A/N - I know, I know. It's been freaking forever since I started this fic and I haven't updated it since. Hopefully this chapter is worth the wait.

As you'll see, a bunch of things happen in this chapter, buuut it takes place entirely on the day after the events of the first chapter. I was hoping to introduce Naruko in this chapter, but things kinda got away from me and I decided to roll with it. I like how the chapter turned out, and I think you will, too.

I introduce a couple of Castlevania characters in this chapter that fans should definitely be familiar with. Hopefully you guys enjoy the surprise. I also hint at a few things here and there and there's even some torture in this chapter! Yay crazy fun-fun!

Aaaaanywho, I honestly feel like shit right now. I've barely had any sleep, and it's because I keep waking up coughing like crazy. Nothing I do helps to stop it, unfortunately. Pretty sure it's caused by the Hiatal hernia in my chest. This crap didn't start until about a year ago, which is how long the doctors believe I've had this damn thing. It's causing all kinds of dang problems, and I hate it. x.x

Anyways, read on and enjoy! Hopefully! lol

Chapter 2 – Reunion

The next morning, Naruto stepped out of his new home and scowled as he felt the heat of the sun bearing down on his skin. May not harm me, but damn it's annoying. Oh well. Shrugging it off, he left the compound and glared at a man as he began to approach him. Without a word, Naruto dashed forward and had a claw poised mere centimeters from the man's left eye. "Try or say anything foolish, and you'll lose this eye. Do you understand me you worthless insect?"

The man began to shiver in fear. It was at this point that Naruto heard the sound of liquid spraying something. Blinking, he looked down at the man's pants to see a stain appearing in the crotch area and trickling down the man's left leg. Sighing, the vampire lord lowered his hand and watched the man sob in embarrassment and fear. Reaching up, he patted the man on the cheek and said, "Um, everything will be okay. Go home and get yourself cleaned up, okay? For what it's worth, I'm sorry for scaring you so bad. It was a rough night and I'm still kind of cranky."

The poor man nodded and said, "I'm s-sorry, too. Y-You are Naruto, right? I'll be sure to tell people not to bother you. D-Did something big happen to you last night? You seem…different."

Naruto quirked a brow in amusement. "Besides the obvious? Yes. I was attacked again, and they nearly killed Ayame right in front of me. That's what triggered this transformation. I would certainly appreciate you warning people not to try anything again. Now please, go and get yourself cleaned up and into some clean clothes. Take care of yourself."

"Y-Yeah. I'm sorry, Naruto. And thank you." The man said before hurrying off home.

Naruto sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Now I feel bad. Oh well. Might as well get to class and see what happens. I'm curious to see how my 'peers' react to the new me. I know that Mizuki is bound to be a problem. I'll deal with him soon enough. As for Iruka? We will simply have to wait and see."

Academy

When Naruto stepped into the classroom, all chatter in the room suddenly ceased as his classmates took in the new him. Without a word to anyone, he proceeded to climb the stairs and take a seat in the top row, as far away from the windows as he could get. Now to see what happens. He thought to himself with a small smirk on his face.

Akamaru barked a couple of times before whimpering from atop Kiba's head. "Huh? The hell do you mean that's Naruto? Looks nothing like that moron." When the dog simply barked again, Kiba's eyes went wide before he turned and took a couple of quick sniffs. Looking at the vampire, he narrowed his eyes and said, "You smell like blood. Are you really Naruto? You look…" Seeing the faint whisker-like marks on the man's face, Kiba's eyes widened again and he said, "Damn. You are Naruto! Dammit! You've become some kinda pretty boy! Seriously man, what the fuck happened to you?"

Before Naruto could reply, Sakura walked up to him and began to look him over from head to toe, occasionally poking him or feeling his arms or whatever the hell she was doing to him. He wasn't quite sure what was going on inside her mind at the moment. "Um, Sakura-chan? Say something, would you?"

Sitting down beside him, she said, "It is you, right, Naruto-kun?" Seeing him nod, Sakura looked down at her lap and said, "Mom and I were told that Dad was killed last night. He apparently committed a crime of some sort and was executed for it. We never got to say goodbye, and we never got to find out exactly what happened. So…I need to ask…"

Before Sakura could say anymore, Naruto reached up and placed a hand atop her head. "Sakura-chan, you need to know that your father and his fellow council members, at least the civilian branch, orchestrated a number of the attacks on me growing up. The attack last night was the worst I've ever been through. They almost killed Ayame-chan when she tried to protect me. That is what triggered my transformation into what you see before you now."

Reaching down, he took one of her hands in his and gave it a gentle squeeze as tears began to trickle down her cheeks. He hated seeing her hurting like this, but he knew that she needed to hear the truth from him before it could get distorted in some way.

"Sakura-chan, I have become a vampire lord known as Dracula. I have been reborn, in a sense. I…am no longer human, like you and your mother. I killed the mob…and then I killed your father and his peers for their crimes. I unleashed my new power and did things you might have gotten upset at me for. Hell…" Looking at Hinata at this point, Naruto frowned sadly at her and said, "Hinata-chan, I'm the one that wounded your father in such a grisly way. He will recover, but he should hopefully have learned his lesson. I do not want him hurting you ever again. I will not tolerate the abuse you go through any longer. I have the power to protect you now, and that's what I'm going to do."

Looking back at Sakura, he continued. "Sakura-chan, if you hate me now for what I have done and what I have taken from you…I am truly sorry. I do not regret what I did. I did what I did for a reason, and I would do so again. But, I know this must hurt you a great deal. For that, I am sorry."

Sakura shook her head and reached up to try and wipe away her tears. "Why?" she asked so quietly that Naruto almost didn't hear it. Before he could ask her what she meant, she forced out, "Why didn't you tell Mom and me that Dad was doing that? We could have done something! I never wanted to see you hurt! I…I didn't know. I didn't know!"

As Sakura started to break down, Naruto reached up and began to gently run his fingers through her long, pink hair. "I'm sorry, Sakura-chan. I…I wanted to protect you. I didn't want you to lose your dad. I felt guilty and wasn't sure what the heck I should do. But last night? I just couldn't take any of it anymore. I had to act before anything else could happen."

All Naruto could do was watch as one of his dearest friends sobbed in front of him. He didn't know what else he could do or say to help her through this difficult time.

"Naruto-kun?" Hinata said as she approached him. "Did…did my dad…?"

Naruto shook his head and said, "There were members of the Hyuga clan in the mob last night, but I am not sure if Hiashi had anything to do with it. I suspect he wanted to get rid of me for some reason, but there is no proof of any wrongdoing on his part."

Hinata lowered her gaze and frowned deeply. "So, he did it again. I'm sorry, Naruto-kun."

"I'd lie and say it's fine, but it's really not. Not after what happened. But I'm happy with what I've become, and Ayame-chan is fine now. I managed to save her with my new power." Naruto said, smiling warmly at her. "Now cheer up."

Hinata offered him a small smile, but before she could say anything, they heard Sasuke's voice. "So you've changed your appearance? You're still the same loser you've always been. I bet you're still a no-talent washout. You're full of shit. I bet you're just making all that up to make yourself look better."

Naruto cast a bored gaze at Sasuke and said, "Ah, the hopeless peasant speaks. I suppose a disgrace whose sister spared him on a whim really would know the face of a pathetic loser. After all, he has to stare at one in the mirror every day. Aw, did dear Daddy not give you enough hugs growing up? I'm sure Mikoto doted on you like the loving mother she was, but you probably didn't care much for her, did you? Nope! You were all too desperate to please dear Daddy. Such a shame his heart was colder than mine. Do tell me something, Loser, how do you sleep at night? I bet you have some rather interesting dreams, don't you? Let me guess. You really want to give your sister a precious bone instead of killing her, but you can't get it up, can you? Poor wittle Sasuke. Always destined to be a pathetic washout with no talent of his own. And yet the villagers have praised you, filled your head with ideas of grandeur. You believe yourself to be a prodigy, when you were really just the runt of your clan. Dear Daddy never loved you. Not like he did Izumi. Now she was something special. Far better than you could ever hope to be. How sad for you, Mr. Loser."

Sasuke's eyes were wide for a time before he snarled and lunged at the vampire lord. However, before he could reach him, and before Naruto could respond, Sasuke suddenly collapsed on the stairs, his face impacting hard with the edge of one of the stairs.

Blinking in confusion, Naruto soon noticed the shadow connected to Sasuke's and smirked as he looked at Shikamaru. "You saved him from disfigurement, at the very least. How clever of you, Shikamaru. Do tell me something, though. Were you trying to save him from me? Or did you think you were protecting me from him?"

Shikamaru shook his head and pointed towards the door, which had the effect of making Sasuke do the same. "Neither. I simply wanted to stop a conflict before it could escalate into something more. Besides, the teachers are on their way. It's best not to antagonize them. And before you say anything, I highly doubt either of them can do anything to you now, but they could still prove…troublesome."

Naruto shrugged and said, "Fair point. Though Loser might need to go see the nurse. It would appear you've broken his nose and left a rather nasty gash on it at the same time. Quite amusing, but I would rather not hear him whine and complain all day. Would anyone care to take him to the nurse's office?"

When Shikamaru released him, Sasuke stood up and glared at Naruto. "This isn't over." With that being said, he left the room before any of his 'worthless' fangirls could assist him.

Shortly afterwards, Iruka and Mizuki entered the classroom and took their positions at the front of the class. Glaring at the students, the silver-haired chunin asked, "Who the hell did that to Sasuke? Speak up NOW!"

Naruto smirked wickedly and said, "Who's to say he didn't do that to himself? He had a little accident and tripped on the stairs. It was really quite amusing."

Iruka and Mizuki both looked at him, noticing Sakura trying to wipe away tears while Hinata sat beside her, gently rubbing her back. For a moment, neither of them could recognize who this man was. However, Iruka soon figured it out and asked, "Naruto?"

The new Dracula chuckled and said, "Correct, Iruka. I'm sure you have questions, so ask them."

Before Iruka could say anything, however, Mizuki decided to snap at Naruto. "What you did to Sasuke was no 'accident', Naruto! I don't care how much you might have changed, you're still scum! You're going to apologize to Sasuke when he comes back, and you will…!"

Mizuki never got to finish his statement. Naruto suddenly appeared before him, his claws pinching the teacher's tongue tightly. "You are going to shut up and beg me for forgiveness, Mizuki. Your mistreatment of me ends NOW. Should you harass me or try to pick on me again, I will remove certain 'parts'. Do you understand me? Nod your head if you do. And then, I want you to grovel at my feet, call me 'Naruto-sama' and beg me to forgive you for your transgressions against me. I will not tolerate you any longer. I am not killing you for one simple reason: you aren't worth it. Well, that and I'd rather not scar the minds of my classmates by stringing you up by your entrails and splashing the walls with your blood. As amusing as that may be, you're just not worth it."

The chunin's eyes were wide and he had a look of fear on his face. Glancing around the room, he could see that no one in the room was coming to his defense. Either they were too afraid, in shock…or they just didn't care. Hell, even Iruka wasn't making a move to help him! Returning his gaze to the new Dracula, Mizuki narrowed his eyes into a glare and made to swing his fist at the monster before him. However…

Naruto chuckled darkly as the teacher began to scream and cry in sheer agony. When the fool dared to try and punch him, Naruto ripped off his tongue from where he had grabbed it. As the man began to choke on his own blood, Naruto said, "I warned you. Might want to take this back and hurry to the hospital before you bleed to death or something. I honestly don't care. You were a fool to irritate me, and you have paid the price for it."

Iruka's eyes were wide and he quickly took the tongue from Naruto before vanishing with Mizuki. Once they were gone, Naruto turned to look at his fellow classmates and grinned sinisterly at them. "Do you see now what I am capable of? Tell me, is it wise to get on my nerves? To anger me? I suggest you all learn from his mistakes. Now, I am sure some of you would like to say something to me, so out with it. I would rather get all of this over with before Iruka gets back."

Before anyone could say anything, the door opened and a young woman's voice could be heard saying, "That was quite the spectacle we just bore witness to. To think, all the fool had to do was apologize and he was too stubborn to do even that. Such a shame."

Recognizing the voice, Naruto turned and gazed upon the beauty that entered the room alongside another young woman. "Carmilla? And…" Looking at the other woman, he recognized her as one of Dracula's minions, a creature known as Lilith. "Lilith. How interesting. I assume you were reborn in this time as well, then?"

Lilith smiled at Naruto before she took a knee and bowed her head to him. "It is good to see you again, Master."

Carmilla giggled before stepping up to Naruto and looking up into his eyes with a seductive grin. "Yes, my Lord. We weren't entirely sure why…until last night when we felt your power. I have missed you, my love. I truly thought you had perished for good." Leaning in until her lips were centimeters from his, she said, "I'm glad to see I was wrong. To think, Naruto was your reincarnation all this time. It is a…pleasant surprise."

Naruto smirked before pressing his lips to hers and pulling her flush against his body. When they parted, he grinned at her and said, "I'm glad to see the two of you, as well. Though, I would prefer it if you two would refer to me as Naruto in this lifetime."

Carmilla's eyes widened and she looked searchingly into her love's eyes. "But…?"

Reaching up a hand, Naruto caressed her cheek and said, "Carmilla, I have been reborn, that is true. However, I am still Naruto at my core. It is…odd, to say the least. I have memories of both lives, but Naruto remains the dominant soul, despite everything. And it is not a 'bad' existence. It gives me a new perspective and grants me a unique insight into this time's problems and the people of this era. If it eases your mind, I have decided to refer to myself as Naruto Dracula Uzumaki in this period of time. At least for the time being. Now, tell me something, my dear Carmilla. Do the two of you retain your powers? Or do I need to grant you the gifts of the past?"

Before Carmilla could reply, Kiba interrupted them, much to Carmilla's and Lilith's annoyance. "Wait just a minute! Who the heck are these hotties and why the hell are they so interested in you?! What makes you so damn special?!"

When Carmilla went to say something, Naruto pressed a finger to her lips before he turned to Kiba and gave him a fanged grin. "In case you missed it, I am Dracula reborn. It would seem you haven't heard the legend. 'Tis a shame, but an uneducated fleabag such as yourself not knowing about me is no surprise. I am the Lord of Darkness reborn. Malice given form. Power incarnate. And, should I wish it, I could burn you with hellfire and laugh as you are sent to the fiery pits of Hell. Hmm, I might just do that anyway if you annoy me." Shrugging, the vampire lord looked into Kiba's eyes and said, "Lilith is a servant of mine from millennia ago, before Julius Belmont finally killed me. She has always been a loyal subject, and I sincerely appreciate her efforts on my behalf."

Looking at Carmilla, he smirked for a moment before returning his gaze to Kiba. "Carmilla has always been loyal to me. In the past, she was one of my lovers and I cherished her as I would any of my brides. She fought and died on my behalf. Killed by one of my many enemies as she tried to help me regain my true power so that I might do away with those that meant to seal me away yet again. And, if you absolutely must know, Carmilla is a vampire like me. Lilith is what is known as a succubus. They're both quite beautiful, are they not?"

Before Kiba could reply, Carmilla smiled pleasantly at him and said, "Do think about what you want to say. Otherwise, I will do to you something far worse than what my love did to that fool Mizuki. Do not test my patience."

Kiba gulped and quickly shut up before he could bury himself with his idiocy. Instead, he turned his gaze on Hinata when she began to speak. What the hell are you doing?! Can't you see how scary they are?!

"Sorry to bother you, but I have a few questions I'd like to ask." Hinata said as politely as she could.

Naruto quirked a brow in curiosity before he looked at Lilith and Carmilla. What will you two do, I wonder?

Lilith frowned as she finally rose and stared into the girl's eyes. "Speak your questions, girl. What do you want that is so important as to interrupt our reunion with our lord?"

Hinata stared deep into Lilith's eyes before turning her gaze onto Carmilla. "First, why are you two here? At the academy, I mean. Are you genin? Students? What really brings you here?"

Carmilla smirked at Hinata and said, "Well, you're a bold one. You show no fear in our presence. I can respect that. It's foolish, but I respect that." Glancing at Lilith, Carmilla smiled at her before returning her gaze to Hinata. "We were technically genin for a time, but when things happened to our teams, we were put in the reserves. The Hokage decided that, in order for us to get to know Naruto better, we would pose as students until graduation. I doubt he knew of our connection to our lord. It is simply a happy coincidence, I assure you."

Hinata nodded and said, "I figured as much. Now for the real question." Taking a calming breath, she stared challengingly into Carmilla's eyes and asked, "Is the reason you're so interested in Naruto-kun because you truly care about him? Or is it because you've missed Dracula and want to be with him in this lifetime as well? I've cared about him since before this change, this awakening. Can you two say the same?"

While Lilith looked furious at the questions, Carmilla raised a brow in curiosity before she nodded in understanding. "I see. If it helps to ease your worries, I've always found Naruto fascinating. Having the Kyuubi sealed inside of him at birth, the abuse he's suffered, everything made me rather curious about him as a person. Despite everything, he remained strong and managed to improve his skills, his deductive reasoning, his intelligence. He was diligent in his studies and trained almost every day to the point of exhaustion. It was fascinating to watch. And yet, despite the abuse he suffered…" Looking at her lord, Carmilla smiled at him and said, "Naruto remained a kind person and was able to make friends with people like you and Sakura. He found those he cherished."

Lilith nodded in agreement with Carmilla's assessment and said, "I will freely admit that, when Naruto went through his transformation and was reborn as our lord, we were excited, thrilled even to be with Lord Dracula again! But that did not mean that we did not still care for the one known as Naruto Uzumaki. We knew that, even though he had changed, our lord would still hold love in his heart. He always did care for those close to him. Whether our enemies believed it or not, Lord Dracula did have compassion in his heart. Those that served him were always taken care of. It hurt him to see our people hurt, even killed by the likes of the Belmonts and their allies."

Carmilla smiled at Hinata and said, "As I said, you are brave, Hinata. To stand up to us for Naruto's sake is commendable. You are one worthy of respect. Our lord has chosen his friends well. Now answer a question from me." When Hinata nodded, Carmilla smirked at her and said, "You clearly love Naruto Uzumaki. Can you share that love with our lord Dracula? He is no longer just Naruto Uzumaki, after all. Naruto and Dracula are one in the same now. Naruto will kill those who wrong him. He will punish the wicked and do what needs to be done to change this world. So, what is your answer?"

Hinata didn't even hesitate. "No matter how much he's changed, Naruto-kun is still Naruto-kun. I know he would never hurt me or anyone else without a good reason. I love him and I always will. It…it's okay if he doesn't feel the same. I would understand. But, just because he's changed, that is no reason for me to stop loving him."

Carmilla smirked and began to applaud the young woman. "Excellent answer. Now…" Turning to Naruto again, she said, "Before we were interrupted, you asked me if we retained our true beings. Unfortunately, the answer is no. It was our hope that you would restore our true forms to us."

Before Naruto could reply, Iruka reentered the room with Sasuke and said, "I'm sure you have plenty of things to say to one another, but you need to take your seats now, please. Naruto, we need to have a talk after class today. Regardless of your reasons, you did harm both Sasuke and Mizuki. Whether you like it or not…"

Naruto shook his head and said, "First, I did not harm Sasuke. I never touched him. Yes, I antagonized him, but I did not hurt him. Second, I recognize the fact that you do not like me, Iruka. Should you pursue this course of action, I will do something about it. I am only remaining in the academy as a mere courtesy. Whether you like it or not, I will take up my role as a shinobi of this village. That has already been decided. If you still choose to try and 'deal with' me, I can and will take it up with the Hokage. It is either you deal with him…or I punish you in my own way. You saw for yourself what I am capable of now, Iruka. I will not hesitate to 'deal with' you myself. Now, we are going to take our seats and you will begin class. Try anything foolish and this class will end prematurely…as will you."

Iruka nodded fearfully and said, "P-Please take your seats, all of you. And Sasuke?" Seeing he had the boy's attention, he said, "Try not to piss him off. I don't want you getting hurt."

Sasuke scoffed and walked past Naruto, casting a glare at him as he passed. When Naruto simply smiled at him and waved, the Uchiha scoffed and returned to his seat. Once he was seated, Naruto returned to his spot beside Sakura. Meanwhile, Carmilla and Lilith sat in the two seats right in front of him, one row down from their lord.

Iruka took a breath to steady himself before he looked at the class and said, "In case you were wondering, Sasuke will be fine. His nose was set and, as you can see, he received stitches to help mend the wound he suffered. He would still be in the hospital, but…"

Sasuke scoffed and looked out the nearby window. "I refuse to stay in a hospital when I could be getting stronger. That is all."

Iruka nodded and said, "Anyways, Mizuki will survive. They are reattaching his tongue, but he will not be able to return to his duties as a teacher. Hokage-sama will assign someone else to take his place and assist me for the next two months. And before you ask, no, I don't know who it will be."

Carmilla frowned at this and thought to herself, It better not be another bigot. I will not have some blowhard harassing my lord again. Hokage, you had best choose wisely.

Looking at Sakura at this point, Iruka frowned and asked, "Sakura? Do you need to go to the nurse or something? You don't seem well."

Sakura flinched and looked at the teacher. Shaking her head, she said, "I'll be all right, Iruka-sensei. I'm just having a hard time right now. That's all." Looking at Naruto, she took his hand and said, "I don't hate you, Naruto. I'm just disappointed that you never told me what he was doing to you. I…I'm so sorry for everything. I miss Dad, but…"

Naruto smiled at his friend and wrapped an arm around her, hugging her and pressing her head to his chest. "It's fine, Sakura-chan. Everything will be all right. For now, let's listen."

When Sakura nodded, but didn't remove herself from Naruto's embrace, Iruka shrugged and decided to get on with the lesson. "All right, today we'll…"

Later

After a rather boring lecture about a topic Naruto and his loved ones already knew plenty about, the class was finally outside on the practice field. They had finished with the shurikenjutsu portion of the class and now it was time for spars. Currently, Lilith was standing across from a girl called Ami. The girl looked terrified of Lilith, if her shaking was anything to go by. Shrugging it off, Lilith waited patiently for Iruka to announce the beginning of the spar. This is going to be boring.

Naruto and the girls were seated by themselves at the back of the class. They didn't feel like interacting with their fellow classmates. Instead, they felt they needed to have a talk, of sorts. "So, you're telling us that your parents are still alive and you even have a sister? Lady Kushina would never have left you here alone, Naruto. What on Earth happened?" Carmilla asked, sounding rather irritated at the moment.

Naruto scoffed and said, "The Hokage believes Minato and Jiraiya are responsible. They did something and it has caused Kushina to completely forget about me. Naruko doesn't even know she has a brother. So, the council, Hokage, and I agreed that their precious home is mine now. When they return, they won't have a home to return to. I imagine Kushina will have some questions that Minato and Jiraiya will be far too afraid to answer. I'll admit, I am curious to meet my sister and see what kind of person she has turned out to be. I do hope she is able to keep an open mind."

Hinata winced as she watched Lilith strike down Ami again and again with brutal efficiency until Iruka finally called the match in her favor. As Ami limped off to go and see the nurse, as per Iruka's instructions, Hinata turned to Naruto and said, "We can only hope that Naruko is a good person, despite what Minato and Jiraiya have done. What are you going to do to Minato and Jiraiya when they get here?"

Before Naruto could answer, Carmilla and Ino were called up, much to Carmilla's annoyance. "Dammit. Wait for me, my love." She said before standing up and making her way into the ring. When she got a good look at the Yamanaka heiress, she sighed and said, "Oh goodie. A fangirl. Let me guess, you've focused more on trying to get in the Uchiha's pants than you have training, haven't you? From the look of you, I'd guess you're even dieting when you should be eating healthy meals, training regularly, and putting some damn muscle on your body. Such a shame. You are a pretty, young thing. Wasting your potential simply for some boy that cares nothing for anyone else but his sister. I do believe Naruto probably said it before, but I'm willing to bet your dear 'Sasuke-kun' can't even get it up. What a shame for you and the other fangirls."

When Sasuke snarled and clenched his fists, Naruto and his friends overheard him say, "You'll regret those words, bitch." Frowning at this, Naruto said, "The runt is going to continue to be an annoyance. If I could just kill him without the villagers going into a riot, I'd gladly do so. This is going to be a long two months." Sighing softly, he turned his gaze to Ino and waited to hear what she would say in response.

Ino clenched her fists angrily before sighing and sagging slightly. "I know. I know you're right. Daddy's told me over and over again that I need to take this more seriously, or I'll die out there. Or worse. I don't want that. But…" Looking at Sasuke at this point, she said, "I really do care about him. I just want Sasuke-kun to like me. But…"

Carmilla frowned and said, "Sasuke doesn't care about you or anyone in the village. You know that. So why hold yourself back like this? What's stopping you from seeking your true potential?"

The blonde shook her head and continued to stare at the ground. "I don't know. I guess I just don't know if I have what it takes to really make something of myself. I…I look in the mirror and all I can feel is disappointment. I feel ugly. I feel stupid. I feel ashamed of myself. There's only two months left in the academy. That's not really enough time to help myself any, is it? I'm…I'm afraid."

Before Carmilla could say anything, Ino looked her in the eyes and said, "When I first entered the academy, I was so excited. I was serious about really making something of myself. Pushing myself to my limits and overcoming them. I wanted to be strong. Sakura and I were best friends. Then…then Izumi killed everyone in her clan but Sasuke. Somehow, we fell in with the crowd and decided that we would try and snag Sasuke for ourselves. We stopped being friends, all for some stupid boy that just doesn't care about how good he really has it compared to other people." Sighing sadly, she clenched and unclenched her fists a few times. Neither she nor Carmilla bothered to do anything when Iruka told them to begin the match. "Then…then Sakura managed to snap out of it and befriended Naruto. She seemed so happy to spend time with him. Someone that was genuinely kind to her. Someone that cared about her as a friend. Someone that pushed her to be the best she could be. And…I wished that I had that. But…I stayed the course. I wanted to be the one to melt through the ice surrounding Sasuke's heart and win him over. I wanted him to love me. But…"

Carmilla frowned and said, "Your self-confidence was shot to hell, and you could barely stand to look at yourself anymore. Ino, you don't need some boy to tell you that you're beautiful. You have a family, an entire clan even, that will help you. They care about you and want to see you succeed. You just need to give yourself a chance and try. You have a lot of hard work ahead of you, and two months might not seem like that much time, but you can improve yourself. Hell, when Lilith and I were reborn into this time period, we weren't sure how we would get by without our old bodies and the abilities they granted us. But we worked hard and really made something of ourselves. We missed our old bodies, and we dearly missed our beloved Lord Dracula, but we were determined to prove ourselves regardless. If you just open your eyes and look around, you might find that one, special person that would help you on your path to greatness. And, if even that is not enough for you, you can speak with our lord and see what he can do for you. He can grant you a strength all your own…for a price."

Ino frowned for a moment before saying, "That is a tempting offer, I'll admit. If…if I can't get any stronger on my own…would it really be okay if I asked for a little help?"

Carmilla smirked at Ino and said, "Just so long as you realize what you're getting yourself into by seeking our lord's help. It might be a price you are willing to pay, but we shall see should it come to that. Now, I do believe Iruka is waiting for us to begin our match. You might not feel ready to challenge me, but I want to see what little you are currently capable of. Show me what you can do."

Naruto smiled as he watched the match begin. "You've changed as well, Carmilla. I'm glad." Looking at Lilith, he reached up a hand and caressed her cheek. "I will restore you both to your true forms soon, I promise. Come with me after we are finished here and I will guide you to my home. There, I will give you both what you want."

Lilith leaned into his touch and placed her hand gently over his. However, she still found it in her to smirk at the new Dracula and asked, "And what if we want more than just our old forms back? Perhaps some time alone with our lord?"

Smirking at his servant, Naruto leaned in close and whispered, "Perhaps another time, dear Lilith. You and Carmilla will simply have to wait patiently. If you two are good, you'll be rewarded in due time, I assure you."

Lilith pouted cutely at him, but nodded her head in understanding. "Of course, my lord. We will be patient, I promise."

"Good." Naruto watched as Carmilla returned to them while Ino retook her place elsewhere in the gathering of students. "You did well, Carmilla. You've changed from how you used to be. You've become a better person than I remember."

Leaning in close, Dracula's mistress pressed her lips to his for a moment before saying, "We had to change with the times, my love. It was simply necessity. Besides, we had someone special to look up to." Winking at him, Carmilla was about to kiss him again before Naruto was called to the ring with Sasuke. Grumbling irritably, she seated herself beside Lilith and pouted cutely. "Dammit."

Naruto chuckled to himself in response as he made his way into the ring. Watching this for a moment, Hinata reached over and patted Carmilla on the back. "He'll be back soon. For now, let's just watch him put Sasuke in his place. I just hope the idiot will learn his lesson after Naruto-kun beats him. But…"

Lilith scoffed and said, "That's not going to happen. That boy is stubborn as they come. It's a shame that he survived instead of dear Mikoto. She was a good woman."

"Indeed she was." Carmilla said. "We already know that the two of us are going to be on a team with Lord Naruto. I'm not sure who the Hokage plans to pair with the Uchiha. I just hope he doesn't get his teammates killed."

Sakura frowned and spoke up finally. She had been silent all this time, simply watching and listening to the conversation. She was still shaken by everything that had happened last night and throughout the day thus far. However, she was not mad at Naruto. How could she be when she loved him so much? "All we can do is wait and see. I just know that I really don't want to be on a team with him. But, if Hokage-sama puts me on his team, I'll try my best with whoever our teammate is. I have a feeling I already know who Sasuke's sensei will be."

Lilith nodded and said, "Kakashi Hatake. The only other person in the village that possesses a Sharingan. He will likely teach Sasuke all that he knows. I just hope he takes the other two genin seriously. Otherwise, they will be at risk."

Hinata frowned and shook her head. "Kakashi is Minato's student. He will gladly do whatever that man wants him to do. I fully expect Minato to try and convince Third-sama to hand the position back over to him when he returns."

Carmilla chuckled and said, "The Hokage won't do it. Minato gave up the position and Hiruzen will not hand it over again when that man has failed as a person and as a father. The Third cares about Naruto and will not tolerate a man like Minato making demands of him. No, I fully expect the old man to put Minato in his place and teach him a rather hard lesson. I just hope that Naruto is able to repair relations with his mother. She is not at fault for what has happened, after all. And I hope he is able to form a relationship with his sister. He deserves a loving family, even if it's an incomplete one."

Hinata and the other girls nodded in agreement. It was at this point that they turned their focus to Naruto as Iruka announced for the match to begin. "Naruto-kun is going to destroy him."

Naruto smirked at Sasuke and said, "Come, Loser, and show me what you can do. Now that I have been reborn, I'm eager to show you how great the gap in skill is between the two of us. I want you to feel despair as I beat you. I will tear down your confidence, just as you have done to your fangirls by spurning their advances. Opening your heart to others is no weakness, Uchiha. But, I suppose my words are wasted on you. Instead, let my actions speak for me. Now come at me!"

Sasuke glared into Naruto's eyes and said, "You're just a freak. I don't care how many people you killed last night. I don't care how strong you think you've become. You're still as weak as you've always been and it's time for me to put you in your place! You will grovel at my feet where you belong!"

As Sasuke rushed at him, Naruto frowned as he already noticed a number of flaws in Sasuke's technique. His speed, while better than the average genin-level ninja, was still utterly pathetic in comparison to his new abilities. His form was sloppy. The Uchiha's normal taijutsu style had been thrown to the wayside in favor of a brutal assault, all in an effort to put Lord Dracula in his place. Looking into the boy's eyes, he wondered if things would be different if only Sasuke had his Sharingan. I guess we'll see in due time. He thought to himself with a casual shrug of his shoulders.

When Sasuke threw a fist at his chest, Naruto shook his head in disappointment before raising a single finger and flicking the Uchiha in the forehead, sending him tumbling end over end to the edge of the ring. "Get up and try again, little loser. Unless you would like to take this seriously and use your normal stances? In that case, I can come to you. It is entirely up to you, little Uchiha."

Rising to his feet, Sasuke entered his clan's beginning stance and looked hard into Naruto's eyes. "Fine then. If you think you can beat me in a spar like this, I'll humor you."

Naruto smirked wickedly before taking a single step and suddenly appearing in Sasuke's face. Before the Uchiha survivor could react, Naruto's fist embedded itself in his sternum, lifting the teen off the ground and slowly pushing him out of the arena. However, Naruto didn't want his fun to stop here, so he grabbed the runt by the hair and slammed his face into the ground and ground his head there for a moment, listening as he groaned out in sheer agony and humiliation. When Iruka went to call the match and save Sasuke from his fate, Naruto looked into the instructor's eyes and used his hypnotic gaze to make Iruka submit. When the man kneeled before him and went silent, Naruto chuckled darkly and pressed his heel painfully into Sasuke's spine. "You poor, stupid boy. You have crossed a god and you will pay the price for it."

Lifting Sasuke to his feet, Naruto slapped his face a couple of times, snapping his head back and forth. "You don't get to sleep through this, Sasuke Uchiha. You're going to learn what it means to anger me. From this day forward, you are going to worship the ground I walk on. You will be the one to grovel at my feet. And should your pride get in the way, I'll gladly force you to submit to me day in and day out until you either learn to obey…or you learn to avoid me at all cost. I will not tolerate you annoying me or my future brides. And, to ensure this lesson sticks, you're going to experience pain like nothing you've experienced before today. If you thought Izumi screwed you over, you will soon learn that I can be far more terrifying than she could ever be."

"I'm…sorry…" Sasuke whimpered out as tears began to trickle down his cheeks. "Forgive…me…"

Naruto blinked a couple of times in shock. When he regained his composure, he started to chuckle evilly. Then, he erupted into full on raucous laughter. When he finally managed to calm down, he revealed his fangs before sinking them deep into Sasuke's neck. Everyone's eyes widened significantly as they listened to the Uchiha screaming as the vampire lord drank his blood.

Once he had had his fill, Naruto dropped Sasuke to the ground and licked his lips and fangs clean. "Your blood is foul, but I suppose it will suffice for now." Shrugging, he watched as Sasuke attempted to crawl away. "Oh, you poor, foolish boy." Raising up his leg, he stomped down hard on the back of his right knee, eliciting yet another ear-piercing scream from the Uchiha. Raising his leg again, he continued to stomp on that same leg in the same spot over and over again, though not enough to truly shatter the bone. No, he wanted Sasuke to become a genin, after all. He wouldn't have his fun ruined so soon and so easily.

Lifting the teen up by the hair, Naruto proceeded to land a solid, hard punch in the center of his back. This had the effect of bruising the boy's spine, but Naruto wasn't done quite yet. Still gripping the boy by his hair, he punched him a few more times in numerous places, such as the ribs and various locations along his spine. Then, just for giggles, he began lifting Sasuke over his head and slamming him into the ground again and again, laughing maniacally all the while.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself down, Naruto lifted Sasuke by the hair again and said, "I could continue to torture you, but what would be the point? I think I've proven my point by now. Then again, it is rather fun making you scream. Oh well." Casually tossing Sasuke out of the ring, watching as he struggled to draw in breath, Naruto released Iruka from his spell and proceeded to the back of the class again and sat down with the girls he cared for.

As Iruka hurried to get Sasuke to the hospital, Carmilla giggled and looked into her love's eyes. "You enjoyed that."

Naruto shrugged and said, "I did. However, I doubt this will be enough to teach him some true humility. We shall have to wait and see, I suppose. Sorry if I worried you girls."

Sakura looked at him and asked, "Did, um…did you really need to do all that? He was terrified of you, Naruto."

Naruto closed his eyes and said, "Sakura, if you are uncomfortable with the new me, then say so, all right? Yes, I enjoyed making Sasuke suffer. But it was not without purpose. It is my hope that Sasuke will learn from this experience. It is sadly quite unlikely, but it is worth a shot. Besides, I needed to use him to prove a point. I just hope that point got through to everyone." Sighing, he looked into his friend's eyes and said, "I will not apologize for my actions, Sakura. I will not force you to remain my friend if you feel you are unable to continue being one."

Sakura shook her head and said, "That's not what I'm saying. You're my best friend. I'm just worried about you. That's all."

"I see. Well, I thank you for your concern. But I promise that I am fine. And the villagers cannot do anything to me anymore, so I am not worried about them." Smiling at Sakura, he said, "I do not want to lose you, Sakura-chan. You are one of the people I cherish most in this world. Losing you would be…hard. I want us to remain close for many years to come."

Giggling a bit, the pinkette said, "I'm not leaving you, Naruto-kun. You know I love you. You're family."

"Indeed." Naruto said, smirking at her. Turning his gaze to Hinata, he was about to ask her how she felt, but she smiled kindly at him and said, "You don't even need to ask me how I feel, Naruto-kun. As far as I'm concerned, Sasuke got exactly what he deserved."

Lilith giggled to herself and said, "Cold. I'm going to like you, Hinata Hyuga."

Hinata giggled as well and said, "Glad to hear it, Lilith."

I'm glad you girls are getting along. To think I was worried how things would go between all of you. Naruto thought to himself with an amused chuckle.

Uzumaki Estate

After Iruka returned, he called an end to the class for the day and watched Naruto in fear the entire time he made his way out of the academy with his girls. Bidding goodbye to Hinata and Sakura, he led Carmilla and Lilith to his new home. Once inside, he sat on the couch and motioned for the two of them to take a seat on either side of him.

"Once I change you girls, you will need to reacclimate yourselves to your old forms once again. It will be an awkward process, but you already know the rewards are more than worth it in the end. I assume that you two would like to move in with me?" Naruto questioned.

Carmilla ran her hand up and down his thigh, grinning seductively at him. "Indeed, my love. It's just a shame you don't want to 'play' a little. I would love to make up for lost time, after all."

Naruto chuckled and said, "As would I, my dear Carmilla. However, I will not do anything without first consulting Ayame. She is the first I turned, and I do not want to upset her by doing such things without including her. She is new to this whole situation and does not yet know what this new life entails. You two will simply have to wait your turns."

Carmilla frowned, but nodded in understanding. "Of course, my love. We would not think to harm a fellow bride in such a way. In fact, we will help her in any way that we are able. I am curious to see just how powerful she will become with the proper training."

"She is right, Master." Lilith said. "Ayame is to be your bride. We will work to make her happy. She will be loved as one of us."

"Thank you. Both of you." Naruto said before he turned to Carmilla. Leaning in close, he said, "You know what has to be done. Drink of my blood and allow yourself to become a creature of the night again." Using his claws, he punctured his wrist and let the blood flow. Holding it up for Carmilla to drink, he didn't let a single drop spill onto the couch or the carpet. After all, he didn't want anything to ruin his new home.

As Carmilla drank greedily of his blood, he turned his gaze onto Lilith and pressed two fingers to her forehead. "Are you ready?" Seeing her nod, he poured his power into her and watched as she underwent the transformation into what she was always meant to be: a succubus of great power.

Carmilla let out a sensual moan as she felt the vampire lord's blood coursing through her system. As her body changed, she looked into her lord's eyes and made a show of sensually licking the blood off her lips and savoring every last drop. "I love you, Lord Naruto. Forever."

"And I love you girls. As I always will. There are no vampire hunters to terrorize us in this new timeline. I do not even know if anyone can take up the Vampire Killer, wherever it is. For now, we are safe, and I plan to keep it that way. Nothing will ever tear us apart again."

Naruto watched as the girls sat beside him again, looking absolutely exhausted from the changes their bodies underwent. Lifting them over his shoulders, he carried them towards the bedrooms and picked out a couple for them. Now to go and speak with Ayame. I certainly hope she'll understand. I'd hate to see her angry with me. Shivering nervously at the thought, he left the girls and proceeded to leave his home. We will be happy this time around. I'll make sure of it.

A/N - And that's the chapter! What did you guys think? Did you like the introduction/inclusion of Carmilla and Lilith? As you can see, I've taken some liberties and changed things up to fit with the story. *shrugs* I think it keeps things interesting. Hopefully you enjoy it.

I'll probably work on a new chapter for When you Wish Upon a Star next, considering I've had a LOT of requests to update that story since I got back to writing. Life kinda gets in the way and I get busy, sick, hit that nasty thing known as writer's block, yada yada yada. I love writing, don't get me wrong, but I can't do it 24/7. It takes time and I tend to have a lot of crap going on in my daily life. Hell, I'm not even sure what the treatment for this hernia is going to do to me. There's a very real possibility it could require surgery, and with how big it is and the location, that's kinda dangerous. I don't know what the hell to expect. I just know something NEEDS to be done about it, because I'm in so much pain, I can barely breathe a lot of the time, the heartburn I suffer from makes sleep VERY hard, etc. It's not fun.

Anywho, as I mentioned at the top, I'm absolutely exhausted. It has been a looong day and I just want to relax for a while. Hopefully it doesn't take me forever to get a new chapter out for this story again. We'll see.

EDIT: Okay, for Lilith, look up a picture of her from Grimoire of Souls. I'll try to include an actual description of her next time if I can, but for now, that's the best look available for her. Carmilla, on the other hand? There's a number of different appearances for her, so I'll leave the version of her up to your imagination for the time being until I can settle on a specfic version of her. Sorry for the confusion.
