"Well, here we are, guys" Nicla said to me and my family. "Welcome to the Southern Isles."

As the crew of the ship we sailed on and the fleet around us approached a big harbour, I couldn't believe what I saw ahead. I saw a tall, striking, beautiful castle in the distant straight ahead. Well, all I could really see was only the top half that was surrounded by lots of tall, striking green-leaved trees around them. Even just seeing the white-grey bricks, the tall, shiny windows and the red roof titles on the top half and the trees around them was a very beautiful sight. I never imagined the Southern Isles would ever be this beautiful. Not up to El Dorado's standards, but this kingdom was beautiful in its own way.

I watched the crew of my ship approach closer to the harbour and threw ropes to the crew on the docks who wrapped them around the dock posts. After my ship and the whole fleet were docked, I, my husband Tulio, my son Benito and our horse Altivo departed it along with Nicla and everyone else and then we followed them.

It wasn't long before we entered the town. It was quite a small town, but the houses were beautifully built and sturdy from the strong concrete base to the tall chimney on the roof. There were plenty of shops selling delicious food and tasty drinks, big logs, smart clothes, beautiful pottery, sharp garden tools and everything you would need in life.

Then we were greeted by lots of people. I thought the entire population of the Southern Isles had arrived to greet us. I still think to this day that they were cheering the safe return of Princess Nicla. They were cheering her so much it made me think that they must have hated Hans as much as I, my family and our friends did. And I bet that they were just as glad as we were that he was gone for good.

I looked at Nicla, who was shyly waving back to the people as they cheered her. Then I looked at my family. My son Benito was just as impressed with this place as I was. But my husband Tulio looked very depressed. But I knew it wasn't because of this gorgeous place. About three months ago, I, my family and a lot of our good friends learned that our best friend Miguel was the Mortal Son of a family of gods - they were ordinary human beings before they somehow managed to kill a god and took his powers and became gods themselves - and they needed their Mortal Son to become a god himself so they could become completely powerful and rule the world for all eternity. But we managed to save Miguel and the world from his family – they were no longer gods and were now dead. After that, we decided to go our separate ways. Miguel, my family and I decided to give the island that we found and lived for the last three years to Chief Moana and her people along as they didn't have a home themselves. Joining them were people from the lost city of Paititi with Patlee, my only remaining triplet brother, among them. My family and I decided to go and live on the Southern Isles with Princess Nicla while Miguel decided to go and live in Arendelle with some of our friends there, mainly because of his feelings for Queen Elsa. Even though both kingdoms were not very far away, Tulio was upset that he was no longer with the guy who was not only his best friend but also the closest thing he ever had to a brother.

Soon it was time for us to get ready for Nicola's coronation. While the male servants took Tulio and Benito get changed into smarter clothes, I joined Nicla in her private chambers where we got changed into our special dresses.

"How do I look?" I asked Nicla.

She looked at me and saw my sleeveless brown dress with brown shoes to match it. She smiled. "You look very beautiful, Chel."

"Thank you. So do you."

She was wearing a full sleeved purple dress. "Thank you. At least I'll look the part."

"Oh, don't worry, Nicla. You'll make a great queen."

"Do you reckon so?"

"I know so. And I know because I saw you make peace negotiations with Arendelle, New Motunui and Kumandra. If you can achieve that as a princess, imagine what you can achieve a queen."

Nicla smiled. "Thanks, Chel."

"And if you have any doubts, my family and I are always happy to give you some advice, even though we're not royal advisors. I don't know what's going to happen to us after we celebrate your coronation."

Then there was a knock on the door.

"Enter," Nicla ordered.

A servant came in. "It's time, Your Highness."

"Coming, Daniel," Nicla said.

Then we followed Daniel out of the room.

I was amazed at how vast and gorgeous the church looked as Nicla and I entered. There were plenty of people in it. When I found Tulio and Benito, in the aisle, I could only just squeeze in. Both of them wore smart jackets, smart trousers and smart boots. Then we all watched Nicla approach the altar where the Archbishop of the Southern Isles was standing. He gestured her to sit down on the golden chair.

The Archbishop started the ceremony with his speech about how lucky the Southern Isles was to have Nicla back and how this day was a blessing for everyone including the Christian God. I've never really believed in any god, not even the gods of El Dorado (and I'm not talking about Tulio and Miguel when they were being fake ones), but at least this ceremony was peaceful and quiet and no one would die at the end like the ones Tzekel-Kan would host.

"Nicla, do you swear to rule the Southern Isles fairly and justly and peacefully with God as your witness?" the Archbishop asked.

Nicla nervously gulped before she finally said, "I swear."

Then after anointing her with holy oil, the Archbishop took the crown from the dark blue cushion held by the nearest priest. "So, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I crown you queen." Then he placed it on her head. It fitted like a glove as I knew it would.

Then the Archbishop turned to face the crowd. "Arise for Queen Nicla of the Southern Isles."

We all stood up and so did Nicla. Then we all applauded her. We stopped when she politely lowered her hands down.

"Thank you all very much. As Queen of the Southern Isles, I promise I will rule the Southern Isles as fairly and wisely as I can. Now, before we go and celebrate, I have some very important duties I must sort out first. Tulio, Chel, Benito, come forth, please."

My family and I got up, approached the new queen and stood before her.

"My first act of Queen of the Southern Isles is to reward you for all of your services for helping me defeat evil and get me back home safely. For all three of you, after what you've achieved in helping me get back to home and saving the world from evil gods and monsters, I give you the second biggest palace to live."

The three of us were very grateful for that.

Then Nicla turned to Benito. "Benito, for your services, you shall be my schoolmate while I tend to my studies. You shall receive an education."

Benito bowed. "Thank you, Your Majesty."

Then Nicla turned to me. "Chel, for your services, you are now Chel, Duchess of the Southern Isles, and my Chief Advisor."

I bowed. "Thank you, Your Majesty."

Then Nicla turned to Tulio. "Tulio, for your services, you are now Tulio, Duke of the Southern Isles, and also the Chief Treasurer."

Tulio was delighted and he bowed. "Thank you, Your Majesty." That was the first time I saw him smile since we left Miguel.

Then Nicla walked down the aisle and everyone followed her, including me and my family. As we followed them out of the church, I turned to Tulio, who seemed both happy and sad. I knew why he was feeling both feelings. I knew that he was happy because the position Nicla gave him and the mansion she gave us to live in. And I knew why he was sad. "I miss Miguel, too, Tulio. And so does Benito."

"I know," Tulio told me. "And I am happy that he's happy. It's just he's been my oldest friend since childhood and we've never been away from each other since then. I know I will have to get used to him living his own life, but it's going to take time for me."

"I know," I said. "And it will be for me and Benito as well. But we will get there in the end."

"Yeah." Tulio sounded more positive. "And he only lives a kingdom away. We can go and see him whenever we like."

"That's the spirit," I said, before I gave him a kiss. "Now, let's go and celebrate Nicla's coronation and our new lives."

"Okay."

Then Tulio, Benito, Altivo and I did just that.
