Vaggie was in her room lying next to Charlie. Charlie was caressing her face. She was safe, she was loved, and she was home.

With tears in her eyes, Vaggie asked, "Charlie, are we home?"

Vaggie smiled and reached her hand out for her.

Charlie nodded, smiled warmly, and said, "It's okay, Vaggie. I'm here. No one will hurt you anymore."

Vaggie choked in a sob and said, "Oh, Charlie! I love you so much!"

Charlie then went back to rubbing Vaggie's head.

Unfortunately, that was when the scene began to change. Charlie disappeared. The bright atmosphere quickly melted away into darkness, and Vaggie found herself alone. She called for Charlie, but no one responded.

"Charlie!" Vaggie cried. "Charlie, where are you?! Don't leave me! Charlie…"

In another moment, Vaggie's eyes opened to the room where she was before. To her dismay, she heard the familiar humming of the very demon she had been trying to escape this whole time. Even worse, he was laying on the bed next to her.

The Radio Demon turned his head, looked at his bride, pulled her into his embrace, caressed her head, and said, "Good evening, my love. Did you sleep well?"

Vaggie tried shoving Alastor away from her. He allowed her to push him away, but not before planting a kiss on her cheek.

Vaggie crawled backwards and wiped off the kiss until she had reached the edge of the bed.

"YOU!" Vaggie shrieked. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING TO ME WHILE I WAS ASLEEP?!"

Alastor chuckled amusedly and replied, "Nothing at all, dear. I had been putting you to sleep in your bedroom, but I thought you'd like a softer bed. So, I moved you into my room."

"Wait…this is your room?" Vaggie asked. "You moved me into your room?"

"Yes," Alastor said. "I think you've suffered enough for now, but now that the sex-addicted pest and his accomplices are out of the picture, we can get back to what we were doing before. The taming of the shrew if you will."

The memories rushed to Vaggie's mind, and she asked, "What did you do to my friends?! What happened?! Where are Charlie, Angel, Cherri, and Molly?!"

"They're all where they need to be," Alastor answered, taking Vaggie into his arms again. "Charlie's back home with her father. Angel and Cherri are with his family. Molly was taken home."

Alastor nuzzled her hair, took a sniff, and said, "Goodness, my dear, you could be smelling better. It's not your fault though. I've kept you asleep for a week after all."

Vaggie sat there stunned. It had been a week since she and the others had tried to escape and save Angel. She couldn't believe it.

"A week?" Vaggie asked. "I've been asleep for a week."

"Yes," Alastor said before continuing reassuringly. "But don't worry. I've taken care of all our wedding plans so you wouldn't have to lift a finger. I've also taken the liberty of keeping your teeth clean and keeping your bladder emptied."

Vaggie pushed Alastor away from her and crawled backwards to the other side of the bed.

Once she reached the other side, Vaggie stood up and smoothed down her blue nightgown, but she instantly keeled over in pain. Her stomach was grumbling uncontrollably, and she felt too weak to stand.

Alastor chuckled for a moment, flashed a sadistic smile, and said, "I had a feeling you'd run away as soon as you awoke from your sleep, so I saw to it that you wouldn't have the strength to do so. You haven't eaten a thing since that night at the auction."

"You son-of-a-bitch," Vaggie said, forcing herself to stand up. "I should have known that's why I was so tired and hungry when I woke up before! What the fuck else did you do to me while I was asleep just now?!"

Alastor chuckled at her anger and replied, "Don't worry, my love. I just watched you peacefully sleep. That, and I prepared a meal for you to eat."

"Wait, what?" Vaggie asked.

Alastor instantly teleported over to her side, offered his arm, and said, "If you please, follow me, my soon-to-be wife."

But instead of taking his arm, Vaggie summoned all her energy, dashed away from Alastor, threw open the door, and ran into the hallway.

Unfortunately, just as Vaggie spotted the staircase leading to the front door, Alastor scooped her up in his arms and teleported again.
