Hide and Seek

Non AU

Simple fun and not what you would think love.

It was a warm day out and Naruto and Sakura were at the Uchiha compound with Sasuke, Itachi, and Obito. They were gathered in a huddle in the yard while the door to the house was open and Madara was sitting at the table reading the daily newspaper, keeping a side eye on the kids.

All the kids put a hand out and on the count of 5, they all put fingers out.

"Aw man! I always lose!" Obito said, complaining with a grin. Itachi rolled his eyes at him. "Just remember to count from a hundred."

"Hai, hai," Obito said with a sweat drop. Naruto giggled as he took off and Sasuke was right behind him, "Wait for me!"

Itachi disappeared quickly after helping the small trio onto the floor of the main house, leaving Sakura to find a hiding spot on her own. Madara watched on with a bored look on his face as he laid his paper down to watch pinkette find everyone else's hiding spot.

She quickly found Naruto who put his finger up to his mouth saying "SH!". She bit her lip and walked off and found Sasuke in the closet. Again, a finger to the lips and a "SH!" had her turning around. She looked up and found Itachi and was worried as he had managed to climb into a corner.

"91, 90, 89-" Obito counted, his face to a tree with a arm covering his eyes. Sakura ran around looking for a hiding spot and couldn't find one.

Madara smirked and quickly waved his hand at her, getting her attention. She looked to him in question and he waved her over.

Obito finally got to zero and went hunting for his friends.

As it was, he quickly found Naruto from his giggling. "Found you!"

"Awe, no fair, Obi-san!" Naruto whined but came out from behind the floor touching curtains. He took Obito's hand and they went walking around to find Sasuke in the closet, making Obito snicker at the joke in his head. He looked to Naruto and grinned before helping Sasuke down. After he set Sasuke on the floor, he looked up and sweat dropped as he found Itachi.

"That's not a very good spot, Itachi..." Obito told the young boy. The young boy shrugged and walked off to look for the last member of the group.

They all searched high and low for the girl as they couldn't find her.

Sakura peeked her head out from the paper that Madara was reading while hiding the young pinkette as the boys left the room to search the rest of the house and even the compound. She looked up to Madara and Madara looked to her and the both grinned. Sakura sat back down in his lap and curled up into his kimino as closed her eyes for a small nap. They would never find her here.

Madara knew he was right in staying behind today. He never had any children of his own and he loved spending time with the Uchiha brood and their friends. He soon hoped he would find someone he could spend his life with and maybe start a family of his own, and maybe play a little bit of Hide and Seek with his kids.

It was over an hour later that the brood of boys came in looking worried.

"Madara-sama! Have you seen Sakura-chan?!" Naruto yelled out in frustration. Madara chuckled.

"It's been an hour, she won fair and square, but here," He gentle told them as he lowered the paper that was hiding the sleeping pinkette from them. The boys all sweatdropped, Naruto even fell over in surprise.

"Next time, help your friend hide and maybe you'll win too."
