Dan sighed as he walked through the broken ruins of the city. There was a weariness in his steps as he looked at the destroyed buildings, ruined homes, and the dead people he knew lied within. It was times like this he wished he was faster, better, or able to do more. He wished being a being of light would give him the ability to see problems before they come. Then maybe he might be able to stop attacks like this one from happening.

He gave a solemn shake of his head and sat down on what remind of a park bench and listened to a newscast from a radio. Once again, the heads began to spout useless news and opinions like they meant something. Like they weren't doing it just to scare people and make money, or like they just didn't care.

"Why are you doing this? This world is finished Dan," Sgt. Woods said, before leaving the japanese man beind.

Maybe, maybe the american is right." Dan thought to himself, musing over the broken buildings. For the past month, he had been fighting no less than three monsters and each time it seemed like no one was ready to look forward to the future. He kept hearing about how people were still scared, using the monster attacks as reasons to hide away and stay home. How his arrival was nothing more than protents for the end times

And why? Didn't they know he was there and he would protect them? Shouldn't they see him as a savior bringing them a new world? Why did they still treat him like a villain or a monster.

Another sigh escaped Dan's lips as he muttered a curse under his mouth and he held up his hand to the sun. For a moment he thought he should forget his mission and head home. Leave these humans to their fate and-

He paused in his thoughts to a sound, and took off. After running past more destroyed buildings, he found a small four leaf clover standing in the rubble of a collapsed building. He knelt down and looked at the miracle in front of him and smiled. Seeing it reminded him of how well life can survive even in the bleak times of hell and black fire. Though, he wondered if he should look a little closer.

A monster's roar stopped him from approaching and he turned to face the slowly approaching beast. It's head resembled a crocodile's while it's belly glowed bright orange, highlighting the many tentacles with teeth that sprawled from it. A giant garden of vines and teeth struck out from where the monster stood and roared before it began to charge up a blast.

Dan looked back at the flower and nodded, pulling out a pair of red glasses. Slowling walking to the monster, he put the glasses onto his face and began to change. His head and shoulders were covered in metal and silver, his eyes glowling yellow as he stepped closer. Growing larger, his body was soon covers in a bright red suit of armor.

The monster ignored the presence of the Ultra that now stood, and she fired a shot of acid at him. Without missing a beat, Ultraseven picked up a piece of debris and blocked the acid, protecting the little flower. Seven then looked at the beast and frowned.

With a roar, the monster spoke in her own way to Ultraseven, "Out of my way. Kill!"

"I'm not leaving this spot," Seven said, standing his ground and getting into a fighting one of the tentacles with teeth flying out towards him he held up his forearm to block it and let it bite him.

"Daddy, will I get better?"

"Daddy, this is wrong, I don't wanna experiment."

"Stop it daddy..."

"What?" asked Seven o himself as he chopped the tentacle, first breaking the neck and then cuttting it off. With a small grunt,he pulls the head off his forearm and threw it to the ground. He spared himself a second to watch the acid sizzle and bubble on his wound, exposing muscle and sinew. Turning his head forward, he watched as two more heads flew out to attack him.

A twinge of pain shot through his leg as a sharpened vine popped through the ground and impale his shin. Taking a knee, he chopped the vine off and ripped it out of his leg to impale one of the heads of the monster. The other head managed to latch itself onto Seven's shoulder, biting deep into his red armor.

"Please Daddy, stop. I don't wanna fight anymore."

"Please, make it stop. I hate killing."

"Please sir...stop me."

"You're a child, being forced o do this," Seven said, looking down as he grabbed the head and ripped it off his shoulder before breaking it. Shaking his head, he grabbed the metal blade in his helmet and throw it at Bollante. Glowing blue, the blade began to cut and slice tentacle off after tentacle.

Using the strength in his good leg, Seven pushed hismelf into the air to take flight and fire a beam from his head lamp into each of Billoante's eyes. Blinded, the creature roared in pain and opened her maw wide, opening itself for Seven to get up close.

Placing his right arm into the mouth of the beast, he held it open whiled using his left hand to slide down and forming a cross. Summoning every bit of his power, he fired a beam of bright light into the monster's mouth, going through her throat, and into he stomach. This caused her body to glow, shine, and then explode in a column of light.

Seven pulled away, panting and wincing from the pain in his body. Turning around, he walked back to the little clover and knelt down to pull away the debris. Looking to the source of the sound, he reached for it. The sound he heard was of a new mother, holding her infant son hin her arms. Opening a silver palm, Ultraseven offered it to the woman trapped, "Thank you...Silver Angel."

Seven nodded as he took her into his palm and flew to a hospital. He couldn't help but think of what a clover meant to the humans. Luck, fortune, and hope. Maybe that was why he was here, and maybe it was luck that he came her when he did to save the new life.

He then realized that it will take time to remind people things will get better. That things will be better, and the world can improve. IT just takes patiente and a littleluck.
