S.E. means Silent Era.
Its the Era just after the War of the Astrals where they are in slumber. I looked into the timeline and found the only A.E. and M.E. were mentioned and decided that a period before the nations took to one calendar dating this was the Era before Modern.

These last three years have been fruitful. This land is marvelous and rich being who is worshipped that gives this land such wonders of life. The Wilds of this land is respected in a profound way that I have not seen in any other lands. Predators do roam so I did have to hire a few arms to come with me in my touring. Could I see myself fighting a creature, no…I would most certainly die and become quite the feast for them. Though, it is a wonder in seeing this respect during my time traveling. I have seen the way the wilds bring fear to other lands, but here, the cycle of nature is not feared but embraced.
The herds that are kept for meat production are at times culled of those shown to be getting old or would be chosen for genetics not viable to continue to be produced. It was in the first town I stopped at after getting through One Way Valley that I had seen this way of life. This town, Argenzon, was taking at least five cows out of the herd and further into the Wilds. Seeing this I was curious to what they planned to do with them and had asked one of my hired arms, Vardin Stort. In order to maintain a healthy stock in the herd those deemed unfit to remain are taken out into the Wilds and set free. It is a rather cruel thing, I think, to do knowing these cows would not last for long having been raised by people. To the Stelluxians, it is the way of life as it feeds the predators that would have taken those, culled out of the herd, anyways if in the Wilds. In a way, they have found a give and take resolution as they would use less resourced in keeping those unfit animals.
I should also state that while they do not fear the Wilds, they do give it a consideration, as that the Guild of Alpha Helix is where those men were apart of when I hired them. It is only because of this Guild that many can hire them if in need of traveling protection between towns. I gained a good friend in Vardin during that time along with Ometa Cast. She is a woman of brawny stature standing taller than most men I have seen and when I first saw her, I was rather scared of her. Since traveling with this woman, I have come to quite like her rowdy nature that is so unusually seen in most women. Being in this profession they both share a decent amount of scars that hold stories I have found at times rather funny.
Ometa told me one day of how she earned this really deep and jagged scar on the lower part of her left leg. She had gotten it after setting a trap in her early years of training with her father. Her and another being trained had begun to fool around, not is a sexual nature but of friends being stupid together and found themselves forgetting the traps surrounding the area. It wasn't until several playful shoves happened that landed Ometa stepping into her own set trap. Of course she waved it off as nothing when retelling it, but we knew at her age, it was an experience she would not forget.
During my tour I also came to realize that each town held one of the Six in a way of honor. Crowpoint being more of a point of docking for ships and trade didn't have much other than memorials for Leviathan being the sea goddess and in the center of town a stonework of a group of feathers in honor of the Seraphim. Enter into Argenzon, you find Ramuh. Dimont has Titan. Silentvale is for Shiva. Come into the City of Custos you see the honoring of Ifrit and Phoenix. It is here I must mention that Bahamut in not honored here. For reason, I have not yet uncovered other than he is that of a curse word spoken by the Stelluxians.
Of the Six main Astrals, many would think Bahamut is the one raised high in regards. Yet, I see more of honoring Ifrit and Phoenix, even after the War of the Astrals. What happened that brought such animosity to a highly regarded figure of other lands? That is what I tend to find out having come to greet with the High Priestess Avor. She is a regal woman with reddish/violet hair and sharp amber eyes. Very interesting colors to a very intriguing woman of power.
While we have Kings and an Emperor, Stelluxians have a High Priestess as a governing body. Now I must note that while priest(ess) are those of a religion, they hold a different meaning in Stella Lux. High Priest(ess) would be like that to a King/Queen while those of the children would be called a Priest(ess) and not of a devotee of religion. It is a strange notion that one gets use to after three years.
Back to Avor, she was the eldest of nine children. Just thinking of what Avor's mother went through with so many children to look after is amazing she remain sane having once met her. She had taken to position after her father stepped down five years ago and is a very devoted woman to her nation. As I am an Outsider one would think I would never get time to speak with such a woman, but it came as a surprise when I was granted time to be near her. Meeting with her was strange yet appealing. The aura, or feeling, she gave off was a warmth. Very calming in that has reminded me of a nice fire near a fireplace while enjoying that of a book. I later found it was not just her that give this warming aura but many in her family exudes this.
To her meeting with Outsiders is an opportunity one should not miss out. As it gives another outlook of the Astrals to which we honor. To the Stelluxians, Ifrit had a right to do as he did to Solheim and why they remain loyal to the God. What that was is something I would never have thought humankind could do to an Astral. It gives reason to Ifrit's rage of war with Solheim a deeper meaning. It is what led to the Stelluxians to dishonor Bahamut for not letting Ifrit do as he pleased to the Solheim people.
My thought to this was what would have happened if Bahamut didn't stop Ifrit in his rage? Would the Astral turned his wrath to the Stelluxians? Even with the great respects they have the Infernien?
