The Chort wound up, giving The Cheat an evil smile. But his stroke didn't ever come down.

Out of nowhere, a familiar green blur slammed into The Chort! It was That Gorblin! He had realized that The Cheat was in trouble, and florng himself headlong into The Chort!

Both That Gorblin and The Chort tormled into tha bushes.

I knew That Gorblin wouldn't be able to hold off The Chort very long. He was only buying us some time, and we needed every second.

"Strong Sad! I'll grab The Cheat's clorbs! You've gotta revorve him before The Chort gets back!"

"You got it Coach," said Strong Sad, in a frightened but determined voice. "I won't let you guys down!"

I spronted over to get The Cheat's clorbs. I remembered the last time we tried to face orf with The Chort. Strong Mad, Strong Bad, and everyone else who attacked The Chort were beaten with ease. Our only chance was The Cheat.

I reached tha clorbs, which had flown outta The Cheat's paws when the gator flipped, a little after Strong Sad got to The Cheat. As I turned, I saw that The Cheat was just barely coming around. But The Chort was back.

In the blornk of an eye, a blue blur had shot into the sky. The Chort rocketed upwards, until grarvity caught up with him, and he began to come back to Earth, golf clorb first, heading straight for The Cheat. Strong Sad dropped his clorb and just stared up at The Chort, who was careening down towards them.

The Chort was going for The Cheat again, and this time there wasn't any chance to help him. Even though he was coming around, he still wasn't able to move much, and couldn't see the danger coming from above.

The blue streak was barely twenty feet above the ground when he started to swing his deadly, double-ended clorb. I was too far away to get to them and Strong Sad was no help. The Cheat was done for.

"Noooooo!" cried Strong Sad, and instead of cowering in fear, he jumped in between The Cheat and The Chort's clorb, standing over The Cheat's limp body.

The swish of metal cutting through air was followed by a heavy thud. I had clorsed my eyes, but upon reopening them, I couldn't believe my eyes. The Chort's blow had connected with Strong Sad's head, but he was still standing! The jet propelled The Chort had then bounced right orf of Strong Sad's belly and into the forest! A bunch of trees had fallen over from the impact of The Chort colliding with them.

"Holy crap! Strong Sad, where did that come from? That was amazing!" I yelled as I rushed over to them, clorbs in hand.

"Well, The Cheat was defenseless. I know what it's like to be beat up when you're defenseless, believe me. I guess getting huge weights dropped on my head and being pummeled in the face for all those years got me used to massive cranial trauma."

"Well, whatever it was, that was great! It reminds me of a great sports play..."

"Coach, I don't think we have time for that. We've got to revive The Cheat before The Chort gets here!"

Strong Sad was right. In the distance, an infuriated "MEH!" resonated through the woods. The Chort was still out there. He was on his way back, and our protector was still in no shape to fight.

"Strong Sad," I looked into his white face. "Make sure that The Cheat gets better. Carry him somewhere safe. Maybe the concession stand, just keep him safe. I'll buy you some time."

"But Coach, you can't take on The Chort by yourself! I can't leave you all alone like this!" Tears were forming in Strong Sad's eyes.

"I have to do this, Strong Sad. I'm the adult here. You guys can make it out of here. I'll hold him orf as long as I can, then The Cheat can take it from there." I turned away, staring orf into the dark forest. "No more arguing. I'm leaving now. You made me proud, Strong Sad. You all did. You guys were everything an old Coach could have asked for."

And with that, I grabbed my putter and a flashlight, and started to walk inta tha woods, as Strong Sad carried The Cheat and his clorbs to Jackson.
