Koun was a happy gambler, the kind of man who always seemed to make it when the chips were down. When he made a bet, he won, and when it came to other activities, he always seemed to make it out at the last minute without a problem. Every day was like the luckiest day in his life and today in the windy city of Japan, he was going to make his fortune.

Smirking, he found a little poker table to sit at with five people around him. Looking around, he asked, "Who's dealing?"

The man in red looked back at the pink, blue, green, an white dressed people next to him, and nodded before leaving. A man dressed in black and wearing a hard boild hat walked up and smiled, tipping the hat over his eyes, "I am. Joker's wild and it's five card stud. I deal."

Koun smirked, "Heh, are you sure? I'm pretty lucky and well known around hee. Let's make the pot, say...2000 yen to start."

"10000," the man said as he shuffled his deck and then began to deal. After looking at his cards, he said, "Call and raise. Want to talk Koun?"

"Huh? Sure," Koun said, taking a card and putting one down before looking back, "What about."

"Your luck," the man in black said, looking with a serious glare. "Seems you are the luckiest man in this town. Always winning and always getting what he needs to survive."

Koun nodded with a smile as he called it and smiled, "Yep. That's me."

"Even when a murder is involved, right?" asked the man as he raised.

"W-what?" asked Koun, feeling his heart skip a beat.

The man in black called and then took a card. Looking at it, he smirked and said, "I mean, you get a partner, try to swindle him out of his money, try to black mail him, and then kill him for more money. Quite greedy, and it's lucky that you didn't leave a shred of evidence."

"Um, I don't know wat you mean, where are you getting these lies?" asked Koun, shuddering as he raised, not bothering to take a card.

"From a lot of sources. And it seems that you do this a lot. If you don't gamble, then you con, blackmail, and swindle," the man looked down as he called and then looked up, "But let me tell you how you were lucky."

Koun shuddered, feeling the sweat bead down his head, "How?"

"You were lucky enough that you didn't see your latest victim walk into a dective's office. The victim's seven year old girl, who had o be told why daddy wasn't coming home. You were lucky to not talk about death to a girl who didn't need to be told about it at that age," The man in black narrowed his eyes, "And you were lucky to not see that little girl offer fifty yen from her little piggy bank to find out why her father was killed and who did it."

"I-I-I," Koun whimpered, forgetting to take a card or raise.

"But, you were lucky enough to not be there when the detective found that one clue that everyone missed. That little detail that told him everything about you, and what you are. Oh, it was fun," The man saw his opponent shake in fear, and then revealed his hand, a full house, "Oh look, I win."

"You-"

The man in black then revealed his trump card, a black joker with a green hat, "Full house, Joker's wild." When he saw Koun reach for his pocket, te man said, "I wouldn't. There are fifteen cops out there ready to attack and one cheif who takes his role as father seriously. I suggest you stand down."

"No! I won't lose. My luck never runs out!" Koun shouted as he pulled out a small USB with an L on it. Clicking the switch, he smiled ass he heard the word luck shout befoe planting the item into his hand, transforming him into a monsterwith cards all over his body, "HA! Surprised?"

Shotaro Hidari stod up to his feet and pulled out an USB of his own, "No, not surprised." he hen clicked on it, "Let's go, Partner."

"Joker!"

"HENSHIN!" Shouted shotaro as he transformed into a being covered in green and dark purple armor. His compound eyes glowed as he said, "Now...count up your sins!"

"Koun was found guilty after being taken out. He was very unlucky he tried to attack in my town. What he didn't know that his luck wasn't something that was very useful to a haraaaaaaaa-"

Shotaro paused and looked up from his typewriter at the little baby who patted his keyboard, "Haruna? What did uncle Shotaro say about playing with his typewriter while he worked?"

"Bah!" said Haruna as she patted his nose.

"Ahkio, could you control your-OW!" Shotaro screamed in pain as he was hit by a shoe.

Ahiko frowned as she picked her litle one up, "My daughter doesn't need to be controlled. She can do what she wants. Right, Terui-Kun."

The man in red said nothing as he cooked dinner for his new family. Elsewhere, Phillip began to read on his new book, studying up on St. Patrick's day.
