!"
Then the purple one. "Four!"
And finally, the green one. "Five!"
There was a moment of silence before the red one spoke up. "Five? That's not right!"
"Why does this keep happening?!" the yellow one asked. "I'm positive this time we're not missing someone!"
"Let me try it this time!" the Green one said. He faced forward. "Count off!"
The purple one turned. "One!"
Then the yellow one. "Two!"
Then the brown one. "Three!"
Then the blue one. "Four!"
And finally, the red one. "Five! It happened again! Are we sure nobody is missing?"
As Naps sighed in exasperation, Wendy squinted at them. "Yup. Starting to think I just found the Dim Sun of Orre."
"Gentlemen, not to interrupt…"
They all faced Naps and saluted. "Ah, sir! Apologies! I see you brought us another Ranger!" the red one said.
"Yes, I'm bringing her in to Lady Venus."
"Of course, of course." The yellow one nodded. "Wow, how many Rangers does this make?"
"Uh, let's see…" The brown one started counting on his fingers. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight!"
"Wow! Eight? Really?!" the green one asked.
"So, you guys can count, you just can't keep track of yourselves effectively." Naps muttered.
The Blue one turned back to him. "Hmm? Sorry, did you say something sir?"
"Nothing. Anyway, I'd like to report to Lady Venus right away. I left my troops back in Kalos, but I don't want to make them wait longer than necessary."
"Roger!" the purple one said. They split up into two groups of three clearing the way to the door. The red one pressed a button opening it.
"Thank you." Naps put a hand on Wendy's back. "Alright Ranger, get moving!"
Wendy faked an aggravated huff as she obediently marched in front of him. Once they were inside the red one pushed the button again closing it.
Once the elevator inside reached it's destination Wendy stepped out first and Naps followed. Two Cipher members who were talking in the hall hurried over. "Who goes there?!"
"I captured another Ranger." Naps said. "I'm bringing her to lady Venus."
"Ah, commander!" one of them saluted. "Understood sir! You go right ahead! She's in her usual room."
Naps was slightly frightened as he in fact had no idea which room was the "usual" one. "Right…er, can you two accompany me? She put up quite a fight and I don't want to risk her getting loose."
"Of course, sir. We won't let her get away." One went at each side of Wendy. "Alright, get moving Ranger!"
"Alright, alright! You don't need to yell or push!" Wendy grumbled.
From atop the hill Takumi had his googles on and was using a zoom function to watch. "Alright, they took the bait."
"Forget the bait, what's with those clowns?" Nokia asked. "I mean the colors are kinda cool, but they're acting kinda weird."
"That would be the Hexagon Brothers." Lovrina sighed. "And they are weird. They are one the most elite teams in Cipher, but their quirkiness makes it hard even for us to take them seriously."
"I'm starting to see how a kid beat Cipher last time." Arata muttered.
"They're still standing guard." Sven said. "Looks like we'll need to get through them to get inside."
"Leave that to me." Michael said.
"You, Rui, Lovrina, Red Eyes, Blue Eyes and I will do it together." Wes said. "The sooner they're out of the way, the better."
"You want to split up the teams further?" Takumi asked. "But how will you catch up to us once we-
"We'll figure it out, four of us have been here before, remember?"
"Let's hope the rest of those goons in there are as stupid as those pentagon brothers." Nokia said. "Then this plan should go swimmingly."
"Hexagon." Everyone corrected her all at once.
"Tomato, tamato!"
Wendy lost track of all the turns and halls she was marched through before being brought upstairs where a woman with a white and pink dress with a crescent moon decoration behind her head was standing. "Lady Venus." One of the peons saluted. "The commander has returned with another Ranger."
The woman turned around. "Oh? You'd think after they lost seven Rangers, the Union would be smart enough to stop poking around Kalos." She turned to Naps. "Well done commander."
"Thank you, lady Venus."
"By the way, we lost contact with you a while back."
"Er, sorry, my PDA was damaged in a scuffle with wild Pokemon and the others couldn't reach Orre communications."
"I take it that's why you came here yourself this time?"
"Yes, I wanted to get it repaired or replaced before heading back to Kalos."
"I see. No matter." Venus walked over to Wendy and put her fingers on the Ranger's chin. "Just you alone little lady? You went by yourself after a team of five failed?"
"I don't need to answer that." Wendy glared.
Venus laughs and squished Wendy's cheeks with her hand. "My, aren't you cheeky. So, commander, how many Pokemon did you bring back along with her?"
"Uh, zero, her Partner Pokemon kinda…got away." Naps replied. "But I do have the Ranger's Styler though."
"What? Oh, for crying out loud, the point of capturing Rangers is to obtain Pokemon that have bonded with humans!"
"Yes…" Naps said. "Ordinary Pokemon won't do for our plans."
"That's right. Only a Pokemon that has bonded with a human is compatible to use the Dark Bond on."
"Dark Bond?" Wendy asked. "What's that?"
"Oh, don't worry about a thing dear, if your Partner Pokemon escaped us then this really has nothing to do with you. Why don't you two take her to join her friends in their cell."
"Roger!" the peons saluted.
"As for you commander, go drop off her Styler at the research center, have them fix you PDA and return to Kalos immediately."
"Yes Ma'am. Just one more thing if you don't mind." Naps said.
"Make it quick."
"Out of sheer curiosity, has our leader mentioned anything about who the Malevolent Fist is yet?"
The woman sighed and shrugged. "I tried asking myself, but he insisted only he needs to know."
"I see…"
"But enough of that, you all have work to do. Chop, chop!"
"Yes, lady Venus!" the three replied. Naps went back down the stairs first and the Peons turned Wendy around before they followed.
Naps waited for them at the bottom of the stairs. "Why don't I take her to the holding cell with you."
"Sir? But Lady Venus told you to head for the research center and return to Kalos immediately."
"I know, but I'm a bit worried about you two. That Ranger is tough even without her Pokemon and Styler. I don't want her escaping."
"With all due respect sir, how hard can this be. She's just a tied-up girl!"
Wendy gave that Cipher Peon a hard kick in the gut making him stumble to the ground. "A tied-up girl who can still kick the stuffing out of you jerk!" she smirked.
"See?! This is what I'm talking about!" Naps said. "It took ten of us just to restrain her! Four or five of them were beaten so bad they cried!"
"Urf…point taken." The kicked grunt wheezed. "Alright, sir, we'd appreciate your help escorting her…"
"Of course." Naps went behind Wendy. "Now get moving Ranger! Or do I need to uh…pull on…your ear you again?"
Wendy squinted at Naps with a look that screamed "seriously?" before faking horror. "No, no, no! I'll be a good girl! I swear!"
"Yeah, that's what I though! Now march!"
Inside their cell, Ben, Summer, Kate, Keith, Kellyn, Solana and Lunick still with their hands and feet cuffed together sat on the floor. Nobody had anything left to say.
"Alright, get in there!" Suddenly, the door opened, and Wendy was shoved inside.
Summer gasped. "Wendy! Not you too!"
"I'm sorry everyone." Wendy sighed.
The two Peons stepped inside, and each took out metal cuffs. "We'll secure the prisoner sir."
"Yes, you do that…" Naps said as he reached into his pocket and backed into a corner of the cell. One of the peons clamped cuffs on Wendy's ankles binding them together before they removed the rope restraining her arms behind her back. The other set of electronic clamps were put on the ones restraining her ankles before she was forced to sit down, and her wrists were locked into them putting her in that awkward position her fellow Rangers sat in with her hands next to her feet. As they did that Naps stuck something to the wall and pressed a button on it.
Wendy waited as the three left and closed the door. "Is everyone okay? They didn't hurt you, did they?"
"No, we're fine. More or less." Kate said. "What about you? Did the Professor really just send you alone?!"
"Not exactly." Wendy grunted as she tried to pull her hands away from her feet. "Wow, this position is really uncomfortable. Were you guys left like this the whole time? Your backs must be really stiff…Still, a bit better than being tied a smidgeon on the tight side. A bit anyway."
"As someone who's been in both situations; I can confirm that's true." Summer sighed.
"Small world, me too." Keith murmured.
"Same here." Ben, Kellyn, and Kate huffed.
"Seriously, this is just ridiculous! I don't recall "getting tied up a smidgeon on the tight side" being in the Ranger obligations!" Summer grumbled.
Wendy giggled. "Aw it's not so bad Summer, look on the bright side! You're getting plenty of time with Ben!"
Both Top Rangers blushed. "Oh, great another cellmate to poke fun at us." Ben grumbled.
"You're taking this awfully calmly Wendy." Kellyn muttered.
Wendy smirked and glanced at the tracking beacon on the wall. "Let's just say I don't see us staying here much longer."
Naps opened another automatic door and stepped into a dark blue room full of computers and other machinery. "This place hasn't changed much. Ugh. Just looking at this stuff brings back bad memories." He spotted two scientists. "Hey, you two!"
Both of them turned to him. "Yes? What is it?"
"Lady Venus wants a progress report from you both!"
"Right away!" Both of them hurried out.
Naps waited for the door to close. "Huh. Guess Venus doesn't like being kept waiting. Not unlike someone else who used to run this place…" He took the disc Ryuji gave him out of his pocket and went over to a computer. "Alright, he said just to insert it." He took the disc out of the case and put it in a slot. The screen flashed blue. "That did it." He took out his PDA.
Back outside Lovrina read a message through her PDA. "Naps is done. The locator and the program are in place. He's going to try to keep a low profile until he meets with us."
Takumi put on his goggles. "Rythmi, Kyoko, the pieces are in place."
"Roger that." Rythmi said.
"We'll start our hack." Kyoko added. "You're clear to engage."
"Let's do this." Michael started sliding down the hill.
Pichu jumped onto Takumi's shoulder. Staraptor hovered next to Rand. "Don't worry you two." Takumi said. "We're getting Ben and Summer back. And then Cipher will answer to us."
Back in the ONBS Building, Nett, Bitt, and Secc were at Nett's desk. "Okay, I think I got into security cameras. Should I cut the video feed?" Nett asked.
"If there's somebody monitoring the feed that will immediately alert them." Kyoko replied. She, Ami, and Yuuko sat on chairs in the other end of the room working with their Digivices.
"Well, we need to do something." Secc replied. "If someone is watching the cameras, they'll know the moment Wes and the others step inside. If we cut the footage, at least they won't be able to track what they're doing. Unless anyone else has a better idea."
"I do!" Ami said.
"We'll let's hear it quick." Bitt said. "Wes and the others are on their way."
"Would it be possible to alter the video feed, so it plays yesterday's footage on their end?"
Yuuko smiled. "I see. They wouldn't suspect anything if it looked like another boring day."
"I think I can do that." Nett replied as he started working.
"Ha! You're pretty smart Ami!" Secc grinned.
Kyoko smiled. "That's why she's my assistant."
The Hexagon brothers were formed in a circle. "Sound off!" Resix, the red one said as he glanced at the blue one named Blusix.
Blusix glanced at the brown one named Browsix. "One!"
Browsix looked at Yellosix, the yellow one as he shouted "Two!"
"Three!" Yellosix looked at the purple one named Purplsix.
"Four!" Purplsix called as he looked at the green one, Greesix.
"Five!" Greesix said as he looked at Resix.
"Six!" Resix looked at Blusix again.
"Seven!" Blusix looked at Browsix again.
"Eight! …Wait. Eight? Now's there're too many of us!"
"Hmm! Brothers, beware! There may be spies among us!" Resix said.
Browsix turned around. "Hey, look. It's that kid again!"
Michael slowly approached. "Hexagon Brothers, I'm here to shut down this lab once and for all."
"Ha! I think not! Ever since our last defeat to you, we've put ourselves though vigorous training!" Yellosix said. "And this lab is more guarded than ever before! You don't stand a chance alone this time!"
"Who said he was alone?" One by one Wes, Rui, Lovrina, Red Eyes, and Blue Eyes approached.
Takumi and the others who approached the lab from the left and right carefully snuck towards the door. "As soon as they start battling, make for the door." Sven whispered. "I'm sure they'll find us when they're done. Rand, you got the beacon Naps set?"
Rand looked at his Styler. "Nothing. The signal must not reach here. Maybe once we're inside…"
"W-wait, is that Lovrina?!" Browsix asked. "I heard rumors about her working for the enemy, but I didn't dare believe it true!"
"Well believe it. I'm done with Cipher." Lovrina replied.
"You cannot be serious!" Blusix shouted. "What about all the research you did for us?!"
"That research was foolery! Shadow Pokemon should never be created! I helped Cipher thinking it made Pokemon stronger! But I was wrong!"
"Lady Lovrina, I beg you to reconsider!" Resix said. "What would your brother think?!"
"My brother was the one who talked me into joining Professor Krane. And well…" she glanced at Michael. "The kid here grows on you after a while."
"I think that's enough talk." Red Eyes said cracking his knuckles. "Let's get to the good part."
"I suppose there's no other way." Resix said. "We'll show you the amazing power that is the Hexagon Brothers!"
"So, who wants who?" Michael asked.
"Dibs on the red one." Red Eyes grinned.
"I'll take blue then." Blue Eyes said.
"Saw that coming." Rui giggled. "Okay, I'll fight the green guy."
"Then I got yellow." Wes said.
"I'll take Purplsix." Lovrina said.
"Then that leaves me with him." Michael said looking at Browsix.
"So be it." Redsix said.
The six brothers backed away from each other. Michael and co did the same. Both sides on the separate ends, but enough distance was put between combatants. A ere wind blew by as each Trainer reached for two Pokeballs and Red Eyes and Blue Eyes took out their Megavices. "Let's battle!"
Red Eyes pointed his Controlvice forward. "Blaziken, Gotsumon, appear!"
Resix threw two Pokeballs. "Magcargo! Camerupt! Prepare for battle!"
Blue Eyes moved next. "Blastoise! Betamon! Emerge!"
Blusix threw two Pokeballs. "Kingdra! Seaking! Get em!"
Rui sent out her Pokemon. "Artuia! Togekiss! Time to take flight!"
Greesix threw two Pokeballs. "Let's go, Berloom and Cacturne!"
Wes threw two Pokeballs. "Here we go! Hariyama! Typlosion!"
Yellosix sent his Pokemon. "Lanturn! Manectric! Knock em silly!"
Lovrina twirled as she threw two Pokeballs. "Roserade! Gardivior! Let's do this with style!"
Purplsix sent his two out. "Wheezing! Golbat! Let's go!"
Michael threw his Pokeballs. "Go, Lapras! Pidgeot!"
Browsix sent his Pokemon. "Noctowl! Slaking! It's time to fight!"
As many Pokemon and two Digimon emerged, Sven darted for the door and pressed the button to open it. That's when Resix took notice. "Huh?! There were more of them!"
"Oh, don't mind us, you guys have fun!" Arata waved as they all rushed inside.
"Good luck guys, find us when you're done!" Rand said before following.
"Stop!" Blusix yelled. "No outsiders allowed in the lab!" All of the Hexagon Brothers were about to dart after them.
"Oh, my, the battle hasn't even started and they're already running away." Blue Eyes joked.
"How sad." Wes smirked. "Cipher's standards sure have dropped if their best troops turn their backs on their opponents so easily."
"Yeah, what's Venus going to say when she finds out you ran away from a fight?" Rui grinned.
The six brothers stopped. "Us? Run away from you?!" Resix turned back around. "Brothers, forget the intruders! The others in the lab will punish them! Let's show them what happens when you make fun of the Hexagon Brothers!"
"Yeah! We'll make them show us the respect we deserve!" Greesix declared.
Red Eyes smirked as he and Blue Eyes burst with aura. "We'll see about that."
DIGIVOLUTION
Takumi sighed as he Keisuke, Nokia and Rand stumbled out of the small elevator. "What is with Orre and all these cramped little elevators!?" Nokia growled.
"Shh!" Takumi put a finger to his lip. "Keep your voice down! Remember, it's important that we keep this stealthy. The longer we can go without anyone knowing we're here, the better."
Three Cipher Peons who were passing by the halls spotted them. "What the-Intruders!"
Keisuke put on his Digivice. "That was about thirty-five seconds of not being noticed, is that long enough for you?"
Takumi sighed. "That was shorter than I wanted, but longer than I suspected."
One of the Peons threw two Pokeballs. "Foongus! Kabuto!"
Another threw two more. "Meditite! Deino!"
The last one sent out his Pokemon. "Silicobra! Dunsparce!"
Takumi, Keisuke, and Nokia held out their Digivices and Rand aimed his Styler. "Terriermon!"
"Agumon! Gabumon!"
"Tenteomon!"
"Falcomon!"
Five Rookie Digimon appeared. "Take them out, quickly!" Takumi said.
"Terrier Tornado!" Terriemron spun in place and sent a cyclone into Meditite.
Takumi looked at the Pokemon accompanying him. "Pichu, mind giving us a hand?"
"Pi!" Pichu took out his Ukulele and hurried over to help Terriemron.
"Silicobra! Dunsparce, attack!" One of the Peon's Pokemon both charged at Falcomon.
"Ninja Blade!" Falcomon threw shuriken at the Pokemon making them flinch. He then rammed his beak into the Silicobra and Staraptor used Close Combat on the Dunsparce.
"Deino, use Dragon Breath!" One of the Peons' Pokemon shot blue flames at Agumon who rolled away.
"Show him how it's really done Gabumon!" Nokia said.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shot a jet of blue fire that the Deino matched with it's own. The flames collied until Gabumon's pushed through and hit the Dragon Pokemon.
"Pepper Breath!" Agumon spat a fireball at the Foongus, knocking it out.
"Poison Ivy!" Palmon instantly knocked out the Water/Rock Type.
"What's with these talking Pokemon?!" one of the Peon's shouted. "They're too strong!"
"Just keep fighting! Go, Cubchoo!"
"Honedge! Use Slash!" One of the Pokemon charged at Tentomon the moment it was sent out while he was pushing back Durant with Super Shocker.
"Sticky Net!" Just then the elevator opened, and a blob of web flew out of it. It stuck to Honedge and pinned it to a wall.
Erika, Ryuji, and Arata ran out of the elevator next. "Keramon!" Arata yelled.
"Monodramon!" Ryuji held out his Digivice as his and Arata's Digimon appeared.
"Crazy Giggle!" Keremon shot a black blast that finished off Honedge.
"M-more of them?! Cubchoo, quick! Icy Wind!"
Cubchoo spewed cold wind from it's mouth at Keremon but Terriermon and Pichu threw Meditite in front of it, freezing it with Cubchoo's attack. Monodramon charged at Cubchoo. "Knuckle Breaker!" He punched it so hard it flew into Deino, knocking both out.
"W-who are these guys?!" One of the Peons shuddered.
"We need to get out of here! Call the others!" One of them turned around only for Ryuji to pull him by the scarf. He elbowed him in the gut and hammed his fist into the back of the head, knocking him out. Takumi rushed another, pulled off his helmet and slammed his face into his knee before punching him out cold. Rand tackled the other to the ground when he tried to flee and punched him in the back of the head.
Just then the elevator opened one more time and Date, Fei, and Sven entered. Date looked at the unconscious peons. "Argh! We missed the fun part, didn't we?"
Sven sighed. "Subtlety isn't your strong suit, is it?"
"It was bad luck; they ran into us!" Nokia said.
Rand checked his Styler. "Well, the good news is, I'm picking up that beacon now." He pointed to the path on the right. "It's that way."
"Wait, which way is the lab?" Tentomon asked.
"Lovrina knows the way, doesn't she?" Keisuke asked. "Lovrina?"
Erika squinted at him. "Keisuke."
"Oh, right. Probably should have brought her…"
"Let's hope Kyoko's figured something out." Takumi put on his goggles and the lenses projected a screen with Kyoko in front of everyone. "Kyoko, it's me. We're inside the lab and Rand has a lock on Ben's location. But we don't know where the computer room or Venus are. Lovrina is stuck outside with Red Eyes, Blue Eyes, Michael, Wes, and Rui dealing with Ciphers guards outside the lab. Any ideas?"
"Not to worry Watson. Thanks to the backdoor program, we were able to hack into the schematics for the lab. Yuuko will walk you through reaching the captive Rangers. Rythmi will do the same to help Arata's team find the computer. Naps will meet them on the way. Though we don't know where Venus is. Makiko, your team will have to improvise."
"Not going to be a problem." Date cracked her knuckles.
"Good. I'll let Yuuko take it from here. The rest of us will continue our efforts to hack into the systems."
"Any chance you can shut down any security cameras here?" Rand asked. "We kinda got spotted by some of Ciphers and we don't want the whole lab to know we're here."
"Already taken care of. We've replaced the video feed with footage from yesterday."
"Now that's using your noggin." Sven grinned. "Well done detective."
"Well, actually it was Ami's idea."
Rand smirked. "Heh. Your little assistants are growing up fast. Takumi here took out a member of Cipher with his bare fists."
Date grinned and whispered to Nokia. "I change my mind; you know how to pick em!"
"I sure do!"
Kyoko laughed. "My assistants are growing up alright. But enough chitchat, we better get to work. I'm switching over to Yuuko."
Yuuko took over the call. "Takumi, where did you say the locator was?"
"To the right according to Rand."
"It's also pointing deeper down." Rand said. "I think it's on a lower floor."
"Okay. Start heading right from your position. I'll try to guide you to the nearest elevator. I'll ask Ami and Nett to try to unlock any obstacles on the way. But there's no telling how many enemies are in that lab. Be careful."
"Got it." Takumi nodded. "Good luck you guys."
"Same to you." Erika replied as Takumi ran off with Nokia and Rand.
Rythmi's voice came from Ryuji's Digivice. "Rythmi here. Yu's showing me the schematics for the lab. I'll try to guide you through the fastest rout to the computer. Start heading left."
"On our way." Ryuji said.
"Wormmon, we better fuse now so we're ready for a fight." Erika said.
"Got it!" Wormmon hobbled over and Erika picked him up. In a bright flash they merged into Hudiemon. She looked at Ryuji and Arata and the three nodded before heading off.
Fei, Sven and Date looked at the remaining path in front of them. "I guess there's only one other route." Fei said. "Might as well take that."
"Right. I'll take point." Date said.
Fei scoffed and started moving. "As if. I'll lead, come on."
"Hey, don't boss me around you brat!" Date growled as she hurried after her.
Sven sighed. "I'm starting to wish Wendy won the coin toss."
Back outside the lab the battle against the Hexagon Brothers raged on. "Blaziken, High Jump Kick!" Red Eye's Pokemon kicked Magcargo so hard it flew. When it impacted to the ground it was knocked out.
Resix shuddered. "Ah…so strong…in that case, Camerupt! Use Eruption!"
Red Eyes looked up as Camerupt's back shot scorching lava. "Oh, that's just precious."
PileVolcamon and Blaziken deflected the lava with their hands. "Let me show you how it's done!" PileVolcamon shot a meteor from his back, jumped up, and caught it. "Volcanic Driver!" He slammed it into Camerupt from above, knocking it out.
"What is that thing?! How is it so strong?!" Resix gulped.
Red Eyes looked around. "Guess I'm the first one done. Blue Eyes, you wrapped things up yet?"
"Almost."
Blastoise threw Blusixs' Metagross into Seaking, knocking the smaller Pokemon out. "River of Power!" MetalSeadramon finished the Metagross with one last furious attack.
Blusix fell over. "I can't believe it…"
Greesix was down to his Forrtress and Lombre. Altaria was glowing. "This isn't good…Lombre, hit that Altaria, before it finishes charging up!"
"Togekiss, Air Slash!" Rui's Fairy/Flying Type shot a blade of wind at the Lombre that knocked it down. "Altaria, unleash the Sky Attack!" Her Dragon/Fairy Type rammed into Forrtress with alarming force, knocking it out.
"How is this girl so tough?!"
Wes pointed at Magneton, Yellosix's last Pokemon. "Typlosion, Flamethrower!" His Fire/Type shot fire at it, knocking it backwards. "Hariyama, Close Combat!" His Fighting Type ruthlessly clobbered it with an onslaught of punches.
Yellosix fell to his knees. "W-who are you…?"
On Michael's end, Pidgeot circled around Slacking distracting it. "Now! Hydro Pump!" Then his Lapras blasted it with high-pressure water. "And that's game!"
"What is it with this kid?!" Browsix growled.
"Nice one kid." Wes smiled. "The training's paid off."
"I owe it to you guys." Michael replied. "That just leaves Lovrina."
Meanwhile, Purplsix's Tentacruel dodged a Psychic attack from Lovrina's Gardevior before ensnaring it with it's tentacles. "Gotchya!" Purplsix grinned. "The Psychic Type is the biggest threat to my team! Best to put it out of commission first!"
"Reserade, free Gardevior!" Lovrina said. Roserade dashed towards Tentacruel.
"Did you forget about my other Pokemon? Get em Muk!" Purplsix's other Pokemon pounced at Roserade and the Grass/Poison Type yelped as it was pulled in to Muk's oozy body, flailing it's legs wildly as it's arms were enveloped in the sticky mass. "Ha! Now I got both of them!"
Lovrina winked at Gardevoir. "Oh, really?"
Gardevoir nodded and stared at Muk with glowing eyes. When Muk was hit with another Psychic, knocking it out in one hit, allowing Roserade to slip out of it's hold. "What?! How!?"
"Use your head." Lovrina said. "That's all Psychic Types really need to attack!" Roserade then charged at Tentacruel again only for it to extend more tentacles and bind it. It lifted Reserade and Gardevoir up in the air. "Gardevoir, Psychic!"
"Oh, no you don't! Tentecrul, blind it!"
Just as Gardevoir's eyes glowed, Tentecruel spat purple gunk that stuck to the top half of Gardevoir's face, covering her eyes. It then slammed the two Pokemon together and started bashing them into the ground and each other repeatedly.
"She needs our help!" Rui said.
Michael stopped her. "Don't worry, Lovrina's tougher than you think."
Tentacrul lifted the tied up Garevoir and Reserade high above it. "And now for the finishing blow!" Purplsix gloated.
Lovrina looked at her Reserade. Even with it's arms tied together behind it's back its rose hands were pointing straight down towards Tentecruel. "Roserade! Magical Leaf!" Her Pokemon shot colorful leaves from it's flowers straight down, bombarding Tentacruel. It dropped Lovrina's Pokemon. "Now, Petal Dance!" Roserade spun around gracefully, summoning pink, razor petals that finished off Tentacruel.
Purplsix gulped. "Dang it!"
Michael smiled. "You still got it Lovrina."
"Darn right I do!"
"And that makes six." Wes said.
"Curses! How could we be so thoroughly crushed?!" Resix growled.
"Give me a break." Red Eyes sighed. "Did you really think we'd lose to a group of idiots like you?"
"Idiots?! How dare you!" Purplsix yelled. "We are the most organized, most powerful, most elite team Cipher has to offer!"
"Then how come you guys can't do a proper roll call?"
"I'll have you know we can!" Resix objected. "Sound off!"
"One!" Blusix said.
"Two!" Greesix said.
"Three!" Yellosix shouted.
"Four!" Purplsix shouted.
"Five!" Browsix yelled. "Wait, five? That's not right, let's try again! Sound off!"
"One!" Purplsix announced.
"Two!" Yellosix shouted.
Red Eyes nudged Wes. "Come on, let's go. Go, go, go, go, go!" He started pushing people towards the entrance of the lab.
"Smooth Red Eyes." Blue Eyes chuckled. The Hexagon Brothers didn't even seem to notice when Wes open the door and they all ran inside.
Michael stopped them once they went inside. "Wait, there should be…ah, ha!" He hurried to a yellow machine. "We should heal up out Pokemon here!" He put the Pokeballs in the machine and it played a tune as it healed his Pokemon. "There."
Wes walked up to it next. "Michael head into the elevator and wait for us, we'll meet up with you once we heal our Pokemon."
"Okay." Michael put his Pokemon on his belt and hurried off.
"Heaven's Judgment!"
"Mach Stinger V!" TigerVespamon and Kerpymon knocked out a Pyroar, a Gulduck, a Castform and a Palossand.
"W-wait! Let's talk this ou- A Peon sweep kicked by Fei and kicked in the head on his way down. Date punched the lights out of another.
"Luxray, Discharge!" Sven's Pokemon zapped a Carracosta, and a Cormorant unconscious. Then Wendy's Staraptor rammed into their Trainer. "Well, suffice say, we ain't learning where their boss is from them anytime soon."
"Quit you're worrying, we'll find her eventually." Date said.
"Well, if nothing else we'll create a diversion for the others." Fei said.
"Agreed." Sven nodded. "Rescuing Wendy and the others come first."
"Then let's make some more noise!" Date said. "Onward!"
Wes checked Cipher Peon Takumi knocked out earlier to confirm he was breathing. "Well, your friends sure know how to make themselves at home."
Red Eyes smirked. "It's their style."
Blue Eyes' Megavice ringed and she took it out. "Blue Eyes, this is Yuugo, can you hear me?"
"Loud and clear."
"We're trying to access the lab's archives, but it's password protected."
"Can't you hack your way in?"
"I'd love to." Chitose said. "But the security for this system's pretty top notch. I've never seen anything like this before."
Lovrina walked over to Blue Eyes. "Try my old password, I should have the security clearance."
"What's the password?" Yuugo asked.
"It's "Gale of Darkness". Caps on the gale and darkness and include spaces."
"Gale of Darkness?" Michael asked.
"It's the original code name I wanted to give XD001. But my old boss wanted it to be something with a number since he wanted to make more Shadow Pokemon like it later down the line."
Yu's voice sighed from Blue Eye's Megavice. "No dice."
"What?! How?!"
"They must have removed you're access code from the system when you left Cipher." Yuugo replied. "Even if Arata and the others reach the computer I don't know how they're going to access it."
"I got an idea!" MetalSeadramon said from inside Blue Eye's Megavice. "We Digimon can easily slip though password protected areas! And since we're still data, you can install us into the computer itself and we can get you into the archives!"
"Great idea." Blue Eyes grinned.
"Wow, you guys are full of surprises." Lovrina smirked.
"Okay, that's what we'll do." Rythmi said. "I'll tell Arata and the others, I'm guiding them towards the computer room now."
"Michael, Rand got a lock on the tracking beacon and is on the move with his portion of the team." Bitt said. "Start going east and look for the closest elevator."
"I'm on it." Michael said as he hurried off.
"Wes, Rui, Red Eyes, head north. Date, Fei, and Sven seem to have decided to just tear the lab apart until they find Venus." Secc said. "My advice: Follow the trail of unconscious Cipher goons."
"How conspicuous of them." Wes said rolling his eyes. Rui and Red Eyes followed him out.
"Lovrina, the computer room is-
"Don't worry, I used to work here remember? They may have booted me out of the systems but it's not like they remodeled the place. Blue Eyes, follow me!"
"Right."
"I still can't believe Takumi and the others came back." Ben said.
"Believe it." Wendy nodded. "They'll be here soon, and we can get out of here."
"Heh. Looks like I owe them yet again…So Red Eyes and Blue Eyes are natives of Orre? Didn't see that coming."
"I'm so glad Staraptor and Pichu are safe." Summer said.
"You said Plusle and Minun…" Solana murmured.
"I'm sure they'll be alright. Once Arata and the others finds out what Cipher did to them we can cure it."
Kate looked down. "But this means Starly, Pachirisu and Buizel were also…"
Nobody knew what to say. Just then Wendy heard footsteps coming towards their cell. "Ah! I think our saviors have shown up. About time, I was starting to get a cramp in this position."
"Imagine being stuck in here for a couple of weeks Wendy." Summer chuckled. The door to their cell opened.
