After the pageant, the pageant girls and Alfred are leaving the auditorium. Alfred is holding a golden trophy with "Pageant King" written on the bottom.
"You were amazing, Alfred!" Roxanne complimented.
"Thanks. I didn't think I'd do very well. I mean, I've been practicing for only a week."
"Yet you've managed to do fantastic," said Jane.
"You've even won first place!" adds Isabelle.
"Yeah," Alfred turns his attention to Roxanne, "and I wouldn't have done it without you and my family."
Roxanne blushes at her boyfriend's compliment.
Just then, Alfred and the pageant girls are stopped by the same teenage boys that teased Alfred for wearing a dress a week earlier.
"Well, well, well. Look who decided to show his face again," said one teen.
"You'd think you've embarrassed yourself for wearing that girly dress a week ago," adds another teen.
"But nope! You're a glutton for embarrassment!" The third teen exclaims before he and his friends laugh at Alfred.
"Hey! Leave him alone!" Lola demands.
"Or you'll regret the moment you mocked my Alfie!" Roxanne threatened.
"Aw! Looks like the girly man has his girly friends to protect him," the teen resumes his mockery.
"What are you gonna do? Invite us to a tea party?" The second teen told the girls before they laughed even more.
Lola and Roxanne look at each other before nodding in agreement. They face their attention back to the teens and, to the teens' shock and horror, the girls karate kick them across the street and into a garbage bin. Lola and Roxanne run the dirt off their hands before giving each other a fist bump.
"Wow." Alfred is impressed. "You ladies sure have been acing your karate classes."
"What can we say?" Lola says.
"We love karate," Roxanne adds.
The girls and Alfred laugh as they resume walking. As they stroll, Alfred has a question in mind.
"Roxanne?"
"Yes, Alfred?"
"I've been wondering. Are you fine with me being like this?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, one of the reasons you've dated me is because I was a gentleman. But now I'm more of a gentlewoman, and I'm worried that this might affect our relationship."
"Oh Alfie, of course it wouldn't! In fact," Roxanne, to Alfred's surprise, gives him a kiss on the check, "I find it manly that you're brave enough to be yourself."
Alfred blushes from the kiss and compliment. As they walk by a garbage bin, it suddenly opens, and Lana and Hops pop their heads out.
"Hey. If Alfred's happy, then I'm happy!" She tells the readers before she and her frog resume searching inside the garbage bin.
THE END
